- Tonight's WWE RAW opens up with the old school intro and
graphics. We're live from Buffalo, New York as the gong hits and The
Undertaker's entrance begins.
Taker comes out to the old-school stage on
the set and makes flames rise. There's a WrestleMania 29 logo up on the big
screen after his video plays. Taker makes the flames rise as we cut to an
opening video for tonight's old-school themed RAW. The video is narrated by Mean
Gene Okerlund.
- Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to RAW as the
old school pyro goes off above the ring. Even Cole and Lawler are all old school
looking at ringside tonight. They talk about The Undertaker and out comes CM
Punk with Paul Heyman to the ring.
Punk says he should be main eventing
WrestleMania 29. Punk says he should be defending the WWE Title but he's not
because of the fans. Punk says the fans screwed him. Punk says what the world
just saw gives him a purpose. Punk says he's going to beat The Undertaker at
WrestleMania. Punk says fans like The Streak so much but roll their eyes when he
mentions his lengthy title reign. Punk says he has a new number - 20 and 1. Punk
says he will beat The Streak, deal with it. Randy Orton's music hits and out he
comes.
Orton says he's already beat Punk at WrestleMania. Orton says 8
years ago, he came close to beating Taker at WrestleMania but he was a rookie
then. Orton says now he's the most dangerous man in the locker room. Orton asks
the fans who should face Taker at WrestleMania - Orton or Punk. The fans pop for
Orton. Out comes Big Show next. Big Show says he also faced Taker at
WrestleMania but back then he didn't' have the knockout punch he has now. Show
says if you're going to beat The Streak, you need to be more than a Viper and
more than Straight-Edge. You need to be a giant. Big Show says he's going to
knock Taker's streak right into oblivion. Sheamus comes out next to the biggest
pop yet.
Sheamus says he's the only one who has never faced Taker. He
says it's going to take a Brogue Kick to defeat Taker. Sheamus says with the
luck of the Irish on your side, it's possible. Vickie Guerrero comes out next to
boos from the crowd. Vickie says the one to end The Streak will be the greatest
of all-time. Vickie announces a Fatal 4 Way for tonight. The winner will face
The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29.
- Announced for later tonight is a
point-counterpoint segment with The Rock and John Cena. Also, Triple H will
address Brock Lesnar. We see Ryback heading to the ring before going to
commercial.
Ryback vs. Antonio Cesaro
Back from
the break and WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro is in the ring. Out next
comes Ryback.
Cesaro strikes first with kicks and punches. Ryback knocks
him down with a shoulder. Ryback with chops in the corner now. Ryback takes
Cesaro up and catches him in a big powerslam. Cesaro rolls to the floor to
regroup. Ryback suplexes Cesaro back into the ring and holds him high in the air
before dropping him. Ryback with a 2 count. Cesaro unloads in the corner again.
Ryback dumps him to the apron but Cesaro drops Ryback over the top rope. Cesaro
goes to the top but Ryback presses him high in the air and slams him on his
face. Ryback sends Cesaro over the top rope and back to the floor.
Ryback tangles with Cesaro on the apron and gets knocked off. He
stumbles back in the ring and Cesaro covers for a 2 count. Cesaro mounts Ryback
and unloads again. Ryback is dazed and confused as we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Cesaro hits Ryback with knees. Ryback stands up
to him and Cesaro smacks him. Ryback knocks Cesaro down and starts making a
comeback. Ryback with a big back body drop and a spinebuster. Ryback goes for
the Meathook Clothesline but runs into an uppercut. Cesaro goes for the
Neutralizer but Ryback catches him with Shellshocked for the win.
Winner: Ryback
- After the match, Ryback is
heading to the back when Mark Henry's music hits. Henry comes out to the
entrance way and stares down Ryback. Henry keeps heading to the ring but keeps
his eyes on Ryback.
Mark Henry vs. Zack Ryder
Henry hits the ring and out next comes his opponent Zack Ryder. Ryder
looks ready to fight and comes in with a mean look on his face. Henry grabs him
and throws him into the corner. Ryder comes out fighting but Henry shoves him
back. Henry runs into knees and fights back some more. Henry whips him into the
corner and nails a big clothesline. Henry yells for Ryder to get up. Henry nails
the World's Strongest Slam for the quick win.

- We get hype for tonight's main event. Dolph Ziggler, AJ
Lee and Big E Langston are shown walking backstage.
- Another vignette
for Fandango before we go back to commercial. This one says he will be debuting
tonight on RAW.
Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz
Back
from the break and Ziggler is out in the ring with The Miz. Miz has some trouble
with the microphone but they get it going. Miz introduces someone to us who
represents old-school. Miz calls him his friend and mentor. Out comes Ric Flair
to a big pop from the crowd.
Miz and Ziggler lock up and break. They
lock up again and Ziggler takes control. Ziggler has words with Flair at
ringside. Ziggler beats up on Miz in front of Flair. Miz fights back but Ziggler
cuts him off. Ziggler with chops in the corner. Miz drops him with a right hand.
Miz makes a comeback and kicks Ziggler out of the ring. Flair dances at
ringside. Flair gets up on the apron and Miz tries to do the Flair strut as we
go to commercial.
Back from the break and Ziggler is in control. Ziggler
hits a neckbreaker and covers for a 2 count. Miz fights back and knocks Ziggler
into the corner with right hands. Ziggler dumps Miz to the apron but Miz slides
under the ropes and rolls him up for a close 2 count. Miz counters and hits the
backbreaker neckbreaker combo for 2. Ziggler rolls Miz up out of nowhere for 2.
Miz comes back and takes Ziggler's knee out. Ziggler nails the big jumping DDT
for another 2 count.
Ziggler goes for a sleeper but Miz fights him
off. Ziggler tries some more and gets it locked. Miz drops Ziggler on his face
and hits the running clothesline in the corner. Miz goes to the top and comes
off with a big ax handle shot. AJ gets on the apron and distracts the referee
while Big E lays out Miz. Flair comes over and throws his coat at Big E's face.
Flair hits Big E with a bunch of chops but it doesn't phase him. Miz kicks a
distracted Big E in the face. Ziggler gets a surprise 2 count on Miz. Miz locks
in the Figure Four and Ziggler taps.
Winner: The Miz
- After the match, Flair gets in the ring with Miz to celebrate. They
elbow drop an invisible jacket before we get replays.

- Back from the break and out
comes WWE Champion The Rock. Rock takes the mic and says he needs us to
understand something. Rock says he just came in from Panama, where it's 95
degrees every single day. Rock says he was excited about coming to RAW and tells
about when he told a woman at the airport he didn't need a jacket for cold
Buffalo, because of electricity running through him. Rock says he stepped out of
the plane onto Buffalo and it was so cold he had ice sickles forming on The
People's Nipples. Rock says the cold air on his face meant one thing, after 10
long years... Finally, The Rock has come back to Buffalo.
John Cena's
music hits and out he comes. Cena says he's been waiting on this moment for a
year and Rock doesn't even know why. He can't know why because he's Dwayne "The
Rock" Johnson. The man who conquered WWE during the Attitude Era, conquered
Hollywood and came back to conquer WWE again. Cena says Rock doesn't fail at
anything in life so he doesn't know what it feels like. Cena said he needed to
win that match last year but he failed. Cena says that makes him feel worthless.
A loud "Cena sucks" chant breaks out. Cena says it makes you feel weak and like
you want to crawl in a hole and go away. Cena says that moment he lost to The
Rock sent his life into a tailspin. Professionally and personally, Cena says.
Cena says Rock was responsible for his collapse but will be responsible
for his turnaround. Cena points out Rock won the WWE Title on the same night he
won the Rumble. Cena says he has a chance to re-write history. Cena gives Rock a
34-day heads up and says he is not throwing this chance away. Rock takes a
second but says that fire and that desire... he's happy to see that out of Cena.
Rock says that's the man who said he would beat CM Punk last week and he did.
Rock says there was only one man he wanted to face at WrestleMania - Cena. Rock
says he knows what the title and the match means to Cena. Rock says nobody in
WWE has the passion and the drive, the will to win, that Cena has... except...
The Rock. Rock says as much as it matters to Cena, it matters more to him. Cena
quotes Mike Tyson and says in order to be the best that ever lived, you have to
beat everyone living. Cena says he has jumped over every roadblock in his career
except The Rock. Cena says The Rock's time is up at WrestleMania and his time is
now. Rock says that's not right. Rock says his time is just getting started.
Rock quotes a famous athlete and says winning is about heart, you just have to
have it in the right place. Rock says that famous athlete was Lance Armstrong,
he was full of crap and so is Cena. The crowd chants for Rock. Cena talks about
Rock's confidence. Cena says history won't repeat itself in 34 days, he will
make history. Cena says he will become the WWE Champion in 34 days and is met
with a mixed reaction. Rock says Cena just crystallized everything that is The
Rock and John Cena. Rock says Cena thinks he can beat Rock but Rock knows he can
beat Cena. That's the difference between them. Rock says he will beat Cena in
front of the world, again, at WrestleMania 29. Rock does a very serious "if you
smell..." and has a staredown with Cena as his music plays. The camera shows the
WrestleMania 29 banner in the background.

We get a look back at earlier when The Undertaker opened RAW by coming out to
the entrance way.
Jack Swagger vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
We go to the ring and Jack Swagger is in with Zeb Colter. Out comes his
opponent, WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan. He's accompanied by fellow
Legends Dusty Rhodes and Sgt. Slaughter.
Before the bell hits, Swagger
rolls to the floor and grabs Duggan's 2x4. Dusty and Slaughter tell him to put
it down and get back in the ring. Swagger brings the 2x4 to the apron and then
into the ring. He decks Duggan in the gut and over the back with it. Slaughter
comes in and takes a shot as does Dusty. Swagger hits Slaughter in the back with
it. Swagger points at the WrestleMania sign and puts the Patriot Lock on Duggan.
- Cole leads us to the trailer for The Marine 3.
- Kane and
Daniel Bryan are headed to the ring as we go to commercial.
Zeb Colter
and Jack Swagger are backstage. Zeb says Swagger took out 3 Legends. Josh
Matthews asks for comment but Swagger gets attacked from behind by Alberto Del
Rio. They brawl and eventually are separated.

Bryan vs. Darren Young and Titus O'Neil
We go to the ring and
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase is at ringside with O'Neil and Young. They
asked him to be their manager and he's considering it if they can win. Match
starts off with back and forth. Bryan comes in with Young and hits a bunch of
kicks. Bryan with a dropkick for a 2 count. Titus tags in and runs over Bryan.
Young tags back in for some double teaming on Bryan. We see DiBiase
looking on but he's not in The Primetime Players' corner. Kane finally tags in
and unloads on Young. Kane with a big boot and a low dropkick. Kane with
clotheslines in the corners and a sideslam for 2. Titus breaks it up and throws
Bryan to the apron. Bryan dumps Titus to the floor and takes him down with a
flying knee. Young and Kane go at it now. Kane catches Young with a chokeslam
for the win.
Winners: Kane and Daniel Bryan

After the match, DiBiase takes a $100 bill and puts it in Young's mouth. Bryan
and Kane go to leave but Bryan sneaks back and takes the money.
- The
Honky Tonk Man is shown backstage before we go to commercial.
Tensai and Brodus Clay vs. Heath Slater and Drew
McIntyre
Back from the break and out comes Cameron, Naomi,
Brodus clay and Sweet T. Out next comes The Honky Tonk Man. 3MB are already in
the ring and Heath Slater snatches the mic from Honky before he can speak.
Slater rips Honky and tells him to go back to Las Vegas with the rest of the
Elvis impersonators. The match starts and Drew unloads on Tensai in the corner.
Tensai counters and rolls him up out of nowhere for the quick win.
Winners: Tensai and Brodus Clay
- After the
match, Tensai and Clay dance. Honky stops them and has his music played. They
all dance until Slater comes back to the ring. Slater yells at Honky but takes a
guitar shot to the head. They go back to dancing.
- Up next is Kofi
Kingston vs. Fandango. Back to commercial.
- Back from the break and we
get some footage from the Dead Man Down premiere.
Kofi Kingston
vs. Fandango
Kofi Kingston waits in the ring as Fandango's
music hits. A woman comes out dancing around and then out comes Fandango. He
takes the mic and says that was inappropriate. He won't make his debut until
everyone learns to pronounce his name. Justin Roberts tries it again and can't
get it right. Fandango shows him again how it's done. Roberts tries again and
Fandango gets upset. He says tonight was the night that we almost got to see the
debut of Fandango.
- Up next, Triple H will address what happened with
Brock Lesnar last week. Back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and
we get a look at Brock Lesnar attacking Vince McMahon and then the brawl with
Triple H on last week's RAW.
- Triple H makes his way out to the ring to
a nice pop from the crowd. Triple H talks about how Brock Lesnar broke his arm
at SummerSlam. He talks about he got emotional in the ring and choked up,
thinking it was over just days later. Triple H says the second his cast was off,
he was back in the gym and training. Triple H says he was doing his day job as
WWE COO but training every day. He says he's in the best shape he's been in
years and had been waiting... waiting for a reason. Triple H says he found
himself looking at Vince McMahon after he had hip surgery. He says that's when
he found the reason. HHH says if Lesnar thinks they were done after SummerSlam,
he needs to reach and feel the 12 staples in his head to know they were just
getting started.
Triple H says it doesn't take a rocket scientist to
figure out why he's here just 4 weeks away from the big dance. Triple H calls
Lesnar out and wants to finish what they started at WrestleMania 29. Triple H
says the ass-kicker is back, the King of Kings is back, The Game is back. Triple
H wonders if Lesnar is going to show up and fight or just sit there and bleed.
Triple H tosses the mic and exits the ring as his music plays.
- We get
a backstage video from The Shield. Dean Ambrose talks about everyone going for
The Undertaker and The Streak. Seth Rollins points out they are undefeated too.
Ambrose says the eye of justice is on everybody, even Big Show. Roman Reigns
says Show got one lucky shot in. They tease a run-in during tonight's main
event.
Wade Barrett vs. Alberto Del Rio
We go
to the ring and WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett is in the ring.
Ricardo Rodriguez begins the introduction for World Heavyweight Champion Alberto
Del Rio and out he comes.
Back and forth to start. Del Rio with multiple
shots to the kidney. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter come out to the entrance way.
Del Rio sends Barrett to the floor and brings him back in. Barrett catches Del
Rio with Winds of Change for a 2 count. Barrett drops elbows for another pin
attempt. Barrett with a headlock now. More offense from Barrett until Del Rio
wraps up his arm on the ropes. Del Rio catches a big boot to the head and falls
back out to the floor.
Barrett with knees and a big kick to the head. He
brings it back in the ring for another 2 count. Barrett goes to the middle rope
but misses an elbow drop. Del Rio with a kick to the face and a pair of
clotheslines. Del Rio with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Del Rio hits the
superkick for a pin attempt. Del Rio sees Zeb and Swagger now. Del Rio misses a
move and catches a big kick to the face. Barrett gets countered twice. Del Rio
locks in the cross armbreaker for the win.

- We get a "Political Correctness" video from Zeb Colter
and Jack Swagger. Zeb says real Americans refuse to use political correct
language. In Jack Swagger's America, there will always be a group of Americans
ready to defend what our forefathers fought for.
The New Age
Outlaws vs. Primo and Epico
We go to the ring and out comes
"Road Dogg" BG James and Billy Gunn. Dogg has the mic and they do a typical NAO
entrance. Gunn does the "two words for ya" and the crowd responds with a big
"suck it." Rosa Mendes is at ringside with Primo and Epico as we get ready. Dogg
starts out with Epico and drops knees for a 2 count. Dogg drops Primo but turns
around to a dropkick from Epico for a 2 count. They cut Dogg down in their
corner and stomp away on him. Primo tags in and they keep the quick tags coming.
Primo with a knee to the forehead and a knee drop before tagging Epico back in
for some double teaming.
More back and forth. they collide in the middle
of the ring and in comes Gunn and Primo. Gunn unloads and takes out Epico. Gunn
drops Primo and covers for 2 but it's broken up. Road Dogg takes Epico to the
floor. Gunn with more offense. He hits the Fame-asser on Primo for the win.
Winners: The New Age Outlaws
- We get a look
back at earlier tonight where The Rock and John Cena met in the ring.

We come back to the arena and there's a huge birthday cake with the WWE roster
standing around it. Mean Gene Okerlund comes out and apparently it's Mae Young's
90th birthday. Mean Gene introduces Mae Young and out she comes with the Divas.
Everyone sings Happy Birthday to her but CM Punk's music interrupts. Punk and
Heyman come walking through the celebration and make their way to the ring for
tonight's main event.
Fatal 4 Way for a Shot at The Streak: CM
Punk vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. Big Show
Punk hits the
ring and gets hype as we go to commercial.
Back from the commercial and
out comes Big Show. Randy Orton is out next followed by Sheamus. The bell rings
and Punk immediately goes to the floor to watch with Heyman. Sheamus goes out as
does Orton and they surround Punk. He goes in the ring and gets dropped by Show.
Sheamus comes in and Show tosses him out the other side. Orton comes on the
apron and drops Show over top of it. Show sends Orton back to the floor. Show
comes out after him. Show gets shoved into the ring post. Orton comes back in
and Sheamus meets him. They go at it now.
Back and forth now. Orton gets
caught in a backbreaker for a 2 count. Punk comes in and they catch him,
throwing him over the top rope. Show comes in and drops both Orton and Sheamus.
We go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Punk is in control. We
see Sheamus and Show down on the outside of the ring. Orton comes back control
and tosses Punk for a 2 count. Punk dumps Orton to the floor but Sheamus hits a
battering ram and comes in for a 2 count. Sheamus hits a bunch of forearm shots
to the chest of Punk while on the apron. Show comes in and lays Sheamus out for
a close 2 count. Punk breaks the pin and hits Show with knees to the face. Show
drops Punk with a knockout punch out of nowhere. Show fights Sheamus off.
Sheamus with a few shoulder thrusts and a high knee. Sheamus ducks a knockout
punch and takes Show off his feet. Show comes back and drops Sheamus with a
headbutt. Show goes for a second rope splash but misses. Sheamus goes for White
Noise and gets Big Show up for the move. 2 count for Sheamus.
Sheamus
calls for a Brogue Kick but Orton catches him with a powerslam for 2. Show grabs
Orton and Sheamus. He shoves Sheamus off and chokeslams Orton. Show blocks a
Brogue Kick and chokeslams Sheamus for a 2 count. Sheamus ducks a punch and
Brogue Kicks Show out of the ring. Orton nails a RKO on Sheamus. Punk comes in
and hits GTS on Orton for the win. CM Punk is going to WrestleMania 29 to face
The Undertaker.
Winner: CM Punk
- After the
match, The Undertaker's music hits and out he comes to the entrance way as Punk
looks on from the ring. Undertaker makes the flames rise and stares Punk down.

TNA
Wrestling has announced that Rob Terry will face off against Robbie E at this
Sundays TNA LockDown pay per view at the Alamodome in San Antonio,
Texas.
Rey Mysterio announced on Twitter that he met with Dr. James
Andrews today due to a possible ACL tear. Mysterio last torn his ACL back in
2011. Here is what he wrote on Twitter:

man, Doc. James Andrews... Things haven't been good since I stepped back in the
ring, possibly Acl tear again!

- Tonight's old-school WWE RAW takes place from the First Niagara
Center in Buffalo, New York. No matches have been announced for tonight but The
Shield vs. John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback is advertised locally. We do know that
WWE Champion The Rock will be appearing tonight as will Triple H. No appearances
by Chris Jericho or Brock Lesnar this week.

RUMOR:
Former TNA Knockout Rosita Heading To The WWE?
According to The
Wrestling Observer there is talk that former TNA Knockout Rosita may be
getting a WWE tryout today in Buffalo prior to tonight's WWE RAW event. Rosita
was shelved by TNA for most of 2012 and her contract expired earlier this year.
WWE will tape this week's episode of WWE SmackDown from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Here are the full results.

* Bo Dallas defeated Curt Hawkins.
WWE SmackDown Results
* SmackDown opens with Alberto Del Rio vs. Damien Sandow. They have words before the match after Sandow cuts a heel promo. Del Rio gets the win with a cross armbreaker.
* Backstage segment with Kane and Daniel Bryan arguing. They got a rematch against Darren Young and Titus O'Neil for later tonight. This time, Kane will be blindfolded and Bryan will have his arm tied behind his back.
* The Miz vs. Antonio Cesaro in a 2 of 3 Falls Match for the WWE United States Title is up next. Cesaro gets the first fall with a Neutralizer but Miz gets the second fall. After lots of counters, Cesaro gets the third fall and retains the title.
* Promo for Fandango's debut later tonight.
* Randy Orton and Sheamus are backstage. Orton vs. Big Show is revealed for later tonight.
* Jim Ross interviews Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger in the ring. JR talks about his history with Jack Swagger but Swagger rips the Sooners. Colter takes over the interview and talks about the same stuff he's been saying on RAW. Colter says an English speaking American will finally be World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania. JR and Colter get into an argument. Swagger knocks JR's cowboy hat off and backs him against the ropes. Alberto Del Rio comes out to make the save. Del Rio cut a promo on Swagger and they had a staredown.
* Darren Young and Titus O'Neil vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan is up next. Kane is blindfolded while Bryan has his arm behind his back. Kane and Bryan got into it mid-match which led to Titus rolling Bryan up for the win. Bryan ended up slapping Kane after they hugged after the match.
* Backstage interview with Big Show. Show says he's looking to make an impact tonight.
* Heath Slater vs. Sin Cara is up next. Cara gets the win.
* Fandango is backstage with Matt Striker. Striker can't get his name right so Fandango isn't debuting tonight. He says he will debut when Striker gets his name right.
* Randy Orton vs. Big Show is up next. The Shield comes out and surrounds the ring until Sheamus comes out. They beat down Orton and Sheamus. Big Show knocks out Roman Reigns. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins retreat and Show chokeslams Orton. Sheamus knocks Show out of the ring with a Brogue Kick.
We noted last week that WWE had signed Kendra Smith, who has experience in MMA
and stuntwork, to a developmental deal. Her new ring name is Kendall Skye. On a
related note, it's said that Kendra impressed NXT officials big time several
weeks back when she attended the tryouts.
WWE announced that Triple H will appear at this Monday's Raw in
Buffalo, New York.
"The Game" returned on Monday's show to brawl with
Brock Lesnar, who was about to attack Vince McMahon again after defending Paul
Heyman from McMahon's retaliations. WWE teases, "The Game's plans are known only
to him, but it's only a few days until he lets the WWE Universe and Lesnar

into training in 1993 I was an actor before that doing childrens theatre and
stuff like that and in between gig I decided to give professional wrestling a
try just to say, I wanted to go through the school I found out about a school
and just wanted to give it a try, and If I washed out and I failed I could say
to my kids hey I give it a try. Because I grew up watching it I trained for
three months and learned it all pretty quick how to do stuff and started
wrestling three months later and I just kept with it and stuck with it and
eventually I was popular enough where I would work all the time. All of a sudden
I was working every weekend and doing tours in Japan and it sort of became my
career not accidentally but it snuck up on me. I decided after I was doing it
full time that I was doing it full time. As far as what I would do if I wasnt
doing this. Probably still trying to do acting and some sort of
theatre."
His Best match and why:
"I think the best
moment and best match for me was the three way with AJ Styles and Samoa Joe just
because I think the audience the crowd and the fan base were ready to have three
home grown talents in their main event and it was the first time the x division
title, that the three of us valued very highly had been in a main event ahead of
the world title. It meant a lot to all three of us and the crowd responded.
Three home grown wrestlers, it was just the case of having the right audience
and the right match and that made history."
On the
Curry Man character:
"When it was first
given to me I wasnt sure what to make of it I didnt know the character that it
was based on. For the first couple of months I wasnt quite sure how they wanted
me to do it, realising they just wanted me to do what I wanted to do, thats
where the wearing funny hats came from and have fun with rather than having some
pre conceived notion of what to do with it. Once I went to TNA with it, it was
another company where I just let myself go and have fun with it and to not take
things too seriously and not think too seriously about my matches at that
time."
On the new TNA creative
regime:
"I have a very
positive outlook to the crew we have around now in terms of the creative team.
They are very open to suggestions and are open to letting us as the characters
do what we feel is right and are very open to suggestions .Eric Bishoff ,Jason
Kuribi Matt Conway and Dave Labatta all that crew are supportive in letting us
build the character in what we think they should be doing and you know we always
bounce ideas off each other and the sort of the best idea rules. Its probably
some of the best, creatively some of the best supportive stuff I have been a
part of in a long time in TNA and its a great group we are dealing
with."
What he does in his spare
time:
"In most of my spare
time I mean I have two young kids so I am normally mom when I am at home, my
wife works and I take care of my family and the house. I am also a comic book
reader I still collect comics, 30 years I have been doing that. Thats really
how I spend my time looking after my house and taking care of my body and
reading comic books. I do normal stuff Im a movie guy .Me and my wife are big
movie buffs and we try to catch movies as often as we can. I read occasional
stuff that isnt comic books Stephen King etc I will read that and that is
basically it. The things that annoy me are closed minded stupid people but they
are everywhere."
Whether he prefers being a
singles or tag champion:
"I honestly dont
prefer either one. I have had great success with both and I enjoy both. When you
are wrestling out by yourself all success and failure comes from yourself .I
love fighting with someone I have great chemistry with like Frankie Kasarian and
going out and sharing that experience and getting fans into what we are we are
doing. I just gravitate to one or the other and stick with that for a period of
time."
Jesse Sorensen has moved behind the scences for TNA Wrestling. Jesse, who was
injured at the 2012 Against All Odds PPV, has transitioned into a
'marketing/production' assistant for TNA. It is currently unknown if he will
ever return as a wrestler for Impact Wrestling.

The Film Yap recently spoke to The Miz, who was promoting his new movie, The Marine 3. Here are some highlights from the interview.
Who he would you like to work a program with that he hasn't yet: "I'd like to work The Rock. He was basically the person I looked at and said 'I want to be a WWE Superstar.' Just to watch him during the Attitude Era and to watch his matches. Not only to go up against him, but to exceed him. That's what every WWE Superstar wants to do, whether it's CM Punk, John Cena, you want to take it to the next level. I've already had that huge program with John Cena that took me to the next level, which taught me so much about the WWE, and there's always CM Punk who is doing such a great job. He was WWE Champion for 400-plus days and is still on a roll. Those are great superstars who you want to get. You always want to be at the top."
If he wants to continue acting: "Not only do I want to continue it, I am continuing it with "The Christmas Bounty." I start filming that in April and it comes out at Christmas."
The new WWE Championship belt: "I really like it. When I was WWE champion, I changed the belt too, changing the WWE logo to an "M" and stopping it from spinning. I agree with the Rock. A championship should not spin and should not be looked at as a toy. It should be looked upon with prestige and I think this new title reflects that. When people win World Series or NBA Finals or Super Bowls, I think they'll be wearing this around their waists because it embodies what a title should look like."
Impact Wrestling starts out with an Aces & 8s video. As the group is growing, Hulk Hogan confirms a Lethal Lockdown match. It is the group vs. Team Sting. Hulk also announces Bully Ray as #1 Contender for the TNA World Championship. Ray suggests a 6 man tag team match with Hogan involved. Hogan agrees to do it. He didnt show up though. Why? Aces & 8s attacked him in the back and they kidnapped Brooke Hogan too. They let both go but they sure left a mark.
Video plays from earlier today that features Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray. The camera guy asks them how Hulk is doing. Brooke says he is hurt and is at home. He is resting. Ray says he is messed up bad and grabs Brooke and says there isnt time to talk. They go through the door to enter the arena.
Fireworks explode in the arena. The camera shows the Impact Zone with fans on their feet. Music hits and here is Bully Ray. Ray starts yelling at Taz from the stage. Ray walks down the ramp and gets in the ring. Ray grabs a mic. He says it is pretty cool to be back in the Impact Zone. He never been this furious in his life. Aces & 8s ran around for the past couple of weeks. They took out so many people and they ruined his wedding. Last week should have been a huge week for TNA. We were all going to see the return of Hulk Hogan to the ring. It didnt happen though because of Aces & 8s. He mentions Devon and says he is going to get his hands on him. He will never want to step foot in a wrestling ring again. There is one guy Ray wants to speak to also. This guy is someone who Aces & 8s took out and this guy is who Ray will be facing at Lockdown. Lets have the TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy! Jeffs music plays and here comes Jeff. He has his custom title on his shoulder and the actual TNA World Title on the other shoulder. He interacts with the fans around the ring with his red and orange face paint. He gets in the ring and the crowd chants, Hardy, Hardy, Hardy! Ray tells Jeff that he never thought both would stand across from each other and will fight for the World Title in the future. Everyone knows their history. Ray says he isnt getting a title shot because he is Hulks son-in-law. There are other guys who could fight Jeff. Ray doesnt want it to happen this way. He isnt positive he is the right guy to face Jeff.
Jeff grabs a mic and says it is great to be back on Impact and in the zone! Jeff loves the fact that Hulk chose Ray. He would have chose Ray. They swung a lot of chairs, climbed a lot of ladders and broke tons of tables. They take it to the cage now for the TNA World Title. They will reinvent their history. Let the best man win. Jeff extends his hand but music hits and here comes the buddy-buddy duo of Daniels and Kazarian. Both walk down the ramp and get in the ring. Kazarian says Ray shouldnt have this title shot. He shouldnt want it. Hulk gave him this title shot and he gave him her daughter. Hey, someone has to rub lotion on Brookes back and take pictures of her so let it be Bully. Daniels gets on the mic and says he should be involved in this match. Daniels out wrestled Jeff last month and he lost because Daniels had an allergic reaction to Jeffs face paint. Daniels and Kazarian should be involved in the match. Daniels tells them to get out of the ring so people can worship them. Ray takes the mic from Daniels and then takes the martini from Daniels. He drinks it all and then spits it back out in the cup. Ray tells baldy that real men dont drink apple martinis. Ray throws the drink in Daniels face and then punches him. Jeff goes after Kazarian. Both make their way out of the ring before they get attacked even more. Ray grabs the mic and makes the match: Ray and Hardy vs. Daniels and Kazarian. Daniels and Kazarian dont like this but Ray and Jeff dont mind at all.
Mike Tenay and Todd Keneley are shown on the camera. Taz is missing and they run down the line-up for tonight. The camera switches to Velvet Sky as she is walking backstage. She will put the title on the line.

Sting is sitting in a room. He is looking at a list and says there are a lot of names on this list that can work. Magnus is sitting by him and says he should be involved. Sting asks why. Magnus states that TNA gave a 22 year old a chance. He was green as grass, but he worked at it. He got help from Sting and others. He can rise. He is team TNA. Why him? why not?! Magnus walks up and leaves the room.
Gail Kim joins Mike Tenay and Todd Keneley at the announcers table. Christy Hemme is shown in the ring as she introduces the first match. Tara comes out on stage and Jesse is at her side. He picks her up and they show off their arm muscles. He lets her down and they walk down the ramp. As they do, footage from last Thursday plays showing that amazing Knockout match where Velvet Sky won the title. Velvet Sky comes out now and she holds the Knockout Title in her hand. As she comes to the ring, footage plays showing her winning the title.
Tara vs. Velvet Sky (Champ) for the Knockout Title Tara goes right after Sky. She puts her in the corner and does multiple shoulder hits into the gut of Sky. She throws her across the ring with her hair and Tara covers. Sky kicks out. Tara covers again but Sky kicks out again. Tara whips Sky in the corner. Tara runs to her, but Sky kicks Tara in the face. Sky comes out of the corner and takes Tara down. She closelines Tara a couple of times and then whips her in the ropes. Sky does a hurricanrona. She gets up and Jesse grabs Skys foot. It distracts her as Tara comes back at her, but Sky fights back. She knocks Tara down and she covers. Jesse pulls the leg of Sky. Taryn Terrell sees this and tosses Jesse out. As she does, Tara gets up and kicks Sky in the back. Tara tries to keep the offense, but Sky comes back and hits the In Yo Face! Sky wins. Winner and
Still Knockout Champion: Velvet Sky
Austin Aries is backstage on the phone with Bobby Roode. He is asking Bobby where he is as they have a photo shoot. Roode is stuck. Austin tells him to get there. Roode starts to talk about a 3 way match. Austin doesnt care about a match and could beat them all himself. Just then, Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez come into the shot. Austin hangs up and turns to them. Since Austin can beat anyone by himself, he should get ready for his match tonight. Austin doesnt have a match and he doesnt care about matches. Chavo tells him to stop worrying about his photo shoot and get ready for his match with him. Well, actually it is not him. It is against Hernandez. They walk away and Austin tells Chavo that he is a liar.

Kenny King is walking backstage. The camera guy asks where he is going to go from here. Kenny says he is the X-Division. He will go to the champion Rob Van Dam. The video fast forwards to him confronting RVD. He tells RVD that they need to talk. They know he (Kenny) is better. He wants a shot for the title. RVD asks how many shots does he need? RVD tells him that he will give it to him, but if King loses, he will be out of the division.
Christy Hemme is in the ring. Austin Aries comes out and gets in the ring. As he does, Taz joins us back at the announcers table. After Austin is in the ring, Hernandez comes out and gets in the ring.
Austin Aries vs. Hernandez Austin moves forward and locks-up with Hernandez. Hernandez pushes him back in the corner. He backs up. Austin comes out and extends his hand for a shake or to give him something. Hernandez slaps his hand. They move around and lock-up again. Austin kicks him in the gut. Hernandez stands to a vertical base and they move around. Hernandez does a hip toss and Austin Aries goes to the outside. Hernandez goes for a suicide dive, but Austin jumps on the apron and rams his shoulder into the gut of Hernandez. He flips over him, but Hernandez comes back. He tosses Austin around the ring, but Austin flips around and pushes Hernandez out of the ring. He goes and successfully hits a suicide dive. He gets to the corner and does a flying double ax handle. He brings Hernandez back in the ring. Austin does a snapmare and then climbs the corner. He shakes his shoulders to mock Chavo. He flies for the frog splash, but Hernandez moves. Hernandez gets to the apron and does a shoulder block. He lifts Austin up and hits the military press. Hernandez lifts Austin up for the border toss, but Austin slides behind him. Both turn to face each other and Austin hits him with the forearm. Hernandez backs up. Austin runs to him, but Hernandez does a battering ram. Austin goes sailing out of the ring. Austin grabs the TNA Tag Title and walks up the ramp. Hernandez exits and drags him down and rolls him in the ring. Austin holds onto the belt. The referee takes it off of him and brings it to the outside. Austin nails Hernandez with his padded forearm. Hernandez goes down and is out. There could be a chain in there. He pins and wins.
Winner: Austin Aries
Sting is in his room. Joseph Parks is in there. He is munching on ribs. Parks tells him that this is his lunch. Sting tells Parks that he will keep him in mind. Sting pops up and goes out of his room as he sees Matt Morgan walking by. Sting knows Matt is looking for a chance. Would he want to be on the team to face Aces & 8s? Matt says Sting is on Hogans side and anyone who is on his side is guilty. Matts answer: no! Matt walks away.

Kenny King is already in the ring waiting for his opponent. Rob Van Dams music plays and the champion walks out with the X-Division Title over his shoulder. He raises his arms and fireworks explode behind him. He gets in the ring.
Kenny King vs. Rob Van Dam (Champ) for the X-Division Title If Kenny King loses, he must leave the X-Division Both move around the ring as the fans chant, RVD, RVD. They lock-up. Kenny applies a headlock, but RVD twist out of it. Kenny applies it again. RVD throws him in the ropes. Kenny rolls over RVD as he bending over. RVD takes King down, but King rolls around to get away. Both get to their feet. They lock-up again after looking around. RVD applies a headlock this time. King sends RVD in the ropes. RVD slides under him and then locks his arms behind King and does a huge german suplex. King backs up in the corner after holding his neck. He gets up and RVD does his RVD thumb pointing taunt, but King drop-kicks RVD from behind. RVD goes through the ropes. King goes for a corkscrew cross body, but RVD moves. King lands on his feet. RVD jumps on the apron, jumps back and kicks King right in the face. He takes King over to another part of the outside and puts him over the guard rail. King is facing down with his head and chest leaning over the railing. RVD gets on the apron and then does a spinning kick. He plants it right on Kings back. Kenny falls back into the crowd. RVD has total control.

They two lock-up, but RVD drops down and hits a chin breaker. King bounces up but goes right after RVD. He takes him down and punches him in the face multiple times. He gets up and kicks RVD in the back as RVD crawls to the corner. King gets him up, knees him, and then whips him in the opposing corner. King runs to him, but RVD kicks him in the face. He does a leg scissor pin, but King kicks out. Both get up and RVD does his kicking and punching strikes. King goes in the corner. RVD hits a monkey flip, but King lands right on his feet. RVD gets up and takes King down. He hits rolling thunder and climbs the corner. He goes for a 450 splash, but King moves out of the way. King covers but the referee, Earl Hebner, says RVDs shoulder is off the mat after 2. King gets RVD up on his shoulders and hits the Royal Flush. He pins and wins! King grabs the title after leaving the ring. He celebrates while RVD is confused in the ring.
Winner and New X-Division Champion: Kenny King
Sting is walking backstage. Kurt Angle walks in the other direction. He asks Sting if he has his list figured out. Sting does and asks if he wants to see it. Uh, yeah! Sting shows it to Kurt. Kurt cant believe he is picking him. Sting knows it is risky but he is taking a new route to try something new. While Sting has business to take care of, so does Kurt. It never ends. Both extend their hands and walk in the other direction.

Taz, Todd Keneley, and Mike Tenay are shown on the camera. They replay footage from last weeks 6 man tag team match. Aces & 8s attacked Hogan and took Brooke. They brought them out to distract Sting and Ray. Ray left to help while Sting went under to the group. They show a picture of Hogans knee as he had to undergo surgery. Taz says that picture is fake.
Music plays and here comes Aces & 8s. They come through the crowd and Devon leads the group to the ring. Mr. Anderson, Doc, Garett Bischoff, and Mike Knox are with Devon. Devon gets on the mic and wants to see if he can understand that Sting has a team to take on Aces & 8s. Does Sting really think they can dominate them? Devon doesnt know what Sting is thinking, but he thinks Sting is drinking the kool-aid Hogan has been dishing out for years. The drink is for TNA people as well as everyone at home. Aces & 8s is the team that will dominate TNA. They will dominate 2013. This club (Doc, Knox, Anderson, Bischoff, and Devon) is what they are about. Sting is giving broken dreams. The same thing will happen just like what happened at Bound for Glory. Aces & 8s won then and they will win at Lockdown. Sting will lead his team to the slaughter house. Testify!
Stings music plays and now it is his turn. The fans roar. Sting grabs a mic. If Devon wants him to testify, then he will testify. Stings first partner will get a killer response because he is a killer. He is the Samoan Submission Maching! Samoa Joe! Joes music hits and he comes out behind Sting. Sting wants to apologize for his next person. Devon asks what is he going to apologize for, You miserable mutt? Sting introduces James Storm. He comes out and is behind Sting and Joe. They slowly make their way down the ramp. The last person comes out and it is Magnus! He returns. Now they are 4! Magnus meets with the others. Sting says he will go with someone new. This guy was attacked by Aces & 8s. Mr. Anderson tells him to get moving with this. Who is it? Sting says it is, Showtime. Yes, that is your catch phrase but who is it? Showtime! Anderson gets furious. All of a sudden, Showtime Eric Young comes from behind. He goes after Aces & 8s. Team TNA gets in the ring and help him attack Aces & 8s. They leave the ring. Team TNA stands on top tonight.
Ivelisse Velez is shown in the back getting ready for her Gut Check match. A video plays to give us background information about her. Velez says she has been wrestling for 9 years. She trains hard and then talks about her mother. Without her mother, she wouldnt be here. Being on Gut Check is awesome as TNA has the best women division around. She will soon be on the main stage.

Footage plays from the segment that just occurred between Aces & 8s and Team TNA. As it ends, Aces & 8s come through the doorway to the parking lot. They are yelling. They are furious. As they walk away, Kurt Angle is shown behind them. He turns to the camera and says, Lets go.
A video plays hyping LeiD Tapa. It shows her training for wrestling with her uncle, The Barbarian. Put handwork in what you are doing. It doesnt matter how long it takes. If you try hard, you will get there. TNA is a dream come true when she is in front of thousands of people. She wants to share her dream to give other people opportunities. Jeremy Borash is in the ring. He introduces Ivelisse Velez first. She comes out on the stage. She screams to get the crowd involved. She walks down and gets in the ramp. LeiD Tapa comes out next. She makes her way to the ring. She screams after getting in the ring.
Ivelisse Velez vs. LeiD Tapa in the Gut Check Challenge Both move close to each other to lock-up but Tapa moves back. Velez goes right to Tapa to hit her in the face. Tapa comes back as she grabs the throat of Velez. She lifts her up and then tosses her down. Velez gets up and goes right back to Tapa. She applies a front choke hold. Tapa fights her off. Velez gets up and goes for a rear naked choke after Tapa lifting her up on her shoulders. Tapa is too strong as she whips Velez down. She gets up and Velez goes into the ropes. Tapa knocks her right down. Velez holds the back of her head. Tapa gets her up, but Velez fights back with punches in the gut. Tapa does a huge headbutt. There goes Velez. She slowly gets up. Tapa puts Velez in the corner. Tapa runs to her, but Velez kicks her in the face. She goes to the apron, jumps over and hits a DDT. Both get up and Velez fights back with closelines that dont work. She does a hurricanrona. Both get up, but Tapa is too strong. She picks Velez up and hits a samoan drop. She covers but Velez kicks out. Tapa talks to Taryn Terrell, but Velez applies a front choke hold. Tapa tries to come out of it, but she cant and taps. Velez releases it, gets up and celebrates the huge win.

Jeff Hardy is in the locker room getting ready for his match. Austin Aries comes into the camera shot. He tells him to do some squats and really get into them. Austin says they may have differences, but Aries is rooting for Hardy in his match at Lockdown. Ray is the golden child now. Jeff was the golden child while they faced. He wants to see him pull off a victory. Aries leaves and Hardy watches him as he walks away.

The camera shows the Impact Zone. The fans are on their feet. A video plays showing AJ Styles wife. She met him in 1995. He was aggressive and most people were scared of him when he wrestled in high school. A friend of his talks about AJ and then his wife mentions Claire Lynch. AJ never said anything about it. Is he doing drugs or drinking? He was changing. His friend has known him for 30 years. He says he should be with his family. They come first. You can hear noise and its AJ. He comes in with messy hair and rough face hair. He says they dont get it. He turns around and gets on his motorcycle. He zooms away.
Video plays showing Robbie E and Robbie T. Mr. T shows off his dance skills. He is the real bro. In the past couple of weeks, he cant take Mr. E anymore. Robbie T ducks to let Rockstar Spud hit Robbie E. Last week, Robbie E slaps Mr. T and that angered the giant. Mr. E ran away.
Robbie E is in the ring with a mic. He says sometimes you have to admit when there is a bigger bro and a better bro. So, Rob Terry, can you come down? Mr. T walks down the ramp. Mr. E opens the velvet rope for him to come to the ring. Mr. E gets in the ring and waits for Mr. T. Both are in now. Robbie E says this has got out of hand. Slapping him in the face was out of line. He risked them of being bros. He risked their friendship. Their friendship met the world to them. He wants to show him out much he means to him. Robbie E wont be jealous anymore. Robbie E wants to tell Robbie T that he is a better bro. For old time sakes, how about a bro-off? People want to see him be a bro. Robbie E will start it off. What do you say? Robbie E extends his fist. Robbie T fist punches him. Robbie E tells them to hit the music. Mr. E does his dance moves. He climbs a fake ladder, hits his foot and jumps up and down. Robbie stops and tells Mr. T that he got him to smile. Robbie T is the bro-off champion. Robbie E sees that Robbie T deserves the spotlight. Mr. E will leave the ring. Give us what we want, Robbie T! Robbie T takes off his sweater as music hits. He builds up his arm and starts fist pumping. As he does, Robbie E comes back in with a poster. Robbie T turns around and Mr. E smacks him in the face with it. Mr. T goes down to his knees. Robbie E fist pumps, but Mr. T is up and behind him. Robbie E turns around and sees him. He is scared for his life. He runs away. They arent bros anymore.
Bully Ray is backstage lifting weights. Austin Aries walks up to him. He tells him how to lift weights properly. Austin says he is rooting for Ray in his match at Lockdown. Ray tells him that he doesnt bother him. He asks if Austin likes that tag title. Austin says it is nice. Ray knows as he held it. He is going for the World Title now. Nothing will try to affect him. He tells Aries to get out of his face. Aries does and then tells Ray to say, Hi to Brooke for him.

Bad Influence, Daniels and Kazarian dance down the ramp and get in the ring. Bully Ray follows. He yells at Taz from the stage and then runs to the ring. Jeff Hardy comes out with the two titles and gets in the ring.
Bad Influence vs. Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy Bully Ray and Daniels start. Bully is put in the corner, but quickly changes it and slaps the chest of Daniels twice. Kazarian enters but Ray does a back body drop. Daniels comes back and knocks Ray off of his feet. He tags Kazarian. He enters and they do a double suplex. They do the gangnum style dance. Ray gets up and knocks both of them down. He does the dance of his own. Ray is on a role and sends both of them out of the ring.

Were back, and Bad Influence is still on the receiving end of a beating from Hardy and Bubba. Hardy springboards off Bubba to hit Poetry In Motion, then Hardy whips Bubba into splashes on both men in the corner. Daniels and Kazarian do something I dont quite catch while I was typing that last sentence and turn the tide, Daniels hits a clothesline, and Kazarian hits a springboard legdrop on Hardy for 2. Daniels holds Hardy in a side suplex position so Kazarian can nail him with a springboard guillotine legdrop. Hardy hits Daniels with the Whisper In The Wind, then gets to his corner and makes the hot tag so Bubba can come in and clean house on both opponents. Bubba with a uranage on Daniels for 2, then he tosses Kazarian off the top rope and side suplexes Daniels for 2. Bubba dumps Kazarian to the floor and slams Daniels so Hardy can hit the Swanton, but Kazarian jumps on the apron and shoves Hardy off the top rope, allowing Daniels to nail Bubba and hit an STO on Hardy for 2. Bubba big boots Kazarian and then picks Daniels up and hits an electric chair so Hardy can hit him with the Swanton for the win.
Winners: Jeff Hardy & Bully Ray
Decent main event, Bubba and Hardy made Daniels and Kazarian look like a couple of jobbers, but whatever.
We head back to the Aces & Eights clubhouse where Angle fights his way into their boardroom and dukes it out with the Vice President. Angle smashes a beer bottle over the VPs head and knocks him out, then decides to find out who he really is and pulls his mask off.
