A little bit of rain this morning but around noon things cleared out and it looked like it would be safe for a couple of hours to ride out. I decided to do just that and settled on the same lap as yesterday, albeit it in the reverse direction and with a loop added near the end, taking me along the Geldenaakse baan to the Expressweg and than into Blanden, instead of riding through Haasrode. The legs felt good and although the average speed was high I look upon this kind of ride as being active recuperation rides. The tension is on the muscles but with only one hour it is relatively short and helps recovery. At the same time the muscles do not suffer too much.
