had some energy to spare this late afternoon. Got on the Tacx for a fast and intense 30 minutes. Average heartrate just above 100bpm and with an average speed of 39kph I could not complain about the form of the day.
Got on the Tacx Satori this evening for 50 minutes a good paced cycling. Legs felt fine and I could maintain a high cadence an speed throughout the ride.
Felt like doing a recovery ride today so I kept the speed relatively low whilst focussing on flushing the fatigue out of my muscles. I still felt the aftermath of yesterdays Core workout, with aching legs and stiff hip and lower back muscles.
I had a good meal with my collegues and arriving home I felt the need to lose some calories so I went for almost an hour on the Tacx Satori. My legs felt strong an rested and I could maintain a good pace while keeping my average heartrate well below 100bpm.
Lots of rain yesterday and still raining today so the only option for a ride was on the Tacx Satori. My legs felt fine and rested and I settled for a 45 minute ride.
The eraly evening saw me getting on the Hilset on the Tacx Satori for 55 minutes of intense cycling. The legs felt good and I was able to maintain a good pace throughout the ride.
Felt a little bit tired from yesterdays' Core and Pilates workout so I only managed to do 30 minutes of Tacx cycling today. Letting the legs enjoy an easy day.
Some really nice weather today with up to 14 degrees C. Not bad for late january. Pity I had to wordk. Arriving home I got on the Hilset on the Tacx Satori and went for an easy 53 minutes. Good pace but focussing on streaming the legs with blood and recovery.
It was raining slightly when I left with the Psychlo-X for a road ride. The snow had melted and left a lot of water on the trails so the decision to stay on-road was quickly made. I started out over the Zoete Waters and Sint Joris Weert towards the Langendaal and then taking a left towards Sint Agatha Rode. Left again a back to Sint Joris where I took a right turn towards Nethen. The wind was blowing in my favor now but the drizzle remained and kept myself and the roads wet. Over Hamme Mille and Gottechain I reached Beauvechain where I took a left towards Opvelp. Into Bierbeek and over the Haasrode Industrie to reach the Heverlee forest. Almost collided with a dog without a leach when I rode towards the War Cemetery. Good for an adrenaline rush but I was quite angry with the irresponsible owner. I don't want to imagine what would have happened if I had fallen off. Finishing the ride over the Sapellenbos and into Blanden. The legs felt fine and the averse weather and conditions provided quite a challenge to overcome and ride the bike.

Some heavy rain is forecast for the late afternoon and night so I'm guessing the snow will be gone by tomorrow, leaving behind a lot of mud and water. Today I settled as usual for a ride on the Tacx Satori. My legs felt fine and I was able to maintain a good pace with a average heartrate of 98 bpm.
Today saw the return of positive temperatures and I made a long mid-day walk at work. In the early evening I settled on the Tacx Satori for a 53-minute ride. My legs felt sore from yesterdays' cardio-core session but after a while they loosened up a bit. Could maintain a good speed.
Minus 6 degrees C this morning. Clear skies and snow on th eground cooled off the earth quite well. A short midday walk around the KBC block was all I could find time for during the day but in the afternoon I went for 50 minutes on the rollers. The legs felt fine and rested and I could maintain a hight pace and low average heartrate.
With the first snow of this winter falling during the night and morning, any plans for rides outside quickly vanished with the growing amount of wet snow trickling out of the rain-bessoden clouds. With temperatures above zero it just isn't cold enough for the snow to settle. Lets hope next week brings some freezing temperatures. For now I settled on a half hours' worth of Tacx Satori , listening to Spotify streaming away my favorite tunes and reading one of Ray Bradburys' 100 best stories. The legs felt fine.
With the weather going colder, the forecast for the coming days speaking of below zero temperatures, the chance of riding out this weekend in relatively dry but cold weather was something to look forward to. For today I settled on an easy ride on the rollers, maintaining a good pace and low heartrate and getting the legs into a recovery state.
Today saw the coming of wet and colder weather. No weather to walk out in , so I was anxious to get some exercise in when arriving home from work. I got on the Hilset on the Tacx Satori and started pedalling . I could maintain a good speed and rhythm whilst keeping my heartrate relatively low..
The weather had a dry intermezzo between 2 rain zones so I rode out with the Moots Psychlo-X for a mixed ride. Taking me around Leuven I first rode to Heverlee Park and then moved on towards Kessel Lo and Herent. The wind was playing with me as I rode along the railroad tracks to Winksele. Here I rode towards the Brusselsesteenweg and after following that a little while back towards Leuven I took a right turn towards Egenhoven . I did enjoy the nice temperatures and the sun which was piercing the evaporating clouds. The sun was also a foe when it blinded me with the refelctions on the wet tarmac from time to time. The last bit of my loop was spent riding into Heverleebos and then following the Naamsesteenweg into Blanden

Did a long mid-day walk at work and when I got home from work I decided for a 30-minute ride on the Tacx Satori. Ride went uneventful legs felt a bit heavy at the start but quickly loosened up.
Did a long mid-day walk at work and when I got home from work I decided for a 40-minute ride on the Tacx Satori. Ride went well and even though my legs felt a bit sore from yesterdays' cardio core session I could make good revolutions and was able to cycle the soreness out of the muscles.
Lots of rain today but I had planned to ride indoors anyway so around 6PM I started for a ride on the Hilset , mounted on the Tacx Satori rollers. My legs felt fine and I was feeling strong throughout the short ride.
The weather had a dry intermezzo between 2 rain zones so I rode out with the Moots Psychlo-X for a mixed ride. Taking me over Egenhoven and Leuven to Bertem, Leefdaal and back to Egenhoven. I did enjoy the nice temperatures and the sun which was shyly trying to pierce the evaporating clouds. Clouds that were hurried on by a notice-able easterly breeze.
