Lots of rain last evening and most of the night. This morning saw me waking up to clouds and the occasional drizzle. I waited until I thought I could profit of a dry spell to get a ride in. Starting out towards Leuven, because there were no dark clouds in that direction. From time to time I was riding on wet roads but at least it remained fairly dry throughout the entir ride, not counting the spot of light drizzle. Speeding along the Sint Jansberg steenweg brought me to Neerijse where I decided to count my blessings and take a left towards Wolfshagen. From here I rode through SInt Joris Weert and past the Zoete Waters for a last loop into and out of Oud-Heverlee and Heverlee. Legs felt fine without being super. I could have done a lot more kilometers if the weather would have allowed it. Riding into Blanden brought back some drizzle. Cleaning the bike afterward was obligatory.
