Another easy ride on the road, preparing myself for some offroad mayhem later in the week. I wanted to check out a passage on the MTB Marathon Championship trail in Gastuche , to make sure that the singletrack just before the tunnel under the N25 is still there. And it was, ending in a trail that drops down towards Dion Valmont just as it should be. When I returned home I met another biker - he was wearing the colors of the Goeman Scott team - who recognized my outfit and demanded if I was part of the organisation of the Belgian championship. I confirmed and we chatted a bit about the upcoming race. I also noticed that there are festivities planned in Bossut in the weekend of the 27th and 28th of September, so we will have to make sure we can pass that little village on the 28th.
