Well, yesterday the temps went over 30 degrees C and it was really hot, no wind. So I decided to stay in and do some huffin' and puffin'. It was so hot the leaves were falling from the trees and birds were too lazy to fly away when you approched them.
I also got me a new toy I wanted to check out and experiment with, a Garmin Edge 705 GPS. I hope my Moots is ready tomorrow so I can get a first ride in with GPS .
Today I opted for an LSD ride through Bertem, Leefdaal, Duisburg, Huldenberg, Overijse and then through Tombeek towards Wavre and Ottenburg. I rode back home over Pecrot, Nethen and Hamme Mille. The sights are those of high summer . Harvesters are harvesting the grain and the gentle warm breeze brings smells of that and also freshly-mawn lawns and bBQ attempts.
Ride Stats : 56K and 435 heightmeters in 2h16mins
