TAMPA Two-time MLB World Series Champion Johnny Damon has earned a reputation for taking the ball deep. And while he wasnt wielding a wooden bat, the MLB All-Star nonetheless knocked it out of the park in his role as the special guest host of Raw.
DX welcomed their newest mascot: Hornswoggle (PHOTOS | WATCH) Despite their differences, Triple H and Shawn Michaels finally succumbed to Hornswoggles overwhelming desire to join DX. The moment of truth came even after the two were found guilty of intentional infliction of emotional distress earlier in the evening.
Momentum had began to snowball after Big Show entered the ring, demanding to be granted a Christmas wish: That his tag team partner, Chris Jericho, be reinstated to Raw. It appeared as if Santa Claus, who had dropped by Raw, was fully prepared to grant Shows wish. Hornswoggle, however, smelled a rat and yanked off Santas beard to reveal Jericho himself.
After that revelation, the former Unified Tag Team Champions appeared determined to punish Swoggle. A Yuletide of little people, however, flooded the ring in defense of their pint-sized pal. Jeri-Show dispensed of the miniature masses until only Swoggle remained. Just as it appeared to be curtains for the little guy, DX charged the ring for the save. Afterward, perhaps moved by the spirit of the season, The Game and HBK welcomed their biggest little fan into the DX dynasty as their mascot as long as he dropped the lawsuit.
United States Champion The Miz def. Santino Marella (PHOTOS | WATCH) You better not shout, you better not cry, you better not pout, Im telling you why Santino Claus is coming to Raw. The Italian Stallion donned a Santa outfit and passed out toys to the crowd before meeting United States Champion The Miz in the squared circle. Unfortunately for Santino Claus, The Miz wasnt in quite the holiday mood and pinned his jolly opponents shoulders for the three-count.
WWE Champion Sheamus def. MVP; Sheamus vs. John Cena announced for next week (PHOTOS | WATCH) In his first match on Raw since defeating John Cena at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs for the WWE Championship, Sheamus showed his critics just what makes him so very extraordinary. The Celtic Warrior welcomed a challenge from Montel Vontavious Porter or MVP. While The Ballin Superstar has held court with some of WWEs most notable Superstars, Sheamus appeared too intense to overcome as the WWE Champion clocked his first victory as titleholder.
If John Cena has anything to say about it, it will also be his last. After the match, Cena confronted Sheamus, requesting a title match. Rather than let his emotions take control, The Celtic Warrior merely snarled at his nemesis before exiting in silence.
Having watched the confrontation, special guest host Johnny Damon arranged a title match next Monday night between the two resolute warriors.
Raw to welcome Timbaland as special guest host next week Turn up the volume and tear off the knob Timbaland will be honored next Monday night as Raws special guest host. The Grammy Award-winning record producer, singer and rapper drops in to pump up the festivities.
Chris Masters def. Carlito (PHOTOS | WATCH) Being attracted to Eve? Utterly understandable. Being sleazy and trying to steal a kiss? Completely uncool. When Carlito attempted to use mistletoe to snag a smooch from the beautiful Diva, Chris Masters felt the need to intervene. Rather than watch the two men beat their chests or in Masters case, flex his special guest host Johnny Damon arranged a match.
Despite an attempt to save face, Carlito quickly fell victim to The Master Lock. For Masters, the victory was only a prelude to a kiss. After the match, Eve pulled mistletoe from her pocket and gave her hero a nice liplock.
John Cena def. Jack Swagger (PHOTOS | WATCH) Just one week after defeating both CM Punk and Randy Orton to earn the 2009 Slammy Award for Superstar of the Year, John Cena demonstrated just why he holds the prestigious prize. Cena stepped into the ring to tackle the challenge of Jack Swagger. The All-American American put up one impressive fight, but Cena, who had vowed not to lose until he once again possesses the WWE Title, proved far too motivated and notched a notable win.
DX found guilty in Little Peoples Court (PHOTOS | WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2) After enduring weeks of legal threats, Unified Tag Team Champions Triple H & Shawn Michaels finally attended Little Peoples Court, where Hornswoggle testified in his case against the duo. The leprechaun was suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress. After a courtroom full of little people were shown videotaped evidence, such as The Games Pedigree of Hornswoggle weeks back, the judge in the case found the pair guilty.
Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry & Evan Bourne def. Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (PHOTOS | WATCH) In the war pitting Randy Orton & Legacy against Kofi Kingston and pals, The Viper and his henchmen have managed to get the best of The Dreadlock Dynamo. Tonight, however, the union of the snake appeared on decline. Kofi, Mark Henry & Evan Bourne clashed with Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase; only this encounter would leave Kofi victorious as he led by example, earning the pin for his team.
Divas Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Maryse, Alicia Fox & Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH) Professional baseball player Johnny Damon may be a free agent now, but the former New York Yankee proved that he still knows how to bring a crowd to their feet. To the delight of the Florida faithful, Damon informed them that not only would Santa be popping in to grant one lucky Superstar a wish, the first bout of the evening would be a Six-Diva Santas Little Helper Tag Team Match featuring Divas Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim against Maryse, Alicia Fox & Jillian.
With Maryse and Alicia Fox both pining for the Golden Butterfly, the pair may have focused too much of their attention on Divas Champion Melina. As a result, Kelly Kelly managed to pin the equally beautiful Maryse for the victory.

Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J Beth Phoenix def. Maria Rey Mysterio def. Batista (No. 1 Contenders Match)
LAREDO, Texas World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker walked out of WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (WWE TLC Photos) with the Holy Grail of the squared circle still firmly in his grasp. But just when it looked as if the SmackDown stage was destined for a second-coming showdown between The Phenom and Batista, the unrelenting spirit of one Superstar changed the path of Christmas future forever.
Rey Mysterio def. Batista in a No. 1 Contenders Match for the World Heavyweight Championship (PHOTOS | WATCH) Friday night began in a fury of Animalistic rage as Batista interrupted SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, demanding a rematch with World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker following the GMs controversial actions at WWE TLC. However, when Rey Mysterio emerged to challenge the irate Animal, Teddy Long declared that the two former comrades-in-arms would face each other, with the winner becoming the No. 1 Contender to the World Title, challenging The Demon of Death Valley Christmas Night! (PHOTOS | WATCH)
No matter what punishment Batista threw Mysterios way in the grueling main event, The Master of the 619 with the heart of a lion simply refused to be beaten. Then, from out of nowhere, the WWE Universe erupted into a mad frenzy as the masked Superstar overcame the odds, using a sudden small package to snatch the win from his bewildered adversary.
As a result of his huge triumph, Rey Mysterio will challenge The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship on Christmas Night.
Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, & Luke Gallows def. John Morrison, Matt Hardy & R-Truth (PHOTOS | WATCH) The self-proclaimed Chosen One Drew McIntyre returned from WWE TLC the new Intercontinental Champion. But when bedlam took over in the Six-Man Tag Team Match he was involved in, it was Luke Gallows that found the way to win. The Superstar formally known as Festus used his new-found focus to pass CM Punks 2009 Slammy Award directly to his savior. This allowed The Second City Saint to smash Matt Hardy in the abdomen and claim victory for his team.
The Great Khali def. Chris Jericho by count-out (PHOTOS | WATCH) Chris Jericho appeared before the WWE Universe in a completely disillusioned state, returning to SmackDown after a very hard week. Just one day after he and Big Show lost the Unified Tag Team Championships to D-Generation X at WWE TLC, DX tricked the previously dominant duo out of their rematch and unceremoniously kicked the self proclaimed Face of SmackDown unceremoniously off Monday Night Raw.
Jericho attempted to turn his luck around on SmackDown as he faced the returning Great Khali. However, after diving out of the ring to escape the Punjabi Plunge, Jericho decided not to return, handing his huge opponent a huge return victory.
The Hart Dynasty def. Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J (PHOTOS | WATCH) Despite an explosive effort by their opponents, David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd reigned supreme over Yang & Slam Master J with the combined help of Natalya and The Hart Attack. Once again, The Hart Dynasty utilized their amazing tag team skills and cunning quick-thinking forged in the legendary Hart Dungeon.
On Christmas Night, D-Generation X will come to SmackDown to present a special DX Christmas. But The Hart Dynasty hopes to overshadow it with their own celebration. As the next generation of Hart Superstars will challenge DX for the Unified Tag Team Championships, they promised to settle a score that has existed for more than a decade by taking the illustrious titles away from The Game & HBK.
Kane def. Eric Escobar (PHOTOS | WATCH) In her unrelenting pursuit to punish Eric Escobar for his continued barrage of colorful insults, Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero gave her ex-boyfriend a Big, Red birthday present in the form Kane. Though Escobar continued to stand up against Guerreros insurmountable opposition for the third week in a row, he fell short at the hands of his frightening adversarys vicious chokeslam.
However, after withstanding another brutal beating, Escobar still managed to ridicule Guerrero after the match, much to the delight of the WWE Universe.
Beth Phoenix def. Maria (PHOTOS | WATCH) Although the 2009 Slammy Award winning Diva of the Year Maria made a spirited effort in her match against Beth Phoenix, the irresistible force of The Fabulous Firebird dominated, paving the way for her earth-shattering Glam Slam and the victory.

His Tables Match With John Cena: Im pretty beaten up. t was pretty crazy. There were a lot of tables used, rafters used. Im a bit battered but it doesnt really matter. The fact that Im the first Irish WWE champion that overwhelms everything.
Saturday's Tribute To The Troops show: Its a big show on NBC. I have a lot of respect for the troops. I know there are a lot of Irish Americans who go to war and Ive met a lot of them. To put your life on hold to go and serve your country, well, no matter what, youve got to have a lot of respect for that.

There are conflicting reports regarding Booker T's future in the wrestling industry.
Just last week, the Wrestling Observer reported that negotiations between T and World Wrestling Entertainment had fallen through. However, this week's issue is reporting that he's telling friends he's returning to WWE to compete on RAW.
PWInsider.com also recently reported that negotiations between the multi-time world champion had fallen through and he was planning to ask for his job back with TNA.
Regarding Scott Hall coming to TNA, there are still some bad feelings from within the company after he no-showed a PPV two years ago. Hall has been receiving positive reports from independent shows and his name keeps coming up due to his history with Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. While its said that Nash has Dixie Carters ear and could possibly have Hall brought in, he has been telling people he doesnt know of any plans for Hall to return.
Alex Marvez has an interview up with TNA star "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero at this link. During the interview, Dinero talks about making the jump from WWE (where he was Elijah Burke) to TNA and signing a long-term contract extension:
"I have absolutely nothing but positive thoughts about coming here. This is literally a stress-free environment. Everyone is just like a big family. This is my first time experiencing that. The funny part is that it seems (WWE) can only push one black wrestler at a time. God forbid you push two black guys at the same time. They've always had this problem. It's something I've been in discussion about with (TNA President) Dixie Carter because it's something I feel TNA needs to tackle even though I think they do a great job with diversity. Why it didn't happen in WWE? I have no idea."

Cryme Tyme def. Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox Vance Archer def. Tommy Dreamer MVP def. Jack Swagger
On WWE Superstars this week the WWE Universe watched as MVP even the score between himself and frequent rival Jack Swagger, while three other Superstars added to their already considerable momentum.
Dont know where to catch WWE Superstars? Find WGN America in your area. Can't see WWE Superstars on WGN America in your area? Stay with WWE.com for full results, photos and video clips of all the action.
MVP def. Jack Swagger Fans of Raw are well familiar with the enmity between MVP and Jack Swagger, as the two have frequently found themselves circling one another like junkyard dogs. On the last WWE Superstars, the two ring warriors squared off with The All-American American leaving with his hand raised in victory. The previous weeks loss must have given The Ballin Superstar the motivation he needed however, as he took the fight to Swagger, ending the match with a decisive pin.
Vance Archer def. Tommy Dreamer Since his WWE debut, Vance Archer has terrorized ECW on Syfy, steamrolling through any competition brave enough to stand toe-to-toe with this intense young Superstar. Though he put up an impressive fight, Tommy Dreamer was unable to reverse this trend, falling victim to the still undefeated Archer. Can anyone hope to slow this aggressive ring warriors rise to the top?
Cryme Tyme def. Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox WWE Superstars opened with a match-up between SmackDowns robbin hoods, JTG & Shad and their opponents, Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox. Though Ziggler & Knox have both proven themselves to be formidable competitors in singles competition, ultimately it was the experienced tag-team know-how of Cryme Tyme that carried the day, as JTG pinned Big Mike Knox for the win.
