The weather has turned, as was expected. Still, even though the nature needed the rain and it has been falling gently these last few days, I was already aching for some dry weather. But I grabbed the occasion to rest after some hectic weeks with lots of K's and heightmeters. Today I couldn't resist the temptation any longer and I got on my bike again. But with a light drizzle outside I had to make do with the rollers. Only did a little more than half an hours' worth but I felt strangely relieved. My Moots wheel has been fixed and my Litespeed is in for maintenance of the SID fork, which had been leaking oil since the La Roche ride during the Houffalize weekend. I also left my Crossmax SL rear wheel - which has been making funny noises and rolls very stiff - for a checkup and already ordered an XTR M970 rear wheel just in case the Crossmax is doomed. The next weekend doesn't look too good weather wise and I hope to be able to ride at least one day, and if possible in the Ardennes. But on Sunday the Wavre organised ride - starting at the St-Jean School - is a very good alternative.
