Killings started off against Sting - but when Killings went to tag out after a flurry of offense from Sting, Pacman refused to tag in! Killings continued against Kurt Angle, but once again Pacman opted not to tag in when offered. Karen Angle came down, but refused to leave when Sting told her to. Karen slapped Sting, and when he pointed for her to leave again she went down as if she was hit! Angle went outside to investigate and Karen told him that Sting had slapped her! Back in the ring, Pacman finally tagged in to face Sting but Kurt jumped in and hit the Angle Slam on Sting! Pacman Jones covered Sting for the win as The Truth and Pacman Jones are the new TNA World Tag Team Champions!
Up next, its Rhino vs. James Storm Prior to the match, JB interviewed Rhino who said he may be an alcoholic, but hes sober and ready to annihilate Storm. The bout started with a brawl on the outside, as Storm tried to hide in the crowd. The two TNA stars battled through the fans, as referee Andrew Thomas opted to let them go at it instead of counting them out. Rhino and Storm eventually got back in the ring and the match was officially underway. Rhino went for the GORE, but Jackie Moore interfered, allowing Storm to get the upper hand. Rhino fought back and nailed Storm with the GORE, but the Cowboy was able to kick out! Rhino tossed in two steel chairs from the fans and went for the Rhinodriver from the second rope. However, Storm battled out of it and hit a flying bulldog on Rhino on the chairs! Storm brought a table in to the ring, but Rhino grounded him with a slam. Rhino then set the table up in the corner. Storm set up Rhino for a superplex and hit it, but couldnt get the pin. Storm went for the superkick, but Rhino reversed it and hit the GORE on the Cowboy, putting him through the table and covering him for the win! After the bout, Jackie tried to attack Rhino but he threw her in the ring and hit the GORE on her!
In the back, Kurt Angle was going ballistic in the locker room about Karen claiming Sting slapped her. Sting ran in and tried to put Angle through a locker, at which point Jim Cornette came in and told Sting to go back to the hotel to calm down! Cornette then told Karen Angle to grab her belongings and get out of the arena, because her night was over!
Up next it's Kaz vs. Robert Roode...Kaz started off on the offensive on Roode, using his quickness to get the edge. Whenever Kazarian got the upper hand, Ms. Brooks smiled. Both TNA stars tumbled to the outside, but Brooks couldnt decide who to help. Roode tried to clothesline Kaz on the outside, but Ms. Brooks got in his life of fire as well. Back in the ring, Roode took over and tried to unleash as much punishment on Kaz as he could. Roode pulled a chain out of his boots and tried to use them, but they got tossed out of the ring. Brooks retrieved the chain and watched as both Kaz and Roode battled for the advantage. Once Roode gained the upper hand and wanted the chain, she dropped it and kicked it under the ring! Kaz went to hit Roode on the outside, but Roode tried to use Brooks as a shield. However, Kaz managed to nail his opponent with a flying clothesline, then he got up and kissed Ms. Brooks hand as she smiled ear to ear. Back inside the ring, Kaz hit a reverse DDT on Roode, but Roode kicked out. Kaz went for the Flux Capacitor on the second rope, but ended up hitting a faceplant on Roode instead for a two-count. Kaz went to the top again and tried for a legdrop, but Roode caught him and nailed the Payoff suplex to get the win! After the bout, Roode demanded Ms. Brooks raise his hand, despite the fact she was concerned about Kazs condition.
In the back, Crystal interviewed Black Machismo Jay Lethal about his upcoming bout against Kurt Angle for the X Championship. Kevin Nash came in and told Lethal it would be in his best interest tonight to take a dive and let Angle win the bout
Black Machismo started off taking it to Angle, using his quickness and X skills to gain the upper hand. However, Angle eventually took over and grounded Lethal with his mat-wrestling prowess. Angle kept trying to go for the pin to end the match early to save his energy for the main event, but Lethal wouldnt give up. Lethal regained the advantage after a kick to Angles head, but Angle answered with a German suplex. Moments later, Angle locked Lethal in and hit him with three more German suplexes. Still, Lethal wouldnt give in! Black Machismo hit the Lethal Combination and dropped his trademark elbow from the top, but Angle kicked out. Kurt then went for the ankle lock, but Lethal reversed it to get the three count as Black Machismo defeated Kurt Angle to become the new TNA X Division Champion! What an upset as Jay Lethal beat Kurt Angle clean in the middle of the ring! As Lethal celebrated, stars from the X Division came out to congratulate the new champion.
In the back, JB interviewed Black Reign about the upcoming match with "Wildcat" Chris Harris...Black Reign came out with the ominous axe weapon and his rat in the cage. However, before the match got underway Wildcat Chris Harris flew off the top rope and hit Black Reign on the floor. It was a no disqualification match, and Harris took advantage by smashing Black Reign with a steel chair. Black Reign and Harris battled each other in the ring, but referee Earl Hebner stopped Black Reign when he tried to use his axe weapon allowing Harris to roll up his nemesis for the win! After the bout, Harris busted open Black Reign and handcuffed him to the steel ring post. Harris went to nail him with a chair but Black Reign kicked him down and used a key to unlock himself. Black Reign took the rat out of the cage and put in on Harris and forced it towards his face as laughed manically!
In the back, Crystal was with Christian Cage and his Coalition and got his comments about his upcoming match with Samoa Joe! Cage told AJ Styles and Tomko he wouldn't need their help tonight as he would take care of Joe himself...
It was time for the Tag team Gauntlet match, as AJ Styles was out first. The second participant was The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels as the former Tag Team Championship partners would face off to start it. A new man would enter every minute. Out next was Homicide, who went after Daniels and then AJ. Next was Chris Sabin representing the Motor City Machineguns, followed by Havok of Serotonin. Petey Williams was out next, who hit the Canadian Destroyer on Havok! Homicide was eliminated by The Fallen Angel, then AJ Styles tossed out Chris Sabin. Brother Devon of Team 3D was out next, followed by Jimmy Rave. Brother Ray of 3D was out next and joined Brother Devon in tossing out Havok. The next participant was Raven, but he went out quickly as Team 3D threw him over the top. Shark Boy was the next entrant, but he was eliminated by Brother Ray. The Guru Sonjay Dutt was the next entrant. Team 3D then eliminated Petey Williams and Jimmy Rave. BG James was the next participant, followed by Hernandez of LAX. The next entry was Tomko, who went after Team 3D and eliminated the both of them! Primetime Elix Skipper was the next entrant, followed by Alex Shelley who eliminated BG James. The next entry was Lance Hoyt, who was led out by Christy Hemme. Hoyt tossed Elix Skipper over the top on his head, eliminating him. The next participant was Kip James, who eliminated Dutt. Eric Young was the final entry into the bout. The match came down to AJ Styles, Alex Shelley and Eric Young, as Shelley and AJ worked together to eliminate Young! Sabin and Tomko rejoined their teammates for the final tag team bout to determine a winner. After an amazing battle between both team, AJ Styles rolled up Chris Sabin with a handful of trunks to get the pin and win for he and Tomko! Styles and Tomko are now the number-one contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championship!
In the back, JB spoke with Joe about his bout against Christian Cage who promised he would destroy Cage tonight!
After Christian Cages entrance, the Samoan dancers came out to introduce Joe. The Samoan Submission Machine blasted out of the entrance and immediately went for Cage in the ring. Joe unleashed hell on Cage, brutalizing him in the ring and on the outside with a full-court press of offense. Cage battled back and gained the advantage, grounding him with a headlock and then a sleeper hold. Later, Joe regained the advantage and hit a Death Valley Driver on Cage, but he kicked out of the pin. Cage went for a top tope frog splash, but missed, allowing Joe to hit a powerbomb which he reversed into an STF submission hold. Later, Cage nailed a top rope inverted DDT on Joe but Joe kicked out just in time! Cage went for the Unprettier, but Joe reversed it into the Clutch! Cage grabbed the ropes to force the break, but Joe was relentless and refused to release it! Referee Rudy Charles forced Joe off Cage, which resulted in Joe nailing the referee! Joe hit the Muscle Buster on Cage as security hit the ring, but Joe laid them out as well. Referee Andrew Thomas came out to officially disqualify Samoa Joe. After the bout, Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal came out to try to get Joe under control, but he threw them out of the ring. Joe then used a t-shirt to try to choke out Cage! Jim Cornette hit the ring, as did his giant enforcer Matt Morgan who finally pulled Joe off using brute strength. Cornette pleaded with Joe to stop and leave the ring. Joe obliged, but shot Cornette and Morgan the middle finger before doing so.
In the back, JB interviewed Kurt Angle about his World Title match against Abyss. Angle was irate over losing his matches and what went down with Sting. Kevin Nash came in and tried to talk some sense into Angle, but Kurt told Nash to go to hell!
For the third time tonight, Kurt Angle made his entrance to the ring for the main event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Abyss! The battle started with Abyss trying to wear down the champion and even playing mindgames with him. Abyss eventually went for a press slam, but Kurt slipped out and clipped the challengers knee. Angle then went to work on Abyss knee, focusing his attack on it for several minutes. Angle refused to let up on the knee, weakening it for an eventual attempt at the ankle lock submission. Abyss fought back and nailed the Shock Treatment, but Angle kicked out. Later, Angle went back to work on his opponents knee then hit a moonsault for a two-count. Angle then ripped off Abyss boot, exposing the ankle to inflict more punishment. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam out of nowhere, but could only get a two count on the champion. Abyss went for a piledriver, but Angle reversed it into the ankle lock! Abyss was in agony as he couldnt reach the ropes and eventually tapped out! Kurt Angle beat Abyss and retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship!
Following the bout, manager James Mitchell appeared on the screen and told Abyss the time has come for hell to be unleashed, and his chariot had arrived! A hand ripped through the bottom of the mat and swallowed Abyss into the hole as the broadcast went off the air! Was it Judas Messias?
* Matt Hardy def. Deuce * Chuck Palumbo def. Kenny Dykstra * Batista & Kane def. World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali & Finlay * Cruiserweight Champion Hornswoggle def. Jamie Noble (Count-out) * Rey Mysterio def. Chavo Guerrero ("I Quit" Match)
Results:Summer fizzles, but SmackDown sizzles By Louie Dee September 7, 2007 CINCINNATI Summer may be unofficially over after Labor Day, but the first Friday Night SmackDown after the holiday weekend proved that tensions remain hotter than ever as Unforgiven approaches. What started with a main-event pair of grudge rematches in the Queen City this week ended with a potential harbinger of what lies ahead at the pay-per-view extravaganza on Sept. 16.
In the first of the grudge rematches, Batista & Kane once again defeated World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali & Finlay, just as they did last month at Saturday Nights Main Event. Little did the champion and The Animal know, however, that they would come face-to-face once more at the end of the second rematch.
In that battle, Rey Mysterio furthered his quest for revenge on Chavo Guerrero, defeating his bitter rival in a brutal I Quit Match. Rey took a page out of the Guerrero playbook, forcing Chavo to quit by hanging him upside-down from the turnbuckles and repeatedly bashing his knee with a steel chair the same tactic Chavo used last October, when he put Rey out of commission during their first I Quit Match on SmackDown.
Thats when the fireworks truly began, as The Great Khali came out to confront his Unforgiven challenger. Rey attacked, but the massive champion retaliated and nearly squashed Reys head like a grape with the Khali Vise Grip. The Animal came to the aid of his fallen friend, but the damage had been done; Rey was beaten and badly bleeding from the mouth, a ghastly visual that even Batistas thunderous spear on Khali couldnt erase from our fans minds. There was something General Manager Theodore Long could do about it, however: He changed Unforgivens World Heavyweight Championship Match from Khali against Mysterio to a Triple Threat Match between Khali, Mysterio and The Animal. Read more about this turn of events
In another Unforgiven stunner, Matt Hardy earned a championship match for the pay-per-view, but not exactly the one he wanted. While he challenged MVP to a United States Title clash, Hardy found out that he and his new partner would instead defend their WWE Tag Team Championship against former champs Deuce & Domino. As team captain, MVP then graciously set Matt up in an impromptu match against Deuce, a bout MVP helped his partner win with some timely outside interference. Read more about MVP & Matts night
When a druid appeared in the ring moments after a video played trumpeting Undertakers return, Mark Henry thought he had his chance to begin punishing The Phenom and his minions. Unfortunately, as soon as Henry got his hands on the druid, the lights went out; when they returned, Undertakers minion was gone and all the self-proclaimed Silverback had to hold on to was his black cloak. While the Worlds Strongest Man may have left Cincinnati disappointed, he hopes to sing a different tune when he finally meets Undertaker in Music City, U.S.A. Memphis, Tenn. at Unforgiven.
Speaking of disappointment, Friday night was another bad one for Jamie Noble. With a match against Cruiserweight Champion Hornswoggle on tap, the No. 1 contender formulated a plan to use Lucky Charms as bait to capture the Leprechaun underneath a heavy box before their bout. Sadly, his Wile E. Coyote-esque scheme didnt quite come to fruition; like many of the less-than-cunning Looney Tunes canines plans to capture Road Runner, Nobles plan ended with him on the business end of a backfire, as the clever Cruiserweight Champion trapped his challenger inside the box instead.
Making matters worse, neither Shannon Moore, who watched Nobles wacky plan unfold, nor Jesse & Festus who finally made it to SmackDown, but were too amazed by the talking box to realize what (or who) was inside helped Noble out. The match began without him, and while he finally freed himself, he wasnt able to get to the ring to beat referee Charles Robinsons 10-count, giving the champion a count-out victory. Once the No. 1 contender finally got in the ring, some well-placed marbles took him down long enough for the pint-sized prankster to scamper away.
In other action, Michelle McCool once again got the best of Victoria when Chuck Palumbo defeated Victorias boy toy, Kenny Dykstra. McCool, who came to ringside with Palumbo on his motorcycle, later thwarted Victorias attempt to ride away on Chucks chopper. A big kick from JBLs favorite Diva floored the multiple-time former Womens Champion, allowing Palumbo to take care of business inside the squared circle and finish Dykstra with the Full Throttle.
Labor Day may mark the unofficial end of summer, but the season doesnt truly end until after Sept. 21. Be sure to save that date, as SmackDown will celebrate the close of one season and the dawn of another with a bang the marriage of Theodore Long & Kristal Marshall on the season premiere of SmackDown in Atlanta. As the bride and groom revealed this week, Atlanta-based R&B sensations Jagged Edge will be on hand to sing their song at the ceremony, and perhaps do some thuggin and buggin with Mr. and Mrs. Long. One thing is for sure: Its going to be steamy in Hotlanta on the final day of summer. Holla!

- In the main event of Thursdays broadcast, Abyss pinned World Champion Kurt Angle during a non-title tag team bout that saw Abyss team with Black Machismo Jay Lethal against TNA World Tag Team Champions Kurt Angle and Sting. If Abyss can repeat his win this Sunday, he will be crowned the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion! Following the main event bout, Abyss former manager James Mitchell appeared in the arena, leading to Abyss attempting to chase him down. At that point, Team Pacman hit the ring and spraypainted both Angle and Sting!
- In addition, Tomko defeated Kazarian in singles action. Robert Roode tried to interfere in the bout early on, but it backfired on him. Following the bout, Ms. Brooks tried to check on Kazarians condition, but Robert Roode yelled at her for doing so.
- Also on Thursdays broadcast, Samoa Joe defeated Raven despite interference by AJ Styles, who tried to cost Joe the match. Following the bout, Tomko joined AJ and eventually Joes PPV opponent Christian Cage in attacking the Samoan Submission Machine. Cages Coalition handcuffed Joe to the ropes, at which point members of Joes Samoan troupe tried to help. In turn, Cage and his crew obliterated them for attempting to come to his aid.
Elijah Burke & Kevin Thorn def. Stevie Richards & Tommy Dreamer
CM Punk def. John Morrison (CM Punk wins ECW Championship)
Results: Golden grin By Andrew Rote September 4, 2007CINCINNATI CM Punk has known he has what it takes to be ECW Champion. On ECW on Sci Fi, he proved it. After emerging victorious from a Fatal Four Way battle a week earlier, the Straightedge Superstar earned his fourth and final chance against John Morrison for the gold. This time, with untouchable confidence, he succeeded. Read more on this story (WATCH)
The self-proclaimed Shaman of Sexy will now have to rely completely on his furs and boas for his appearance with the absence of the title around his waist. The disappointing loss comes just more than a week after Morrison retained the ECW Championship at SummerSlam in a highly anticipated match. As the new proprietor of the gold, CM Punk can let that chip fall from his shoulder as he starts entertaining other Superstars challenges.
Elijah Burke was another Superstar who had a big Tuesday night. Teaming up with Kevin Thorn, ECWs Guiding Light put away Originals Stevie Richards & Tommy Dreamer. The win for the Experience proves Burke is truly on a roll.
Boogeyman kicked off ECW on Sci Fi with a match against Matt Striker. When the Extreme Educator was chased outside of the ring, Big Daddy V surprised the monster with a vicious clothesline. The referee immediately called the match in Boogeymans favor by way of disqualification. However, when the bell sounded, the worm enthusiast was the only one who seemed broken up. (WATCH)
Later on, The Miz continued his impressive win streak with a victory against Balls Mahoney. The contest was balanced for the most part until the tables took a quick turn and The Miz polished off the ECW Original with a Reality Check.
After being proclaimed the winner of the match, The Miz took the microphone and for the second straight week, corrected the announcement, stating, And the loser is Balls Mahoney. Kelly Kelly quickly rushed to Mahoneys side, only to have The Miz pull her away moments later.
Find out what develops with Striker, Burke and the new ECW Champion. Watch ECW on Sci Fi on Tuesday at 10/9 CT.
NoDQ.com > TNA > Test already finished with TNA Posted by Bobby Spade on 09/05/2007 at 01:07 PM
Source: Wade Keller of PWTorch.com
Andrew "Test" Martin is already gone from TNA Wrestling. Martin was brought in last month and was immediately pushed into a top match at TNA's last PPV. The reason for his firing is his unreasonably muscular physique. At a time when TNA is being investigated by the United States Congress, Martin stuck out like a sore thumb and management was convinced he could not pass a drug test. Test was told he could come back to the company when he loses considerable weight.
Chances are, we've lost you. Either the announcement that we have every character in the game caved your head in with awesomeness or you've skipped down to the bottom to check out which of your favorite Superstars made the cut. Fair enough, but SmackDown's true fans know what this announcement means -- the countdown is coming. Tomorrow, IGN's annual SmackDown Countdown begins and will bring you an in-depth look at a new champion of the squared-circle each day. Who will be up first? You'll have to wait about 24 hours to find out.
Until then, feast your eyes on the roster below, and be sure to check out the separate rosters for the DS and PSP.

By Greg Adkins
September 3, 2007
COLUMBUS, OHIO - Triple H showed Umagas bloody skull for everyone especially Carlito to see. In his first match on Raw this year on Monday night, The Game dispelled any doubt that he was truly back when he pulled off a feat no other Superstar had been able to accomplish. He bloodied and appeared to severely injure Umaga with his sledgehammer after the Samoan Bulldozer and Carlito attempted to brutalize him in a Handicap Match.
Triple H was originally scheduled to face Carlito in one-on-one competition after he had humiliated the Caribbean Bad Apple on Raw last week. However, a vindictive Mr. McMahon changed the bout into a Handicap Match. At first, it seemed the Samoan Bulldozer and Carlito would overwhelm the 10-time World Champion, but he evened the odds with his trusty sledgehammer. The King of Kings proved not only that hes out for blood, but that any opponent who thinks otherwise does so at their own peril. Beware Carlito.
Umagas humiliation punctuated a bad night for him on Raw. Earlier, he had lost the Intercontinental Championship to Jeff Hardy.
Also on Raw:
Things Looking Up for Chairman Mr. Kennedy interrupted Mr. McMahon as he attempted to make amends with his family, Linda, Shane and Stephanie. Kennedy claimed to be the Chairmans illegitimate son, but a lawyer for the mystery woman who filed a paternity suit against Mr. McMahon said DNA tests showed the loudmouthed Superstar was not the child. The identity of the bastard Superstar will be revealed next week on Raw, but the lawyer did drop a clue by saying, Things are looking up.
The Champs Rage Raw General Manager William Regal found out the hard way that Randy Ortons despicable attack on John Cenas father may have created a monster. After Regal arranged a title rematch between the WWE Champion and the Legend Killer at Unforgiven, an intense Cena marched into the ring and locked him in a STFU for several minutes.
Glamazon Lays Down Gauntlet Glamazon Beth Phoenix continued her Diva dominance by woman-handling Maria for a second week in a row and informing our fans that she plans to cash in her opportunity to challenge Candice Michelle for the WWE Womens Championship at Unforgiven.
Santino Gets Spanked Santino Marella accompanied Maria to the ring prior to her match, but insulted our fans and Sandman with his holier-than-thou attitude and obnoxious commentary. Sandman caned Santino over the head and embarrassed him in front of his girlfriend.
Tag Team Showdown at Unforgiven The aerial acrobatics of Paul London & Brian Kendrick proved to be enough to defeat the Self-Proclaimed Worlds Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin. As a result, London & Kendrick are the new No. 1 contenders to the World Tag Team Championship, and will challenge Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch at Unforgiven.
Dont Go Breaking My Heart In a Mixed Tag Team Match, Cody Rhodes teamed up with Mickie James to defeat the odd, singing duo of Jillian Hall & Daivari.
Be sure to catch Raw next week at 9/8 CT on USA Network and find out the identity of Mr. McMahons illegitimate child.
NoDQ.com > WWE > Chris Masters apparently suspended for 60 days Posted by Aaron Rift on 09/03/2007 at 12:54 PM
Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that Chris Masters is indeed a part of the suspension list. He didn't appear at the SmackDown taping on Saturday night. ESPN.com reported on Thursday that Chris Masters was a client of the busted Signature Pharmacy firm, but his name was never implicated in the article by Sports Illustrated. Masters will be out of action for 60 days because he is a second-time Wellness Policy offender. Masters' first suspension took place in late May 2006 due to a problem with painkillers. If Masters violates the policy just one more time, he will be subject to termination from the company.

World Wrestling Entertainment released Raw tag team Cryme Time, Shad Gaspard and JTG, this afternoon.
I haven't heard particulars yet but do know there was an incident this weekend involving Cryme Time and WWE Tag Team champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch that took place on the Raw house show in Terra Haute, Indiana yesterday. WWE Management was dealing with the incident via telephone from yesterday's TV Taping in Cincinnati and made the decision to release the pair at the Raw tapings this afternoon. Given the timing of the release, I'd say this is likely not a Wellness Policy issue but something stemming from the Indiana incident.
Cryme Time were brought up to the Raw roster in September 2006 after spending time working together in Ohio Valley Wrestling. WWE.com has not yet officially announced the release.

Since the departure of Mike Buscci and World Wrestling Entertainment, Tommy Dreamer has been approached to help fill his position since Bucci was the one who originally replaced Dreamer.
The plan is to have Tommy Dreamer help in the interim while the company finds someone new to fill that position full-time. Val Venis and Ty Bailey are two candidates that they had in mind. Bailey is an office executive who works under John Laurinaitis while Venis, a long tenured performer in the company on the RAW brand, has been long expected to eventually slide into an office position.

One of the most tenured performers on the WWE roster, Hardcore Holly, may be done as an active professional wrestler. Holly, who was slated to return to the Smackdown brand, is having continued issues with his arm stemming from his most recent surgery. The word going around at TV is that his condition worsened after the surgery and he's having problems with feeling in the arm. The blame was being put on the doctors. Holly has been with the company since 1995 when he debuted as Thurmann "Sparky" Plugg, the racecar driver.

Batista (Disqualification) Masterlock Challenge - Chris Masters vs. Chuch Palumbo (No Contest) Rey Mysterio def. Finlay to become No. 1 contender to World Heavyweight Championship
Results: Conquests and champions By Lennie DiFino August 31, 2007ALBANY, N.Y. Rey Mysterios return to Friday Night SmackDown saw the high-flying Superstar take part in the Championship Competition to name the No. 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship held by The Great Khali. Also participating were Finlay, Kane and Reys longtime friend Batista. Finlay defeated Kane in controversial fashion and then interrupted the match between The Animal and Mysterio, giving Rey the victory via disqualification. In the final match, The Irishman took on the Master of the 619, with Rey managing to come out on top to earn a championship match at Unforgiven. The Great Khali made his way to the ring, and the two SmackDown Superstars had the most lopsided stare down in the history of sports-entertainment. Read the whole story
From bitter rivals in the ring to a formidable tag team, United States Champion MVP and Matt Hardy took on the WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce & Domino. The champions attacked both MVP and Matt last week during the One-on-One Basketball Challenge, and the U.S. Champion and Hardy looked for retribution. While the young North Carolinian fought his hardest, MVP concentrated on Deuces girl Cherry outside the ring. When Hardy tagged in his partner in a highly unorthodox manner, the cocky MVP retaliated and then picked up the victory to crown new WWE Tag Team Champions. Read the full story
Hoping to shake off the embarrassment of this past Monday night on Raw, Mr. McMahon was in Albany as the search for his illegitimate son continued. Jonathan Coachman paraded out a host of women he believed could be behind the paternity suit, and the Chairman was taken down memory lane once again. The women spoke of their experiences with Mr. McMahon and our fans saw the Chairman in an opposite light from the picture painted on Monday by Triple H. Mr. McMahon then had stern warnings for the rest of the McMahon family words of warning that will play out Monday on Raw when Linda, Stephanie and Shane return to WWE with their lawyers.
Warnings should be issued every time Mark Henry enters an arena and the self-proclaimed silverback once again proved that case. Henry made his colossal presence felt as Eugene interacted with our fans in Albany, demolishing the happy-go-lucky Superstar. After the destruction that has become accustomed to any Superstar in Henrys path, another video played that showcased the return of Undertaker. Has the confidence of the Worlds Strongest Man placed him directly in the path of The Phenom?
One Superstar who has returned to SmackDown with a new fire is Chuck Palumbo. The revved-up Superstar took the Masterlock Challenge issued by Chris Masters, but Masters attacked Palumbo before the challenge could happen. Palumbo managed to fight off Masters, and the two exchanged glares and words as the Masterpiece exited the arena.

Results:Umaga: All the rage By Greg Adkins August 27, 2007
BOSTON - After being dealt a loss at SummerSlam during his Triple Threat Match against Carlito and defending champion Umaga for the Intercontinental Championship, Mr. Kennedy was looking to take his frustration out on his Monday Night Raw opponent, Jeff Hardy. But the rainbow-haired warrior had other ideas.
In a battle of brute force versus high-flying aerial assaults, the two men went back and forth, heaving each other from the ring before an exhausted Mr. Kennedy rolled onto Hardy for the pin. Suddenly, though, ominous drumbeats filled TD Banknorth Garden to announce the arrival of the Samoan Bulldozer.
Umaga trudged to the ring and showed why hes as unpredictable as he is intimidating. While Kennedy slithered from the squared circle, Umaga unexpectedly helped Hardy to his feet before not-so-suddenly knocking him senseless with a kick to the jaw. An instant later the high-flyer would be struck in the throat with a Samoan Spike that left him splayed on the mat and Umaga celebrating his own brutality.
In other Raw clashes, Beth Phoenix continues to offer Womens Champion Candice Michelle a preview of what might come in their eventual encounter.
In a bout with Maria, the Glamazon didnt even wait for the bell to start the match before slapping her fellow Diva around. And despite protests from the referee, the No. 1 contender for the Womens Championship hoisted Maria over her head and paraded around the ring before slamming her to the mat. Smiling at her handy work, Phoenix finally took her leave, with Marias crumpled body lying in her wake.
In tag team action, upstart Cody Rhodes joined with Paul London & Brian Kendrick to challenge Daivari and the Self-Proclaimed Worlds Greatest Tag Team of Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas. London & Kendrick subdued Benjamin & Haas with their aerial wizardry, allowing Rhodes to get the pin on Daivari.
After the match, an enraged Daivari railed against the crowd in Farsi before Cryme Tyme made the scene to shut him down.
No one understands that ying-yang, Shad told Daivari before the pair ripped the Arab-Americans headpiece off for one of their now infamous auctions.
After pocketing $5, Cryme Tyme were confronted by World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch. As the redneck ruffians entered the ring and challenged Cryme Tyme, the wily Brooklyn duo instead made off with Cades cowboy hat and bolted for the audience. But rather than auctioning off the cap, they offered it up to the capacity crowd for free.
