ODB says that Tara might be the champion when the match starts, but ODB says that she will be leaving the Impact Zone with the title. She proved that she can outwrestle everyone in the company. Jeremy brings up the finish of ODB’s match with Kong and ODB tells white bread to zip it. ODB says that Tara needs to go back where she came from where they prance around the ring and dance. ODB says that they wrestle in TNA. They don’t show their skin off and she suggests that Tara came to TNA because nobody wants to see her skin.

Tara’s music plays and she comes out to the ring with her title belt but no tarantula. Tara asks ODB if she was dancing when she kicked ODB’s ass at Final Resolution. Tara comments on ODB’s tattoos and then points out that she is the champion and that is what she came to TNA for and that is all that ODB has to worry about.

ODB calls Tara a joke of a champion and a joke of a woman. ODB calls Tara a cry baby and Tara punches ODB. ODB with a take down and they roll around the ring as we go to credits.

jeff hardy deze avond in tna met Shannon Moore?

Jeff Hardy posted the following message on his Twitter page right after Shannon Moore announced he was going to Orlando to meet with Hulk Hogan:

"Hell yeah Gonna roll with my boy @TheShannonBrand to FLA to put in a good word & check out tha show."

Jeff Hardy will be backstage at the show but he is NOT expected to return to the company. You can bet Hogan and others will make an offer though. It should also be noted that WWE wants Jeff back to work a WrestleMania 26 match against CM Punk so we'll see.

BISCHOFF BLOGT OVER BRET HART OP 4 JANUARI

Bischoff posts blog about Bret Hart and 1/4 Impact

Eric Bischoff posted a new blog entry on his website EricBischoff.com where he discussed this Monday’s 1/4 live Impact special. Bischoff noted that WWE is bringing Bret Hart back to the company because they are “reacting to the competition.”

“Bret will be able to put a painful and personally traumatic part of his life behind him.”

Bischoff also wrote in great detail about TNA’s big step this Monday:

Clearly TNA is up against a Wall Street mega-corp bully with a billion dollar bank account and a Chairman that thinks only he should have any meaningful market share of the professional wrestling business (even though he’s embarrassed to admit he’s in the professional wrestling business). It will be an up-hill battle for TNA indeed.

The real winner though, will be the wrestling fans.

Based on the mind-numbingly stupid Raw I had the misfortune of dropping in on last week, perhaps the fact that TNA stepped up and is at least taking a swing at the bully was enough to make McMahon realize that he could not afford to take his audience for granted and continue to shove tripe down the throats of his Goliath “universe” while David was reaching for a stone.

This Monday Night…win, lose, or draw I have to give credit to the folks at TNA and Spike. They could have taken the easy path and put their best foot forward un-opposed. That would make the most sense to many people. But by at least getting into the fight, TNA is most likely going to gain the awareness and respect of a completely different audience.

And wrestling fans are not only going to have a choice this Monday night, they will most likely see a higher quality product all the way around. And for that they should thank TNA.

VINCE GEEFT DREAMER EEN DEFTIG AFSCHEID

Vince McMahon behind Tommy Dreamer farewell?

    Credit: PWInsider.com

The Tommy Dreamer farewell on last night's ECW was a decision made by Vince McMahon to thank Dreamer for his service to WWE. When Dreamer returned backstage after the match, a lot of the WWE roster was waiting to greet him.

As of this writing, WWE has not removed Dreamer from the ECW roster page on their website.

Fellow ECW Original Taz wrote the following on his Twitter regarding Dreamer's departure: "A well deserved & proper send off for a TRUE Pro & a real ECW orig named Tommy Dreamer."

Report: Melina injured at RAW house show

CENA NIET VAN PLAN DE WRESTLINGWERELD SNEL VAARWEL TE ZEGGEN

Cena says he's not leaving WWE anytime soon
Posted by Chris Kaufman on 12/29/2009 at 05:41 PM

John Cena talked with ESPN.com today about his love for professional wrestling and sticking around the business. Here's what he said:

"I've wanted to do this all my life. I can't imagine doing anything else. Some people as a kid play baseball and basketball and then don't get to do it for a living. I always wanted to be a wrestler."

"I love my job too much to leave it. I'm going to stay as long as my body allows. My wife understands this. She was there with me when I had no money. Granted, sometimes she has to use a cardboard cutout of me at the movie theater to pretend we're on a date. But she understands."

The Bowl game starts at 8:00 p.m. EST, so he'd be unable to make it to RAW in Dayton, Ohio in time.

"This is a special opportunity for me," said Cena. "It's going to be really exciting. I can't really go to too many games because I work for a living!"

Tommy Dreamer Telling Friends He's Headed To TNA

Tommy Dreamer is said to be the source of the rumors indicating he's headed to TNA once he's free from World Wrestling Entertainment as those close to him are saying he has been telling them he's Orlando bound. While those within TNA have yet to confirm his claim, it's been made to clear to him that he has a job open for him if he wanted to become an agent.

While specifics of Dreamer's contract are unclear, it's unlikely WWE would release him in order to allow him to join TNA as a wrestler. Even if he was given a full release without a no wrestling in TNA stipulation, he'd likely have a 90-day non-compete.

    2 TNA RELEASES

It would appear that TNA has parted ways with both Kip James and Cody Deaner as their respective profiles were removed from the roster section on the company website this morning. However, nothing is official regarding their status with the company at this point.

Regarding James, there have been rumblings that he was on his way out of TNA, but there has also been talk of utilizing him as a producer. These rumors have been around for several months now though.

Matt Hardy def. Finlay (ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match)
Evan Bourne def. Mike Knox (ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match)
    Zack Ryder def. Tommy Dreamer

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Land of the Extreme bid a fond farewell to the last remaining ECW Original Tuesday night, as Tommy Dreamer said goodbye to the WWE Universe and ECW on Syfy.

Zack Ryder def. Tommy Dreamer (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Tired of listening to taunts from Zack Ryder, Tommy Dreamer vowed that if he couldn’t defeat Ryder Tuesday night, he’d leave ECW forever, a strong statement from a Superstar who joined ECW in 1993. (WATCH) With all of his heart, soul and strength, Dreamer – a former two-time ECW Champion – fought the cocky youngster from Long Island, N.Y., but ultimately lost the night his career was on the line.

After a DDT from Dreamer, Ryder snuck his leg under the rope, stopping WWE Official Scott Armstrong’s three-count. Ryder was lucky to find himself in the right place at the right time. Moments later, Ryder countered Dreamer’s back suplex and pinned him, sealing the ECW Original’s fate.

Dreamer’s initial shock turned into emotion as he addressed the WWE Universe, recalling his first time in the Izod Center years ago, watching his second-ever WWE event – featuring a live Piper’s Pit – with his best friend and his father. (WATCH)

“This has been my dream since I was 9 years old and I think it totally proves if you have passion for what you do, you can make it anywhere. And I made it in ECW and I made it in WWE,” he said.

Dreamer went on to thank the old and the new ECW, and told the WWE Universe they are his family – a family he’ll miss.

“Thank you so much. I love you all so much,” he said, shedding a few tears.

With the loss, Dreamer – the final ECW Original on the WWE roster – left Tuesday nights, leaving his prized ECW T-shirt in the ring. Amid “E-C-Dub” chants from the WWE Universe, Dreamer paused to hug his wife at ringside and carried his daughters up the ramp as he said goodbye to the Land of the Extreme one final time.

Evan Bourne def. Mike Knox (ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match) (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Raw’s aerial assault artist who first made a name for himself on ECW on Syfy returned to wow the Land of the Extreme. With an awe-inspiring Shooting Star Press, Evan “Air” Bourne sealed an ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match victory over SmackDown’s master of human dissection, the menacing Mike Knox.

Evan Bourne joins Matt Hardy, Yoshi Tatsu, Vance Archer, Ezekiel Jackson and Kane in the ECW Homecoming Over-the-Top Rope Challenge. Two weeks ago, ECW General Manager Tiffany announced an exciting, new concept that will determine who receives the next ECW Championship Match. Over four weeks, the ECW General Manager will invite former ECW Superstars to compete with current ECW Superstars in The ECW Homecoming. Sixteen Superstars compete one-on-one, and eight will advance to The Homecoming Finale, featuring an Over-the-Top Rope Challenge on the Jan. 12 edition of ECW on Syfy. The winner of the Challenge will receive an ECW Title Match against Christian at Royal Rumble!

Only two spots remain in the Over-the-Top Rope Challenge. Next week former ECW Champions Chavo Guerrero, Mark Henry and CM Punk will return to the Land of the Extreme to compete in ECW Homecoming Qualifying Matches. Which Superstars will earn their chance to compete for the ECW Title?

Matt Hardy def. Finlay (ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match) (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Former ECW Champion Matt Hardy returned to the Land of the Extreme Tuesday night to take on fellow SmackDown Superstar, Finlay, in the first of two ECW Homecoming Qualifying Matches. As ECW Champion Christian joined the announce team to size up his possible Royal Rumble competition, Hardy made his ECW homecoming a memorable one. Despite tweaking his knee during the match, high risk-taking Hardy recovered for long enough to hit a Twist of Fate on The Fighting Irishman for the victory.

    Ruthless confrontation (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Tuesday night, Ezekiel Jackson addressed the WWE Universe, explaining that he and William Regal abolished Vladimir Kozlov from The Ruthless Roundtable because he stood in their way of achieving a specific goal – dominating ECW. But The Moscow Mauler interrupted Big Zeke’s speech, attacking him in the ECW ring. As the rivalry between Jackson and Kozlov intensifies, who will prove to be the most dominant force? And how will Regal factor into this?

Kofi Kingston def. United States Champion The Miz by Disqualification
Unified Tag Team Champions DX def. Big Show & Chavo Guerrero
John Cena def. WWE Champion Sheamus by Disqualification

HARTFORD, Conn. - While brilliant singer, rapper and music producer Timbaland dropped some thick beats from his new CD, "Shock Value 2," on the WWE Universe as special guest host, in many ways, the night belonged to a man who wasn’t even in attendance. Mr. McMahon announced that, after a 12-year absence, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart will make a stunning return to WWE to host the very first Raw of the New Year. The pink and black attack is back!

John Cena def. WWE Champion Sheamus by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH)
To kick off the night, John Cena put WWE Champion Sheamus through a table. In retaliation, The Celtic Warrior ambushed his unsuspecting nemesis from behind during an interview. Then, it was time for the two to finally – and officially – clash in the ring during a WWE Title Match.

While the two behemoths rattled the ring, it was Cena who would prevail thanks to a disqualification caused when Sheamus grabbed the referee.

Knowing that a title cannot change hands due to disqualification, a disappointed Cena contemplated the ramifications and suddenly charged The Celtic Warrior, dragging him back into the ring. It was there that Sheamus leveled his rival with a surprise boot to the jaw, not once but twice, before finally leaving the squared circle with his championship.

Unified Tag Team Champions DX def. Big Show & Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Big Show may no longer have Chris Jericho as a partner, but there was one man more than willing to fill his boots: Chavo Guerrero. The self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior” teamed with Show against Unified Tag Team Champions DX.

Guerrero felt he could help neutralize DX mascot Hornswoggle. Well, things didn’t exactly work out that way. In fact, when the little guy made an appearance, it distracted Guerrero enough to ensure Triple H & Shawn Michaels the victory.

The fun wasn’t over just then. Like a man possessed, Jericho had been standing outside The XL Center earlier in the evening pleading for WWE Universe members to sign a petition allowing him back on Raw. When that failed, his former partner snuck him a front row ticket. From that vantage point, the self-important Superstar watched DX prevail and attempted an attack on the pair.

Weary of Jericho’s antics, The Game & HBK relented and agreed to face Jeri-Show the following Monday night in a title match as long as Jericho forgoes his Raw reinstatement campaign if Jeri-Show loses.

Kofi Kingston def. United States Champion The Miz in a Non-Title Match; Kofi Kingston def. United States Champion The Miz by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It’s almost a shame that words don’t equal reality. If they did, United States Champion The Miz would never lose. In real life, though, reality bites. When the boastful braggart butted heads with Kofi Kingston, the crowd favorite came out on top after pegging Miz with Trouble in Paradise.

Thanks to the stipulations of the match, Kofi’s win allowed him to immediately compete against Miz in a match for the title.

As a result of his victory over Miz in the previous bout, Kofi was granted a title match. Fortunately for The Dreadlock Dynamo, Miz still appeared dazed after their initial clash in which Kofi prevailed with Trouble in Paradise.

Just when it looked as if Kofi would capture the U.S. Title, Randy Orton interfered. His unprovoked attack on Kofi quickly caused a disqualification, which meant that the title could not change hands. While Kofi may have secured the victory, The Viper’s strike robbed him of the championship. To help settle their months-in-the-making dispute, Kofi and Orton will battle in the ring next Monday night.

Mr. McMahon announced Bret Hart’s WWE return to host Raw (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Never say never. Mr. McMahon accepted Bret “Hit Man” Hart’s request to serve as special guest host of the first Raw in 2010! While The Chairman initially declined the WWE Hall of Famer’s appeal, the goading of Shawn Michaels, of all people, appeared to change Mr. McMahon’s mind.

Michaels had interrupted The Chairman to ask for a rematch between himself and The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI. Mr. McMahon informed Michaels that not even he can impose his will upon The Deadman. At that point, HBK turned his attention to Hart, who he insisted he would be more than happy to see host Raw. "Only good things can happen with Bret in WWE," according to Michaels. He then shared a furtive glance with The Chairman, appeared to have a change of heart and gleefully granted Bret’s request.

Maryse def. Kelly Kelly (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Last week, Kelly Kelly earned herself an early Christmas present during a “Santa’s Little Helper” Match when she pinned Maryse. This week, however, the conceited French Canadian was only too happy to exchange Kelly Kelly’s triumph for one of her own. Even after the bell had sounded to signal that Maryse had won, she continued to attack her adversary and then offered Divas Champion Melina a message: Her title would soon belong to Maryse.

Cody Rhodes def. Mark Henry (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It’s amazing what one can overcome when their back is to the wall. With Randy Orton still seated ringside from the earlier match featuring Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes could feel the pressure bearing down on him – not only from his Legacy leader but also from his sizable opponent, Mark Henry. Rhodes faced The World’s Strongest Man in a match requested by The Viper as a test of sorts. Fortunately for the young Superstar, he won after rising above the significant strength and size advantage of Henry.

Ted DiBiase def. Evan Bourne (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the wake of a harsh assessment of The Legacy’s 2009 performance compliments of Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase stepped into the ring against Evan Bourne with more than a few things to prove. As The Viper sat in judgment at ringside after threatening to pummel either DiBiase or Cody Rhodes if they lost, the star of The Marine 2, out on DVD December 29, proved his worth to Legacy by downing the high-flyer and showing his mettle to the group’s demanding leader.

John Cena challenged WWE Champion Sheamus to a rematch (PHOTOS)
John Cena may have been a pretty good boy this year, but he still didn’t find the WWE Championship in his Christmas stocking. Rather than wait until next year, though, Cena instead set up a table in the ring and called out current WWE Champion Sheamus.

Cena seemed hungry to start their rematch and to make it a Tables Match, the same bout in which Cena lost the title at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs two weeks earlier. The Celtic Warrior, however, refused to be dictated to. He dismissed Cena’s suggestions and attempted to leave, but the chiseled challenger had other ideas. Cena grabbed the WWE Champion, slamming him through the table with an Attitude Adjustment and setting the stage for a WWE Title Match to take place later in the night.

Tommy Dreamer appearing on ECW this week?

Lashley talks about possibly leaving wrestling

FightLine.com spoke to Bobby Lashley last week, who will make his much anticipated Strikeforce debut at Strikeforce: Miami on January 30th. While the former ECW champion is trying to juggle MMA and professional wrestling, he admits that he might have to give wrestling up.

"At the time when I was taking that break and I was just wrestling, everyone thought that I’d be able to do both [wrestling and MMA]," said Lashley. "We don’t know if that’s going to happen. Immediately when the press release came out that I was with Strikeforce, I got a call from all the wrestlers, they wished me good luck. And anything they can do to help out, they’re there for it."
