On Twitter, Bill Goldberg was asked if it bothers him that so many wrestlers have added the Spear (also known as shoulder block takedown) to their in-ring repertoire, a wrestling maneuver he popularized in the late nineties while performing for World Championship Wrestling. The former wrestling Champion said it does bother him, and deemed those who use the Spear as uncreative.
Gotta say all these yahoos using the Spear irks me Just shows how over it was and how less-than-creative they are, Goldberg wrote on Twitter.

R-Truth def. William Regal (PHOTOS | WATCH) Is there a more unpleasant Superstar than William Regal? With his arrogant stride and stiff upper lip, the 2008 King of the Ring made it his business to ruin the good time of R-Truth on WWE Superstars. Using the devastating submission maneuvers he learned in the rough gyms of Blackpool, England, Regal was able to slow down the rapping Superstar by targeting his knees. Truth would not be silenced, however, and connected with the Lie Detector from out of nowhere to ruin Master Regals evening. Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy.
Brie Bella def. Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH) There are a lot of perks to being a twin matching outfits, weird psychic abilities and the opportunity to sneak out in the middle of a match and be replaced by your sister. At least thats what the gorgeous Brie and Nikki Bella were able to do on tonights WWE Superstars. With the official distracted, the sisters pulled the old switcheroo on Jillian as Brie slid out of the ring and Nikki slid in. The fresh Bella then rolled up the tone-deaf Diva for a very creative 1-2-3. It pays to be a twin.
Luke Gallows def. Chris Masters (PHOTOS | WATCH) Accompanied by the anti-Diva Serena, the powerful Luke Gallows marched to the ring with a strong desire to cause harm to the flawless physique of Chris Masters. That was more easily said than done, however, as The Masterpiece used his brute power to control much of the early action in this hard-hitting battle. It looked as though the SmackDown Superstar was close to finding victory, but he was distracted by the dangerous Serena. With Masters sidetracked, CM Punks most loyal disciple was able to deliver the Gallows Pole to his opponent to score a tainted victory.
JTG def. Caylen Croft (PHOTOS | WATCH) On last Thursdays WWE Superstars, Trent Barreta of The Dude Busters took on Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in singles action. This week, it was Barretas partner, Caylen Croft, flying solo against exciting SmackDown Superstar JTG. Unfortunately for Croft, he had about as much luck against JTG as Barreta had against Kingston. Despite repeated outside interference from Barreta, JTG kept his cool and used his speed and skill to bust Croft and pick up the win.

McMahon angry about Bryan spitting on Cena? Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 06/23/2010 at 03:20 PM

Dave Meltzer is reporting that, besides the tie choking incident, another thing that probably led to Daniel Bryan's release from WWE was when he spit in the face of John Cena. Vince McMahon is said to hate when people spit, as well as smoking cigarettes and sneezing (really). Spitting is something that has been banned in WWE for many years. With that being said, it's not believed that Bryan spit on Cena without getting permission from the office first.
- New WWE ring announcer Ashley Valance made her debut on tonight's NXT. Ashley seemed to have done most of Matt Striker's usual duties at the start of the show. Jamie Keyes is still doing ring introductions on matches.
What Happened After RAW Last Night Posted by Steve Carrier on 06/22/2010 at 12:20 PM
After WWE's Monday Night RAW's camera stopped rolling, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, Randy Orton, Goldust, and the rest of the Raw locker room came out and fought with the NXT rookies. The Raw superstars got the upper hand. NXT retreated to the back and the Raw locker room posed in the ring. John Cena hugged his father at ringside and left. Randy was the last one left in the ring and posed while John Cena looked on from atop of the ramp to close the show.
- It was announced tonight on RAW that all of the NXT Season 1 Rookies are now official members of the RAW roster after being hired by the new General Manager.
- WWE SmackDown Diva Beth Phoenix said in a WWE Universe chat last night during Fatal 4 Way that she is still about 3 to 5 months away from returning to the ring.
- Several readers sent word that Maryse suffered a wardrobe malfunction that was clearly shown when Alicia Fox pinned her for the win at last night's WWE Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view.
What Happened After Fatal 4 Way Went Off the Air Posted by Steve Carrier on 06/21/2010 at 11:05 AM
After the PPV went off the air, John Cena took the house mic and addressed the crowd. Cena said that it appears there is a very black cloud shadowing over The WWE.
Cena said he will go home angry and upset, not because Sheamus is the champion because titles come and go. He's angry that the company and universe he fights for have been taken over on television and now a PPV. He said they think they can do whatever they want. He said he's still here and so are the fans.
Cena said there are fans here who have strong opinions on his ability to wrestle. He said all the noise is the noise everyone in the company have fought for over the years. He said that no matter what you think of him, he can fight. He promised to take on all seven each week until every single one of them fall.
Cena said he believes in WWE and all the stars who have earned the right to be here and he will not have that taken away. He said he will stay and fight and tomorrow is another day to fight. He said he prays those sons of bitches show up tomorrow, threw down the mic and left.
Several WWE superstars react to Fatal 4 Way PPV Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 06/21/2010 at 12:04 AM
Several WWE stars took to their Twitter after tonight's WWE Fatal 4 Way PPV. Here is what they wrote:
Chris Jericho: "Had the best match I've had in months tonight. Bourne is the real deal...and I must destroy him."
Savannah: "Was great to interview the Unified Tag Team Champs, The Hart Dynasty tonite @ F4W!! :) congrats to @aliciafoxy for becoming Divas champ! :) "
Matt Hardy: "Thanks so much for the love tonight NY! Drew got exactly what he deserved & will continue to until I'm reinstated to SD.."
Bella Twins: "Amazing PPV! But honestly what are these NXT Guy's deals! Hope they get a true beatin' tomorrow night"
Kofi Kingston: "What a PPV! Everyone who was there should check themselves for burns, because that crowd was on FIRE! Boom Squad was def in the building!!!"
Jim Ross: "Crazy, abrupt ending @ Fatal 4 Way. Big nite 4 Evan Bourne. Sheamus & Rey win titles. Alicia Fox w/ surprising title win. Interesting nite."
Zack Ryder: "Beat MVP tonight on Long Island in the Fatal 4 Way bonus match! WWWYKI"
- As noted before, Shad Gaspard has been spending a lot of time in WWE developmental lately. The plan after WrestleMania was for Shad to be pushed as a top heel on SmackDown as officials were high on his size and the fact that he can move well and talk. Shad has been sent to FCW because he wasn't getting over.
- One of the stranger things about Daniel Bryan's WWE release is that Vince McMahon personally fired him via telephone late Friday night of last week, instead of having someone like John Laurinaitis do it. WWE creative and company executives were said to have no idea that any trouble with Danielson was even brewing. Some knew that there was heat from the tie incident on RAW but nobody expected that this would happen.
- Kurt Angles body is still pretty banged up and hes taking a few more weeks off to let his body heal. If hes able to return in time for Victory Road on July 11th, he will wrestle against either Samoa Joe or The Pope as part of his mission to beat all of TNAs Top 10 Contenders.

But Cottonwood simply dominated his much smaller opponent. WWE Pro John Morrison congratulated his undefeated protégé, Cottonwood, after the match, while Layla and Michelle presented Kaval with a personalized pink Property of Lay-Cool shirt. With his WWE Pro, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, in his corner, the third-generation competitor pinned former footballer ONeil, who also had his WWE Pro, Zack Ryder, at ringside. It was surely another emotional win for McGillicutty, who told the WWE Universe he called his mother whose maiden name was McGillicutty after his first win on WWE NXT last week. McGillicuttys record increased to 2-0, while ONeil remained winless with an 0-2 record. (WATCH: Meet Titus O"Neil)
