Two weeks ago, WWE star Chris Jericho attended the Sacramento Film Festival to promote a screening of his latest film, and during a Q and A session following the screening, TMZ cameras picked up some shots of him making a few racial slurs to the two guys hosting the Q and A. Below is an excerpt from the TMZ article:
"Jericho was at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival two weeks ago ... for a screening of a movie in which he appears. During a Q&A session, Jericho referred to the moderator several times as "Hadji" -- a term sometimes used as a racial slur against Middle Easterners.
After the first wave of slurs -- and a random shot at Paris Hilton -- the host jokingly takes Jericho's drink to sniff it for booze, when Chris chimes back, "it's apple juice ... fag."
According to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter, there has been recent internal discussion about what to do with talent and their Twitter accounts. This has been brought on by the likes of Matt Hardy, Chavo Guerrero, and Shad Gaspard making controversial late-night comments and even going back several months to Joey Styles and his political rants against Barack Obama. There are some in management, although not many, that see Twitter as a promotional tool. Others in management want all talent banned from posting messages under their gimmick names, or at least Tweeting after Midnight. The company wants to avoid being connected to anything that would upset those who matter such as sponsors and advertisers.
Working under the name Vance Archer, former TNA wrestler Lance Hoyt made his WWE debut at tonight's ECW taping in Providence, Rhode Island. He defeated a local wrestler in a squash match.
Shortly after parting ways with TNA this past February, Hoyt came to terms with WWE. He has been appearing in the company's developmental promotion, Florida Championship Wrestling, in the meantime.
Play3-live.com conducted an interview with Edge and here are some highlights...
WWE wrestler Edge says hes progressing toward a full recovery from his severe ankle injury this summer, but hes not sure if he will be able to return in time for WrestleMania 26 in March. Edge told the Micromania Game Show in France that he was given a six-to-nine-month recovery period by his doctors and hes currently at the four-month mark. Edge says hes at the point where he can put weight on his ankle and slightly push off again.
When Edge went down with an injury, WWE planted seeds for an Edge vs. Chris Jericho match down the road when Edge is recovered. Edge was tag champion with Chris Jericho at the time of his injury and he was replaced by Big Show. Edge offered his thoughts on Big Show replacing him. It is very a good choice, Edge said. If I had to choose a partner, I think that it would be him or Undertaker.

Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho def. Finlay (PHOTOS | WATCH) Despite being the man that loves to fight, Finlay met his match this week in the form of the always cocky Chris Jericho. The Irishman didnt back down from the tag team champion, but he just couldnt get his hands on his slippery opponent. In the end, The Belfast Brawler was brought down hard with the Codebreaker and pinned by the abrasive SmackDown Superstar.
Paul Burchill def. Tyler Reks (PHOTOS | WATCH) In unsurprisingly brutal fashion, Burchill won a quick and vicious battle against the West coast warrior on WWE Superstars. Once again, Reks displayed his impressive athleticism and in-ring prowess, but it was the vile Englishman who had the upper hand when it mattered. Burchill saw his opening and put the nail in the coffin finishing Reks off as the referee counted 1-2-3.
Jack Swagger def. Primo (PHOTOS | WATCH) For the second Thursday in a row, Jack Swagger put Primo down in impressive fashion with his brutal gutwrench powerbomb. Tonights victory wasnt an easy one for the The All-American American, though. In the opening moments of the match, the explosive Primo used his speed and agility to gain firm control of the action. Yet, one false move turned the tables back in Swaggers favor and it ended up being a gutwrenching loss for the Puerto Rican Superstar.
Santino Marella def. Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS | WATCH) Days after Chavo and Santino paid their tributes to Ozzy Osbourne on Raw, the two performers faced off with Santino catching the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior off-guard with a roll-up for the win. For the most part, the two Superstars were evenly matched throughout the bout, but in the end, it looked like Chavo had gained enough momentum to lead him to victory. But when a cocky Guerrero went for the cover, the Italian Superstar reversed the attempt into a pin of his own and picked up the victory.
- TNA has still been trying to bring in JBL but at this point he's said to be not interested.
- DDP has been telling people that he might be interested in going to TNA if his upcoming indy matches turn out well. With that being said, he is not expecting to have another TNA run.
Regarding Lacey Von Erich, many within TNA feel she has zero locker room etiquette and is not respectful, on top of being "horrible in the ring." The feeling is she won't even last six months in the company.
In another circumstance which has her co-workers scratching their heads over, she's the only person backstage who stays in her wrestling gear all day long at television tapings. The third generation wrestler refers to it as her "costume."
- Adult film company Shanes World has announced they will be releasing a sex tape starring former WWE developmental wrestler Catalina White this month. White was a model that WWE signed last year and ended up using the name Saylor James in FCW. She was released from her developmental deal in January of this year. Haze introduces the other aspiring models in the movie Kari Leigh, Bridgett and Kaylee, each of which sent in their own amateur sex tapes. We had a contest for amatuers to send in their homemade movies, and these girls were hands down the hottest, said Shanes World VP of Operations Valerie See. We got hundreds of submissions but only these lucky few made the cut. Combined with the Catalina White scene, this is a tremendous movie that were really excited to bring to all the retailers and fans out there.

Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson (PHOTOS | WATCH | ECW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ANNOUNCED: PHOTOS | WATCH) The dynamic duo of Christian & Yoshi Tatsu earned an impressive tag team victory on Tuesday night over ECWs seemingly unstoppable forces, Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson. The ECW Champion pinned The Moscow Mauler after a devastating Killswitch. But as Captain Charisma and the Japanese Superstar celebrated their remarkable win, William Regal ran into the ring to attack the ECW Champion. Christian spotted Regal and the two began to brawl. But then Jackson and Kozlov got involved, triple-teaming Christian. The three-on-one ambush against the ECW Champion left him stunned, especially after The British Brawlers brutal Regal Stretch.

Paul Burchills proposition for The Hurricane (PHOTOS | WATCH) For months, Paul Burchill has focused his attention on one thing proving his theory that The Hurricane and Gregory Helms are one in the same. This week, The Ripper called out the masked hero and offered him a challenge face each other one last time in a singles match. If Burchill wins, The Hurricane must unmask in the ring and reveal his true identity. If The Hurricane wins, Burchill and his sister, Katie Lea, must leave ECW for good. The masked Superstar accepted the proposition, saying, The Hurricane will not back down from a fight.
Burchill and The Hurricane will finally meet in the ring on ECW in two weeks. Which Superstar will prevail? Will Burchill be forced to leave the Land of the Extreme? Or will The Hurricanes real identity finally be exposed?
Shelton Benjamin def. Zack Ryder (PHOTOS | WATCH) After a locker room area encounter with ECWs newest Diva, Rosa Mendes (WATCH), the Long Island, N.Y., Superstar faced Shelton Benjamin in singles action. The Gold Standard capitalized on Ryders preoccupied state he was captivated by the sight of Rosa reapplying her lip gloss at ringside and hit him with Paydirt for the victory.
Is this love at first sight for Ryder and Rosa? Will the Diva continue to distract Ryder enough to get in the way of his success on ECW?
Vance Archer def. local competitor (PHOTOS | WATCH) After emerging from ECW General Manager Tiffanys office, and shocking the Diva, as well as Abraham Washington and WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas with his intense presence (WATCH), Vance Archer made his in-ring debut on ECW. In mere moments, the massive Superstar from Dallas who stands 6-feet-8-inches tall and weighs 270 pounds quickly earned his first victory over a local competitor.

William Regal def. Goldust (PHOTOS | WATCH) Moments after William Regal learned he finally got his wish an ECW Championship Match against Christian The British Brawler met Goldust one-on-one. Without help from his associates, Regal earned a victory over The Bizarre One after hitting him with a Running Knee Trembler and pinning him for the win.
Will Regals win give him more of the momentum he needs leading up to his ECW Championship Match next week against Christian? Tune in to ECW on Syfy Tuesday night at 10/9 CT.
- The UK Sun today reports that actor Mickey Rourke wants another shot with WWE. This time Rourke wants to wrestle. Apparently he wanted to wrestle Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 25 but a contract he had for Iron Man 2 filming prevented him from doing so.
Biographer Sandro Monetti, author of a new book about Rourke titled "Mickey Rourke: Wrestling with Demons" told the Sun:
"Mickey has great respect for WWE owner Vince McMahon and says he is the man who turned wrestling from a sport for fat guys in speedos to a contest for superfit athletes."
Cryme Tyme's Shad Gaspard had posted a message on Twitter stating that he had recovered from Swine Flu. He also implied that this is why he missed the recent SmackDown match and the Bragging Rights PPV. Gaspard is now saying that he doesn't have Swine Flu:
"Thanks all for the support! I was just sick no swine flu...Cryme Tyme has the dopest fans!"
"Ok people...how we doin out there? But seriously I was just feeling a lil sick...any one have good pig flu jokes? I will post the best ones"
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson got some negative press last month after he refused to sign an autograph for a fan. According to ContactMusic.com, the former WWE champion is making it up to the fan in a big way.
It all started when a security guard on the set of his upcoming film "The Other Guys" approached Johnson and asked for an autograph and a picture for his son. Johnson refused, saying he can't sign autographs for every single person who asks.
The story was reported in the New York Post newspaper and caught the attention of Johnson. Determined to make the situation right, he tracked down the fan and offered him a walk-on role in the 'Other Guys' movie and an autographed photo for his son. A source told Contact Music, "He was very apologetic."

GN: You recently signed with an organization called TNA Wrestling. What made you decide to get back into the mainstream wrestling world? Easy AdSense by Unreal
HH: Thats a huge deal for me, man. I never thought that they would bring me in to like the Vince McMahon role with another wrestling company kind of like I did with WCW years back. I actually used to have this same role back in the day, except it was unofficial. Vinces dad ran the league while I was down here in Minnesota kicking ass with Verne Gagne and when he died, they talked me into coming back. So I came back and found that Vince McMahon, who owns the company now, didnt really understand the business. So I moved in next door to him in Connecticut and taught him all about lifting weights and riding motorcycles and partying like a mad man; and then I taught him about the wrestling business and making money. And now Im doing that again with TNA Wrestling.
The reason I decided to get back into it is because Im ready to flip this business over again. Its getting real boring with only one company stuffing this programming down your throat and not allowing fans and the wrestlers the chance to make a choice, and I think its really important to be able to make that choice instead of just having one option and one option only.
GN: How do you think your presence will help improve the visibility of TNA Wrestling and overall buzz about wrestling in general?
HH: The proof is already out there. In the course of a few days weve got more buzz going for TNA Wrestling then its had in seven years. For example, no other wrestling organization had ever been able to get into Madison Square Garden in New York for like, 100 years, because Vince owns it and his family owned it before him. So I came in and was like, Watch this. And we did a press conference at Madison Square Garden.
All I told these guys was that they should give me a chance. If they didnt like what I was doing they can tell me to take a hike, but let me have the chance to come in and take a shot at it. Let the fans and the other wrestlers take a look and decide for themselves what theyre in to and Im confident that I will get this thing rockin.

WORCESTER, Mass. - Despite a clear lack of guitar, drums and satanic imagery, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne rocked the DCU Center nonetheless. The heavy metal madman and maven entered to the energetic screams of the WWE Universe and proceeded to arrange a scorching set list for the evening.
Chris Jericho def. WWE Champion John Cena and Big Show in a Non-title Triple Threat Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) At Survivor Series, WWE Champion John Cena will face down Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a Triple Threat Match. That same evening, Big Show and Chris Jericho will battle each other and The Undertaker in their own three-way encounter. Tonight, however, Cena, Show and Jericho were compelled to clash with one another in a Triple Threat Match that would put alliances to the test.
Consider that test aced. The Unified Tag Team Champions not only bested Cena when Jericho scored the pin, the two worked in tandem to punish The Champ when he was down. When DX, who had been sitting ringside to observe, charged the ring to mount a defense, Show & Jericho also managed to pummel them, leaving Triple H, HBK and Cena woozy on the canvas as the Unified Tag Team Champions beamed down at their handy work.
Ricky Hatton to serve as Raw special guest host next week When Raw hops the pond to England next Monday night, native son and former world welterweight champion Ricky Hatton will go the distance as Raws special guest host. The show, featuring the boxing great, is sure to pack a wallop, so dont miss any of the action.
Alicia Fox won Divas Battle Royal to become No. 1 contender for Divas Championship (PHOTOS | WATCH) Alicia Fox climbed into the squared circle with Eve, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim and Brie and Nikki Bella as each of the sexy, smart and powerful Divas vied to become the No. 1 contender for the Divas Title. Current champion Melina watched as Kelly Kelly eliminated Gail. Then, as Eve looked to be in fine position, Jack Swagger strolled down to the ring to watch the match, distracting Eve and allowing Alicia to capitalize. The leggy Diva then eliminated Kelly Kelly for the victory, guaranteeing her an opportunity at capturing the Butterfly.
The Osbournes and The Great Khali hosted Raws Got Talent (PHOTOS | WATCH) In her role as a judge on Americas Got Talent, Sharon Osbourne has seen her share of talent-needy contestants. However, when Sharon, her husband Ozzy and The Great Khali lined up to judge the first-ever Raws Got Talent, the three were confronted with what can best be described as talent-impoverished Superstars.
First up, Santino Marella did his best Ozzy and bit the head off of a Batman doll. Next up, Chris Masters flexed his sizable pecs to the music of Crazy Train. The final insult, though, arrived courtesy of Chavo Guerrero and Jillian, who massacred the Ozzy-Lita Ford duet Close My Eyes Forever. Compounding the abomination, the tone-deaf Diva then belted out her rendition of Britney Spears Oops, I Did It Again.
Sharon would have none of it. She insisted that Jillian pipe down before unleashing a well deserved slap across the face. After Chavo began screaming at Ozzy to control his wife, Khali quickly laid out the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior. Then, Hornswoggle, dressed as a young Jack Osbourne, climbed to the top rope and dropped a Tadpole Splash, effectively pulling the plug on Chavo.
Kofi Kingston, MVP & Mark Henry def. Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (PHOTOS | WATCH) Randy Orton probably figured he could ambush Kofi Kingston last week and get away with it. After all, he and his Legacy henchmen are an intimidating trio. Unfortunately for Orton, Kofi doesnt intimidate easily. In fact, once struck by The Viper, Kofi trained his considerable ire on Orton, destroying the prized NASCAR auto given to him by Legacy.
Kofi wasnt finished there, though. This week, he faced Orton in singles competition and appeared to be getting the best of his rival when Orton bailed from the ring and regrouped with Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase in a plan to attack his opponent. Raw guest hosts Ozzy and Sharon had anticipated the dastardly deed, however, and quickly arranged for Orton & Legacy to face Kofi and his new partners, MVP & Mark Henry.
Once Randy Orton tried to get dirty by pulling Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase into his match with Kofi Kingston, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne forced The Viper and his Legacy crew into a Six-Man Tag Team Match against Kofi, MVP & Mark Henry. The six Superstars traded blows until The Worlds Strongest Man sealed the victory for his squad with help from Kofi, who nailed Orton with a heavy-hitting crescendo sending him flying out of the ring. Moments later, Rhodes found himself trapped under Henry, who scored the pin for his team.
Sheamus def. Jamie Noble (PHOTOS | WATCH) Sheamus is not to be trifled with. The Celtic Warrior made a strong statement last week, during his Raw debut, that he will be a force to reckon with on Monday nights. Slamming an exclamation point on that statement, Sheamus again punished his opponent, Jamie Noble, and vowed to end the career of the West Virginia native. The Celtic Warrior may have even lived up to his vow; he left Noble motionless outside the ring, forcing EMTs to carry him out on a stretcher.
United States Champion The Miz def. Evan Bourne (PHOTOS | WATCH) Last week, United States Champion The Miz found himself counted out during his loss to the high-flying Evan Bourne. Perhaps thats why the arrogant athlete was none too pleased to be forced to put his title on the line against Air Bourne. With his gold hanging in the balance, Miz focused his game, and this time, he managed to ground Bourne to retain his title.

The first match arranged will pit The Miz in a title bout against Evan Bourne. Secondly, the duo helped Sharon set Kofi Kingston in a match versus Randy Orton. And finally, Ozzy, despite Big Shows protests, arranged a Triple Threat Match pitting The Worlds Largest Athlete against WWE Champion John Cena and Chris Jericho.
