The following dark match took place prior to the PPV airing live:

- Thanks to Craig for sending us live spoilers from last nights TNA tapings in Orlando:
Xplosion:
* It looks like TNA is starting the new Xplosion tonight as Taz and JB are out for commentary. The set is cool, not as lit up as iMPACT normally is.
* Suicide defeated Eric Young.
* Orlando Jordan beat Homicide with a choke.
iMPACT:
* Abyss opens the show and has some kind of red meat on his board of nails. Abyss calls it his girl and named the board Janice. Abyss starts hitting the mat with the board as the fans chant for Rob Van Dam. He cuts a promo on RVD.
* Taylor Wilde and Sarita start brawling backstage and make their way to ringside for a match it looks like. Taylor tosses Sarita into the crowd and chokes her out with a strap for the win. Good stuff here.
* Kevin Nash talks to Miss Tessmacher backstage.
* Brian Kendrick defeats Douglas Williams by submission. I think this was non-title. After the match Kevin Nash came out and chokeslammed Kendrick.
* Nash demands that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff give him more TV time. Nash is going to make an example out of Kendrick until Jeff Jarrett comes out and tells him to calm down. Jarrett says Nash cares about the money only. Jarrett says Nash got it or something. Nash walks off and leaves Jeff in the ring.
* Samoa Joe beats Rob Terry and Desmond Wolfe in a three-way after making Wolfe submit. Good match here. Chelsea was upset at the end and stormed off ahead of Wolfe.
* A Best of 5 will take place between Tag Champs Motor City Machineguns and Beer Money. A contract is there to be grabbed and it appears thats the only way to win. James Storm cuts a promo before the match and says theyre tired of getting screwed. Awesome start to the match here. This one is a ladder match. Beer Money wins when Storm uses a beer bottle.
* The Pope defeated Matt Morgan in a rather dull match. Morgan went for the kick against the ringpost after the match but Mr. Anderson made the save. Anderson tried to shake hands with Pope but Pope wouldnt.
* Theres a backstage segment with the Beautiful People. Velvet storms off for some reason. I couldnt hear it.
* Madison Rayne comes out for a promo. Shes not happy about the referees decision of taking her title at Victory Road. Rayne threatens to sue TNA. Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich come out and ask why Madison got the motorcycle chick to help without asking them first. Velvet and Rayne get into it when Angelina Love comes out. Angelina accuses Velvet of being the motorcycle rider. Angelina and Madison brawl when the bike rider arrives again. She helps Madison beat Angelina up and they leave together.
* Jeff Hardy beats Jay Lethal with a Swanton Bomb. My favorite match of the night. The ECW originals arrived during this match.
* Ric Flair comes out to end the show with AJ Styles and Kazarian. Flair says Victory Road sucked for him and announces them as the first two members of Fortune. Desmond Wolfe comes out to protest. Abyss comes out and everyone leaves. He calls out RVD. Abyss talks about them and says they want the TNA Title from RVD. Abyss and RVD will have an Extreme Rules match at Hard Justice with his nail board hanging above the ring. They start brawling. Ink Inc. tries to come help RVD but they cant. Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, Raven and Stevie Richards hop the rail and Mick Foley appears at the ramp. They come down and attack Abyss to make the save for RVD. TNA officials and wrestlers hit the ring and its chaos. People like Devon Dudley and Al Snow side with the ECW guys. Its an ECW vs. TNA brawl. Dixie Carter is trying to stop it all. The show ends with the ECW guys and Foley getting the upperhand.
Drew McIntyre makes a bold guarentee Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/16/2010 at 08:55 PM
Drew McIntyre said the following in an interview with SLAM! Wrestling while promoting the Money in the Bank PPV:
"The Money in the Bank itself, I want to get this out there. ... I always get blown away by the ticket prices, because they're not a lot more than when I was a kid. But I guarantee with the kind of matches that we're putting on this show, I didn't realize that every other match, except the two ladder matches, which will be insane matches, tight matches as well. I'm Drew McIntyre, and I guarantee that anybody that buys a ticket and comes to the show and is not 100% satisfied, and don't think it's the greatest show they've ever seen in their life, ask security, ask for Drew McIntyre, and I will give them back their money myself, because that's how sure I am it'll be an amazing pay-per-view. The entire card is, 'Oh my God.'"
TNA still interested in bringing in JBL? Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/16/2010 at 05:56 PM
Credit: F4WOnline.com
TNA has had some interest in former WWE Superstar John Bradshaw Layfield. Dixie Carter has met with JBL in the past and they get along. Dixie has wanted to bring JBL in since he retired from WWE after Wrestlemania last year. At one point, Dixie offered to help co-produce the Viper MMA group that JBL and Bruce Pritchard tried to run, which didnt last long.
People close to JBL dont expect him to come in. JBL declined an offer from TNA back in January when they were getting ready for the switch Monday nights.

Chris Jericho def. Yoshi Tatsu (PHOTOS | WATCH) Three nights before he competes in the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WWEs newest pay-per-view, Chris Jericho arrogantly walked into WWE Superstars to face the exciting Yoshi Tatsu. Although he clearly underestimated his opponent, Jericho quickly realized that he was in the ring with an explosive Superstar. Attacking the former WWE Champion with sharp kicks and painful strikes, Tatsu came within a hair of scoring a major upset. Unfortunately, Jerichos veteran smarts kicked in as he locked on the Walls of Jericho to pick up the win. The nefarious Superstar may have walked away with a victory, but what toll did Tatsus devastating offense take on Jerichos body?
Brie & Nikki Bella def. Maryse & Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH) Over the last month, Jillian has suffered three losses thanks to the mischievous Bella Twins. Thats why the tone-deaf Diva enlisted the vicious Maryse to help her take out Nikki & Brie, but even the French-Canadian Diva couldnt solve Jillians problems. Although the aggressive blondes were particularly brutal with their opponents, they couldnt combat the sister act. In the end, Jillian was rolled up for yet another loss to the beautiful Bellas.
Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer in action (PHOTOS | WATCH) Since busting their way onto SmackDown, Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer have been causing havoc on Friday nights. Tonight, the impactful duo brought their aggression to WWE Superstars where they absolutely decimated a pair of local competitors. Intense, physical and unrelenting, Hawkins & Archer caught the attention of everyone in the locker room with this dominating victory.
Chavo Guerrero def. JTG (PHOTOS | WATCH) Its rare that Chavo Guerrero gets the opportunity to taste victory, but thats exactly what happened on WWE Superstars as the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior pulled off a commanding win over JTG. Although the SmackDown Superstars offense was unorthodox and impressive, he simply couldnt overcome Chavos third-generation talents. With a tremendous Frog Splash, Guerrero pinned JTG and finally chalked up another one in the win column.
Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Dashing Cody Rhodes (No Contest) Drew McIntyre def. Christian Chris Masters & Kelly Kelly def. Trent Barreta & Womens Champion Layla (Mixed Tag Team Match) Dolph Ziggler def. Matt Hardy
LOUISVILLE, Ky. Just two days before WWEs innovative new pay-per-view Money in the Bank, Jack Swaggers father felt the full wrath of Kane, CM Punk was unmasked by Big Show and the six SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match combatants squared off in three explosive showdowns.
Kane chokeslamed and tombstoned Jack Swaggers father (PHOTOS | WATCH) In order to prove his innocence in the Memorial Day assault of The Undertaker, Jack Swagger revealed dated photos of himself and his Daddy engaging in several activities throughout the holiday. When The Big Red Monster emerged to attack The All-American American anyway, Swagger turned the tide, applying his excruciating ankle lock to the horrific Superstar. After the still-injured World Champion Rey Mysterio rushed in to even the odds blasting his No. 1 contender with the 619 Kane recovered and set up the chokeslam on both Swagger and his father. Though Swagger managed to escape before it could be executed, he left his helpless father to endure not only the chokeslam, but also an earth-shattering tombstone.
What affect will Kane and Rey Mysterios actions have on the World Championship Match at Money in the Bank this Sunday? (Match preview)
Dolph Ziggler def. Matt Hardy (PHOTOS | WATCH) After SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero's presence on the ring apron momentarily threw Matt Hardy off his game, Dolph Ziggler wasted no time hitting the Zig Zag to triumph over his Money in the Bank Ladder Match adversary.
Can Ziggler use his momentum to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase? (Match preview)
Chris Masters & Kelly Kelly def. Trent Barreta & Womens Champion Layla (PHOTOS | WATCH) One week ago, No. 1 contender to the Womens Championship, Kelly Kelly, was attacked by Team Lay-Cool. This week, she partnered with Chris Masters in a Mixed Tag Team quest-for-retribution against Womens Champion Layla and Trent Barreta of the Dude Busters. But, when Lay-Cool hopeful Rosa Mendes jump roped onto the scene, both of the Dude Busters took their eyes off the match and put them onto her, assisting Rosa in an impromptu round of double-dutch. Layla soon took issue with the disruption, allowing Kelly Kelly to hit the K-2 legdrop and claim victory for herself and Masters.
Can the determined Kelly Kelly repeat her success and walk out of Money in the Bank with the Womens Title? (Match preview)
Big Show ripped off CM Punks mask (PHOTOS | WATCH) Moments after Big Show interrupted The Straight Edge Society revealing a giant, reinforced ladder that he plans to use to win the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Sunday the S.E.S. attacked him with united fury. The Worlds Largest Athlete soon regrouped, disposing of both Luke Gallows and the hooded stranger before trapping The Second City Saint on top of his ladder. Then, climbing up to meet him, Big Show ripped off CM Punks mask, finally revealing Punks shaved head to the WWE Universe!
Drew McIntyre def. Christian (PHOTOS | WATCH) In a knock-down, drag-out match that mixed absolute brutality with an all-out aerial onslaught, Drew McIntyre reigned supreme over Christian. After delivering a vicious thumb to the eye without the officials knowledge, the sinister Scotsman executed the Future Shock DDT for his second huge win since sorting out his immigration problems.
Can the Chosen One come one step closer to realizing his prophesied greatest by winning the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match? (Match preview)
Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Dashing Cody Rhodes ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH) The intensely battle for momentum between Money in the Bank Ladder Match combatants Kofi Kingston and Cody Rhodes came to an abrupt end with the emergence of Kane. After The Big Red Monster unleashed back-to-back chokeslams upon two of his Money in the Bank opponents, he proclaimed that he was prepared to bludgeon Jack Swagger, the Superstar he was accusing of attacking his brother, The Phenom.
- CM Punk is expected to be out of action for another month. Punk had floating particles in his elbow which was causing it to lock up. He needed to clear everything out with surgery.

Latest comments from Melina regarding her injury Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/13/2010 at 12:37 PM
Melina wrote the following on Twitter:
"This tweet is about my day at fcw. Everyone thinks I'm wrestling right now and I have to do some wrestling style therapy to see what I can actually do and if it's safe for me. The www doctor still needs to talk to my doctor in LA, then get back to the fcw therapist. I admit, certain moves scared me. I'm not sure if what I feel at times is bad, normal or all in my head. We just have to wait and see. I will keep you posted each day.
Going to fcw is great. It reminds me of how I started, how I felt and what I went through.... And how far I have come.... And still I have much more to do... I see where I want to go.
Talking to people about wrestling, letting them know I understand what they are going through and to keep on working hard because it's worth it if you love it.
I love meeting people and it was great to meet them all at fcw. I hope they know I'm here to help. I want to see the art of wrestling live on and if I can inspire or teach just a little bit so it can live on or so they realize their dream, it will fill my heart with joy.
I look forward to the rest of the week. Talking to everyone and spending time with them. I hope I can roll around a bit. Talking about wrestling makes my heart yearn to do it that much more. I NEED to wrestle."
- Maryse wrote the following on her Twitter this week: "For all those asking constantly about Playboy, no I didn't shoot recently and haven't sign any deals with them, Playboy owns their copyrights. They own all the photos I did shoot with them, so they can use it for the next 100 years if they want and in any kind of form they want! I never work for Playboy Cyber Club, they are parts of Playboy, that's why they are releasing right now other photos!"
Possible reason JR was removed from WWE intro Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/13/2010 at 12:09 PM

As seen at the top of last night's RAW broadcast, WWE debuted a modified montage video. Among the changes were "Classy" Freddie Blassie, Buddy Rogers, Gorgeous George and Harley Race being added, but the most striking change was the removal of the voice of Jim Ross in favor of RAW announcer Michael Cole. Ross was unaware of the change, which he noted last night on Twitter.
Ross was reportedly removed from the opening video montage as punishment for appearing on camera at UFC's 116 PPV event in Las Vegas two weeks ago. Ross was interviewed on camera by Ariel Helwani of AOL Fanhouse following Brock Lesnar's victory over Shane Carwin. While Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg and Paul Heyman were interviewed as well, Ross is the only one currently under contract to WWE and thus decision was made to make an example out of him.
Bella Twins future Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/13/2010 at 12:04 PM
Credit: F4WOnline.com
With WWEs RAW guest host concept seemingly on its last legs, one company source said things dont look good for The Bella Twins.
Throughout the duration of the concept, the twin duos screen time would hinge on the guest host of the week (due to their role as arm piece) and creative opting to sparingly use them in a wrestling capacity on RAW. In recent weeks they have been largely relegated to WWEs secondary show Superstars as a result of the concept being de-emphasized.
Florence Henderson, who wasnt even announced in advance on RAWA, was the last guest host scheduled. However, that doesnt necessarily mean shes the final one.
Backstage news on Tuesday's Impact taping Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/14/2010 at 08:36 PM

Following the angle at last night's TNA Impact TV tapings where the Hard Justice PPV will feature an "ECW" theme, a ton of former ECW wrestlers are already being contacted about appearing at the PPV and Tommy Dreamer appears to be the one doing a lot of the calling. Former ECW talent Bill Alfonso was backstage at the tapings last night, but was not used on camera. He is expected to have a role at the Hard Justice PPV next month.
TNA President Dixie Carter was described as being nervous about her segment with Tommy Dreamer at the tapings last night. She reportedly sought out feedback from several people after the show. To no one's surprise, Vince Russo gave her high praise.
Tommy Dreamer comments on his injury Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/14/2010 at 06:38 PM
Tommy Dreamer noted on his Twitter account that he suffered an injury at the TNA Impact tapings on Monday night. Dreamer wrote the following on his Twitter account:
I did tear my MCL in knee Monday night. I must keep my no surgery streak alive. Need brace, tape, gum, and peanut butter to keep it together.
Update on the creative team situation in TNA Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/14/2010 at 04:42 PM
Credit: F4WOnline.com
According to Dave Meltzer, the main reason for Ed Ferrara being fired from the TNA creative team was for financial reasons. Ferrara was hired with a good salary, but when TNA started their budget cutbacks, the creative team was one of the areas hit. Ferrara was doing a lot of the work to make things easier for Vince Russo such as writing of the show and putting together pre-taped segments.
Russo is currently writing everything for the shows, although Tommy Dreamer has been put in charge of the ECW invasion storyline.
The latest on Hulk Hogan's TNA status Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/14/2010 at 04:37 PM

As mentioned before, Hulk Hogan has been against TNA bringing in Paul Heyman. The official reason for Hogan missing the recent tapings was due to his back problems.
At this point, the planned Hogan vs. Abyss match at Bound For Glory appears to be off. There was also talk of Hogan having a match with Sting which likely won't happen either.
Hogan's deal with TNA was believed to be for one year, which means he would be finishing up around Bound For Glory.
