At last a dry day so I set out around 4PM for a ride on the road. I had planned to do a big loop riding first into Haasrode and further on towards Heverlee and the Pakenhof. There I would descent into Heverlee center and then make my way to the Waversebaan and ride all the way to the Zoete Waters and further into Sint Joris Weert. From Weert I turned into Brabant Walloon towards Nethen and Hamme Mille. Ascending out of Hamme Mille for a loop towards Nodebais and then back towards Tourinnes and further to Beauvechain. From Beauvechain I rode towards Opvelp and Neervelp. In Neervelp I turned towards Bierbeek and the Haasrode Industrial zone to close the loop along Heverleebos into Blanden. The weather was clement with 9 degrees C and no wind to speak of. In all a good easy ride with an average heartrate of 117bpm.
