Update on Rosa Mendes' Status with WWE Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/24/2013 at 11:57 PM
As reported earlier, Rosa Mendes was sent home from WWE's ongoing European tour. WWE issued a statement to online news outlets stating, "Rosa Mendes left the international tour for personal reasons."
According to the Wrestling Observer, Mendes was "partying too much on the tour," with one company source describing her as "a mess." Talent and other employees were under the belief that she would probably not rejoin the company on the road for a while, but also mentioned that she has not been suspended.
PWInsider.com noted that Mendes has a history of similar issues, which prompted company officials to send her back home.
Mendes addressed the matter on Twitter, writing, "Just wanted to let all my #Mendesluverz that I'm ok. I had to take care of some personal matters. Thank you for all your support. Love you."
Mendes manages the real-life cousin tandem of Primo and Epico, and is considered the star of the group due to her appearance and charisma. Though Primo and Epico are well-liked within the company and considered good workers, the general feeling is that they lack charisma and therefore aren't heavily promoted.

bigger pop. The crowd then did the same thing for Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole.

WWE's current tour of Europe. Sources reported she may have been drunk but WWE

- The WWE RAW crew will be working with a limited roster for this afternoon's tapings from London, England as several top stars are working the SmackDown live event in Wales.
It will be interesting to see how they pull off appearances by Fandango and The Shield, who are currently in Cardiff, Wales for a SmackDown live event. Cardiff to London is just under three hours so it's possible The Shield can show up in time for their main event match against The Undertaker, Kane and Daniel Bryan. Fandango was expected to appear tonight and continue his feud with the returning Chris Jericho. Other guys like Sheamus, Randy Orton and Big Show likely won't be on RAW either.
- Naomi may have injured her left knee in a six-Divas tag match in Paris, France last night. She reportedly landed bad after executing a move on one of The Bella Twins.
Bobby
Roode Interview: Speaks On Contract Lapse, Impact Zone, Tag Teams And
More
TNA Wrestler Bobby Roode spoke with Slam Sports on a number of subjects including his
recent rumored contract lapse, getting out of the Impact Zone and more. Below is
a quick recap:
On the issues with his
contract:
"Honestly with the
TNA situation, a lot of it had to do with the visa paperwork and stuff like
that, being a Canadian and having to come and work in the United States.
Everything just fell into place very quickly. It wasn't like I was sitting at
home for months at a time, stewing and looking for different things to do."
On staying in TNA and not pursuing other
opportunities:
"I was trying to
concentrate on staying here and looking towards my future, and getting to where
I was going to be," he said. "TNA wanted me here bad enough that we were able to
work something out quickly. I'm happy for it."
On
Teaming with Austin Aries:
"Obviously, being
able to team with Austin has been a great experience, becoming champion in the
tag team division again with him, and being able to compete with guys like Chavo
and Hernandez. And getting the chance to work with Bad Influence, [Frankie]
Kazarian and [Christopher] Daniels as wel I've always said I was a fan of tag
team wrestling in every interview I've done. Tagging with Austin has been a lot
of fun."
On getting out of the Impact
Zone:
"It's obviously not
as convenient. Let's face it, for eight years, we were going down to Orlando. We
were going to the same hotel, going to the same areas. You became quite familiar
with the area. You didn't have a problem getting in or out. You knew exactly how
much time you needed to get to the airport and all that stuff. Now, it's a
little different that way."
Here is a list of the 10 richest wrestlers in the world:
#1: The Rock Net Worth $70 Million #2: Steve Austin Net Worth $45 Million #3: John Cena Net Worth $35 Million #4: Big Show Net Worth $30 Million #5: Triple H Net Worth: $25 Million #6: Kurt Angle Net Worth $20 million #7: Chris Jericho Net Worth $18 Million #8: Shawn Michaels Net Worth $17 Million #9: The Undertaker Net Worth $16 Million #10: Mick Foley Net Worth $15 Million

a history, they made the decision to send her home.

sent home from WWE's current European tour. Their story says Rosa was apparently
"drunk" for most of the trip so far and WWE decided to send her home. We'll keep
you updated on any other details.
In a recent Live Audio Wrestling, former TNA Wrestler Jay Lethal
revealed that TNA did contact him for The One Night Only
pay-per-view events. He said:
"I will admit they
called me for the first one but I'm under contract with Ring Of Honor so I think
they got the hint so they didn't call me back for any others. I mean, I'm under
contract so there's nothing i can do."
Backstage Update on When CM Punk Might Return Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/21/2013 at 08:28 AM
- CM Punk actually has 4 different injuries to his knee at one time. Punk has a lot of pain in his lower leg but not the knee itself, despite the number of injuries. He has a strained ACL and other torn ligaments.
Before the leg injury, Punk was already planning on taking time off after WrestleMania 29 because he was mentally burnt out. Doctors advised him to stay out of the ring at least 6 weeks. He will not be at this Monday's RAW from England and how soon WWE asks him to return will likely depend on how the ratings are over the next few weeks.
