According to Dave Meltzer, it is being reported that Rey Mysterio may have been injured at tonight's WWE house show in Lubbock, TX. Mysterio slipped on the ropes going for his 619 finisher. The source says that Mysterio was attended to by medics for about 10 minutes before being helped to the back and it looked like he injured his left leg. It doesn't seem likely that this was an injury angle since it happened at a house show.
Val Venis (Sean Morley) wrote this on his Facebook page today:
Andrew was a VERY good long time friend who both Matt Bloom and I share many great memories. Andrew's passing is still so shocking. I am still waiting for Johnny Ace or Christian or Edge or Jericho or somebody to call me back in Japan and tell me it was all a mistake. It does not feel real. Andrew "TEST" Martin along with Matt Bloom and myself became like the three amigos as we traveled the road together and shared many great memories. Last night before our match, as Matt and I absorbed the news and tried to make sense of it all, the silence was broken with Matts words which I could not have said better myself. "You know what Val, all the friends we have lost, their deaths really sucked and saddened. But this one HURTS DEEP!"
Drew(burg), I will always remember the great times we had and the memories you provided. You will always have a special place in my heart and my life. I promise, you will never be forgotten.
SmackDown play-by-play announcer Jim Ross posted a blog on his official website remembering Andrew "Test" Martin, who was found dead in his Tampa apartment last night.
Ross is quite familiar with Martin as he hired him alongside two other Canadians in Adam "Edge" Copeland and Jay "Christian" Reso in the late 1990's.
"I hired Andrew in the same class with his other fellow Canadians Edge and Christian in the late 90's in an outstanding group of young talent whose advanced training was over seen by future WWE Hall of Famer Dory Funk and by Tom Prichard," Ross wrote.
Ross recalls a conversation with Martin at WrestleMania XXIV last year in Orlando. The two spoke at length regarding his real estate endeavors and his plans to become a physical therapist. Martin also told Ross he saved his money and only wrestled "when he wanted to."
"Andrew had done well in WWE, saved his money, made some good investments, and told me he only wanted to wrestle when "he wanted to" which the randomly scheduled international tours would allow him to do," Ross wrote. "He did not express interest in the American indy scene and was genuinely excited about the prospects of the aforementioned physical therapy career."
In a bit of previously unreported news, Ross reveals that Martin took up World Wrestling Entertainment's offer to enter a rehabilitation facility in West Palm Beach, Florida last August. At the suggestion of others, his former employer reached out to him to see if he needed some help handling some alleged personal issues that he was rumored to have been experiencing.
"The rumors of Andrew's issues were true and he was afforded the opportunity by WWE to attend The Hanley Center Rehabilitation facility in West Palm Beach, Florida for several weeks beginning in August of 2008," Ross wrote. "Andrew successfully completed the WWE funded program and was highly regarded by the Hanley Center with being such an asset to them after completing the program of which Andrew took seriously, according to the facility. Since being released from the facility after successfully completing the program, Andrew had been doing well in his 12 Step AA program and was in contact with WWE with regular phone calls. Ironically, Friday was the day for his regularly scheduled "touching base" but when called his voice mail box was full."
It should be noted that Ross was not aware of Martin's alleged problems and stint in rehab until recently.
Ross concludes his post with the following note remembering Martin: "I will remember this young man as a bright, intelligent individual and am thankful that my last conversation with him was so positive and that he was excited about his future in a new field. Our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans and may God rest his soul."
Hey all! I just got back from Tokoyo Japan. I have been to Japan several times but this was by far the best trip there for a number of reasons. First I must thank Mr. Aso who treated me beyond first class and is a total gentleman as well as a great human being himself. My trip there was first class all the way. Thanks to Mr. Ena for making my flight the best flight I had ever been on. Mr. Aso flew me first class on United airlines who I must thank the ladies on board, who kept feeding me steak and chicken every two hours. It ended up being about a 24 hour travel day. When I landed I was greeted by Mr. Yabe another kind and stand up man. We chatted for a bit and waited for Vader. For those of you who do not know Leon (Vader) he is a total gentleman. I met Leon about ten years ago when I was training at Brets house he was kind to me then and was nothing but a gentleman to me now and we became good friends on this trip. Leon is a stand up guy and I want to thank him as well for a wonderfull trip. Mr. Aso put us up in the Keio Plaza hotel which is one of the nicest hotels in tokoyo. I want to thank Mr.Tiger Kihara who is one of the funniest guys I have met and a master at wrestling impressions and kept me laughing the whole time. Thanks to Golds gym who took great care of me there. I worked my first match with Lance Hoyt. Lance is green but has a lot of promise and under the right guidance can have a great match because he is a good athlete. He needs to be in the WWE were I think he could learn and reach full potential...thanks Lance. My second match was with a Japanese shooter named Nagai{hopefully I spelled that right} A totally diferant style but we had a great match together. He works almost as stiff as I do...lol. I was very humbled by the reception from the Japanese fans. The Japanese people are so respectfull you can't help but love it there. I loved Japan for so many reasons and hope to makee it my wrestling home. Japan is so beautifull and full of things to do, I could see myself living there it was that much fun. Thanks again to Mr. Aso your a real gentleman and number one in my books. On March 16th, I will be heading to Europe for two weeks in France, Sweden and Belgum. This is with the crew from Ireland. These guys hold a special place in my heart because they stuck by me when I was going thru some hard times and we all ended up becoming good friends. Great guys and fantastic people to work for, from Martin, to Mick, Joe, Jamie, Grant, Patty, Justin Shape, Lizzy, Anne, Ken, the whole crew are just great and I'm looking forward to this trip. That's all for now..talk to you soon Andrew
WWE Diva Kelly Kelly posted a message on her MySpace page this morning regarding the death of her former boyfriend, Andrew "Test" Martin.
"You were my world my best friend the one i always ran to u were always there for me..what happened to our plan...Why did god take u away from me...my heart is always with u and u only..I know your in heaven watching over me now my angel..."
The two broke up sometime last year, but remained friends.

A neighbor reported that she could see into his apartment through a window and that Mr. Martin appeared motionless for several hours.

World Wrestling Entertainment® has been made aware of the passing of Andrew Martin. The WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Martin family. Mr. Martin was under contract with WWE at various time periods and performed under the name "Test." He last performed for the WWE in February 2007.
According to multiple reports, former WWE wrestler Andrew "Test" Martin passed away yesterday at his apartment in Tampa.
He was just four days shy of his 34th birthday.
Tampa police confirmed the death in the condo, but wouldn't indentify the name. However, numerous sources within wrestling have confirmed it to be him.
No details regarding his death were reported.
In February 2007, Martin was suspended by World Wrestling Entertainment due to a violation of the company's drug testing policy and released from his contract shortly thereafter. Martin made a few appearances for TNA Wrestling later in the year and often talked about retiring from the business, but has made several appearances overseas since then, including working a match in Japan last month. Martin was scheduled to head to Europe for a wrestling tour in Europe on Monday.

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - This week on SmackDown, undertakings of intense redemption, matrimonial fallout, extreme family dysfunction, triumph teamwork in defense of gold, and qualification against all odds all served as hazard signs on the epic road to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.
Undertaker def. Vladimir Kozlov (WATCH | PHOTOS) After shocking the WWE Universe by getting pinned by The Moscow Mauler two weeks ago, The Deadman redeemed himself with absolute fury, crushing Vladimir Kozlovs undefeated record on SmackDown with the destructive force of his Tombstone Piledriver. The decisive victory gives The Phenom a firestorm of momentum in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, and echoes his haunting message to opponent Shawn Michaels that it can be hell trying to get to heaven. World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Kofi Kingston (Non-title) (WATCH | PHOTOS) An emotionally affected Rated-R Superstar resurfaced for the first time since John Cena revealed security footage on Monday Night Raw of his wife - SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero - kissing Big Show. And from the moment Edge entered the ring, he seemed distracted, as if his thoughts were completely consumed by the state of his marriage and his WrestleMania opponents in the World Heavyweight Championship Triple Treat Match (Match preview). Kofi Kingston, however, only had revenge on his mind after The Ultimate Opportunists attack at No Way Out that cost him his Elimination Chamber spot and allowed Edge to capture the title. But despite the determined Raw Superstars thirst for retribution and an extremely hard fought match, Edges sharpshooter was Ja-makin Kofi crazy enough to tap out.
Matt Hardy Tells All (WATCH | PHOTOS) After referencing Jeff Hardy's suspension and alluding to the fact that he may have caused the awful events that have continued the black cloud hanging over Jeff Hardys head the stairwell attack and the car and pyrotechnics accidents an incensed Matt Hardy produced from his pocket the burned dog collar of Jack, Jeffs dog that died in his house fire. Without music or fireworks paving the way for his entrance, Jeff made a subdued, yet determined entrance. Before long, Jeff finally gave in and attacked Matt with reckless abandon. Although Matt looked as if he might show some remorse in that instant, the traces of a menacing smile crept on his lips as he walked up the metal ramp, implying otherwise. Later, the shocking announcement rang forth that Jeff and Matt Hardy will settle sibling rivalry at WrestleMania. (Match preview)
World Tag Team Championship The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (World Tag Team Championship Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS) Two weeks after The Colon brothers successfully defended their WWE Tag Team Championships against Miz & Morrison, the Dirt Sheet duo returned the favor in spades. As both Primo and Miz were being taken out of the action, The Shaman of Sexy took full advantage of the turmoil, hitting Carlito with the Moonlight Drive for the win. After the match, the Bella Twins once again abandoned the WWE Champions and left with the victors.
Finlay def. The Brian Kendrick (Money in the Bank Qualifying Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS) Despite being sucker punched by Ezekiel Jackson before the opening bell and falling prey to his numerous distractions thereafter, Finlay ultimately denied The Brain Kendrick his finishing maneuver of the same name. And after The Belfast Brawler powered his way over The Kendrick with the quick and painful Celtic Cross, Finlay stood in triumph, knowing that he had captured the last coveted spot in the WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match. (Match preview)
United States Champion Shelton Benjamin & Chavo Guerrero def. Montel Vontavious Porter & R-Truth (Tag Team Match) (PHOTOS) The tension surrounding the United States Championship has been reaching epic proportions over the past couple months. And it only promises to become more intense during the weeks to come. After The Ballin Superstar threw the interfering Chavo Guerrero from the ring, The Gold Standard struck with Pay Dirt, allowing him to reign supreme over his fellow WrestleMania Money in the Bank participant (Match preview).
Womens Champion Melina & Maria def. Divas Champion Maryse & Michelle McCool (Divas Tag Team Match) (PHOTOS) Any time an athlete of Womens Champion Melinas caliber visits SmackDown to team with Maria against Divas Champion Marie and Michelle, the WWE Universe has to expect the unexpected. But when Michelle wouldnt extend her arm to tag into the match, Maryse got more than she bargained for, falling to Melina and her inside cradle. After the bell, Maryse and Michelle decided to keep the action going, brawling in a whirlwind of Diva brutality.
The reason for Marella's absence this week is because he was apparently not brought to Monday's RAW/ECW taping in Jacksonville. Marella was nowhere to be seen on either program. He also didn't appear at house show events over the weekend.
As reported earlier, one way WWE is looking to cut costs is by not flying in every single active talent on the roster to the weekly tapings unless they actually have plans to use them. In the past, WWE would fly in everyone on the roster whether they had plans to use them or not. Last week, Cryme Tyme weren't brought to the weekly RAW taping for the first time since their return to the company.
According to Dave Meltzer, WWE is also down on Marella's character right now.
While many former women's wrestlers have been contacted to participate in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at Wrestlemania XXV in Houston, WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young has not (at last word).
Young wasn't even aware of such a match until a friend of hers called and asked her if she was going to be in it.
It's been speculated that after her fall during her last wrestling appearance in November (she threw a few forearms, got dizzy, and fell down), officials are now realizing she's far too old to perform in the ring. Young is 86-years-old for those keeping score.
Nonetheless, Young will likely be brought in during WrestleMania weekend because she always is she just won't be competing.
Two more former WWE Divas in Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald and Terri Runnels will not be taking part in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXV in Houston.
While Greenwald has no plans to participate in the match, she will be signing autographs at the Axxess event during WrestleMania weekend. In other Greenwald news, she will be departing on Monday for a two-week trip to Afghanistan.
Runnels has plans to join Greenwald on the trip as she will be taking part in the 10-day Divas of Wrestling Goodwill Military Tour. Regarding the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania, Runnels has no interest in wrestling women.
"Female matches are not my thing," Runnels commented.
Runnels still has WrestleMania-related plans though. Following the trip to Afghanistan, she will be hosting an unofficial WrestleMania XXV event during WrestleMania weekend in Taylor, Michigan.
Vince McMahon isn't a big fan of ECW wrestler Christian, according to one former WWE employee. It's no secret that the WWE chairman doesn't view him as a "star."
"He cares more about the doormat at his house than Christian," said the former employee. "I don't understand why you re-up with the guy and then don't do anything with him."
In another Christian note, he told friends TNA's final offer to him was a five-year deal worth $2.5 million for a certain number of dates per year. However, one company source disputes the contract offer as Christian would have jumped at it.
The two time NWA World Heavyweight Champion made it clear to TNA president Dixie Carter that his lack of faith in the creative team was a big reason for his departure from the organization.

The severity of his current ailments are unknown. Edge has been working some house shows recently so whatever injuries he is battling arent bad enough to keep him on the road. That being said, hes only been working tag matches at those house shows in order to keep his work load in the ring light.
- The current plan for the upcoming WWE draft is to strengthen RAW's roster and to further develop talent on Smackdown. Of course, plans can change on a daily basis.
Former WWE Superstar Kizarny (real name Nick Cvjetkovich) posted a blog on his MySpace account (www.myspace.com/theoriginalsinn) yesterday and he doesn't appear to be upset over being let go by World Wrestling Entertainment earlier in the week. He doesn't have plans to quit wrestling either.
"I just want to take a moment to thank the Rasslin Universe for your kind words and support for me both in the WWE and beyhond!!! I am not gonna complain or be bitter," Kizarny wrote. "I will simply prove myself even more as I am One of a Kind. Btw I wasn't kidding in my Feizirst Bleizog when I told you that I suck at technology, I almost threw my laptop from my porch into the waves of Wizard Beach because just as I had finished typing my Seizecond Bleizog I hit the wrong button and poof... GONE!!!"
Kizarny added that he's "too stupid and crazy to ever quit" the wrestling business and he's going continue to entertain the fans whether he's in a "SmackDown ring or not." Kizarny plans on taking indy bookings soon and taking "this rasslin-sideshow on the road."
When John Laurinaitis called Jackie Gayda to invite her to participate in the 25 Diva Battle Royal at Wrestlemania, she initially thought that he was calling to say that her husband Charlie Haas was being released.
WWE Intercontinental Champion John Bradshaw Layfield, 42, has been telling people backstage that he will likely be retiring from the ring by May. His back problems that caused him to originally retire in 2006 have resurfaced and his retirement from WWE appears imminent. Layfield is not listed in the May house show bookings that have been released.
As noted earlier, Layfield recently claimed he would be doing something historical that would shock the wrestling world at Wrestlemania XXV. Regarding his claim, it's been speculated that JBL will retire as the Intercontinental Champion, something nobody with the exception of Trish Stratus as WWE Women's Champion at the 2006 Unforgiven pay-per-view has ever done.
In an interview with the Between the Ropes radio show last night, WWE developmental wrestler DH Smith admitted he'd like to be part of Randy Orton's Legacy faction.
"There's a lot of talk about a lot of things," Smith said. "It's one of those things where you can't exactly believe everything you read on the internet... I think I'd be a perfect fit. I'm big, I'm strong, I've got the ability. I'm working at getting the personality. I've been getting a lot more confident and a lot more mean in the ring. Whether I'm with the Legacy or not, I can prove on any brand that I can carry my own legacy."
Smith also offered his comments on the New Hart Foundation not materializing in WWE.
"Nothing really happened," Smith said. "There was a slot for Tyson Kidd to go on ECW. He's a great wrestler. He's one of my great friends. He's gone up there. It wasn't one of those things that I decided... He's doing good. I hope he does really well with Natalya. Maybe I'll join him someday in ECW, who knows?"
Smith also commented on growing up as the son of "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, being stretched by Stu Hart, his training, his weekly schedule in Florida Championship, and more.
Steve Austin has joined the cast of Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables. The film is about a team of mercenaries who attempt to overthrow a South American dictator.

Christian wins Tri-Branded Money in the Bank Qualifying Battle Royal (WATCH | PHOTOS) Fans in Jacksonville were treated to a huge main event in the Land of Extreme, featuring Superstars from ECW, Raw and SmackDown*.
Early in the match knowing the huge threat that The Great Khali posed the ring full of Superstars worked together by piling their bodies against each other and pushing the Punjabi Giant up and out of the ring. And in a stunning betrayal, Cryme Tymes JTG eliminated his own partner, Shad.
In the end, though, it came down to a battle between Christian and Chavo Guerrero to determine who would be going to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania. With both Superstars entangled in the ropes engaged in a struggle for victory it was Captain Charisma who prevailed, sending Guerrero to the arena floor. Christian now has an opportunity on the Grandest Stage of Them All in Houston, TX. (WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match preview)

WWE Tag Team Champion Primo def. World Tag Team Champion The Miz (Non-title) (PHOTOS) The dislike between WWE Tag Team Champion Primo and World Tag Team Champion The Miz was evident from the sound of the opening bell. The disdain was made even clearer as WWE Tag Team Champion Carlito and World Tag Team Champion John Morrison joined the ECW announce team to trade verbal barbs while helping call the match.
But, it was Primos Backstabber that abruptly stopped all the talking. The Mizs loss was made even more bitter as Primo & Carlito sauntered away from the ring with the beautiful Bella Twins on their arms. This Friday on SmackDown, Miz & Morrison will have a chance at revenge. But, if WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito and Primo can pull off a win, they become Undisputed Tag Team Champions.

Kurt Angle then suggested if no one took up Bonaduce's challenge that he would find him a TNA star to wrestle on the show.

Chris Jericho in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match Divas Champion Maryse def. Womens Champion Melina (non-title match) JBL def. CM Punk to become the new Intercontinental Champion
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. With just a few weeks to go before the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, Raw was the site of some huge news regarding The Grandest Stage of Them All. In addition to Kofi Kingston earning a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, John Cena also found himself becoming a participant in a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. But while Raw was in Florida, the most shocking event of the night took place in St. Louis, where Randy Orton watched the program from his home. His viewing experience was interrupted however, when The Legend Killers WrestleMania opponent, WWE Champion Triple H, busted into the Orton household and attacked the 2009 Royal Rumble winner.
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. WWE Champion Triple H in a Handicap Match via forfeit; The Game invades Randy Orton's home (PHOTOS | WATCH) As announced earlier in the night, Ortons Legacy, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase prepared to team up against WWE Champion Triple H in Raws main event. But when The Games music played, the WWE Champion was nowhere to be seen. Rhodes & DiBiase demanded that they be declared the victors, since their opponent was a no-show. The two multi-generational Superstars received their wish, but their victory was interrupted by Randy Orton, making his voice heard from his home in St. Louis.
The 2009 Royal Rumble winner was furious that Triple H would fail to show up for a match, and worried that he could no-show his WrestleMania title defense, preventing Orton from winning the championship. As he ranted, the doorbell began to ring, with increasing urgency. Eventually, a furious Triple H smashed his way through the door. The Game chased Orton through the house, terrifying his wife and father along the way, before throwing his WrestleMania opponent through a window. As the fight spilled over into the front yard, police officers arrived and took the WWE Champion away in handcuffs.
Rey Mysterio, Finlay & Christian def. Kane & World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison (PHOTOS) A little less than a week after World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison faced off against Finlay & Christian as part of a Six-Man Tag Team Match on ECW, they met once again on Raw. The Belfast Brawler and Captain Charisma were joined by Rey Mysterio as their opponents teamed up with Kane for another Six-Man Tag Team Match. Although he was at a size disadvantage, the Ultimate Underdog was able to prevail, pinning Morrison for the win.
Chris Jericho challenged Ric Flair to a match on Raw; Koko B. Ware announced as part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009 (WATCH) After losing a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match as a result of Ric Flairs involvement, Chris Jericho was irate. The nefarious Superstar challenged the WWE Hall of Famer to come out of retirement and face him in a match the following week on Raw, where he promised to end the Ric Flair story.
Following Jerichos tirade, another member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009 was announced: Koko B. Ware.
Kofi Kingston def. Chris Jericho in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match, due to the involvement of Ric Flair (PHOTOS | WATCH) On Raw, Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho faced off with a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at stake. Both Superstars were eager to do whatever it took to earn the right to perform on The Grandest Stage of Them All, as winning the Money in the Bank Match results in a World Title Match at any time of the challengers choosing. During the contest, Hall of Famer Ric Flair made his way out to the entrance ramp and distracted Jericho, taking revenge for the nefarious Superstars recent spate of insults and attacks perpetuated on numerous WWE Legends. The "Nature Boys" involvement was just the opening Kingston needed, as he pinned Jericho to earn his spot at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.
John Cena was added to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania World Heavyweight Championship Match; Big Show was revealed to be carrying on an affair with Vickie Guerrero (PHOTOS | WATCH) SmackDowns World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Big Show appeared on Raw with the General Manager of both shows, Vickie Guerrero for their World Heavyweight Title Match Contract Signing. Both Superstars put aside their enmity to sign the paperwork, shake hands and agree to make history at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania. But their moment was interrupted by John Cena, who just a few days earlier on SmackDown, had whispered something in Guerreros ear, capable of stopping Edges wife in her tracks. At the former World Heavyweight Champions urging, Vickie announced that the contest would become a Triple Threat Match in order to include Cena.
When both The Rated-R Superstar and The Worlds Largest Athlete appeared utterly shocked at the development, Cena offered them an explanation against the General Managers wishes. He claimed that he had confessed his love for Vickie Guerrero, prompting her to give him a World Heavyweight Title opportunity as a way of expressing her own amorous feelings toward him. Edge was infuriated by Cena making moves on his wife, and told Vickie to tear up the contract. Cena then revealed the truth: He didnt have feelings for Vickie, but he knew someone else who did. Showing the footage he presumably used to pressure the General Manager, Cena revealed that Big Show and Vickie had been carrying on a relationship behind her husbands back.
Divas Champion Maryse def. Womens Champion Melina (non-title match) (PHOTOS | WATCH) As a result of their altercation on Raw last week, Divas Champion Maryse came to Raw to face off against Womens Champion Melina. But Maryse wasnt traveling alone, as she brought a group of SmackDown Divas with her, including Maria, the Bella Twins, Eve and Michelle McCool. In spite of the presence of a group of Raw Divas including Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes, Layla and Jillian, the Divas Champion managed to pin Melina for the win. Following the match, all of the Divas took to the ring, where they squared off before assaulting one another with little regard to their home brand.
After the match, Raw's interim General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, announced that there would be a 25-Diva Battle Royal at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, featuring Divas from Raw, SmackDown, ECW and WWE History.
Randy Orton was interviewed in his home; WWE Champion Triple H will face Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase in a Handicap Match later in the night Three nights earlier, Randy Orton and his Legacy appeared on SmackDown, where they brutally attacked WWE Champion Triple H. But while Ortons WrestleMania opponent was scheduled to face Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase in a Handicap Match as Raws main event, The Legend Killer rested comfortably in his St. Louis home. In his interview with Michael Cole, Orton claimed that his attack on Triple H showed restraint, despite the fact that it violated his own stipulation banning physical contact between himself and the champion. The viper-like Superstar went on to state his plan to continuously chip away at The Game until they face one another for the WWE Title at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.
JBL def. CM Punk to become the new Intercontinental Champion (PHOTOS | WATCH) As announced prior to the match, JBL had been petitioning Vickie Guerrero in recent weeks for an Intercontinental Title opportunity. On Raw, the shows interim General Manager finally gave in, and placed the Longhorn Loudmouth in a match against Intercontinental Champion CM Punk. In spite of The Straightedge Superstars impressive technical ability, he wasnt able to compete against the unscrupulous tactics of JBL, who raked Punks eyes and hit him with a clothesline to win the title, which could very well play into his promise on his WWE Universe blog to do something historic at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.
Undertaker appeared on Raw to confront Shawn Michaels (PHOTOS | WATCH) Raw opened with Shawn Michaels taking to the ring, trumpeting his intention of beating Undertaker at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, breaking The Phenoms historic 16-0 winning streak. But Mr. WrestleMania was interrupted by a bone-chilling gong, heralding the arrival of Undertaker himself. The Deadman pointed out that while HBK has an impressive history at WrestleMania, he has known defeat at The Biggest Spectacle of Them All, while Undertaker has not. Michaels was unflappable though, again proclaiming that hell walk away victorious before leaving the ring. Pay-Per-View Schedules

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Smackdown Superstar Kizarny as of today, March 19, 2009. WWE wishes Kizarny the best in all future endeavors.
As we reported over the weekend, John Bradshaw Layfield wrote in his WWE Universe blog that hes bought into Ohio Valley Wrestling, the former WWE developmental territory that trained the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista and Brock Lesnar. JBL is looking into OVW as a potential project for when he retires from the ring in the next few years.
Theres talk that JBL is looking into promoting Mixed Martial Arts events in the Louisville area as well and with the announcement today of OVW launching the Vyper Fight League MMA promotion, it looks like JBL might be involved. With the fledgling territory now financially stabalized, the door remains open for WWE to work with OVW again in a developmental capacity in the future.
While this has yet to be announced by World Wrestling Entertainment, the company released SmackDown wrestler Ryan Braddock sometime within the last few days. He had been employed to WWE for just over three years.
Sans a few appearances on SmackDown last year, Braddock spent the majority of his tenure in the company in developmental.
Braddock, who wrestled previously on the independent circuit as Jay Bradley, signed a developmental contract with WWE in December 2005. Shortly thereafter, he debuted in Deep South Wrestling as "The Monster of the Midway" Bradley Jay. During his time in DSW, he won the Deep South Heavyweight Championship on three occasions. When WWE ended their relationship with Deep South Wrestling, he was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling to continue his development.
On May 16, 2007, he debuted in Ohio Valley Wrestling under the name Jay Bradley, defeating former OVW Heavyweight Champion, Chet the Jett. He defeated Paul Burchill and Idol Stevens in a three-way match to win the OVW Heavyweight Championship on June 1, 2007 at OVW's first Summer Sizzler Series event at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville to become the first man to hold both the OVW and DSW heavyweight titles. On June 15, 2007, at Ohio Valley Wrestling's third Super Summer Sizzler Series event of the year at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, he defeated Idol Stevens to retain the OVW title. He would lose the title to Paul Burchill on June 27, 2007.
Meanwhile, he also wrestled dark matches for both the Raw and SmackDown brands in hopes of getting called up to the main roster. Occasionally, he made appearances on Heat as well.
Braddock would get his call-up to the main roster in August 2008, but only did enhancement work and wasn't given any semblance of a push. Although, he did actually garner a win on television.
On the September 19, 2008 edition of SmackDown, Braddock competed in a one fall match-up with Festus, who was accompanied by Jesse. Braddock won the match as a result of a disqualification, after Jesse and Festus wrapped him in bubble wrap and duct tape. This was the unspoken "moving to MyNetworkTV" storyline during the final days of Smackdown on The CW. Unfortunately for Braddock, this was his final television appearance in WWE.
Following his disappearance, Braddock returned to Florida Championship Wrestling to work on his persona. He cut his hair, grew sideburns, got a makeover and introduced some sort of "Elvis" gimmick. He worked a few WWE live events under the persona, but it failed to click with the audience and was soon dropped.
Most recently, Braddock had been working a gimmick in Florida Championship Wrestling where he would sit at ringside and enter notes on wrestlers into his laptop during their matches.
WWE appears to be in the midst of another cost-cutting initiative. Braddock is the eight name to depart from the organization within the past three weeks, following Scotty Goldman, Manu, Freddie Prinze, Jr. (creative team writer), John Carle (creative team writer), Afa Anoa'i, Sr. (on company payroll), The Boogeyman, and developmental wrestler Kaleb O'Neal.
Johnny Prime And Joe Curtis defeats Trent Baretta and Cavlen Croft Alex Riley defeats Tristan Delta Drew Mcintyre defeats Mike Hutter Johnny Curtis and Tyler Recks defeats Ryback and Sheamus O'Shaunessy (curtis and recks still tag team champions)
