WWE Launching a Talent Review System Posted by Steve Carrier on 06/08/2013 at 05:04 PM
WWE posted a new job listing Friday for a Performance Center General Manager.
The job listing also includes more details on the Performance Center. WWE plans to launch a "Talent Review System" later this year, which the GM would oversee.
"The new Performance Center will give WWE the ability to train more potential performers than ever before through a comprehensive program including in-ring training, physical preparedness, and character development."
"Supervise the development and manage the day-to-day process of WWEs Talent Review System that will be implemented in late 2013. The overall review process will entail working with senior leaders from Stamford and the WWE Performance Center on the execution of this bi-annual program focused on accelerating the development of our Orlando-based Superstars."
Currently new talents stay in developmental until one of two things happens, WWE finds a spot for them on the main roster or they are released from the company. The indefiniteness of developmental appears to be changing later this year.
The job listing also notes that talent will have access to money management, media training, and wellness education as part of the Talent Relations program.

The fan then pushed the chair back at Styles which infuriated Styles. AJ then shoved the fan and they then exchanged words as Styles got back in the ring. AJ then got back out of the ring, hopped the rail and headed to the actual exit of the building, apparently challenging the guy to a fight outside. But, even with the fans daring him too, the guy wanted no part of it. After the altercation, Styles got back in the ring to finish his match against Bobby Roode.
Jeff Hardy Speaks On His Drug Past and His Injury Free Career
TNA Wrestler Jeff Hardy was a guest on "The Regular Guys" morning show on Atlanta's Rock station 100.5 recently. The short segment was mainly to promote TNA live events in the area but Hardy did also speak on a number of other interesting topics.

Jeff also spoke about being lucky to have a career this long without a major injury so far: Ive been really lucky. Ive had no surgeries up to date. In my second motor cross race I broke my collar bone. Thats the only bone Ive ever broke. But in professional wrestling, Ive been real lucky.
multiple sources have confirmed that Jeff Hardy was hurt following this past Thursday's Impact Wrestling tapings. Not much is currently known about the extent of his injury at this time however he did compete at last night's TNA house show stop in Rome Georgia. All indications are that Hardy was simply sore following his match this past Thursday.
- Jack Swagger will be able to return from his hand injury at the end of this month but there will be restrictions on how he's used and he will have to be careful if they have him do anything in the ring. Word from WWE is that Swagger will have full clearance to wrestle in late August.

WWE Smackdown Results June 7, 2013 Uniondale, New York Report by: Mike Tedesco of Wrestleview.com
"Then. Now. Forever." The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video recaps the contract signing from Monday Night RAW between Chris Jericho and Paul Heyman. Jericho called Heyman a jackass. Jericho will compete against CM Punk, a Paul Heyman client, at WWE Payback next Sunday, but tonight he will face another Heyman client in Curtis Axel. They then show Randy Orton accidentally hitting Daniel Bryan during a tag match on RAW, costing them a match against The Shield. Bryan demanded that he wasn't the weak link. Randy Orton and Team Hell No will be guests on Miz TV.
The Miz makes his way to the ring to kick off the show with the Miz TV segment as Michael Cole and John "Bradshaw" Layfield do the introductions for the show. Miz welcomes the crowd to the most must-see WWE talk show in history. Miz says his guests tonight came within a fraction of a second of being the first team to beat The Shield in a six-man tag team match. However, after that match they had some issues. Miz then introduces Randy Orton, followed by Team Hell No.
Miz thanks them for coming. Miz says The Shield pinned Daniel Bryan last Monday night on RAW. For weeks, Bryan has been harping on the idea that people consider him the weak link of Team Hell No. Bryan says before Miz starts stirring the pot, he has something he'd like to say. The crowd is chanting Bryan's name. Bryan says he's had a lot of time to think since Monday, and he knows that Orton didn't intend to hit him. Orton says he finally figured it out. As for Kane, he's the best partner anyone could ask for. He pushed Kane away when all he was trying to do was help him against the Ryback. Kane asks if this means he's letting go of this weak link garbage. Bryan says he wouldn't call it garbage.
Miz says this is something personal to Bryan. Last Friday night on Smackdown, Bryan single-handedly took out all three members of The Shield. The crowd chants "Yes." Miz asks Bryan if he feels he's getting the respect he deserves. Bryan says, "Sometimes." Miz asks if other times he feels people still look at him as a goat-faced vegan troll. Orton tells Miz to watch what he says to "the kid" because his head is all messed up. Bryan says his head is not messed up. Kane agrees that it is messed up. Bryan asks if it's because he wants people to respect him as well as his partner. Kane says he respects Bryan as well as Orton and everyone in attendance. The crowd cheers. Orton says he tends to respect Bryan less and less the more he whines about being the weak link. Bryan asks if Orton is calling him a whiner.
Kane tells him to let it go. They all want to beat The Shield, and they had them beat last Monday. Bryan says, "Yeah, until I got caught, right?" Kane says he didn't say that. Bryan says the only reason he got caught is because Orton got in his way. Orton says we're right back to where we started in Crazytown. Miz asks how Orton feels about Bryan blaming him for the loss. Kane tells Orton not to answer that, and he tries to get Bryan to leave with him. Bryan tells him to get his hands off him. Kane is his partner, and he's supposed to have his back. Kane screams that he does have Bryan's back, and he always has. Kane says he's getting real tired of Bryan not trusting him. Bryan asks why he should trust him. Bryan asks how many times Kane has left him in the ring with The Shield alone. When people call him the weak link, does Kane come to his defense? Kane says he does, but Bryan says it is half-hearted. The dirty little fact is Kane was forced to team with him. If he had Randy, John Cena, or anybody but him, he'd be out of here in two seconds. Kane looks visibly upset, and he says he's had enough. Kane says Bryan has lost his mind. Kane says Orton is on his own, and he leaves the ring.
Miz does his "really" thing to Bryan. Miz asks if we've seen the breakup of Team Hell No on Miz TV. Bryan says everyone in the WWE Universe is going to blame this on him. Bryan then starts screaming "No!" Teddy Long's music hits, and the special assistant to the General Manager comes out to the stage. Long says Bryan sounds like a man with a lot to prove, and he's out here to give him another chance to prove it. Tonight, he'll be facing the Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield. Since his partner Kane doesn't want anything to do with him right now, he has no choice but to pair him up with Randy Orton. Orton doesn't look happy about that.

Chris Sabin Interview: Talks Return To TNA, Injuries And More
TNA wrestler Chris Sabin was recently interviewed by Ryan Rider of CJAD.com. Below is a quick recap
On his return to TNA following his injuries:
"Im just happy to be back. It was really intriguing to sit at home injured and see Austin Aries make that rule that you can trade in the X Division Title for a world title shot. That gave me a lot of motivation."
Fears of getting injured again:
"Theres always that voice in the back of your mind. I wasnt expecting to get injured the first time or the second time. Im going to try to ignore that voice in my head that says what if?. You just kind of have to do whatever you can and bury that voice in your head. I gotta watch out for my health. Ill always try to do the best I can to put on the most entertaining match for the fans but first and foremost, I gotta protect myself."
Being in TNA since March 2003:
"Literally, I spent a third of my life in TNA. When I first started for the company it was so small, we were just doing Nashville and weekly PPVs. The company has grown and grown and grown. I like to reflect that, and hopefully Ive grown as a person and as a wrestler. I plan on continuing to become a better wrestler."
World Title aspirations:
"When your dream is to become a wrestler and its taken away for two years with two knee surgeries, you sit at home and reflect. You think about things, think about your life. I didnt do this to go half way; I did this to go all the way. I did this to become the best. And that will always remain my goal."
TNA Impact Wrestling Duluth, Georgia (Gewitt Center) June 6, 2013 Commentators: Mike Tenay, Taz Report by: Josh Boutwell of Wrestleview.com
Fresh off the heels of this past Sundays Slammiversary tonights Impact opens up with highlights from the PPV. At ringside Tenay hypes up the signing of Rampage Jackson and then Aces & Eights music hits. The World Champion Bully Ray makes his way down to the ring fresh off his successful title defense against Sting. Bully stops in the aisle way and looks down at what I thought was a small child until I realized this person has a full on beard, what the hell? Bully heckles Tenay as he comes to the ring.
Bully says that its obvious everyone is happy to see him and then he introduces himself as the guy that defeated Sting at Slammiversary. Bully says Slammiversary hasnt been kind to Sting and reminds us that last years Slammiversary was the first time Sting got jumped by Aces & Eights. Bully says he singlehandedly beat Sting and now the rumor is that Sting might retire. Bully says TNA has no more heroes because hes destroyed them all. Bully says nobody can do a damn thing about it so there is only one thing left to do, put Bully in the Hall of Fame. Bully says Dixie Carter needs to get out of the mirror for 5 minutes and come down to the ring, but before he can say anything else Hogans music interrupts him.
Hogan is wearing a glove over his burned hand. He says it sounds like theyre in Hulkamania country but he does have to give the devil his due. He says Bully was on the top of his game Sunday night but says it was really ALL the members of Aces & Eights that beat Sting. Hogan then asks Ray if he really just heard him say there is no more competition left and Ray says he knows damn well he heard it. Hogan says he begs to differ with Bully because all Summer long the competition is going to be hot because the BFG Series will be going down. He says next week the list of wrestlers for the BFG Series will be announced on the Official Selection Show (think the official Selection Show NCAA does for the NCAA Tournament or the BCS does for the BCS Bowl Games). Hogan says thats not all because tonight it will be Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy!
Hardy comes out onto the stage and looks down at Bully as Bully freaks out. Hardy climbs into the ring and Bully retreats and says Hogan cant just do that. A MASSIVE Hardy chant erupts and Hogan says as the GM he can do whatever the hell he wants and since this is Jeffs first match back on Impact he wants to make Hardy feel real at home. Hogan says that Ray doesnt have to worry because the title wont be on the line but to make Hardy feel at home there WILL be a monster ladder in the ring! Hogan says just like last time they fought in a Ladder Match there will be something hanging on the line. Hogan says that something will be the thing that Ray used to screw both Hardy & Sting over a hammer! Hardy raises the hammer and Hogan says whoever retrieves the hammer can use it in the match (he actually said as a ladder hangs from the ceiling but yeah you get the point).
A video package hyping up the BFG Series is shown.
In the back Chavo & Hernandez talk about their title loss at Slammiversary. Chavo says that he and Hernandez have both been added to the BFG Series and says this is what its all about, a shot at the World Title. Bully asks why Aces & Eights doesnt have anyone in the BFG Series and hes going to take care of that right now. I said it Sunday night (on Twitter) and I still feel this way, that was the most brutal Knockouts match Ive seen since Gail & Awesome Kong had the Street Fight years ago. Backstage Brooke talks to Taryn and says that people are still talking about her match with Gail. She says she had no idea that sweet little ref she hired was going to be running with one of the best wrestlers in the world. She calls Gail a badass but Taryn says she had everything coming to her. Taryn asks Brooke if she is still in love with Bully but Brooke says they need to keep this discussion about wrestling.
Non-Title Match Hardcore Country Mickie James vs. Taeler Hendrix
This is the first time weve seen Taeler in a while and yes she is still as hot as ever. Something about that broad, good lord. Mickie mockingly claps as Taeler comes to the ring. They lockup and Mickie forces Taeler into the corner but releases clean and gives her a thumbs up and claps for her. The sarcasm is just oozing out of Mickie right now. They lockup and this time Taeler controls Mickie with a wristlock but Mickie cartwheels into a reversal. Taeler counters into a Firemans Cary Takeover. Mickie gets a little irritated at that but gives her a thumbs up again and claps for her. Mickie gets Taeler in a side headlock this time and as Taeler tries to shove her into the ropes Mickie holds onto it as she drops to her knee. Finally Taeler shoves Mickie into the ropes only to eat a shoulder block from Mickie. The fans then erupt into a hilarious Cena sucks chant. Mickie hits the ropes and cartwheels over Taeler as she drops down and then attempts a clothesline but Taeler avoids it by kind of matrixing backwards. Taeler then hits a dropkick for a nearfall. Now a big YES chant starts up. Mickie offers Taeler a handshake and then puts her in a waistlock. Taeler reverses it but Mickie tosses her into the ropes and then Mickie charges at her, but Taeler swings her leg through the ropes and around into a kick to the gut. Taeler climbs up top but Mickie sells a knee injury and grabs ODB as she complains about it. Taeler gets pissed and drops down but as she goes to see whats up Mickie decks her. Mickie then hits the Mick Kick as the fans chant you got bitch slapped. 1 2 3.
Winner: Mickie via pinfall (Mick Kick)
Devon and Knux think theyve found Abyss and Devon is going to sneak up on him as he tells Knux to wait as he checks to see if its him. Someone then sneaks up behind Knux and drags him away! Devon comes back and suddenly the TV Title is slid in front of him from the shadows. Knux then goes flying into a wall and Abyss walks up behind Devon! Abyss decks Devon and then slams him into the wall! Abyss picks up the TV Title and says hes taking this belt INTO THE ABYSS!

Main Event Non-Title Ladder Match Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy vs. Bully Ray
These two faced off earlier this year in a Full Metal Mayhem Match with Bully winning via hitting Jeff with a hammer knocking him off the ladder through a table. Tonight a hammer will be hanging from the ceiling and the person that pulls it down will be able to use it. Hardy dives over the top with a Plancha onto Ray before he can even get in the ring! Hardy then slams him into the ring steps and tosses him into the ring. Hardy shoves Ray into the corner and then hits a series of shoulder blocks and punches. Hardy then hits a Splash and attempts to whip Ray into the opposite corner, but Bully reverses it only for Hardy to float up into a Spinning Headscissors! Ray rolls out of the ring but Hardy nails him with a Dropkick through the ropes followed by a Diving Clothesline off the apron! Hardy slams Bully into the ring steps repeatedly and then Hardy pulls a ladder out and brings it into the ring. Ray trips him and pulls him out to the apron and slams his knee into it.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Back from the break Bully headbutts Hardy in the chest repeatedly before chopping him. Bully then hits a Splash in the corner and taunts the pro Hardy crowd. Bully grabs Hardys leg and rolls forward snapping Hardys leg into the mat. Ray picks Hardy up and Hardy tries to fight back but gets backdropped way up in the lights! Ray looks like he has a small cut on his forehead. Bully picks up the ladder and slams it on top of Hardy. Ray hits an Elbow Drop and then slams Hardys knee into the mat. Ray screams at Hardy that he doesnt even need a hammer to beat Hardy. Hardy fights back and then bounces off the ropes but runs right into a Big Boot from Bully. Bully does the Hogan taunt and mockingly says hi dad! Ray goes for the Bully Bomb but Hardy blocks it and counters into a DDT! Both men are down now. They get back up and exchange punches until Hardy gets the better of Ray! Hardy attempts to whip Ray into the ropes but he reverses it only for Hardy to explode off the ropes with a Flying Forearm! Hardy then hits an Atomic Drop followed by a Leg Drop to the nuts and a Basement Dropkick! Bully retreats to the corner and then Hardy picks up the ladder and sets it up in the center of the ring. Hardy climbs up the ladder but Bully gets up and shoves it. Hardy leaps off the ladder and then hits a Leaping Mule Kick that sends Ray into the corner. Hardy then dropkicks the ladder into Rays nuts! A no more babies chant starts now. Hardy sets the ladder back up and starts climbing but Bully shoves it over and Hardy lands on the top rope hard! Ray looks over at Taz and screams TAZ! MY BALLS! in a funny spot. Ray grabs Hardy but eats a Jawbreaker followed by a clothesline! Hardy climbs back up the ladder but Bully shoves him off again and this time he falls into the turnbuckles. Ray runs at Hardy but eats a back elbow and then Hardy leaps to the top and dives off with the Whisper In The Wind! Hardy climbs up the ladder and grabs the hammer but Ray pulls the ladder out from under him and Hardy takes a WICKED bump as he hits the mat. Ray sets the ladder up again and then drags Hardy away before starting to climb back up the ladder. Ray grabs the hammer and pulls it down as he then he slowly climbs down the ladder. Ray goes to hit Hardy with the hammer but Hardy catches him with the Twist of Fate out of nowhere! Hardy grabs the hammer and Bully begs Hardy not to use it. Hardy swings but Ray avoids him and then takes off up the ramp. Hardy sells his knee as he tries to chase Ray and falls down and actually grabs his hip too. In the back Ray continues to run away but Hulk Hogan sneaks up behind him with a hammer and goes to hit Bully with it! Brooke then runs up and screams at him not to do it. Bully sees it and runs away as Hogan looks like he wants to hit Brooke with it now.

- Zeb Colter noted on Twitter that he and Jack Swagger will be "altering" their
strategy on Monday's episode of Raw. Zeb wrote the following:
"DUE TO
RECENT CONVERSATIONS WITH #WWE OFFICIALS, #wethepeople WILL BE FORCED TO ALTER
OUR STRATEGY. EXPECT IT ON RAW... WE VOW THAT OUR MESSAGE HAS NOT CHANGED. IN
FACT, OUR MESSAGE WILL GET STRONGER. #wethepeople WILL NOT BE SILENCED."
- We've noted how Jack Swagger has missed a string of recent WWE
live events and TV tapings, including this week's RAW and SmackDown.
WWE
has removed Swagger from all events until the June 29th live event in Cedar
Rapids, Iowa. It's worth noting that Swagger's next court date for his DUI is on
June 25th, just a few days before he's scheduled to return.
On Tuesday,
Swagger posted a photo of his hand with stitches:
"This what happens
