Raw wrestler Chuck Palumbo's WWE contract is set to expire soon. Considering that Palumbo hasn't been talked about in months and is never used, the feeling is that it won't be renewed by WWE. Palumbo is already looking at life after WWE as he's got former Natural Born Thrillers members Jon Hugger (a.k.a. Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli) working on getting him in AAA, as well as Mark Jindrak (Marco Corleone) getting him in CMLL. Hugger is currently in AAA under his "Rellik" gimmick.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Super Crazy quit WWE as of a few days ago. Crazy's decision was said to have come out of no where. He reportedly told WWE officials that he was unhappy with how he was being used and that he was promised pushes so many times that never materialized.
John Laurinaitis is said to have not taken it well reportedly telling Crazy that many wrestlers in Mexico want his spot. Crazy had told friends that even in his position, he was happy with the money, but was unhappy with the job. While he could collect on a few months based on the WWE's non-compete clause without having to work, he was said to be willing to waive that period as he wants to wrestle and is willing to waive the non-compete by signing that he won't go to TNA as he said that isn't his goal either
WWE.com released the following statement a short while ago:
Super Crazy released Written: November 5, 2008

ECW Champion Matt Hardy def. Bam Neely (Non-title Match) (PHOTOS) ECW Champion Matt Hardy started the night off by setting the Land of the Extreme on fire with an electrifying victory over the rough and ready Bam Neely. Just when it looked as if the brutal Neely would upset the champion, Matt Hardy hit him with a Twist of Fate from out of nowhere to come out on top.
Finlay def. Mark Henry (WATCH | PHOTOS) At the conclusion of Matt Hardys match, Finlay and Mark Henry both emerged to proclaim that they should to be the next Superstar to face the ECW Champion. As a result, ECW General Manager Theodore Long made an executive decision that the two Superstars would battle for a chance at the title in the nights main event. After avoiding a splash that threatened both him and his son Hornswoggle, Finlay triumphed over Henry by bashing the Worlds Strongest Man over the head with the shillelagh. The monumental victory earns the Belfast Brawler a chance at the Hardys gold next week.
Jack Swagger insults Tommy Dreamer and his family (PHOTOS) Following his huge victory over ECW Original Tommy Dreamer last week, The All-American American Jack Swagger proceeded to belittle the 19-year hardcore veteran, describing the many ways Dreamer is a failure before dropping the old ECW Championship into a trash can. However, when Swagger suggested Dreamer's twin daughters might become failures as well, the situation reached a boiling point. Dreamer charged into the ring in an enraged frenzy, smashing Swagger with the trash can before whacking him with the Singapore Cane, sending him from the ring in agony.
Ricky Ortiz def. local athlete (PHOTOS) Ricky Ortiz remained undefeated, making short work of a local athlete with the devastating Big O. The ever-building winning streak of this young Superstar stands as a continued monument to the amazing success of Longs New Superstar Initiative.

This is Hall's first match since mid August, when he worked the "Gathering of the Juggalos" event.
The Daily Star recently conducted an interview with TNA's Jim Cornette, who had some harsh words for the WWE Chairman. "Have you seen the stock market? Vince is not a billionaire any more! He may not even be a millionaire by the time this thing's over! I will sacrifice every penny I've got and cut my neighbour's lawn to see Vince McMahon a broken man laying in the gutter!" Cornette worked in WWE for years and ran the old Ohio Valley developmental territory.

TAMPA, Fla. Raws three-hour 800th episode celebration was an explosive event, with highly anticipated battles featuring D-Generation X, The Miz & John Morrison, Batista, Chris Jericho, and 16 of the Sexiest Women on Television. The night also brought with it huge changes as the end of the night found Raw with no General Manager and a new, but familiar World Heavyweight Champion. WATCH all the action now in the Raw Quick Cut and check out WWE.com's exclusive ringside PHOTOS.
Chris Jericho def. Batista in a Steel Cage Match to become World Heavyweight Champion (PHOTOS | WATCH) In the nights main event, Chris Jericho received a rematch against Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship he lost to The Animal at Cyber Sunday. The two Superstars faced off in a match where they had nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide inside a 15-foot steel cage. In spite of the thorough beating Jericho received at the hands of Batista little more than a week before, the first-ever Undisputed Champion managed to once again slip away with a win by way of his underhanded tactics, bludgeoning The Animal with a steel ring wrenched from the cage surrounding them.
Going into Survivor Series, Chris Jericho is once again World Heavyweight Champion, and as decreed by Shane McMahon, will defend his title against a returning John Cena. Shanes sister Stephanie was bothered that he would make the match without consulting her first, but both of Mr. McMahons progeny agreed that they wished their father was there to enjoy the celebration of Raws milestone 800th episode.
Kane & Mark Henry def. Rey Mysterio & World Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston; The Great Khali emerged to aid Mysterio (PHOTOS) Rey Mysterio & World Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston put their high-flying and athletic maneuvers to the test on Raw as they faced off against the monstrous pair of Kane & Mark Henry. In spite of their speed and athleticism however, the Ultimate Underdog & the Jamaican Superstar were no match for the sheer mass and force of the Big Red Monster & the Worlds Strongest Man. But after the contest, a Superstar with matching power, The Great Khali, emerged and shocked the WWE Universe by defending Mysterio from Kane & Henry, and even helping the Master of the 619 deliver his signature maneuver.
Undertaker def. JBL by count-out; Shawn Michaels threw JBL back into the ring, where Undertaker hit him with a Tombstone Piledriver (PHOTOS) When JBL was put in a match against SmackDowns Undertaker, he put on a brave face. However, when it came time for the self-proclaimed wrestling god to actually face The Deadman, he wasnt quite as courageous, allowing himself to be counted out, giving Undertaker the win. Before JBL could fully retreat back to the locker room area, however, he was accosted by Shawn Michaels. Furious at the Longhorn Loudmouth for assaulting him prior to their tag match last week, HBK threw Layfield back into the ring where Undertaker hit him with a Tombstone Piledriver.
World Tag Team Champion CM Punk def. Randy Orton by a disqualification due to interference from Priceless (PHOTOS) World Tag Team Champion CM Punk came to his match against Randy Orton eager to exact revenge for Orton causing him to lose the World Heavyweight Championship months ago. As the match progressed however, the team of Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes & Manu, emerged with a score of their own to settle, bitter over losing the World Tag Team Titles to Punk & Kofi Kingston the week before. DiBiase assaulted the Straightedge Superstar, causing the match to end in a disqualification. Orton was enraged that the third-generation Superstar caused him to lose the match, and punted DiBiase in the head as retaliation before making his way back to the locker room area. Later, Orton explained to a livid Cody Rhodes & Manu that the punt he dealt out to DiBiase was not only revenge for them interrupting his match, but also an attempt to kick some sense into the three competitors.
Womens Champion Beth Phoenix, Layla, Katie Lea Burchill, Jillian, Maryse, Natalya, Victoria & Lena Yada def. Mae Young, Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, Eve, Brie Bella & Tiffany. (PHOTOS) Raws 800th episode celebration was also the setting for the biggest Divas competition in WWE history, a 16-Diva Tag Team Match. After the Divas made their entrance, the referee noticed that the team of Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, Eve, Brie Bella & Tiffany was short by one competitor. Luckily, WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young made her way to the ring, rounding out the team. Showing a complete lack of respect for the ring legend, Womens Champion Beth Phoenix rolled up an unsuspecting Young, pinning her for the win.
D-Generation X def. The Miz & John Morrison (PHOTOS) As announced on Raw last week, The Miz & John Morrison, the self-proclaimed greatest team of the 21st century, faced D-Generation X as part of Raws 800th episode celebration. Prior to the match, Triple H & Shawn Michaels retaliated against Miz & Morrison for mocking them on ECW last week. Afterward, the self-proclaimed chick magnet & the Shaman of Sexy made their entrance and proceeded to give The Game & HBK a much tighter, competitive match than perhaps the ring legends had bargained for. In the end, however, D-Generation X maintained their status as one of WWEs premier tag teams, defeating the Dirt Sheet duo.
Following the match, JBL pitched himself as the new Raw General Manager to Shane McMahon. While Shane didnt give the self-made millionaire the position he wanted, he did put Layfield in a match against The Phenom himself, Undertaker, for later that night.
Vladimir Kozlov def. Charlie The Hit Man Haas (PHOTOS) Charlie Haas, continuing his trend of impersonating WWE Superstars, set his sights on WWE Hall of Famer Bret The Hit Man Hart. Despite declaring himself the best there is, best there was and best there ever will be, Charlie The Hit Man Haas was unable to stand up to the relentless assault of SmackDowns undefeated Vladimir Kozlov, who meets Undertaker this Friday on SmackDown.
Mike Adamle resigns as General Manager; Randy Orton, fully healed, to face CM Punk on Raw (PHOTOS) Shane McMahon appeared on Raw to address Randy Ortons ultimatum that either General Manager Mike Adamle goes, or he does. Before Shane could make his decision however, Adamle himself approached, regretting his behavior from the week before, when he slapped Orton as a response to insults directed at his family and character. The General Manager went on to resign from his position, leaving Randy Orton and Shane McMahon in the ring. Shane then addressed Orton, revealing that the recuperating Superstar had actually already been medically cleared to compete. As the Legend Killers first match back, Shane set a contest between him and the Superstar Orton punted in the head, costing him the World Heavyweight Title: CM Punk. Later in the evening, former GM Mike Adamle took a moment to speak with Stephanie McMahon, blaming her megalomaniacal tendencies for his resignation.
William Regal won an Eight-Man Battle Royal to earn a title match against Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella next week (PHOTOS) In order to determine who should receive an Intercontinental Championship opportunity, a Battle Royal was held between Cryme Tyme, Jamie Noble, Snitsky, William Regal and Priceless. Though he was in the ring with two prominent tag teams, Regal managed to be the last Superstar left in the ring, throwing Ted DiBiase over the top rope after the Priceless Superstar eliminated both of his tag team partners, Cody Rhodes & Manu. Fittingly, the 2008 King of the Ring will compete against Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella next week, in Regals homeland of the United Kingdom.
Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy def. MVP & The Brian Kendrick (PHOTOS) Raws 800th episode celebration opened with a match featuring one of the most extreme and exciting tag teams in WWE history: Matt Hardy and his brother, Jeff Hardy. The two ring warriors squared off against a team of SmackDown Superstars, MVP & The Brian Kendrick. However, even with the presence of Kendricks associate, Ezekiel Jackson, the Hardys were able to soar to victory in their trademark risk-taking style.

As we reported earlier, TNA Wrestling released two of its backstage agents over the weekend for budget reasons - Pat Kenney (Simon Diamond) and Glenn Gilbertti (Disco Inferno). ProWrestling.net reports that there are concerns within TNA that more talent cuts are on the way. TNA has roughly 60 wrestlers under contract with only a two-hour weekly show to fill. TNA talent was said to be "shocked" with Pat Kenny's release, as he's been described as the company's number 1 agent. "He had seniority. His contract was coming up and they just kept putting it off."
TNA Knockout Angelina Love was shaken up following a shot to the throat from Christy Hemme during their match at Monday's Impact taping (which aired this past Thursday), reports prowrestling.NET. It was quite obvious that Love suffered the injury early in the match as she was seen clutching her throat and was limited for the rest of the contest as a result. Love was said to be feeling better the next day and is not expected to miss any ring time.
TNA has released Glenn Gilberti and Pat Kenney, reports prowrestling.NET. The two road agents were released this past Friday. The reason given for the firing is that the company is making budgetary cuts. With the departures of the two, that leaves Dutch Mantel, Jim Cornette, Savio Vega, and BG James as the remaining agents in TNA. Although, Kenney and Mantel were the only agents to go on the road at house show events.

SAN DIEGO Just five days after Cyber Sunday, MyNetwork TV hosted a special Halloween-themed edition of SmackDown full of Superstar tricks, costumed Diva treats, and a wicked Casket Match set by devilish General Manager Vickie Guerrero.
Undertaker def. Chavo Guerrero (Casket Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS) Even with Big Show becoming more than a casual observer, the fate of Chavo Guerrero in a Casket Match against Undertaker seemed set in stone. After punishing the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior," The Phenom signaled to the referee that the end was near. But, as he was about to send Guerrero to his doom, Big Show slammed the casket door closed. Then, when The Deadman countered his opponents attempt to use a chair with a vicious chokeslam, Big Show attacked. However, the trick was on The Worlds Largest Athlete as The Phenom pulled the top rope down, sending the charging Superstar tumbling over the ropes and onto the top of the looming box of death. Undertaker then hit Guerrero with the Tombstone and rolled him into the coffin for the win.
Vladimir Kozlov calls out Triple H; General Manager Guerrero gives Kozlov an opportunity (PHOTOS) Vladimir Kozlov came before the WWE Universe, demanding a title opportunity against WWE Champion Triple H. When The Game emerged and pushed for a face-to-face confrontation without securing a title match, the Moscow Mauler backed off. Later, after watching her nephew lose to Undertaker, Vickie Guerrero informed Kozlov that if he beats The Deadman next week, she will award him a chance at the WWE Championship at Survivor Series.
The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (Non-Title Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS) In a heated tag team match, the Shaman of Sexy grabbed the rope just as Carlito was spring boarding off it, allowing the self-proclaimed chick magnet to execute a Mizard of Oz for the win. Will the WWE.com Dirt Sheet co-stars have the same luck against DX on a special three-hour edition of Monday Night Raws 800th Episode Celebration? (full story ) (WATCH PREVIEW)

MVP (PHOTOS) In a ghoulish match, ECW Champion Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio took on the frightening forces of Kane, Mark Henry & Montel Vontavious Porter. In the end, Jeff Hardy proved victorious; hitting the Ballin Superstar with the Swanton Bomb after his brother Matt delivered the Twist of Fate.
Jimmy Wang Yang def. The Brian Kendrick DQ (PHOTOS) Jimmy Wang Yang dressed up as the legendary John Wayne Yang. But after he hit the Moonsault and looked as if he would pin The Kendrick outright, it was Ezekiel Jackson who showed true grit. After pulling his associate out of the ring before the three-count could be completed causing the disqualification Jackson unleashed a devastating attack on the would-be Duke.
The Great Khalis special Trick or Treat Edition of The Kiss Cam (WATCH | PHOTOS) The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh hosted a very special Trick-or-Treat edition of Kiss Cam in which the Punjabi Playboy plucked one Beatrix The Wicked Witch of San Diego from the audience and knocked her off her feet with a very haunting Halloween kiss.
The New York Daily News has an article on Joe Laurinaitis, better known as Road Warrior Animal. He says he'd like to return to either WWE or TNA in the role of a road agent to help the younger wrestlers. "I'd love to work for the WWE or TNA behind-the-scenes," Laurinaitis said, "not only to train the young talent but how to relate to the fans, which is so important." In the early 1980s, Laurinaitis was faced with his career path: pro football with the defunct USFL, or professional. Laurinaitis needed money at the time, so he chose pro wrestling and formed the Legion of Doom faction with Mike Hegstrand (a.k.a. Hawk) "Ole Anderson saw me with my friend Mike Hegstrand and said since we looked like twins so why not team up," Laurinaitis said. "Ole named (the team) but we named ourselves, me the bigger guy became Animal, and Mike, who liked to fly around the ring, became Hawk."
WWE is advertising Layla as "Layla London" for future appearances. Reader Alice sent word that Raw is coming to her home state of Pennsylvania for a Raw brand house show in Hershey on December 26, and a match featuring Mickie James & Jamie Noble vs. William Regal and "Layla London" has been announced. It's interesting to note that Layla wore what appears to read "LL" on her kneepads in her match on Monday's Raw.
