According to a source, WWE stars Chris Jericho and Gregory Helms were arrested Wednesday morning in Kenton County, KY around 5 a.m. They were arrested by the Erlanger (KY) Police Department. Both men were charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.
According to the source, they were both bonded out in about an hour. Kenton County is close to Cincinnati, OH. That is where WWE SmackDown! was taped last night.
During an interview with the Mexican newspaper Esto, Rey Mysterio said that he was two to three years away from retirement. However, he made sure to note that his future in the industry hinges on the reconstructive knee surgery he is getting in April providing he lasts that long.
When asked who will be his replacement as the top Mexican star in WWE when he leaves, he mentioned Dos Caras, Jr. (Alberto Banderas ring name), Super Nova (the son of El Texano) and Incognito; all of whom are in WWE's developmental system. However, he said he doesn't see any of them as his replacement "because WWE doesn't work that way."
Mysterio also said that his match at the Royal Rumble would be a three-way bout with Undertaker and Batista which has since been changed.
TNA expected to be going full-time on Mondays soon Posted by Mark Virginia on 01/27/2010 at 04:49 PM

According to Dave Meltzer, the decision has been made behind the scenes to have TNA Impact air on Monday nights full-time. It's unknown when an official announcement will be made.
The change is expected to be made in early March but it's still unknown if the show will air from 9-11 or 8-10 to give TNA an unopposed first hour.
The plan at this point is to tape shows every other week with Monday being live and a Tuesday taping airing the following Monday.
The general feeling is that the Thursday ratings don't matter and there is more potential for growth of product interest on Monday nights.

Samoa Joe dislocated a rib during Monday's live event in Paris, France. He worked against AJ Styles and Daniels in a three-way bout.
"Dislocated a rib last night. Most fun was explaining the screaming from my room as D-Lo (Brown) popped it back in," Joe wrote on his Twitter account yesterday morning.
He managed to work his scheduled "I Quit" match against Daniels last night in Bournemouth, England.

"Pope is so sick Dr's would not let him wrestle in Glasgow. He has to stay behind until better," TNA president Dixie Carter wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
Latest update on Sid and TNA Wrestling Posted by Mark Virginia on 01/27/2010 at 04:32 PM

Regarding the petition, Vicious wrote: "Petitions don't work...but Sign it anyway just to show them where the Power lies. Spread the Word! Hogan comments on Warrior/Savage joining TNA Posted by Mark Virginia on 01/27/2010 at 02:28 PM
During a recent interview with UGO.com, Hulk Hogan commented on the possibility of Ultimate Warrior and Randy "Macho Man" Savage joining TNA Wrestling.
"The Warrior is not 'alive' anymore," Hogan told UGO.com. "I did a deposition about six months ago where Vince McMahon put out a tape called The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior. And I did a deposition. I sat in a room across from him. No other wrestler would testify. He thought I was actually going to help him, but when I told the truth...I seriously doubt he and I would ever work together again. I did tell the truth at the deposition. He's the worst. He's horrible. There's nobody worse than him in the ring. So hopefully I'll never have to see him again in the ring."
As far as Savage is concerned, despite their past differences, Hogan would love to have him on board with TNA. He feels if Savage dyed his gray beard and got back into shape, he would be good enough to return to the ring.
"I'd LOVE to see the Macho Man," Hogan said. "Dye that old gray Santa Claus beard he's got. Get back in shape. And teach these young guys how to do it because I could sure use his help. He's got a great mind for the business."
Hogan also comments on the removal of the six-sided ring (calling it "a playpen"), when exactly he should have quit wrestling, back shaving tips, and more. You can read the interview in its entirety at http://www.ugo.com/tv/hulk-hogan-interview
DDP talks about a possible return to TNA Posted by Mark Virginia on 01/27/2010 at 02:26 PM
During an interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Diamond Dallas Page said he's talked to Eric Bischoff about possibly joining TNA down the line for a short-term program and perhaps even wrestling. The former WCW World Heavyweight says he has about ten more matches left in the tank.
"Eventually I am sure at some point in time when they need a guest referee I may consider it. I want to do the Piper thing, he shows up for two months and then is gone for nine. That is the only kind of thing I want to do, and I am in the shape to still do it," Page said. "I probably have ten really good matches left in me, and I am not gonna throw them away or just put them out there. If they are willing to pay me to come back, and it behooves me, maybe."
Page briefly worked for the promotion five years ago, highlighted by a main event encounter against Jeff Jarrett at the March 2005 pay-per-view, Destination X. He said he's in good physical shape and noted that he dropped some weight from his wrestling days thanks to his Yoga For Regular Guys program.
"I am in better shape now than I was when I was in the ring. I am not as big, I have lost about 25 pounds because I don't need to carry that weight," Page said. "I am at 230 right now, but I am solid and lean and strong as f***. I can bend over and put my head between my legs, stick my foot over my head and stand one leg. Most guys can't walk around on two legs!"
The TNA Impact taping hotline for Universal Studios has been updated with March 1st and 2nd now being listed as Impact taping dates. It is looking like this will be a live Impact going against RAW. The new taping dates are not listed on TNAs website at this point.
Thanks to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter for the following recap:
Ken Anderson was interviewed last night on ESPN Milwaukee. Regarding going to TNA, he said: "I had wanted to hopefully sign with TNA immediately after my WWE career ended, but I had to make sure that I wasn't stepping into the wrong situation... I just got out of a relationship [with WWE] that wasn't necessarily good for probably both sides for quite some time and I wanted to make sure I didn't make the same mistakes again and setting myself up for failure."
He has signed a contract with them but it's a per night deal. He said Hogan and Bischoff approached him to come on board during the Hulkamania tour of Australia.
"We went back and forth for a while and it was kind of a fun negotiation process. It was actually kind of nice," he said. "When I first started with WWE, there was no negotiating at all. It was, 'Take it or leave it, pal.' It was kind of nice to be able to say, 'This is stuff I'm willing to negotiate on.' They came through and I couldn't have been happier with the debut and I was happy to work with Abyss."
He added: "I like the fact that I was able to go in and tape a whole month's worth of TV in four days. I'm not kidding you. Then you have the rest of the month to rest your body. That's one thing about being on the road 52 weeks per year, and maybe one of the reasons I was injury-prone because I was working five days per week."
Fewer PPVs expected to take place outside Orlando Posted by Mark Virginia on 01/26/2010 at 03:19 PM
Credit: F4Wonline.com
Word is that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff only want to hold the TNA Slammiversary and Bound For Glory PPVs outside of the Impact Zone in Orlando.
The idea is that holding all other events in Orlando will not only save money but will make the company look less minor league when they fail to sellout other arenas.

"In two weeks, we're filming the first three episodes," Santino said. "It will air at first on the dot com, then after that we will get it to a network television."

RVD says WWE thought he signed with TNA Posted by Chris Kaufman on 01/26/2010 at 12:49 PM
Rob Van Dam says WWE was concerned he was going to sign with TNA last week that they blocked his account on WWEs blog page. RVD regularly posts updates for his RVD TV webshow on WWEs Universe page.
The constant rumors that I am or have signed with one of the wrestling companies seems to be getting stronger still, RVD said on robvandam.com. Last week, WWE locked me out of my profile page at WWE Universe because they believed I had signed with TNA!
RVD did not detail his current standing with WWE or TNA any further. He said in an interview last week that he he would return to WWE if the conditions were right, but he has no interest in working their schedule again. RVD did plug that he will be wrestling his first domestic match in years this weekend in Los Angeles at the WrestleReunion convention. RVD is booked for PWGs Saturday night show in a three-way match against Chris Hero and Roderick Strong.
Also in his blog, RVD criticized the DVD cover art for the Wrong Side of Town movie where hes in the lead role. The DVD features Batista on the cover instead of him.
Uh well, he WAS on set for 2 days. Im not bitching that I got screwed here, but if I ever was in a position to bitch that I got screwed over, itd have to feel a lot like this, RVD said.
In an interview with The Sun, TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles blasts the backstabbing nature of rival promotion World Wrestling Entertainment.
The TNA star said he has no interest in going to WWE based on second-hand stories he's heard from wrestlers' experiences in the politically-motivated backstage environment.
"From all the horror stories I've heard in WWE, there's no reason why I would want to go anywhere else. Desmond (Wolfe) and I are going to work together to make this company the best for everybody. Where, in the other company, they will stab each other in the back to get to the next level," Styles said. "It's not about me. It's about us in TNA."
Styles said one year from now, TNA needs to be live and touring "week-to-week" outside the Impact Zone in Orlando. His main reason for wanting to venture outside of Orlando is so he can better gauge the effectiveness of his persona.
"Definitely live. Live every Monday night or Thursday night. I don't care. Just as long as the fans know when it's coming on. And that they don't know what to expect," Styles told The Sun. "That's the biggest thing because with the spoilers, they go on (the Internet) and figure out whatever, but I want to be live going from state-to-state and not just in the Impact Zone."
Styles added: "It's hard to gauge who you are as a character in the Impact Zone because you have the same fans coming in who don't necessarily want to enjoy the show, but be part of the show, and it's hard to gauge how you're doing as an entertainer."
Styles also reassured fans upset about TNA parting ways with its trademark six-sided ring.
"Ring change is kind of upsetting at first, but then once you get in that ring, it brings the memories back - 'Oh, there's so much more you can do.' But, for us, it absolutely does not make a difference to me. That's why it was so bizarre to me at first why they would change it," Styles said. "I heard that maybe the reason was to be taken more seriously as a company. I can understand that. I don't care what it is that gets us to the next level as long as we get there."
Styles and Desmond Wolfe also discuss Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff joining TNA, as well as what fans can expect on the company's current tour of the UK. To download the 21-minute interview, head on over to http://www.thesun.co.uk/
Unified Tag Team Champions DX def. The Legacy Big Show def. MVP Maryse def. Eve Kofi Kingston def. United States Champion The Miz in a Non-Title Match Carlito vs. Kelly Kelly ended in a No Contest Gail Kim def. Alicia Fox WWE Champion Sheamus def. John Cena by Disqualification
COLUMBUS, Ohio - After his co-star on USA Networks Psych, James Roday, was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy, actor Dule Hill was forced to act as Raws sole guest host. No worries, though, since Hill more than held his own with a little guidance from John Cena, who just so happens to guest star on Psychs season premiere this Wednesday at 10/9 CT.
WWE Champion Sheamus def. John Cena by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH) Beware of snake! Thats always sage advice when Randy Orton is slithering around the ring. During the much-anticipated clash between WWE Champion Sheamus and John Cena, The Viper nonetheless made his presence felt.
The Celtic Warrior and an intense Cena battered one another with fierce blows, until Sheamus heaved his opponent over the ropes. As Cena lie outside the ring in pain, The Viper struck. He slithered into the ring, snuck up on Sheamus and dropped his Royal Rumble opponent with a wicked RKO, causing a disqualification. As Orton savored the moment, he also nearly wrecked Cena, who tried to re-enter the squared circle. Cena, however, exacted revenge on his longtime foe when he turned the tables and administered a crushing Attitude Adjustment.

Kirk and current host of BIOs Shatners Raw Nerve talk show will take control as special guest host and welcome Bret Hit Man Hart as he returns to Raw.
Gail Kim def. Alicia Fox (PHOTOS | WATCH) And then there were two. After taking the legs out from under her opponent, Alicia Fox, in the Divas Championship Tournament, Gail Kim advanced and will now battle Maryse for the Golden Butterfly. Unfortunately for guest host Dule Hill, things didnt work out nearly as well. After assuring Alicia prior to the match that his psychic powers allowed him to see her winning, Hill found himself on the receiving end of a bitter slap after the bout. Oh, yes she did!
Carlito vs. Kelly Kelly ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH) After a bit of mix up, compliments of special guest host Dule Hill, Carlito found himself preparing to face Kelly Kelly. Instead, Santino Marella insisted on taking her place, hoping to redeem himself after watching the Best of Raw 2009 DVD, in which he embarrasses himself a lot.
As the Italian Stallion made it to the ring, though, Jack Swagger charged and proceeded to destroy him. You see, for the past two weeks, Swagger had issued an All-American American Challenge, daring anyone on the roster to toss him over the top rope. Well, first Santino obliged him in a shocking turn of events, then the Italian enlisted Mark Henry to do the same. This week, however, it was Santino who was left slack-jawed.
Kofi Kingston def. United States Champion The Miz in a Non-Title Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) United States Champion The Miz should know by now, you mess with MVP, The Franchise Playa is honor bound to mess back. Thats precisely what went down when Miz battled Kofi Kingston in a non-title match after Kofi was personally selected by special guest host Dule Hill for the task. As the match drove on, Montel paid a visit, similar to the U.S. Champs interruption during MVPs earlier match against Big Show. This time, it was Miz who dropped the bout to his opponent, Kofi.
Bret Hart to return to Raw next week; WWE Champion Sheamus against John Cena tonight (PHOTOS | WATCH) They dont come much more stubborn than Mr. McMahon. Not only did The Chairman betray Bret Hart three weeks prior, hes also been refusing the Hall of Famers return to WWE. That didnt sit well with various Superstars, including World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker and Triple H. Now, add John Cena to the chorus. Cena confronted Mr. McMahon with some forceful language that seemed to break through. In fact, a furious Chairman stated that he would see Hart on Raw next week!
Oh, and to punish Cena, he also arranged a contest pitting him against WWE Champion Sheamus, although, frankly, Cena appeared to relish the idea of a rematch.
Maryse def. Eve (PHOTOS | WATCH) If it were a beauty contest, ladies and gentlemen, it would be nearly impossible to pick a winner. Maryse and Eve, however, were competing in a much more ferocious affair: The right to advance in the Divas Championship Tournament. Despite Eves best efforts, it was the conceited Canadian who prevailed and now advances to the tourney finals, where she will face the winner of the match between Alicia Fox and Gail Kim.
Big Show def. MVP (PHOTOS | WATCH) United States Champion The Miz grinned through hyper-whitened teeth as he watched his new buddy, Big Show, prevail over his rival MVP. Just as The Ballin Superstar prepared to tackle his redwood of an opponent, Miz hovered ringside just enough to distract the No. 1 contender to the United States Championship. The interruption proved enough to allow The Worlds Largest Athlete to chokeslam MVP for the win.
Unified Tag Team Champions DX def. The Legacy (PHOTOS | WATCH) Last week, Triple H showed Shawn Michaels the ropes quite literally. In preparing for the Royal Rumble, The Game tossed his longtime friend and Unified Tag Team Title partner over the top rope, making it perfectly clear: It will be every man for himself this Sunday.
Despite any tensions, the DX duo know when to put aside personal issues and get down to business, which is precisely what happened when they faced off against The Legacy. Triple H & Michaels shut down any hope Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase may have had of gaining momentum heading into Sunday.
Finlay def. Batista (Disqualification) John Morrison & R-Truth def. Drew McIntyre & Chris Jericho Cryme Tyme vs. Charlie Haas & Mike Knox (No Contest) The Great Khali & Matt Hardy def. The Hart Dynasty
GREENVILLE, S.C. With Royal Rumble just nine days away, Rey Mysterio decided to do the unthinkable call out World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker. Although Mysterio escaped The Deadmans wrath, he did not fair so well when The Animal came charging into the ring.
After calling out The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio was attacked by Batista (PHOTOS | WATCH) Standing in the middle of the ring, Rey Mysterio called out his Royal Rumble opponent, World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker. After recalling winning a World Title four years ago, The Master of the 619 said The Deadman was the only thing standing between reliving his dream again.
Not phased by Mysterios confidence, The Phenom said Mysterio is only digging his own grave, and will rest in peace just like the many other Superstars who have tried to make a name for themselves against The Deadman.
Then, as Undertaker made his way up the exit ramp, Mysterio shouted into the mic that he is not like the rest who have faced The Phenom. Next, from out of nowhere, Batista viciously assaulted Mysterio with a spinebuster and Batista Bomb, leaving him writing in pain. Finally, as The Deadman approached the ring to witness the carnage, The Animal disappeared into the crowd.
Finlay def. Batista by disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH) In the first match of the night, Finlay was the one who had the unpleasant experience of encountering the angry Animal. After failing to heed the refs call to break a hold outside of the ring, Batista was immediately disqualified. Then full of pent-up frustration at not having an opportunity for the World Title The Animal unloaded on The Fighting Irishman, leaving him in a decimated heap.
Afterward, Batista grabbed the mic to call out Royal Rumble participants Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and John Cena, all the while proceeding to stomp on Finlay. The Animal boldly declared he would win the Royal Rumble Match, and go on to defeat World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker at WrestleMania and break his 17-0 streak.

John Morrison & R-Truth def. Drew McIntyre & Chris Jericho (PHOTOS | WATCH) A match originally orchestrated as a 2-on-1 Handicap Match by order of Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guererro was turned into a standard Tag Team Match by SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long. Before the bell, Long added R-Truth to the battle, which proved to be a beneficial addition for The Friday Night Delight. With a well-timed Scissors Kick, Truth dropped Chris Jericho and covered him for the pinfall. Next week, Morrison and McIntyre will meet in a No Disqualification title match on SmackDown.
Women's Champion Michelle McCool, Layla and Beth Phoenix attacked Mickie James (PHOTOS | WATCH) Claiming that Mickie James is leaving SmackDown for good, Womens Champion Michelle McCool and Layla hosted an in-ring going away party for Mickie James. As usual, the duo hurled insults, such as Piggy James. After exchanging words, the party was spoiled when a full-blown brawl broke out with Maria battling Layla, and Michelle battling Mickie.
Then, Beth Phoenix charged into the ring to join the fray. At first she hesitated as to which side she was going to choose, but then finally grabbed Maria and cleared her from the ring. Next, The Glamazon helped Layla hold Mickie, while Michelle smashed cake in her face and poured a bowl of punch over her head. Mickie was reduced to tears after the ugly assault. Mickie and Michelle will meet again at Royal Rumble. (Match preview)
Cryme Tyme vs. Charlie Haas & Mike Knox ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH) Before this tag team battle could really get going, Kane entered the arena to make a bold statement by tossing all four Superstars from the ring. Clearly, The Big Red Monster is ready for Royal Rumble.
The Great Khali & Matt Hardy def. The Hart Dynasty (PHOTOS | WATCH) Despite the sexy, smart and powerful Natalyas attempt at distracting The Great Khali outside of the ring, his partner, Matt Hardy, took care of business by wrapping up David Hart Smith in an inside cradle to get the win.
