Today the wind was gone and the air was crisp and open. When I got home from work I decided on an easy recovery ride, taking the Hilset BBW out for a spin. Starting off towards Heverlee Park and Heverlee and then riding through the Arenberg campus towards Egenhoven. From Egenhoven I rode to Bertem and onwards up the crest and then along the narrow tarmac road to the Weeberg where I took a left turn to follow the Neerijse Steenweg into... Neerijse. Crossing the Sint Jansbergsteenweg and then along the Wolfshaegen towards Sint Agatha Rode. Into Sint Joris Weert and onwards to Nethen and Hamme Mille in the fading daylight to close my loop riding into Blanden along the Diewegstraat and then the Prosperdreef towards the Onze Lieve Vrouwstraat. Nothing fancy, just a relaxed ride to loosen my muscles.
