TNA Wrestling and Robert Roode have agreed to terms on a new contract reports ProWrestling.net. If Roode has yet to officially sign the new deal then the belief is that it is merely a formality right now.
According to earlier reports, WWE had interest in signing Roode. Roodes deal with TNA had been set to expire in either March or April of this year. Roode was trained in his hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, by fellow Canadians Val Venis and Shane Sewell. He worked for indy promotions all over Canada as Bobby Rude before being signed by TNA. He debuted in the company as a part of the Team Canada stable in the summer of 2004. After the break up of Team Canada, Roode began referring to himself as "TNA's hottest free agent" and transitioned into his Robert Roode Inc. gimmick with Ms. Brooks before joining James Storm as one half of the team Beer Money Inc. It appears the interest from WWE never led to a formal contract offer.

FRESNO, Calif. Just two days before No Way Out, four of the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match participants fought it out in a Fatal Four Way, while another made his heroic return to SmackDown. But, in the midst of the pomp and circumstance, the opportunistic WWE Champion once again found a way to come out on top and steal the thunder from all of them.
Triple H vs. Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Vladimir Kozlov (No contest) (Fatal Four Way Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS) WWE Champion Edge placed the blame for the neck injury he claimed to have sustained one week ago at the hands of Undertaker squarely on the shoulders of his tag team partner, Big Show. SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero wasted no time announcing that she would not risk her husband competing until No Way Out this Sunday. However, after Big Show interrupted them and exchanged harsh words with the champion, Guerrero had no trouble informing him that he would be in a Fatal Four Way Match with three of his Elimination Chamber opponents: The Game, the Moscow Mauler, and The Phenom. (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In the critical climax of the grueling back and forth battle between four of WWEs most dominant Superstars, the Ultimate Opportunist suddenly dove into the action, spearing The Worlds Largest Athlete to snatch the momentum heading into No Way Out.
Jeff Hardy returns to SmackDown (WATCH | PHOTOS) Seemingly recovered from the shocking attack by his brother Matt Hardy that cost him his WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble several weeks ago, Jeff Hardy made his return to SmackDown. Although he acknowledged that the events of recent weeks have affected him deeply, he told the WWE Universe that he intends to look forward, and is 100 percent focused on regaining his gold at No Way Out this Sunday.
Dont miss the punishment, as all six Superstars battle for the WWE Championship in the dreaded 16-foot-high, 10-ton ominous steel structure of the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out this Sunday. (Match Preview)
Montel Vontavious Porter def. Chavo Guerrero (DQ) (Photos) After Chavo Guerrero eliminated MVP in last weeks SmackDown Battle Royal, the reinvigorated Franchise Playa was out for some payback. But, just as he was rallying from a hard-fought match, United States Champion Shelton Benjamin emerged from nowhere to deliver Pay Dirt, getting some retribution of his own after losing to MVP in a non-title match last week. However, this gave MVP the win by disqualification, continuing his winning streak. The self-proclaimed Mexican warrior, Chavo Guerrero decided to add insult to injury, hitting the unconscious Ballin Superstar with the Frog Splash and raising his own arms in victory.
World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (Photos) Carlito and Primo failed to get Nikki & Brie Bella flowers for Valentines Day. But, Miz & Morrison did not. This prompted a match to determine which tag team champions would take out the Bella Twins on Valentines Day night. With the referee distracted, Miz threw Primo from the top rope, setting up Morrison for the victory. Following the loss, Nikki & Brie exited ringside with the Dirt Sheet duo, leaving Carlito & Primo without the win or the Divas.
Maria def. Michelle McCool (Photos) After being attacked weeks ago by Michelle McCool, Maria was out to even the score. Michelle, however, had every intention of continuing her vicious wrath upon SmackDown Divas, targeting Marias injured ankle throughout their match. After her loss in debut singles action to McCool last week, Eve charged down the entrance ramp to help her friend Maria in any way she could. Michelle immediately started bullying the 2007 Diva Search winner, but Eve would not back down. However, the distraction created when McCool threw Eve into the ring allowed Maria to roll the former Divas Champion up for the three-count.
R-Truth def. Ezekiel Jackson (Photos) Despite a powerful onslaught by the intimidating Jackson, R-Truth ended Ezekiels undefeated record, reversing The Brian Kendricks associates ura-nage finisher for the quick pin.
As Jeremy Borash announced on last night's iMPACT!, a mobile text update was sent to subscribers talking about a new tag team from Japan coming to TNA. The update said the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion would be sending one of their tag teams to TNA shortly with the "TNA contract" up for grabs at an event this Sunday. New Japan Wrestling's holding an event this Sunday featuring a match pitting Yujiro & Tetsuya Naito vs. Ryusuke Taguchi & Prince Devitt vs. Jado & Gedo vs. Milano Collection AT & Taichi Ishikari. The winner of the match will be working some TNA dates. A few other TNA wrestlers are scheduled to appear the event including IWGP Tag Team Champions Team 3D, Kurt Angle and TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc.
PWInsider.com is reporting that aside from the talents who were released from TNA this past week, including Petey Williams, Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave, no other talents whose contracts are expiring soon are expected to be leaving the company. Alex Shelley, Robert Roode and Chris Sabin all have deals expiring soon, but it's being reported that TNA is aggressively working out new deals with these stars and they are expected to re-sign with the company. It's also being reported that this time it appears as if WWE has not offered any counter-deals to TNA talents whose contracts are coming to an end. With the exception of Christian, who debuted with WWE this past week, there appears to be no interest in any current TNA whose deals are nearing an end.

* Kurt Angle grabs a mic and cuts a promo on Sting. Angle orders Sting to get in the ring later tonight and lay down for him so he is able to win the TNA Championship. Jeff Jarrett comes out and tells Angle that is now how it's done in TNA. Angle tells Jarrett to stay out of Main Event Mafia business. Sting grabs the mic and says he will see Angle in the ring later tonight.
* A video is shown of Jeremy Borash interviewing TNA Legends Champion Booker T backstage. Booker goes into his locker room and AJ Styles is there waiting on him. AJ lays out Booker.
* Scott Steiner b. Petey Williams in a Silver Headgear on a Pole Match (Julio assured me, he's not kidding). Steiner won by grabbing the headgear. We're assuming that Williams is no longer allowed to wear it. After the match, Samoa Joe comes on the big screen and says Joe is going to kill you.

The Main Event Mafia minus Booker T comes out and pulls them apart. Angle grabs a mic and says it's now a war and it's personal. Angle says that he and Sting will fight next week, one-on-one, with no fans in an empty arena.
- They say that Brett DiBiase, who works in WWEs developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling, is the spitting image of his brother Ted, who is on the RAW roster. That could work against Brett in the long run unless the plan is to eventually have them work together as a brother tag team.
- Apparently WWE has interest in one-half of the TNA Tag Team Champions, Robert Roode. Roodes current deal with TNA expires in either March or April of this year, according to Dave Meltzer.
It looks like third generation talent and former WWE developmental Diva Lacey Von Eric will be posing for Playboy Magazine. Lacey logged into her official MySpace on 2/4/2009 and posted a message that read: Playboy next Thurs. at 12:15! Wish me luck! Im scared !!
Assuming next Thursday meant this coming Thursday, it sounds like Lacey is either going to meet with officials from the magazine or going to do her shoot. Lacey was signed to a WWE developmental deal back in August of 2007 and worked a few dates with Florida Championship Wrestling, even losing her debut match to Natalya Neidhart. Lacey was released from her WWE developmental deal in late 2007. Since then she has concentrated on modeling and worked a few independent dates here and there.
Lacey has mentioned wanting to pose for Playboy in media interviews from the past and was even rumored to be Miss November 2007 but that never worked out. If we hear anything else on this, it will be passed on.
During tonight's edition of ECW on Sci Fi, General Manager Theodore Long blew off a discussion with Jamie Noble to talk to a wrestler by the name of Tyson -- who was accompanied by SmackDown Diva Natalya. They discussed his background of training in the Stu Hart's legendary "Dungeon." Tyson then directed a one-liner towards Noble, saying he would send the "big dog" back to the pound.
Following the commercial break, Tyson, under the name Tyson Kidd, beat the one and only Bao Nguyen in his ECW debut. Kidd hit a spinning kick and then followed it up with a springboard flying elbow before pinning Nguyen. Following the bout, Noble walked onto the stage and clapped.
Kidd is longtime Hart family friend T.J. Wilson. Wilson signed a contract with World wrestling Entertainment in November 2006 and had been in developmental ever since. Wilson has a wealth of wrestling experience as he has been grappling since 1995 when he was only fifteen years old.
For the past few months, there had been talk of bringing Wilson and longtime friend DH Smith up to the main roster as The New Hart Foundation with Natalya as their manager. As recently as December, officials had given thought to placing them on SmackDown to feud with WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito and Primo Colon, but they went with the already established The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson instead. Shortly there after, Smith and Wilson lost the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships and then broken up.
The team broke up after Smith went to the creative team on his own and requested to be brought on board for the Legacy. Officials had plans to add him to group, but those plans cooled off after the sudden twist on Raw a few weeks ago involving Randy Orton and Vince McMahon. Now Smith is back in a state of limbo and it is unknown as to when officials will finally call him up to main roster.
With Wilson on ECW, Natalya has been transferred from the SmackDown roster to manage him. Natalya is close to Wilson as the WWE Diva has been dating him since November 2001 and the two have lived together for approximately six years.
In recent months, Natalya had done little of note on SmackDown and was being left off television more often than not. Her strong initial push in the company came to an end last July at the hands of Michelle McCool in a match to determine the first WWE Divas Champion at the Great American Bash pay-per-view. Soon after, officials started having her put over less experienced Divas on the roster such as The Bella Twins and backstage announcer Eve Torres.
In a case of turnabout is fair play, Smith appeared to be headed for a major role in the company, leaving his close friends behind to fend for themselves. Now Wilson and Natalya have stable roles in the company whereas Smith has been left to fend for himself in developmental.
As if April couldnt possibly get any bigger WWE.com has learned that eight days following the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, WWE will shake things up once again, with a 2009 WWE Draft that will commence live on Monday Night Raw, on USA Network.
With that, what can our Superstars, General Managers and you, the WWE Universe, expect from the Draft when Raw commences live in Atlanta, Ga. April 13? Details will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead, though one thing is certain: as per Mr. McMahons statement a year before, it will be time to shake things up around here!
This past Mondays WWE RAW with the return of Hall of Famer Ric Flair and Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker scored a 3.4 cable rating, based on data by Nielsen Media. The two weeks in a row of 3.6 ratings for RAW have ended this week as the show did hours of 3.34 and 3.50. Stay tuned later for more RAW ratings data.

-- If you recall, a blonde women's wrestler by the name of Madison Rayne wrestled Awesome Kong on Impact a few weeks ago. TNA has signed her to a contract, so she will be a regular going forward. Rayne wrestled at both Impact tapings this past week. Rayne also wrestles under the name Ashley Lane on the indy circuit. Her real name is Ashley Simmons and she's been wrestling since 2004.
-- TNA officials have confirmed that Stevie Richards is joining the company. Richards is said to be close with Terry Taylor, the company's Director of Talent Relations.
Cryme Tyme member Shad Gaspard is said to be the on bubble, which could affect JTG's standing in the company if the company doesn't want to push him as a singles wrestler. Gaspard was originally slated to participate in the Royal Rumble match a few weeks ago, but officials pulled him as a message to improve.
John Laurinaitis, WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Relations, recently had a face-to-face meeting with Gaspard specifically telling him the company was unhappy with his lack of progress. Gaspard has been training at the Florida Championship Wrestling school in between road trips.
Gaspard has always been slow when it comes to picking things up. While he's actually improved greatly, it is because he started out so slowly that he's now only below average. This is one of the reasons why he is never used in singles matches and his ring time is generally kept short in tag matches with JTG doing most of the work. Had it not been for the Cryme Tyme gimmick, it is unknown if Gaspard would have been called up to the main roster in the first place.
At tonight's TNA Impact taping in Orlando, Petey Williams lost a "loser leaves town" match. We can confirm that this will be Williams' last match for the company as he is being released for real.
We have also confirmed that Lance Hoyt/Rock is also done with TNA.
More TNA releases are expected, but have not yet been confirmed.[/
Drew Mcintyre defeats Kris Logan DJ Gabriel W/ Alicia Fox, Kizarny and Ricky Ortiz defeats Lawrence Knight, Kaleb O'Neil and Tyson Tarver W/ Byron Saxton Angela defeats The Girl From Mexico Joe Henning defeats Ryan Braddock FCW champion Eric Escobar defeats DH Smith for the FCW championship
T.J Wilson debuted on ECW under the name Tyson Kidd, managed by Natalya. There had been talk of Natalya switching brands over the past few weeks and that turned out to be the case. This is also a big shot at DH Smith as he had gone and asked Vince personally to be a part of the 'Legacy' angle. This upset both T.J and Natalya and in the end they both were called up to the main roster faster than DH Smith was. That's actually quite funny in several backstage ways.
World Tag Team Champion The Miz def. Tommy Dreamer Tyson Kidd def. local competitor Christian def. ECW Champion Jack Swagger (non-title)
FRESNO, Calif. Just days before ECW Champion Jack Swagger was set to defend his title against Finlay at No Way Out (Match preview), the cocky, young Superstar called out Hornswoggle. After Christian promised Swagger hed challenge him or Finlay for the ECW Title after No Way Out, Swagger told Christian hes no threat to the All-American American. Christian then leveled Swagger, and moments later, ECW General Manager Theodore Long told Swagger hed be facing Christian in non-title action that night.
World Tag Team Champion The Miz def. Tommy Dreamer (PHOTOS) After being mocked last week on ECW on Sci Fi by World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison, Tommy Dreamer was seeking revenge. OAKLAND, Ca. When Raw steamrolled into the Golden State with just six days left until No Way Out, precarious fault lines both old and new were exposed and earth-shattering events registered a 6.9 on the Oh-My-God-Did-You-Just-See-That! scale.
Undertaker vs. Randy Orton (no contest); Shane goes Coast-to-Coast on Rhodes Undertakers presence at Monday Night Raw was meant as a rebuke for Randy Ortons insolent behavior toward Stephanie and Shane McMahon the week before. At the Raw General Managers request, The Deadman was to punish Orton for his attempt to punt Stephanie in the head. Unfortunately for Undertaker, Ortons Legacy henchmen, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, had other ideas. The two interfered in the proceedings, which triggered involvement by Shane. The younger McMahon ran in and attacked Orton, who fled the ring. Shane then sent a message, slamming DiBiase with the Coast-to-Coast as Orton looked on. (PHOTOS | WATCH)

Mark Henry def. Shawn Michaels by disqualification; JBL antagonizes HBK Shawn Michaels frustration appears ready to boil over. Thanks to his employer, JBL, Michaels was forced to face down the challenge of Mark Henry in what JBL referred to as a tune-up match. A clearly aggravated HBK ignored the referee as he attacked Henry, earning a disqualification.
After the match, The Showstoppers No Way Out opponent reminded him that the two will battle in an All or Nothing match. If Michaels wins, JBL pays him off and hes free of any further contractual obligations. If, however, he loses, Layfield owns Shawn Michaels name and likeness. In one last tweak at HBK, the Longhorn Loudmouth ordered HBK to bring his wife Rebecca to their match, so that she can watch him lose. (PHOTOS | WATCH)

Ric Flair returns to WWE; Flair punches Chris Jericho in face For everyone packed inside Oaklands Oracle Center, the return of 16-time World Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was undoubtedly a memorable thrill. Well, for almost everyone.
Flair returned to Raw to confront Chris Jericho after the cocky Superstar disparaged a host of WWE Legends the previous week. Not only did Jericho interrupt the Nature Boy as he addressed the crowd, Jericho told Flair that he missed the point of his friend Mickey Rourkes movie The Wrestler, that Flair was an embarrassment for not staying away from wrestling after his retirement.
The Nature Boy, as one might imagine, had heard enough. His annoyance manifested itself in the form of a well-thrown fist to Jerichos face. For his part, Jericho immediately slid from the ring and nursed his jaw, glaring at the Hall of Famer as he walked away.
The legendary Von Erich family has been confirmed to be inducted into this year's WWE Hall of Fame. Other names confirmed for induction this year include "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, "Cowboy" Bill Watts, and Terry & Dory Funk, Jr.

- Jamie Noble defeated WWE developmental talent TJ Wilson in a dark match prior to tonights edition of WWE RAW from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. John Morrison defeated Goldust in another dark match before tonights RAW.
According to several WWE superstars that were at the house show in Victoria, there was a mob of fans that were not only going after Chris Jericho but other wrestlers as well. This group of fans were apparently surronding the cars of wrestlers as they were trying to leave the arena. The fans would start pounding their fists on the cars and security wasn't doing much of anything. One wrestler said: "never leave the car... that was the mistake Jericho made."
World Wrestling Entertainment has signed yet another second generation talent to a developmental deal. Tavita Fifita, the son of former WWF and WCW star Haku, signed last week with the company and will be starting with Florida Championship Wrestling shortly. Fifita was trained at the Team 3D Wrestling Academy.

Ashley Massaro is apparently hinting towards a possible return to World Wrestling Entertainment. In a blog posted on her MySpace account today, the former WWE Diva said she spoke to Johnny Ace (John Laurinaitis, WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Relations) this past week. Massaro wrote: "Happened to speak to Johnny Ace this week. Hmmmmm, let yall wonder about that one...hehe." 'The Dirty Diva' was released from her WWE contract on July 9, 2008. A week prior to her release, she announced that she had asked to be let go from her contract due to her daughter being sick.
The WWE is officially weighing in on the Chris Jericho brawl in Victoria, BC yesterday, by releasing the following statement to TMZ.com:
"After leaving a live event in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday evening, Chris Jericho's car was attacked by a mob when he was stopped at a stop sign. Unable to proceed, Chris Jericho exited his car to ask the crowd to clear a path so he could continue through the intersection. A man and a woman physically and verbally assaulted Mr. Jericho. Arena and WWE security arrived to establish enough order to allow Mr. Jericho to re-enter his vehicle and depart. The local police arrived minutes later. Mr. Jericho was unharmed in the incident. The WWE is working with local authorities who are investigating the incident to identify the man and woman who fled the scene."
An article on timescolonist.com has an update on the Chris Jericho incident from this weekend. The woman who was struck by Jericho, 20 year-old Ashley Levey, had this to say about the incident:
I didnt assault anyone. I was assaulted.
Levey and her boyfriend were apparently arrested but ended up being released. According to the article, Levey wants Jericho to be charged with assaulted. Levey also said that Jericho made racist comments towards her boyfriend who is South Asian.
This afternoon after the WWE house show in Victoria, my girlfriend and I went to see the wrestlers leave the arena (this was my girlfriend's first WWE event and she wanted to see them leave). The following is exactly what happened right in front of me and about another 50 wrestling fans who happened to be there are well:
Chris Jericho exited the building, and walked over to his white rental vehicle. The crowd watching him leave was heckling him, but he was ignoring it. He gets in his vehicle and drives out of the arena parking lot, right past the crowd of us. As Jericho stops at a stop sign, a fan runs into the street and starts banging on his rental vehicle. At this point about 50 people rush into the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic in several directions, with no police and very inadequate and incompetent security (no WWE security guards period). My girlfriend and I were literally in the very front of the crowd, and this all went down literally five feet away from us.
Chris Jericho opens the door to his vehicle in the middle of the road, and the fan shuts the door back on him. Jericho then gets out of the vehicle completely, and punches the fan in the face! This prompts another fan to jump in (he was friends with the first) and attack Jericho, and Jericho scuffles with the second guy. At this point, a woman who knows the second guy who attacked Jericho starts to jump in and get in Jericho's face (because he was fighting her friend).
This is where the Save on Foods Rent-A-Security Guards stopped standing around watching this happen (I swear they thought they were watching a wrestling angle or something), and stepped in to separate Jericho and the woman, who was shoving him. Looking at Jericho's face he was obviously ready to explode and was restraining himself...but then the shitstorm happened...
He spit in the girl's face, and called her a "f***ing bitch". The woman then spit in Jericho's face. Jericho then started cursing out the woman some more, and was getting ready to go back into his vehicle (as all of this is still happening in the middle of the road). While he was turning to go into his vehicle, one of the guys he was fighting shoved Jericho against his car. Another guy then shoved Jericho, and that time he bumped his head on the top of his vehicle. This was where Jericho seriously snapped.
After bumping his head, Jericho went into a shitstorm, throwing and swinging at everybody around him. He knocked one guy to the ground, told another fan that he was going to "f***ing kill you". The woman who got spit on was still yelling at Jericho, so he piefaced her away from him (because the arena security couldn't keep them separated). As soon as he put his hands on the woman, ANOTHER fan jumps in and starts swinging at Jericho. Jericho grabs the guy and starts throwing him to the ground, and at this point I have to yank my girlfriend out of the way and into some other people because Jericho had literally thrown himself and the other guy into our direction and we would of been knocked down by the scuffle.
The arena security try again at this point to regain order, and two of them grab Jericho and start yelling at him to calm down, to which Jericho responds by taking a swing at one of the security guards and yelling at them to "do your f***ing job and get the f***ing police here". Then he shoves the second guard to the ground and tells him to "stay the f*** off me".
Well, as that happens, the chick lunges at Jericho AGAIN, and this time Jericho actually punches the woman in the face, and shoves her to the ground. This stunned everyone, and the girl's friends ended up jumping in trying to fight Jericho, to which he fought all of them off, then storms into his vehicle swearing and speeds off, running through a stop sign in the process.
This whole thing happened over the span of about 5 minutes (of the street being blocked by this ordeal), and the woman ended up calling the cops on Jericho. They arrived 5 minutes after Jericho left, complete with a Paddy Wagon. The WWE's head of security did not see the incident, so he was there trying to figure out what happened along with the cops at the same time while yapping on his cell phone, and the woman is pressing charges against Jericho. As crazy and unbelievable this sounds, it can all be backed up with whatever police report was filed on the scene this afternoon.
I hope this made sense, as a lot of stuff happened. If you have any questions or need clarification, just ask. This was taped by several people with cell phone cameras, but there were only 50 people down there so I hope the video makes it way to the internet. Regardless, this went down as one of the craziest things I have ever seen in my life (even if it didn't involve Chris Jericho), and Jericho could be in some serious legal trouble over this one; although he was provoked, he seriously snapped and crossed the line.
I just got back from the WWE RAW/ECW house show in Victoria BC. At the end of the show (which seemed to end pretty quickly and was about 1hour and 45 mins), a ton of fans were waiting outside by the exit ramp of the arena where the wrestlers arrive and leave. Chris jericho got into his car and had already left the exit ramp. Just as he was about to turn after a stop sign, a fan swarmed the driver's side , and proceeded to bang loudly on the window and repeatedly flashed middle fingers. Jericho then opened the door on the driver's side and tried to get the fan to leave, but the fan forcefully pushed it against jericho. This prompted Jericho to step out of the vehicle and a war of words began. This led to a ton of fans flocking over to where they were, and subsequently clogging up exiting traffic. I was not close enough to hear what was being said as I didn't want to associate myself with those fans but I could tell it was serious because Jericho's face was beet red. Then quickly jericho pounced on the guy and threw a couple punches (prompting the crowd to disperse and some shrieks of horror) before jumping into his rented car and speeding away. One of the WWE guys stayed behind and relayed the information to the cops. The security team that was recruited to control the crowd was absolutely pathetic in attempting to cool down the situation as well as controlling the crowd as a whole. Jericho also supposedly muttered "Can't the security do it's job properly?" or something to that effect In my opinion jericho is not at fault as what he was doing was self-defense, and to ward off idiotic fans.
Victoria has always had a bad string of luck regarding incidents with wrestlers. In 2005 a fan jumped the rail and tried to attack triple H after the main event, and in 2007 a couple fans nearly got into a fistfight with Jimmy Korderas and Tony Chimmel at ringside. WWE usually comes here every 2 years to this town, but I'm guessing this incident will get reported to WWE HQ and subsequently the wait will be even longer. It is quite sad and disheartening to see fans go to such lengths to piss off the wrestlers outside of the ring. During the show, sure that's what you get for paying but not as they're trying to catch a flight to the next city. The event was overall very entertaining but unfortunately this incident caused it to end on a sour note on a personal level.
Also...
I forgot to add some details. During the pre-match promo jericho built heat by saying that he could get into the stands and "beat the living crap out of any and all of the fans", and that he disliked canada. I guess some idiot took this way to seriously and decided to try him. Shows how ignorant and foolish some wrestling fans are.
