SPOKANE, Wash. Just over two weeks before Cyber Sunday and one week after premiering as the highest-rated show in MyNetwork TV history (Read full story ), the WWE Universe saw several Superstar challengers converge on WWE Champion Triple H and each other.
WWE Champion Triple H vs. Big Show No Contest (WATCH | PHOTOS) Following Big Shows knockout victory over Undertaker at No Mercy (PHOTOS), SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero awarded him a chance at Triple Hs WWE Championship (PHOTOS). Vladimir Kozlov and Jeff Hardy both made it clear that they would challenge whoever emerged the winner. But, just when it looked as if Big Show might dethrone The King of Kings, The Phenom suddenly appeared inciting a brawl with The Worlds Largest Athlete which extended all the way to the back. When the Moscow Mauler charged in to attack the war-torn champion, Hardy joined the fight. To the surprise of the WWE Universe, after The Game and the high-flying Superstar combined forces to knock Kozlov out of the ring, Hardy dropped Triple H with a Twist of Fate.
Jeff Hardy def. Montel Vontavious Porter (WATCH | PHOTOS) After coming up just short of winning the WWE Championship at No Mercy, Jeff Hardy proved that he still has what it takes to reach the top of the mountain, scoring an impressive victory over MVP with a Swanton Bomb. But, the victory was short-lived thanks to the invasion of Vladimir Kozlov. When Hardy repelled himself from the turnbuckle in an attempt to battle his attacker, the Moscow Mauler blasted him in midair with the full force of his granite-like Russian cranium.
R-Truth def. United States Champion Shelton Benjamin (PHOTOS) In the culmination of a fast-paced, non-title brawl, R-Truth executed a quick counter maneuver in order to pin Shelton Benjamin for the second time. Does R-Truth now have what it takes to remove the "gold" out of the Gold Standard?
Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Festus def. Kenny Dykstra (PHOTOS) WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo teamed up with Jesse & Festus to take on Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder and the recently unpacked Ryan Braddock & Kenny Dykstra. Although Festus seemed to take quite a liking to special guest ring announcer Maria, that didnt stop the Corn-fed Colossus from slamming Dykstras face into the mat, picking up the win as his partners cleared the ring of their other opponents.
Brie Bella def. Natalya (WATCH | PHOTOS) As Brie Bella proceeded to disappear under the ring during her match with Natalya, the third-generation Divas B.F.F., Victoria, followed the newcomer under the ring, only to receive an unwelcome greeting. Hornswoggle lunged out from beneath the canvas at the former Womens Champion and chased her away. When Bella reemerged, she was on Natalyas side of the ring. The mysterious Diva then climbed back under with a devious smile, only to pop out on the opposite side and apply a crucifix for the win.
The Great Khali wins Handicap Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) Still infuriated by an interview gone bad with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville (Watch Interview and Khali's Kiss Cam on Raw) (Read full story ), The Great Khali hoped to alleviate his frustrations on Scotty Mack, Aaron Bono, and Nelson Creed in a Handicap Match. But, when two of his opponents retreated out of the ring at the mere sound of Khalis mighty roar, the third Superstar was defeated with one blow to the head. Afterwards, the Punjabi Giant attempted to prove that he was a superior entertainer to Knoxville, hosting an impromptu, post-slaughter Kiss Cam where he preceded to kiss one lucky fan of the WWE Universe in Spokane.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that former WWE and TNA wrestler Scott Hall has been arrested. Apparently he got upset during the comedy roast of The Iron Sheik. Jimmy Graham, a comedian who has wrestled, and made a remark to Bill Apter, "Bill Apter, you're deaded than Owen Hart." Hall, who had been drinking, was furious about the disrespectful joke and threw punches at Graham until he was contained by security. More information will hopefully come out soon.

-- One of the reasons WWE put Carlito together with his brother Eddie (Primo) in a tag team is because they believe it will help improve Carlito. Eddie is said to have a great attitude and works hard. They are hoping it rubs off on Carlito, with the idea that he won't want his little brother to outshine him in WWE.
Last week, new WWE Mexico President Bosco Attolini Pesqueira said WWE is looking to sign some of the biggest wrestling names in Mexico. Pesqueira noted WWE now has its own offices in Mexico and its television on Televisa and TV Azteca, which gives them equal, if not better exposure, than both AAA and CMLL. He said the TV deals with make WWE bigger and entice talent to sign with them. Anyway, WWE has signed someone. The first signing is Dos Caras Jr., who has been in talks with WWE for a few months and was close to signing in the summer, but passed on the offer.
Caras Jr. said he's leaving on bad terms with CMLL, but will fulfill a few more bookings, with his last night being this Friday night at Arena Mexico in the main event. Caras Jr. still holds the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship, and while it's been known for a few months that he may be leaving, they never set up a program for him to lose the title.
One of the reasons he's leaving CMLL for WWE is because in his eyes, CMLL didn't seem too care if he left or not. After WWE made him an offer over the summer, CMLL never tried to convince him to stay. Caras Jr. said the only reason he's fulfilling all of his dates for CMLL is because he's a professional and plans to honor his contract until it expires.
Caras Jr. said CMLL is in bad shape, noting the unhappy wrestlers and lackluster attendance. Caras Jr. plans on vacating the title and said CMLL thought he would take the belt with him to WWE. However, WWE isn't going to recognize the title of another organization they have no relationship with.

However, due to excellent merchandise sales, there appears to be no current plan to break up LAX.
NEWS AND VIDEOS FROM THURSDAY'S "iMPACT!" - THE FINAL COUNTDOWN TO SUNDAY'S BOUND FOR GLORY
There are several news items to report from Thursday's "iMPACT!" as TNA Wrestling prepares for our biggest event of the year this Sunday on Pay-Per-View with "Bound For Glory"...
- During the broadcast, Mick Foley called out Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle for a face to face to go over last minute instructions. In a big surprise, Jarrett produced Kurt Angle's gold medal (which AJ Styles had won recently). Jarrett gave the medal back to Angle and both superstars shook hands in mutual respect before their huge bout this Sunday! However, before Angle left the ring he had a sinister parting shot for Jarrett, telling him to apologize to his children for him - that Jeff wouldn't be coming home after the PPV!
- TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe and Sting had their official contract signing for Sunday's huge main event for the gold. After the signing (and some final comments), Joe shook Sting's hand, but then pulled "The Icon" in for a vicious headbutt! Before Sting could retaliate, TNA Security hit the ring.
- Christian Cage tried to work out his differences with AJ Styles to start the broadcast, but Booker T interrupted their talk...and ended up making things worse! As a result, Jim Cornette came out and made Booker T vs. AJ Styles for later in the broadcast with Christian Cage as special referee. Following the bout, Cornette announced the superstars would all battle each other in a three-way bout this Sunday night!
- Consequences Creed won a four-way X Division number-one contenders match to earn a shot at the X Championship this Sunday against titleholder Sheik Abdul Bashir!
- After a challenge from Rhino, it was announced that "The War Machine" will team with ODB and Rhaka Khan to take on The Beautiful People and Cute Kip this Sunday on PPV!

Unfortunately for Jamie Noble, he paid the price with a Worlds Strongest Slam. Mark Henry dominated Jamie Noble in a match that Noble was backed into during a verbal exchange with Henry earlier in the night in ECW General Manager Theodore Longs office.
After the match was over, the Worlds Strongest Man continued to punish Noble by brutally slamming him two more times to the canvas. But, Hardy didnt like what he saw and rushed to Nobles aid. However, Hardy paid a heavy price as Henry punished him with a Worlds Strongest Slam and a crushing 400-pound splash. After the carnage, Hardy was left motionless on the canvas next to the fallen Noble.
Finlay & Tommy Dreamer def. Mike Knox & Jack Swagger (PHOTOS) Finlay pinned Mike Knox, giving the Belfast Brawler and Tommy Dreamer the win over Knox & The All-American American Jack Swagger. Hornswoggle intervened in the action to help his father by hitting Knox with a Tadpole Splash. Finlay followed up by bashing Knox with his shillelagh to get the pinfall. The victory was sweet revenge for Tommy Dreamer, who was defeated by Mike Knox last week on ECW and gutwrench powerbombed by Swagger after the bell. (WATCH)
SmackDown Diva Victoria, 37, posted a blog on her MySpace page yesterday in which she mentions hanging up the boots in the future. Victoria wrote: "I have been doing my best to lay the Smackdown every Friday night. I hope everyone followed us to MyNetwork. Again, I am very thankful to have had a long and successful WWE career. Although between you and me, I think I have one more championship run left before I hang up the wrestling boots. What do you think?" Victoria also mentions that her "Black Widow" custom car shop recently did cars for two WWE Superstars.
As you could see from RAW last night, WWE has apparently done away with online voting for this year's Cyber Sunday PPV. In previous years, fans could cast their votes free of charge as many times as they pleased, but this year they can only vote by sending a text message that carries a $.99 charge plus standard text rates. The total number of votes is expected to be much lower than previous years as a result, however WWE will most likely still make a decent amount of money from the voting system.
- Before RAW in Seattle tonight, Dolph Ziggler came out and tried to charm the crowd. He went on to defeat Rowdy Charlie Piper aka Charlie Haas in a nice bit of comedy for us fans.
- The arena is looking hot and packed with fans. A lot more signs than usual I have noticed. Me and my buddy clearly spotted Vince McMahon near the curtains earlier as soon as we got in. We were one of the first ones in.
-- SmackDown's debut on MyNetworkTV drew a 2.4 rating based on the fast nationals. This is by far the highest rated show in the history of the network and officials are said to be thrilled.

Batista will face Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship at Cyber Sunday with a special guest referee. Before the nights main event even began, World Heavyweight Champion and self-appointed referee Chris Jericho made a couple of changes to the match. Hoping to stack the deck against Batista, he brought out William Regal as a special timekeeper and Randy Orton as a guest commentator. Despite being surrounded by enemies, The Animal fought back, and was able to defeat JBL when Raw General Manager Adamle emerged with a second official.
Following Batistas victory, Adamle set another match for Cyber Sunday: Batista vs. Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship with a special guest referee. The WWE Universe will choose between Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin. (STORY | WATCH | PHOTOS)
Kelly Kelly def. Jillian; Cryme Tyme and The Miz & John Morrison argued at ringside. After The Miz & John Morrison took their place at the announce table, Jillian came out to the ring and attempted to serenade the audience with Smells Like Teen Spirit by Seattles own Nirvana. Before she could finish, however, she was interrupted by the entrance of Kelly Kelly, accompanied by Cryme Tyme, who also made their way to the announce table. Kelly continued to show off her in-ring abilities as she competed against the tone-deaf songstress. During the match, an argument broke out between Cryme Tyme and Miz & Morrison, spilling over from the rivalry seen in their WWE.com video series. Jerry Lawler announced that Santino Marella will be defending his Intercontinental Title at Cyber Sunday, but that his opponent would be chosen by you, the WWE Universe. (STORY)
Shawn Michaels def. Lance Cade with a flurry of shots from a steel chair. Shawn Michaels came to the ring for his No Disqualification Match against Lance Cade suffering both physically and emotionally. Not only was the World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match at No Mercy one of the most brutal of his entire career, but he only narrowly lost the title, due to interference from Lance Cade. HBKs former student, battling without Jericho at his side, reaped what he sowed on Raw though, as Michaels took revenge and battered Cade relentlessly with a steel chair. (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Kane & Mark Henry def. Rey Mysterio & ECW Champion Matt Hardy when the Big Red Monster chokeslammed Hardy. All four of these Superstars had hard-fought matches at No Mercy, only 24-hours prior to their tag-match tonight. Rey Mysterio in particular was still suffering from his match against Kane, in which he was clubbed with a steel chair while attempting an aerial maneuver. The Big Red Monster again showed how vicious he could be, as he chokeslammed the ECW Champion to win the match. (WATCH | PHOTOS)
World Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase def. Kofi Kingston with a Russian Leg Sweep after Cody Rhodes distracted the Jamaican Superstar. As usual, World Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase came to the ring with fellow multi-generational Superstars, World Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes & Manu. DiBiases opponent, Kofi Kingston, wasnt without support either, as he was joined by CM Punk. Unfortunately, even with the former World Heavyweight Champion at ringside, the Priceless third-generation Superstars were too much for Kingston. (PHOTOS)
Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella & Womens Champion Beth Phoenix def. Jamie Noble & Mickie James when Santino rolled up Noble after a distraction from The Glamazon; Noble attacked William Regal at ringside. Prior to the match, 2008 King of the Ring William Regal came to the announce table with Layla to observe the Mixed Tag Team Match. Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella and his partner in Glamarella emerged next, and the Italian Superstar continued to use the Honk-A-Meter to brag about his Intercontinental Title streak currently at all of seven weeks. In spite of Mickie and Jamie Nobles valiant efforts, Glamarella dominated the match, but Noble managed to take out his frustrations afterward by attacking Regal, who had recently stolen away the lovely Layla, in spite of Nobles attempts to woo her. (PHOTOS)
Batista hit World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho with a spinebuster. Tonight, Batista will face JBL with his No. 1 contender status on the line. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho opened Raw, announcing that he would be running the show while General Manager Mike Adamle was in a meeting with WWE Executive Vice Presidents Shane and Stephanie McMahon. Taking advantage of his role, Jericho placed Shawn Michaels in a No Disqualification Match against Lance Cade. Soon after doing so, he was interrupted by No. 1 contender Batista, ready to face him for the title that very night. Jericho refused and insulted The Animal, who responded by hitting the World Heavyweight Champion with a spinebuster.
After Jericho recovered, he set a No Mercy rematch between Batista and JBL, with The Animals No. 1 contendership on the line, and the World Heavyweight Champion himself acting as referee. (PHOTOS)
The following bulletin was sent out on the MySpace page of former ECW World Champion The Sandman:
Ladies & Gentlemen,
I Just Spoke With Sandman & He Wanted Me To Let you All Know That After Speaking With Tommy Dreamer & Having A Long Talk He Has Decided That After 20 + Years In The Pro Wrestling Business That It Is Time To Hangup The Boots & Call It Quits. He Would Like To Thank All Of You Fans That Have Supported Him Throughout His Time In & Around Wrestling. His Last Match Date Will Be Announced In The Coming Weeks. You Can Still Book Him In These Few Weeks. BUT After That He Said He Is Done. He Has A TWO Month Old Child & A Girlfriend To Look After So Now It Is Time To Step Out of The Spotlight.
It appears that Chris Jericho did indeed lose a tooth during his ladder match against HBK tonight. We reported that he had been busted open, but upon reviewing the tape more closely, you can see that he lost a tooth on the left side of his mouth towards the middle of the bout. We'll have more on his injury status as it becomes available.
Rey Mysterio was telling one of the guys to pull his knee pad down, which may indicate that he did hurt his knee during the fall, which would make sense as Rey just returned from a previous knee injury.
No word yet on why Matt Striker was replaced by Jerry Lawler in the opening ECW bout.
