RIP Sinead
The whole world owes this beautiful, gentle creature an apology.
Literally nothing compares to Sinead. She's the true original and time proves her right.
Sinead, my all time favorite singer. She made you feel every word in every song she sang. The incomparable, Sinead. Nothing and no one will ever compare to you. She gave so much and seemed to receive so little. Way ahead of her time. A true warrior. Uncompromising in her beliefs for truth and justice for all. For those who did appreciate her, we will never forget you. Rest easy now, sweet angel!
RIP Sinead, you had an angelic voice, and your values and ethics have been misunderstood by many. Your contribution to music and the world will be greatly missed.

My sadness at the passing of Sinead is indescribable. One of the bravest tortured souls.
As a little Irish kid coming up she was my first crush, when she ripped the picture of the pope up on national tv it was the most punk thing id ever seen, it totally changed my objective on being Irish and opened so many trains of though, i still hate the catholic church, but this lady i will always love, her intelligence and empathy was striking, and always will be.

Im in love with this woman in a profound spiritual way. Have been since I first heard her pained but beautiful angelic voice on a song called Heroine. I heard the song and raced to every record store in and around Boston and found an imported cassette of The Lion and the Cobra. Her album was not yet officially released in the states. No other singer gives me chills in quite the same way that Sinead does. I truly feel the emotion in her voice, in her words and in her truth.
Sinead's the real deal. So powerful, strong and vulnerable. Thank you so much.

Beste lezers,
Ik heb deze uitzonderlijke dame gezien op Torhout, 1990, en krijg er nog steeds kippevel van. Het was water aan het gieten maar iedereen bleef recht. Zelfs het haar op mijn armen kwam omhoog.
Na haar optreden kwam The Cure. Maar na één nummer heb ik de uitgang opgezocht. Na zoiets uitzonderlijk mooi als het optreden van Sinead OConner kon de rest me niet meer bekoren.
Gelukkig had ik toen al Midnight Oil en Ry Cooder/David Lindley al gezien.
Sinead heeft geen mooi leven gehad. Hopelijk is ze nu wel op een vredevolle en rustige plaats.
