Thanks to TJ Church for sending in this live report from the Cleveland Smackdown taping:
-There was only 1 dark match. Dolph Ziggler ripped on the people of Cleveland, before beating Jimmy Wang Yang.
-As announced weeks ago by the venue Website, the dark match main event after the show was DX vs. Legacy in a steel cage.
HHH & HBK come out to a huge reaction. HHH does his usual opening, until after he says the line about "the millions watching at home". HBK signals to him to cut that part. HHH asks around for the time. When told it's 10:30, he tells Shawn, "Raw doesn't go off the air until 11, so we're good." HBK whispers in his ear, & HHH says, "What're we doing on Smackdown?" More whispering gets, "You mean this isn't gonna be on TV at all?"
HHH says, "...thousands in attendance, &... Well, because it's Tuesday, but nobody will see any of what's just happened until Friday, but we're here anyway, so let's make the most of it,...".
Legacy comes out to huge heel heat. HBK holds the cage door open for them, but HHH is making them back away from it. DX appears to have problems deciding who will start the match for them, so the official reminds them they can tag in-&-out. They then do so about 10x without any bells or offense happening.
DX wins the match with simultaneous final moves. HHH seems to have gone backstage quickly after, but HBK circles the ring, shaking hands & interacting with fans.
Due to a change of plans, Tracy Brookshaw (professionally known as "Traci Brooks" of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling fame), 34, will not be gracing the pages of Playboy after all, let alone the cover of the magazine as previously planned. Instead, her nude pictorial will be released online.
Playboy sent out their September 2009 Cyber Club VIP Newsletter this morning to subscribers of the "Playboy Cyber Club" detailing the month's upcoming pictorials. It's noted that Brooks will be featured on the pay website later this month when her nude photos are released on the 17th.
Regarding Brooks, the newsletter noted the following: "Ever wanted to see a TNA wrestler's T & A? Here's your chance as Total Nonstop Action grappler Traci Brooks takes it all off, exclusively for Cyber Club members."
It was reported last week that Playboy had opted to pull the female grappler from her scheduled appearance in the publication in favor of a tribute to the late Farrah Fawcett, who passed away this past June.
Had things gone as scheduled, Brooks would have been the first TNA Knockout ever to grace the cover and pages of Playboy. Brooks was indeed set to grace to the cover of magazine at one point as she told the UK's Sun newspaper a few weeks ago that she would appearing on the cover and going on a media tour in October promoting the issue.

CLEVELAND Irish Eyes were smiling upon Sheamus Tuesday night, as The Celtic Warrior finally found his pot of Extreme gold with a victory over Goldust on ECW on Syfy.
Sheamus def. Goldust (No Count-Outs, No Disqualifications) (PHOTOS | WATCH) After a double count-out finish to their last match (PHOTOS | WATCH), and an intense confrontation recently on The Abraham Washington Show, Sheamus and Goldust were determined to put their intense rivalry to the test once again. In a No Count-Outs, No Disqualifications Match, The Celtic Warrior defeated The Bizarre One. But the win didnt come easily, as Goldust powerfully fought off numerous attacks by Sheamus who at one point retreated up the ramp, mid-match before finally succumbing to The Irish Curse. Is this the end of the road for Sheamus and Goldust? Has The Celtic Warrior finally proven hes the dominant Superstar?
Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov def. local competitors (PHOTOS | WATCH) With William Regal at ringside, Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov easily defeated two local competitors in ECW tag team action. The British Brawler further punished one of his associates opponents with The Regal Stretch, but was interrupted by ECW Champion Christian and Tommy Dreamer, both wielding Singapore Canes. While Jackson and Kozlov put up a strong fight, Christian and Dreamer prevailed, gaining the upper hand against No. 1 contender Regal and his devious associates. On next weeks ECW, Christian & Dreamer will meet Jackson & Kozlov in tag team action. The ECW Champion and the ECW Original have momentum going into this match, but do they have what it takes to defeat Regals unstoppable associates?
The Abraham Washington Show with Gregory Helms (PHOTOS | WATCH) After an introduction by his new sidekick, WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas, Abraham Washington welcomed this weeks special guest Gregory Helms. The ECW backstage interviewer has been surrounded by controversy lately. Paul Burchill and his sister, Katie Lea, are convinced Helms is really The Hurricane. But during the talk show, the superhero Superstar appeared on the Hurri-Cam to challenge The Ripper to a match on next weeks ECW on Syfy. Will Burchill finally prove his theory that Helms is really The Hurricane? Will the masked Superstar triumph against his foe?
Shelton Benjamin def. Zack Ryder (PHOTOS | WATCH) Unable to compete as tag team partners on last weeks ECW (PHOTOS | WATCH), Shelton Benjamin and Zack Ryder squared off against each other. Regardless of their competitions to determine which is the more entertaining Superstar, The Gold Standard came out on top when it came down to a match. Despite a strong effort by Ryder, Benjamin hit Paydirt on the cocky, Long Island-bred Superstar to seal the Extreme victory. Is that the end of these Superstars rivalry? Or will Benjamin and Ryder continue to clash on Tuesday nights?

Thanks to Jon Krakower for sending in the following:
I was at the Raw show tonight, and after the show went off the air, with DX, Cena and Dusty Rhodes all lying in the ring.... Legacy and Orton are walking up the ramp as Triple H gets on the mic and says "Well that didn't go as planned... Why don't you guys come back down here and see if you can do it again.... Legacy starts to walk back up the ramp, and were chased by DX and Cena..(Dusty Rhodes is still shaking off the RKO).
A ref comes out, and now we have a 6 man tag match..... Pretty back and forth, with HBK taking a lot of the punishment...At one point, Cody Rhodes has HBK down, and then knocks Cena and Triple H off the apron.... Dusty Rhodes gets up on the apron, and begs HBK to tag him in...He gets the tag, then gives Cody the elbow, and continues to do the same to Legacy... We then see Orton as the last man standing, surronded by DX, Cena and Dusty Rhodes.... Rhodes hits the elbow, HBK with Sweet Chin Music, Triple H with the pedigree and the match ends with Orton tapping out to the STF.
After the match, HBK gets on the mic and says, "Ya know Cena, every time we come out here to save you, we forget to do our pre match stuff" As Triple H was getting ready to do his thing, HBK, Cena and Rhodes were having a very funny moment.... Finally Triple H gets to do the "Are You Ready...", then HBK gets ready to do his thing, but then decides to let Dusty Rhodes say "If you're not down with that..." Then all 4 men do the crotch chop, pyro and all. HBK and Triple H then entertain, and Hi-Five the fans in the front row..... I was one of them.... It was all pretty cool, especially after it seemed like we wouldn't see much action for a main event.... Although not televised, it made the night amazing.
Matt Hardy's WWE Universe blog on brother Jeff's WWE departure has been removed.
WWE.com blog entries related to departures have a history of disappearing; earlier this summer, Candice Michelle's exit comments were pulled despite being complimentary of the company. Hardy's comments on Jeff similarly featured nothing outlandish or unnecessarily revealing, with the only particularly newsworthy element being the claim that Hardy was working with herniated discs and other nagging injuries.
In adding the blog being to his MySpace account, Hardy noted that he has "no idea" why the blog disappeared from WWE's website.
TNA President Dixie Carter was a guest on the Live Audio Wrestling Internet radio show on Sunday night. Host John Pollock discussed TNA's current PPV formula of one event per month, Carter says she is not a fan of the monthly PPV format and she would like to see the formula shaken up.
"I'm not a big fan of monthly PPVs, quite honestly, but you have contracts that keep you held in and bound at times," Carter said. "We're definitely talking about trying to shake things up and do things differently in the future."
Despite the fact that TNA is a privately held company and their actual PPV buyrate figures are never officially released, the data that does get out indicates that TNA has never come close to breaking 100,000 buys for an event and change is needed.
Carter repeated her recent claims that changes are coming to TNA and that she would be addressing many of the elements of the product that have become stagnant or too formula.
"I work very, very closely [with the creative team]. I'm not going to profess to be a wrestling writer. I am good at challenging people. It's not just ratings, but other things as well," Carter said. "We've made a lot of changes internally."

DETROIT Always a welcome sight to the WWE Universe, special guest host and WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, made his stint on Raw a memorable one with three title matches as well as a contest he made famous: A Bull Rope Match. However, while "The American Dream" may have started out being cheered by the fans in attendance, they quickly turned on the WWE Legend when he joined The Legacy in a brutal attack on both John Cena and D-Generation X. But in a bit of poetic justice, the tables were turned once again, as Rhodes fell victim to a brutal RKO, courtesy of WWE Champion Randy Orton.
WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes ended in a no contest when The Legacy attacked guest referee John Cena, drawing out D-Generation X (PHOTOS | WATCH) Before Raws main event between WWE Champion Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes could begin, special guest host Dusty Rhodes reminded John Cena and the WWE Universe that theres nothing he wouldnt do for his son. Following his declaration, both Orton and Cody Rhodes turned on The Vipers WWE Breaking Point opponent. The third member of Legacy then joined his associates in attacking Cena.
The treacherous act got the attention of D-Generation X, however, who rushed to the ring in spite of the three-on-two odds. After Dusty Rhodes clobbered Triple H with his boot, the multi-generational Superstars got the best of DX. But as Legacy stood proud over Cena, The Game and HBK, yet another double-cross occurred, with Orton hitting Hall of Famer Rhodes with a lightning-quick RKO. Though Cody Rhodes was initially angry about The Vipers attack on his father, he reluctantly fell in line.
D-Generation X watched The Rise & Fall of WCW with Dusty Rhodes, but were interrupted by a new Shockmaster (WATCH | MORE DX) Throughout the night, Raws special guest host Dusty Rhodes was joined in his office by D-Generation X. Together, the three watched selected clips from the new DVD, The Rise & Fall of WCW (order it now on WWE Shop). Though the DVD is chock-full of fantastic moments, theres one in particular that Triple H was missing: The coming of The Shockmaster. After explaining the moment to Rhodes and Shawn Michaels, the three were joined by an all-new Shockmaster, who revealed himself to be none other than Santino Marella.
Divas Champion Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix (PHOTOS | WATCH) Earlier in the night, Beth Phoenix defeated five other sexy, smart and powerful Divas to earn a title opportunity for the Divas Championship. With little time to rest or prepare for the match, The Glamazon faced Divas Champion Mickie James on the very same night. Participating in her second match of the night may well have taken its toll on Beth, who despite her impressive physical abilities, was unable to defeat the fan-favorite Mickie.
United States Champion Kofi Kingston def. The Miz, Jack Swagger and Carlito (PHOTOS | WATCH) In recent weeks, The Miz has made bold claims about his abilities and how he should be the one wearing the United States Championship around his waist. On Raw, special guest host Dusty Rhodes gave Miz as well as Carlito and Jack Swagger a chance to prove themselves, when he set a Fatal Four Way Match in which Kofi Kingston would defend the title. Despite an impressive showing from the three challengers, it was The Jamaican Craze who won the day, pinning Carlito to retain the United States Championship.
Mark Henry def. Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Big Show by disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH) Though theyll be facing one another at WWE Breaking Point as part of the Unified WWE Tag Team Match, Raw saw Mark Henry square off against Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Big Show one-on-one. Though The Worlds Largest Athletes tag team partner, Chris Jericho, was able to send a clear message to their nemeses by defeating MVP, Big Show made his point by smashing his opponents head into an exposed turnbuckle. Though the act was a punishing one, it also resulted in The Worlds Largest Athletes disqualification, giving Henry the win.
Hornswoggle def. Chavo Guerrero in a Bull Rope Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) Once again, Chavo Guerrero was forced to compete against Hornswoggle on Monday Night Raw. This time, however, their contest would be one that Dusty Rhodes made famous: A Bull Rope Match. While Swoggle came to the ring dressed for success as a rope wielding cowboy, Guerrero was forced to either wear a cow costume including oversized head, or forfeit the match.
As both Superstars struggled to attain victory by tying up their opponent, the self-proclaimed Mexican warrior grew frustrated with his outfit, removing the cow head and going after Hornswoggle. Luckily, another Superstar rushed to the leprechauns aid the high-flying Evan Bourne helped distract Guerrero, insuring Swoggles victory. To add insult to injury, the mischievous Hornswoggle climbed to the top rope, where Bourne placed the cow head on the leprechaun, who then landed a Tadpole Splash on his opponent.
Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho def. MVP (PHOTOS | WATCH) After being defeated by MVP & Mark Henry during a tag team match on the previous Raw, Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho was eager to get payback on The Ballin Superstar. The nefarious Superstar pulled out all the stops during their match, pinning MVP for the win and sending a clear message to Porter & Henry, who will challenge Jericho & Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships at WWE Breaking Point.
Beth Phoenix def. Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Rosa Mendes, Jillian and Alicia Fox in an American Dream Six-Diva Battle Royal, earning a Divas Title match (PHOTOS | WATCH) As decreed by special guest host Dusty Rhodes, not only would there be a United States Title Match on Raw, but Mickie James would also defend her Divas Championship. To determine which of WWEs sexy, smart and powerful Divas would have the title opportunity, an American Dream Six Diva-Battle Royal was held. Making use of her amazing strength and power, Beth Phoenix bulldozed the competition, becoming the last Diva standing and earning the right to face Divas Champion Mickie James later in the show.
Raws special guest host, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, announced a WWE Title Match between champion Randy Orton and "The American Dreams" son, Cody Rhodes (PHOTOS) Before Raws special guest host, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, even took to the ring, the WWE Universe knew they were in for a special night. Announced were both a Fatal Four Way for the United States Title in which champion Kofi Kingston would defend against The Miz, Jack Swagger and Carlito, as well as a colossal contest pitting The Worlds Strongest Man, Mark Henry against The Worlds Largest Athlete, Big Show.
Once the dancing and gyrating WWE Legend made his way to the ring and quieted down the WWE Universe in attendance, Rhodes announced that though he recognizes that his son, Cody, is arrogant, the second-generation ring warrior is well on his way to becoming a star. To prove his point, "The American Dream" set a WWE Championship Match as the nights main event, in which his son will challenge his mentor Randy Orton for one of WWEs most coveted titles.
To make the contest even more interesting, the Hall of Famer announced that he would be in his sons corner as the No. 1 contender to the WWE Title, John Cena, acted as guest referee. This shocking decision lured out not only The Viper, but also Cody Rhodes, who stood side-by-side with his father in defiance of the leader of The Legacy.

- TNA has opened the official Bound For Glory website at; http://www.boundforglory5.com/. They are really hyping this as Sting's "curtain call". They have a ticker that has different "Sting Facts" throughout his career and different info on the event and downloads/classic matches, etc.
TNA officials are considering bringing in former WWE Women's Champion Jazz for a role in the Knockouts division.
Last year, TNA had Jazz pegged for the role of The Beautiful People's bodyguard, but she was pregnant at the time. The role later went to Mickie "Moose" Knuckles before she went down with a freak injury.
As reported yesterday, former TNA Knockout Roxxi will be returning to the company for the first time since her release at this week's iMPACT! tapings in Orlando. The initial belief is she is being brought back for the Knockouts Tag Team Tournament, but could get her job back if she performs well and garners a strong reaction from the crowd. Many within TNA noted how quick the company was to bring her back after Rhaka Khan fell out of favor politically due to the Kurt Angle situation. Roxxi was let go following a backstage issue with Khan earlier in the year.
-- It was announced during this past Thursday's episode of iMPACT! that Madison Rayne would be teaming up with a mystery partner against The Beautiful People in the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Tournament. It would be appear that Rayne's partner will be former Knockout Roxxi as she be working Monday and Tuesday nights' iMPACT! tapings in Orlando. Jeremy Borash made the announcement yesterday afternoon during his webcast on U-Stream. We noted this on the website yesterday.

The tournament will commence at the No Surrender pay-per-view on September 20th.
More quotes from Rey Mysterio about his suspension
The following is an Babelfish English translation from a record.com.mx interview with Rey Mysterio where talks about his suspension from WWE:
In the eye of the Hurricane. Thus a day feels King Mysterio after it put it to the WWE under the magnifying glass to violate the regulation of prohibited substances, situation that worries to him about two things: the handling that occurred to the information and, secondly, the effect that will have this on its image.
Nevertheless, the star of Tijuana gave the face and spoke long and tended on this embarrassing case in which he has been himself inmiscuido due to that, he indicates, like a lack of tolerance on the part of the doctors of the company in which he toils, since his doctor, David Ciao, that works with the Shippers of San Diego, prescribed that medicine to him.
-How you have taken this suspension?
Malísimo, is done to me that the situation was handled very badly. I must say that it is well that this program of prohibited substances is indeed to clean the image of the fighter, but does that it of a different form, because they do since it, to me becomes very unjust.
-It is listened to you annoying, what happened?
Doctor Black (the one in charge of the tests in WWE), that they call to him, did not want to hope to that my doctor spoke to him so that confirmed to him that the medicine that I was using I was prescribed, and decided to suspend to me.
I was three weeks of vacations, I returned to work, I walked in Spain and Germany promoting the Summerslam and was until Wednesday that I returned that the doctor says to me who if for Thursday my doctor does not clarify the one of the medicine, was going to suspend to me by 30 days.
And your doctor did not call?
I said to him what happened and it said to me that would clarify it, but I do not know if it did not do it in time and it forms correct because they decided to suspend 30 days to me, that to me become unjust because it is a medicine clarify by a doctor. If I did not have a medical prescription because she would understand this suspension because I made something illegal, but is a reason here, a logic of because I used the substance by which I gave positive.
-What is the name of the medicine by which it is positive?
I do not have it at the hand, is in the bottle, but it was prescribed for my knee and my arm. It is medicine via oral.
-So serious what was doping?
They say When you that you left positive in something, they check all the levels and mine he was almost null, that is to say, if there is a scale from the one to the 100, I left with two percent, then was something so minimum that the form becomes unjust in that has been handled.
The one that does not give the specific cause of the suspension makes unjust?
Without a doubt, because they do not give the opportunity to clarify me what happened or to give my version. To me it becomes unjust not of the company, but how they handle the system of antidoping.
-What will happen with the Intercontinental Championship that you were going to defend in Breaking Point?
The truth I do not know, not what will happen, I am taking everything to the day. The unique thing that worries to me is the negative side, but the good thing is that I can clarify thus what happened and avoid rumors. My position worries to me to my work, and what is going to happen, but most important it is the image and what public goes to think, because was handled because I made something illegal, and was not thus.
You come to Mexico to the tour in October?
Yes, I am programmed for October, do not have problem, am put for those dates.
-You will have pay enjoyment?
As this is new for my, I do not know what is happening nor what will happen, I until Tuesday does not arrive at television will know how she is that east system works. Of 15 antidoping that has done me year in the last, had passed all except this one. Perhaps if it had reprobated four followed he would be understandable did that me to a side or they exposed to me of this form, ( ) and I believe that I do not deserve east type of treatment.
-You feel it like a low blow?
I do not know. What I am going to do is that when my doctor has clarified everything, if he is not that it did already it, that I had a medical prescription, I am going to cause that the company puts there that although they suspended to me because the doctors of the company did not want to wait for the call of my doctor, at the end of accounts my doctor spoke and clarified that it had the medical prescription. And that in spite of all that, the suspension is indeed. Also I will speak in my page Web.
- At last, it is not the first time binds that you to the use of prohibited substances, you feel in the sight?
In the past they said that King Mysterio used anabólicos to grow his body, but everything has been only speculations, nothing verified, and this is something that affects to me, mainly mentally, because it concerns much my public to me and I do not know how they are going to react.
In an interview with the newspaper Record in Mexico, Rey Mysterio talked about how he was suspended for a drug he was using for his knee and arm that he has a prescription for. Mysterio explained that between going on vacation, and then being sent to the United Kingdom by WWE to promote the Summerslam PPV, he wasn't notified about his test failure until Wednesday. At that point, Mysterio was told he had to provide the prescription record by Thursday and he claimed it wasn't enough time. After that, WWE announced that Mysterio was suspended.
Matt Hardy posted the following on his WWE Universe blog:
I'm gonna miss my brother, more than any of you will ever know. He's not only my Blood Brother, but he's my best friend in the entire world. When we were together and tight, we were inseparable. When when were separated, we were tighter and more together than ever before. Not only will I miss him, but so will the WWE, Smackdown, the boys and girls in the locker rooms, his friends, and his legions of worldwide fans.
I wanna thank Jeff for literally breaking his back for the sake of our business day in and day out. The fans should think him for all of the unselfish entertainment he has provided them in the past. Jeff would be the first person to admit he's not perfect-but his love to make children happy, and to make adults "OHH" and "AHH" as he performs for them is second to none. And I mean NONE! Jeff has always been respectful towards his fans, and the majority of fans have respect for him. For any of those "know it all guys" of the IWC that don't respect Jeff Hardy-you're all hypocritical ****es. Period. Jeff made one of your favorites, CM Punk, a legitimate main-eventer on Jeff's way out the door. So maybe you can at least find respect in that fact.
Jeff has two herniated disc in his back, suffers from "Restless Leg Syndrome"-which makes it hard for him to sleep at night, and also has some nagging neck injuries. He needs time away to heal physically and mentally. As disappointing as it is, look at what Jeff said.. "It's not goodbye forever, it;s goodbye until next time." I thank every friend and fan that has supported myself and Jeff from day one, when we were just "extra talent" appearing on WWE programming. No one, and I mean NO ONE thought we would come as far as we did.. And contribute so much to this great business.
God Bless You Jeff Hardy! Thanks for being so supportive of me throughout my career. In honor of you, I feel I have to step up and be all I can be on Smackdown. I will bust my ass to be better than ever now, especially since I'm healthy for the first time in a long time. And by that, I mean it's time for me to be what I'm destined to be, The World Heavyweight Champion.

As the shocked WWE Universe stood witness, Hardy accepted the huge gamble. SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long arrived to set the stipulation in stone. He then dropped a bombshell, stating that at the brand new pay-per-view WWE Breaking Point, where every main event will be a submission match, the winner of the steel cage clash would face Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship. Later that night, after years of incredible feats of reckless abandon, fate finally caught up with Jeff Hardy in a moment of tragic irony.
