SmackDown Results: Orton's massive RKO served as a prelude to "Hell" By: Michael Burdick September 30, 2011 Tags: SmackDown, SmackDown: September 30, 2011 ST. LOUIS Randy Orton delivered a devastating RKO to World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, gaining valuable momentum as he prepared to challenge The Worlds Strongest Man in the Devil's Playground at WWE Hell in a Cell. Randy Orton vs. Christian ended in a Double Count-out (WATCH | PHOTOS) As soon as the heat grew too hot for Christian in an intense showdown with longtime adversary Randy Orton, he looked to make an early exit. WWEs Apex Predator aggressively pursued the retreating Superstar up the ramp, igniting an onslaught that resulted in a double count-out. Though the bell sounded, the action was far from over.
When Orton attempted to execute another brutal post-match assault on his disgruntled opponent, Cody Rhodes emerged, inciting a double-team attack on the nine-time World Champion. That brought Sheamus charging to the ring, Brogue Kicking the Intercontinental Champion all the way to Sunday before chasing his WWE Hell in a Cell opponent Christian into the crowd. (MATCH PREVIEW)
With the war-torn Orton laying on the canvas, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry steadily stomped his way to the ring. Avoiding Ortons RKO, the massive Superstar blasted him with the Worlds Strongest Slam. However, when Henry was climbing back into the ring after grabbing a steel chair presumably ready to induct Orton into his Hall of Pain The Viper struck, hitting The Worlds Strongest Champion with an earth-shattering RKO that sent him crashing to the canvas!
Will Randy Orton reclaim the World Title from Mark Henry this Sunday at WWE Hell in Cell? (MATCH PREVIEW) Zack Ryder def. Though Sheamus would walk away with a win over the champion by disqualification, it would be without Rhodes illustrious title in his grasp. John Laurinaitis held a controversial meeting (WATCH) WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis raised the collective suspicion of the WWE Universe when he met with several unhappy WWE Superstars during SmackDown. (MATCH PREVIEW) Sin Cara def. Heath Slater (WATCH | PHOTOS) Flying from the top rope, one of WWE's two Sin Caras defeated Heath Slater. Immediately after the match, however, the second Sin Cara appeared on the TitanTron. Ripping off his blue mask to reveal a black and silver one underneath, he made the shocking claim that the masked Superstar in the ring had once stolen his identity! He then declared that their showdown this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell will decide who has the right to be called Sin Cara. (MATCH PREVIEW) Jack Swagger def. WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne (WATCH | PHOTOS) The disorder created by Vickie Guerrero and United States Champion Dolph Ziggler at ringside gave Jack Swagger a clear advantage over Evan Bourne even with his fellow WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston at his partner's side. With the referee caught up in the bedlam, The Queen of Cougardom pushed Bourne from the top rope as he was attempting the Shooting Star Press, allowing her All-American American client to cinch in the dreaded ankle lock for the victory.
World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. The Great Khali (WATCH | PHOTOS) After a tense moment during an interview with Booker T, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry informed the WWE Universe that he will not just defeat Randy Orton at WWE Hell in a Cell this Sunday, but would also end his career. Henry then put the exclamation point on his bold statement, triumphing over The Great Khali in dominant fashion with The Worlds Strongest Slam. After the bell, the carnage continued, as Henry officially inducted The Punjabi Nightmare into his Hall of Pain. Trapping the giants leg in a chair, the massive champion dropped himself off the turnbuckle with enough force to send Khali away on a stretcher.
-- WWE removed Gail Kim's bio from their company website Friday, which would indicate that she has officially parted ways with the organization.
On August 5, Gail Kim announced on Twitter that she quit the promotion following a brief appearance on the August 1 Raw. She later indicated that WWE did not grant her release, instead forcing her to stay with the promotion for the remainder of her contract.
Kim wrote the following on Twitter this afternoon regarding the website edit: "Yeah I guess they're slow. Cuffs shouldve been off last week."
Austin Says Del Rio Not Ready To Be Champion Posted by Dave Mitchell on 09/30/2011 at 12:56 PM
During an interview with Patrick Lennon of the UK's Daily Star, WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin had some criticism for Alberto Del Rio - saying he's not ready to be WWE champion just yet.
"Well I dont think Del Rio is ready to carry that belt. Its ok for a short period of time, give him his first mini title run and try to groom him. Hes still got another year or two to go before he learns the US system.
Hes a good looking kid and I know hes been around Mexico and MMA."
Despite the fact that many WWE fans are sick of John Cena as the face of WWE, Steve Austin says Cena is the most polished performer in WWE and right man for the job.
When I look at that company right now, John Cena is the guy who anchors it all. Some people get mad because they feel like WWE shove it down your throat, but hes the main guy! Whether you love to hate him or you love to love him - you gotta respect him.
I have a lot of respect for John - hes been carrying the company for several years and he comes into work every day with a smile on his face and does all the promotional work and never complains."
Austin put over John Cena's track record of great matches and says he's probably got several more years in him on top:
I tell you John Cena has had some great matches with some great guys - sometimes his body of work gets overlooked, the guy has proven himself over and over again. I call a spade a spade and John has done a tremendous job and hes got a few years left yet. Hell keep riding that lightening bolt."

Impact Wrestling Results - 9/29/2011 From Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida Report by: Alex Barie of WrestlingNewsWorld.com
TNA's Impact Wrestling starts off with a video package of the feud between Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode. It shows Roode facing off against different members of Fortune, which was set up by Kurt Angle. It changes directions smoothly as Daniels refuses to face Roode, but he still wants to talk about AJ Styles. Styles comes out and they go after each other. It switches to James Storm. He comes out and represents Roode as he faced Kurt last week. That was the main event last week. It ends with Roode holding up the TNA World Title!
The video ends and the camera shows the Impact Zone! Just then, Sting's music hits and here comes The Icon....the insane one! Sting comes on stage and the crowd goes crazy. He makes his way down the ramp and gets in the ring. He grabs a mic and begins to speak. He says he stood in the ring not too long ago and put over Kurt Angle. He believed everything he said. Since then, Hogan brainwashed Kurt. Kurt is now the mastermind as he is trying to turn Fortune against each other. Sting says he is going to foil Angle's plan though. He calls out Bobby Roode! After the fans chant, "Bobby, Bobby", the #1 contender for the TNA World Title walks down the ramp. The crowd cheers for him. Sting welcomes him in the ring. Sting tells Roode that he has done everything he has done to get to where he is. He then says that he believes Roode can beat Kurt Angle for the title at Bound for Glory. Sting says he knows he can do it. Roode has been fighting for this spot for 13 years. Sting calls Roode a championship caliber star. Bobby can't get Kurt in his head though. He needs to be focused and ready to go and he needs to show everyone that. Roode gets on the mic and states that the past few weeks have been amazing. He says all of the support from everyone is overwhelming. He is grateful for what Sting said. Roode states he has been in the business for 13 years, but Sting has been in it longer.....but he knows what Kurt is trying to do. Roode promises everyone, including himself, he will walk out the next TNA World Champion! Sting gets excited as he jumps up and down. Roode still wants to talk though. Roode wants Sting to promise him that he will take care of Hogan. If they can both take care of Kurt and Hogan, then the company will finally get back to where it belongs. Sting likes the idea of that! But, AJ Styles' music his and here he comes! He marches his way down the ramp and quickly gets in the ring.
He gets a mic and tells Roode to take every opportunity he gets and make the best out of it. Styles hasn't had a title shot for a long time......so he tells Roode to beat Kurt!! If he doesn't, no one will know how long it would be to get another title shot.
Kurt Angle's music plays and here comes the champion. He gets on stage as he has a mic in his hand. He tells Styles that this is why he made the match-up for tonight, which is Roode vs. Styles. Kurt switches gears to Sting as he says that Sting will not get the company back as he says the past owner treated him miserably. He switches to AJ again and tells AJ that he knows the only thing he wants is a title shot.
Hulk Hogan opens a door as he enters the Impact Zone. He looks around and then puts on his sunglasses as he continues walking.

Zack Ryder Talks About His YouTube Show Posted by Dave Mitchell on 09/30/2011 at 11:50 AM
Zack Ryder was recently interviewed by Sam Roberts of NotSam.com and spoke about the popularity of his Z! True Long Island Story video series.
After his former 'Edgehead' gimmick ran its course on SmackDown a few years ago, Ryder said he was getting "zero" television time and had to take matters into his own hands to get exposure. Ryder says he hated having long hair back when he was an Edgehead - and his current "Broski" character is "100% him." Ryder says whatever he's doing is working, because he's been featured on RAW in recent weeks and is getting the biggest push of his career.
When asked about whether he's gotten heat from WWE management over his YouTube videos, Ryder said, "There wasn't any trouble, but I was definitely kind of hesitant and kind of scared. But at the same time I was like, listen, they're not doing anything with me, so if I'm going to go out, I'm going to go out swinging. All or nothing, this is my last shot. I wouldn't say it paid off, but it's finally been recognized."

Update on Matt Hardy going to rehab Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 09/30/2011 at 11:25 AM
The Pilot newspaper in North Carolina reports that Matt Hardy was released from jail after his September 14th arrest with a note of "promise to appear" because NC magistrate Charlie Smoak ordered that Hardy would only be released from custody if he underwent treatment for substance abuse, or entered rehab, which he did.
Hardy would have been placed in jail under a $1 million bond had he not went to the WWE sponsored rehab.
Gerald Brisco's son, Wes Brisco, is gone from WWE developmental. Brisco has been working in FCW in recent months. He's already starting to take indy bookings. Many people are surprised by the release.
According to ProWrestling.net, TNA Tag Champion Hernandez's contract with the company will expire soon, assuming the two sides haven't struck a new deal since the last television taping.

"Well, I'm tired of it already, so it wouldn't surprise me if some viewers get tired of it soon. Honestly, I can only do this show for so long before the charm kinda wears off. Once I get to where I want to be on TV, then there will be no need for the show, and that's a good thing."
Melina Denies Report That She Tried To Invade Raw Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/27/2011 at 05:31 PM
Former WWE Diva Melina has denied an online report claiming that she was planning to involve herself in last week's Divas Tag Team Match on Raw.
She responded on Twitter, "Ha ha! If I was going to fly ANYWHERE I'd fly to Hawaii and have fun or Vegas. Monday I was tweeting you guys and watching the Sheen Roast.
"It's funny that rumors are still active even when out of the WWE. It's outrageous and can be hurtful but I'm still on people's minds."
The report alleged that Natalya received a text message from Melinawho had a ticket to the Cleveland showasking, "If I jump KK (Kelly Kelly), you will play ball right?"
The report adds: "Natalya presumed this was a joke, but showed it to the Divas' liaison who after alerting WWE security then asked her to ring Melina to find out exactly what she had planned. The conversation, which Natalya put on loud-speaker with several members of the lockeroom present included a rambling and possibly under the influence Melina suggesting that attacking Kelly live on Raw would get her a job back as a Diva as "Vince loves reality angles."
The report then claims that Melina was spotted in line for the show with a ticket, but was turned away at the door
According to WrestleZone, Brodie Lee's contract with Dragon Gate USA has expired. It seems that while Lee could agree to a new deal and keep working with DGUSA, TNA Impact Wrestling is a very real possibility for Brodie Lee. No solid confirmation on how close or far apart TNA Impact and Brodie Lee might be from a deal getting signed. Lee has been a top name on the Independent scene for several years now. He stands at 6 foot 7 inches and his gimmick is a mean trucker with the nickname "Big Rig" Brodie Lee.

Jimmy wants to know if JTG and Darren think they are the best tag team. Jimmy says that their blood is full of tag team champions. He mentions the Wild Samoans who won the tag titles three times. Their father, Rikishi is a former tag team champion. They are future tag team champions.
Darren asks if this is a history class and then he says that no one under fifty knows who the Wild Samoans are. JTG says that he loves the business and he says that the Usos family were a complete joke. JTG and Darren get out of the ring before the Usos can do anything.

Mr. Anderson Interview: Leaving WWE, PG Era, Constant Face Heel Changes And More Yesterday, 05:38 PM Posted by 404 in Latest TNA Wrestling News & Rumors TNA star Mr. Anderson spoke with Al Castle of Pro Wrestling Illustrated for an interview that is featured in the current issue of The Wrestler/Inside Wrestling magazine. The highlights are included below. The full interview is available in the magazine, which is available on newsstands and at PWI-online.com.
On the story behind him leaving WWE: "The thing is that the chairman of that company likes guys who stand up for themselves. He likes guys who arent just pushovers, who arent just glad-handing, nonsensical yes-men, to quote another wrestler (CM Punk). And yet, it depends on what day it is and what side of the bed he woke up on. So its really a gamble. If youre a pushover and youre a wimp and you say, Yes, yes, yes, yes, youre going to be trampled over, regardless. Youre going to get steamrolled regardless of how talented you are. But if you dont, if you play it the other way, you have a chance of being successful. Like you said, I made some mistakes. I stuck my foot in mouth when I shouldnt have.
"I spoke up when I shouldnt have. None of it was with bad intentions. Whats more, this is the wrestling business and some guys get injured. The interesting thing for me is that you look at that roster and there are guys that get injured time and time again. The Undertaker is good for an injury every year or so. Steve Austins been injured. Rey Mysterio gets injured. But when you havent made the right political decisions, and youve been injured a time or two, that could be possible ammo for some of those people who arent your allies to say, Boy, hes injured all the time. Is he not reliable? And when youre not around to defend yourself, that could be your downfall."
On why his memorable cage match with Kurt Angle at Lockdown 2010: "I think Kurt and I just cared so much about it. I really felt strongly at that point that I had something to prove. And I still do, to some degree, or else I would be out of the business. And I think Kurts the same way, which is why Kurt will go out on a house show in front of a couple hundred people sometimes and have the kind of match that maybe he shouldnt be having. He doesnt have a shut-off valve. And Im kind of the same way. I think it was the right mix of action and soap opera that we needed. I watched that match over and over. It happens to be my very favorite match of my career. And I still look at that match and think, Ah, I wish I had done that differently."
On adopting his "asshole" character: "It wasnt so much a change as it was this was stuff that I had pitched years ago to Vince McMahon and he said absolutely not. The very first meeting I had with him, I pitched the asshole idea. I would bring up how Steve Austin was always telling people, There are about 10,000 people here calling you an asshole, and that was a bad thing. But what if we turned it around?
"What if we played into the notion that nice guys finish last, and so Im an asshole. I think it was Colin Powell who said, Its sometimes better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. It was one of those things that I knew in my head at the time would work. But now that I asked Vince and he told me no, I cant say it for sure. Even if I did say and it worked, Id still get into trouble. Whereas if I just went out there and said it and it worked, I could have apologized later and said I just felt it at the moment."
On whether wrestling should be PG:"I dont know how its possible to have a show about guys that want to fight each other, with half-naked women running around and all of the other stuff that we have, and have it be PG. I just dont understand how that works. It doesnt make sense to me. Me favorite years in the wrestling business were the Attitude Era.
"Maybe its as simple as theyve decided, We need it to get away from this for a while, as far away as possible, so that when we bring it back it will be a whats-old-is-new kind of thing. Our target audience is 18-34. And youre giving them PG content If youre 18 years old, you dont want to see PG stuff. You dont want to see somebody called a darn butthole. It insults their intelligence."
On the frequency of heel and babyface turns in TNA:"Heres where sometimes people dont understand the full story. There are reasons why somebody will suddenly change from heel to babyface, from a logistics concern. Maybe somebody is hurt and maybe somebody needs to fill a spot that was originally intended for somebody else. And we cant think of somebody else to fill that role, so we need you to fill that role. Part of me thinks that wrestling needs to evolve again.
"Theres this thought that, in wrestling, it needs to be black or white. Youre either a good guy or a bad guy. I dont know anybody in my life that is wholly evil or wholly good. With Breaking Bad, or Sons Of Anarchy, or Weedsyou look at these shows and theres a guy who is a chemistry teacher who sells meth. Is this a good guy? By societys standards, no. But we look at the TV show and we can sympathize with him. So I dont know what the answer is. But I do believe that sometimes in the wrestling business, its almost forced. And it can be insulting to the wrestling audience, whereas on a TV show like Sons Of Anarchy, you decide. But in wrestling, its Hey, Im the bad guy. Boo me, or Im the good guy. Cheer for me."

WWE Raw SuperShow results: Last stop before Hell By: James Wortman September 26, 2011 Tags: Raw, WWE Raw SuperShow: September 26, 2011 KANSAS CITY, Mo. As Satans Structure hung ominously over the ring, WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H struggled to keep WWE Raw SuperShow from becoming engulfed in the flames of chaos, just six days before WWE Hell in a Cell. CM Punk def. Alberto Del Rio; Del Rio assaulted rivals with a steel chair (WATCH | PHOTOS) In an incredible preview of what is to come this Sunday in their Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio vented their many frustrations with one another as WWE Champion John Cena looked on from the commentary table. The Voice of the Voiceless sealed a pinfall victory, gaining some much-needed momentum before stepping inside Satans Structure.
After the match, the Cell itself which had been hanging above the arena for the duration of the evening descended upon Cena, Del Rio, Punk and The Mexican Aristocrats intervening ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez. Punk and Cena pummeled Rodriguez with the Go to Sleep and the Attitude Adjustment respectively, then turned their attention on one another unwittingly giving Del Rio an opportunity to strike. Bashing both Superstars with a steel chair, Del Rio stood triumphant in the ring, giving his Hell in a Cell competitors a taste of things to come less than a week later inside the vile structure.
David Otunga offered legal counsel to a group of distraught Superstars (WATCH) Irate over Triple Hs decisions as COO, Christian, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, Vickie Guerrero and U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler met with former WWE Tag Team Champion and Harvard University graduate David Otunga, who offered his legal advice as the recipient of a law degree from the prestigious institution. Citing unsafe working conditions, Otunga urged the group to unite against The King of Kings.
WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom & Zack Ryder def. U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger & Mason Ryan (WATCH | PHOTOS) As Vickie frantically scoured the locker room area for a tag team partner for her clients, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler were forced to battle Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne and Zack Ryder in a 2-on-3 scenario. During the match, Vickie eventually emerged with a reluctant Mason Ryan, urging the Welsh powerhouse to join her team.
Ryan didnt exactly gel with Swagger or Ziggler, and ultimately turned on his impromptu tag team partners. Capitalizing on this justified betrayal, Ryder pinned Ziggler for the second time in as many weeks. It looks like Ziggler has even more to complain about on Twitter besides Hugh Jackmans sucker punch the week before! (MORE ON ZIGGLERS INJURY)
United States. Champion Dolph Ziggler def. Zack Ryder (WATCH | PHOTOS) Clearly, neither U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler nor Jack Swagger are vying to become Broski of the Week anytime soon. With a little help from The All-American American, Ziggler retained his star-spangled title, much to Vickie Guerreros delight. Then, as ordered by WWEs resident cougar, Swagger and Ziggler continued to attack The Long Island Loudmouth until WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom charged the ring and fought off the blond blowhards.
Since it was clear that Vickie wanted to keep both of her clients busy on WWE Raw SuperShow, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long announced that Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne would team with Ryder to face Swagger, Ziggler and a partner of Vickies choosing if she could find someone in three minutes!
WWE Champion John Cena def. Christian by Disqualification; Alberto Del Rio attacked The Champ (WATCH | PHOTOS) A lot of things have happened inside the callous confines of Hell in a Cell, but the WWE Universe has never witnessed a Triple Threat Match waged inside The Devils Playground. Despite the horrors that surely await him, WWE Champion John Cena had an air of confidence about him as he addressed the WWE Universe about his collision with Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk just six days later.
Cena locked up with Christian in a non-title showdown, but it was the verbal sparring between The Mexican Aristocrat and The Second City Savior on commentary that really enthralled our fans watching the action from home. The ringside confrontation got physical when Cena threw Christian over the announce table and into Punk. As Punk and Cena stared each other down, Del Rio assaulted The Straight Edge Superstar, then attacked Cena with an enziguri that resulted in Christians disqualification. Will Del Rios destiny be reclaimed at Hell in a Cell?
World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry assaulted The Great Khali (WATCH | PHOTOS) World Heavyweight Title holder Mark Henry was fined $250,000 for his actions on SmackDown, but it was The Great Khali who would pay an even greater price. The Punjabi Superstar motioned to the WWE Universe before his bout with Henry, The Worlds Strongest Athlete launched a devious sneak attack, cutting the goliath down to size with a Worlds Strongest Slam. At this rate, Henrys Hall of Pain is going to need a new wing.
Beth Phoenix & Natalya def. Divas Champion Kelly Kelly & Eve (WATCH | PHOTOS | MORE KELLY KELLY) Beth Phoenix is intimidating enough when shes in a good mood, but when shes angry, watch out. After failing to capture Kelly Kellys Divas Championship for a second time at Night of Champions in her hometown of Buffalo, N.Y., The Glamazon teamed with Natalya to take on the blonde bombshell and her longtime pal Eve. Beth and her Hart Dungeon-trained cohort were relentless, and scored a victory over the so-called Cinderellas when Beth hit Kelly Kelly with the Glam Slam.
Later in the night, it was announced that Beth will once again challenge Kelly Kelly for the Divas Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell. Will the Phoenix rise in New Orleans? (MATCH PREVIEW)
Cody Rhodes won a 10-Man Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship (WATCH | PHOTOS) Still feeling the effects of Randy Ortons brutal attack with the ring bell three night earlier, Cody Rhodes disrespect toward The Game nearly cost him the Intercontinental Championship. After outlasting eight elite Superstars in a COO-mandated Battle Royal for the illustrious title, the twisted and bitter Rhodes found himself face-to-face with Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior seemed primed to add the Intercontinental Title to his impressive list of accolades, but Christian interfered in the match, distracting his Hell in a Cell opponent and allowing Rhodes to send The Great White over the top rope with the aid of his protective mask.
Not content with merely costing Sheamus the title, Christian further brutalized his rival with a sinister post-match attack that sent The Celtic Warrior careening into the turnbuckle.
Superstars criticized WWE COO Triple H (PHOTOS) Further explaining the firing of The Miz & R-Truth one week earlier, Triple H continued to lay down the law. Fining World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry a $250,000 fine for putting his hands on Jim Ross and sending Jerry The King Lawler through the announce table on SmackDown, The Game then issued a stern warning to the entire locker room, emphasizing that no single Superstar is bigger than WWE. (WATCH: WHY MIZ & TRUTH WERE FIRED)
Taking umbrage with The King of Kings leadership ability, Vickie Guerrero, U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and Christian confronted the COO, demanding justice. Justice was served swiftly by The Cerebral Assassin, but not in the manner that any of these dissenters would have liked.
Sick of Christians persistent whining for one more match, Triple H instead gave him three. Per The Game, the disgruntled Superstar would face Sheamus in six days at WWE Hell in a Cell, Randy Orton this Friday on SmackDown and WWE Champion John Cena later in the night!
As for Ziggler, he would defend his title against the very Superstar that defeated him (with Hugh Jackmans help) one week earlier on WWE Raw SuperShow none other than Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder.
Finally, Triple H passed judgment on Rhodes, who would immediately be forced to defend his Intercontinental Title in a 10-Man Battle Royal!
Chris Jericho Says WWE Stars Steal His Ideas Posted by Dave Mitchell on 09/26/2011 at 01:06 PM
Former WWE star Chris Jericho was recently interviewed by Duane Doogan of the Wrestling Voice radio show. Jericho had some controversial comments regarding WWE talent stealing his moves & ideas:
"There seems to be a lack of respect for the forefathers who came in and did it first and it's not just [CM] Punk, it's a whole litany of guys from Miz to Cody Rhodes to Mason Ryan to Sin Cara to Kelly Kelly, everybody is stealing moves, looks, ideas. Brian Pillman once told me if you want to make it in wrestling you have to do something that nobody has done before and nobody is doing that and they are coming off as second rate copies of Chris Jericho, and that's maybe why these guys aren't striking and I watch it and think, 'Seriously, again?'
"A couple of years ago you had 'Miz 4, John Cena 0', where did that come from? Conspiracy Theory, where did that come from? Best in the World, where did that come from? Wearing suits, talking slow, using big words, using certain moves, you know Miz used the word "troglodyte" a few weeks ago and I'm like seriously? If there ever was a word associated with Chris Jericho that would be it. These guys have to start thinking of their own stuff and some times I see some of them and I'm like oh come on. It's not like it's influenced. At least give credit where credit is due."
- Matt Hardy has some new videos up on his YouTube page. The first, posted on September 22nd and taken before he left for rehab, asks for fans to send in their demo videos for his wrestling school that he plans on opening:
The second video, posted on Hardy's birthday this weekend but taken before he left, has Hardy thanking his fans for birthday wishes:
WWE will reportedly no longer air WWE Superstars via WWE.com and YouTube.com. Company officials pulled the program due to poor viewership. The series will continue to air internationally.

Steve Austin's Thoughts On Sting Vs. Hogan "Stone Cold" Steve Austin sat down for an interview for The Sun. In it, he talks about the Hogan vs Sting match that takes place at Bound For Glory:
Quote
Ill be honest, I hadnt heard about Hogan v Sting. That will be interesting too, I mean Hogan had back surgery didnt he? They are both great guys. Im a fan of Stings and he can still go with the best of them. I know Hogan well and he still has it when he needs it. It will be a very interesting night at the office that one and I will most certainly be watching Bound For Glory to see how it works out.
I get annoyed when people say that such and such should retire, or they shouldnt compete due to injury or age. I know how it works and many of these guys find it hard to stay out of the ring. Hogan, for example, was put on this world to be there. There may often be money involved when guys step back in the ring, but its more about their need to be there than the financial rewards. The other thing is that there are so few people coming up through the ranks who can match the success of guys like Hulk, Flair, Sting or myself. Cena may be the only one who has reached that level Ive yet to see another hit that peak yet.
