- As seen on Monday's RAW, AJ Lee defeated Natalya with her Black Widow submission move. WWE's website spoke to AJ about using the move that she once used in WWE developmental:
"Ive had it in my back pocket for a while. Im not the strongest person, so anything that lets me trap myself on an opponent, like a spider in a web, is effective. The abdomen gets stretched, the neck is in an uncomfortable position and my opponents arms are extended where they shouldnt be. So its everything all at once, using all 115 pounds of my pure muscle and badassery to the fullest extent."
- Sin Cara returned to WWE TV on last night's episode of Main Event. He defeated Intercontinental Title Champion Wade Barrett in a non-title match and is now a new contender for the belt.
- Evan Bourne is still a ways away from returning after he had a match at developmental and it was decided he's not ready, as noted before. There is talk of putting Bourne with Sin Cara as a tag team.
After holding the US Championship for 240 days through last month when he was upended by Kofi Kingston, Antonio Cesaro's standing in WWE has been greatly curtailed as he has lost a majority of his televised matches. For those wondering whether his demotion is as result of "heat" backstage, it is not. Rather, top WWE officials simply feel he lacks personality.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio Monday night that company brass believe that the former ROH standout is "boring," resulting in his slide down the card. Some in WWE, however, are not in favor of the demotion, and believe Cesaro should be a headliner.
While Cesaro engaged in a match with Kingston two weeks on WWE Main Event that was well-received by management, it failed to alter his standing in the organization. Meltzer remarked, "They don't see him any higher than they did two weeks ago. There was lip service paid there for a week or two, but it's over now."
Joseph Park spoke out via his Official Twitter account concerning the return of Abyss on this past weeks episode of Impact Wrestling. He wrote:
"I can't wait to get to @IMPACTWRESTLING this Thursday and see my brother Abyss. It's been awhile. Still can't believe I missed him last week.
I miss one week due to @REALBully5150 and @TestifyDevon acts upon me and I miss my brother. I was shocked to see him. TNA has its monster back and just in time to defeat @TheAcesAnd8s. I knew he would come back. I feel better and healed up. I'll be at @IMPACTWRESTLING Thurs."

World Champion Dolph Ziggler was interviewed by WWE.com about his concussion suffered at the Smackdown tapings. Dolph said he doesn't remember Monday into Tuesday and was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia stemming from the incident.
The company is working on alternative plans for the World Title match at Extreme Rules in case Ziggler isn't medically cleared.
Here are some highlights from the WWE.com interview:
I didnt even remember Monday until I watched Raw when I got home, the champion revealed, in reference to the injury, which he sustained when he interfered in a match between Jack Swagger and Big E Langston. I dont even remember traveling from Raw to SmackDown. I dont remember Tuesday. I remember AJ and Big E taking me to the airport on Wednesday morning.
"I was told I interfered in a match and tried to get my hands on a ladder," said Ziggler, piecing together the timeline. "When I bent over to grab it, Jack Swagger kicked me in the head.
Happily, Ziggler is on the mend since returning home, and his condition is improving. "I feel a lot better today," The Showoff told WWE.com of his recovery process. "Yesterday I had a bad headache. Today, I have a slight headache.
While Zigglers suffered concussions before in his career, he said this was by far the worst.
I didnt know what day it was; I didnt know what month it was. he said. Ive had a couple of concussions before and just had a headache. Ive never not remembered entire days, like someone in a movie.
