Cool but sunny. That was what I woke up to this morning. It had rained quite a bit last evening so I decided for a road ride. The Heverlee road bloso came to mind. A 50K ride with quite some hills in it. The wind was blowing from the north and became quite a nuisance at times. During the ride the sun started to play hide and seek and I was glad I wore a windbreaker because it was not very warm. Arriving in Terlanen, just before tackling the infamous Moskesstraat, I halted to take a couple of rural pictures. One of the river Lane and another one of an old tractor that looked quite charming in the April sunshine

Moving on at an easy LSD pace and battling against the wind on my way from Leefdaal to Heverlee. Once past the Arenberg castle the wind was - at last - blowing in my back for the last stretch towards Blanden. Nevertheless I had a great ride.
