Another dry and sunny day so I started out again around 5pm. On the same route as yesterday, Bierbeek to Opvelp, then Beauvechain and at La Bruyere take a left towards L'Ecluse. Passing high above Meldert and taking a right turn to Hoegaarden. In Hoegaarden climbing out to the Goudberg Geosite and then towards Oorbeek and Kumtich. My speed was a lot faster than yesterday. Legs felt better and there seemed to be less wind also. Contributing to a higher average . From Kumtich I took the wind in stride to climb to the E40. Passing that I came into Willebringen and then took the small tarmac road to Neervelp. From Neervelp I reached Bremt and then made my way parallel to the E40 towards Bierbeek and Haasrode Industrie. The last stretch along the Expressweg was a blast for my legs. They felt strong and enduring.
