Titus fights back on his own and hits the Razors Edge on Jacobs for two. Haas takes out Corino with a big kick before an Olympic Slam on Jacobs gets them two. Jacobs tries to use the spike on Titus but cant. Benjamin gets in the ring while the referee is distracted by Corino and Haas and superkicks Jacobs before clashing with Titus. He adds that he doesnt want belts, he wants to be the best wrestler in the world and will enter Survival of the Fittest to take on Mike Bennett.

Details on Why Edge Has Heat Within WWE Posted by Steve Carrier on 10/03/2012 at 08:33 AM
- There is a lot of heat on Edge within WWE right now. WWE pretty much made another Legends deal offer to him when he worked the recent SmackDown tapings but he was not interested. Edge does not want to be locked into a WWE deal and wants to be able to do his own things. When WWE originally saw that Edge's contract was ending, they offered him a Legends deal similar to what Shawn Michaels has but word is the money offered was a bit of an insult.
There is also some heat on Edge because of Beth Phoenix leaving. There's a belief that she's leaving in part to help him recover from neck surgery in November. Also, there are some people high up in the company that aren't happy about his upcoming appearance for Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore promotion.
Edge and WWE will most likely work together in the future but there is definitely the feeling within WWE that he's sort of gone against them.
- The Usos posted the following Tout video from backstage at last night's WWE
SmackDown tapings. Vickie Guerrero wants them to join her
and they're considering the change:
Chris Harris Weighs In On Short-lived WWE Tenure Posted by Steve Carrier on 10/02/2012 at 09:50 PM
Following a fruitful multi-year run in TNA Wrestling, Chris Harris crossed over to WWE in 2008. The partnership did not work as the company opted to cut ties with the veteran wrestler after only two television matches. Speaking to ArtOfWrestling.cz, Harris offered his thoughts on why he didn't gel in the sports-entertainment promotion.
"That is something I will never truly know," said Harris. "I have my version of what I was put through, but a lot of people will say I just didnt have what it takes. It was never about a name or a character. Its the fact they would never let me go out and do what I do best. I had a number of people telling me a number of different things. I have enough confidence in my ability that I could have made something work. It made me hate wrestling and I needed to get out."
Sans two one-off appearances for TNA in 2010 and 2011, Harris has remained out of the spotlight since his departure from WWE. In response to whether he would like to make a full-time to the organization he became famous in, Harris would welcome the opportunity.
"I think I have a lot more to offer. Many are calling for an AMW reunion, but truth is Storm is so successful in his singles run that it wouldnt make sense right now. Its all about right time and right place," he states.
According to Prowrestling.net, TNA star Jeff Hardy's contract
with the company expires in February. There have been rumors of Hardy having
another run with WWE or even working the independent scene with his brother Matt
Hardy and creating his own schedule. However, as reported in Thursday's Dot Net
Weekly audio show, a source with knowledge of the situation stated that Hardy's
first preference is to re-sign with TNA, assuming they can come to terms.

After suffering an apparent injury at Friday's RAW live event against Tensai,
Santino Marella told fans on Twitter that it was just a close call and he is not
injured. Santino worked last night's RAW live event in Topeka, Kansas.
As noted before, Samoa Joe became the new TNA Television Champion on Thursday's
episode of Impact Wrestling. Joe made history by becoming the third wrestler in
TNA history to become a TNA Grand Slam Champion. The first two were Abyss and AJ
Styles.
Speaking of Joe and the TV Title, the belt he won on Thursday's
Impact wasn't the legit TV Title belt. The belt he was given on Impact was the
old TNA World Heavyweight Title belt that they used from 2007-2010. Devon is
likely in possession of the real TV Title belt and they were just using that one
until he returns it.

- WWE announced Friday afternoon via WWE.com that the organization has come to
terms on the release of former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly. According to
F4WOnline.com, the departure was mutual. The organization granted the former
Divas Champion a leave of absence in May in hopes that she would remain and sign
a new contract. She briefly returned in August, but indicated then that she
would not be returning on a full-time schedule anytime soon since she was
pursuing endeavors outside the organization. With Kelly still cold this week on
returning, both parties decided to part ways.
Contrary to earlier published reports, F4WOnline.com states Friday that Shaul Marie Guerrero (a/k/a Raquel Diaz) remains under contract to WWE.
Her bio was removed from the Divas roster page of WWEs official NXT website, FCWWrestling.info, suggesting that she had parted ways with the sports-entertainment organization. F4WOnline.com and PWInsider.com subsequently reported that Guerrero was granted her contract release after requesting it.

Backstage Talk About WWE Grooming a New Top Guy Posted by Steve Carrier on
09/28/2012 at 09:35 AM
- With 35 year old John Cena currently dealing
with back, elbow, hip and neck issues, there has been a lot of talk for months
about who is the next top guy for WWE. With Vince McMahon's days likely
numbered, some believe that the next top guy after Cena will be Vince's last
ever hand-picked top guy.
While Cena won't be replaced as the top guy
until his body breaks down or until the public tires of him, there is a feeling
that you have to think about the future now as Vince has never gone with anyone
older than 40 as his top guy because people think he cuts bait early and then
moves on.
Vince has told both the traveling and non-traveling writing
staff, as well as the RAW and SmackDown crews, that they are now to put emphasis
on storylines and angles for Sheamus. The idea is that CM Punk is a heel and
won't be that top guy. Plus in their minds of what "the guy" is supposed to look
like, Punk doesn't fit. Triple H is also backing Sheamus because he's big
enough, dedicated enough and loyal enough. At the same time, many people feel
Sheamus wouldn't be right as the face of the company because of his character.
Another downside to Sheamus is he's almost 35 and if they are looking at
grooming the next guy for Cena's spot, they should be looking at someone who is
25 or so.
