Kritieken van inclusie-critici volgens ERIC-informatiecentrum
die ook toepasselijk zijn op het M-decreet
(1)only ideologically driven professionals and a few parents advocate inclusion: idem inVlaanderen
(2) inclusion is a "one size fits all" approach
(3);inclusion does not have positive outcom...es for nondisabled students :
(4) special education children need specialized services that can only be provided out of the regular classroom: gespecialiseerde ondersteuning zal ook in Vlaanderen ontbreken of gebrekkig zijn (5) school districts are implementing inclusion to save money: idem voor Vlaanderen
(6) teachers are unprepared to teach in an inclusive education classroom; (7) teachers should not be required to have children with disabilities in their classroom; (8) extra financial support is likely to erode after an inclusive program has been initiated;
(9) the "full inclusion" movement is likely to have a profound and destructive effect on public education: M-decreet zal leiden tot niveaudaling van het gewone onderwijs
