When I arrived home it was raining and the forecast called for scattered showers. However half an hour later it cleared out a bit so I took my bike and rode out. In the beginning there was some light rain very now and then and a very noticeable southern wind made the droplets have a lot more impact. When I turned towards the south it stopped raining and to my amazement even the sun came through for a spell that was long enough to make me finish the remainder of my ride, which took me through Opvelp, Beauvechain, Tourinnes, Hamme Mille, Nethen and then to Sint Joris Weert, the Zoete Waters , Oud-Heverlee and Heverlee. Very much the same loop as yesterday evening but with an added section in the beginning riding over Bierbeek-Bremt and Neervelp. My legs were fine and the temperature of 10 degrees C was very enjoyable.
