No word yet on what his arrest means for booking plans but WWE creative was
working late on Wednesday night to come up with ideas, which doesn't sound good
for Swagger and Zeb Colter.
There's talk that if WWE officials saw fit
to change the direction of the match, then Dolph Ziggler would most likely get
the WrestleMania match with Del Rio.
If Swagger ends up suspended and
loses the WrestleMania match, the arrest altogether would cost him upwards of
$250,000.

Kenny
King Interview: Talks Las Vegas, Who He Would Like To Wrestle, WWE And
More
TNA Wrestler Kenny King was recently
interviewed by Heather Turk for the Examiner. In the interview King talks about the
possibility of going to back to the WWE, the local Las Vegas scene, Who he would
like to wrestle in the future and more. Below is a quick recap:
If he would ever go to the WWE: "No one in their right
mind would ever say no to WWE. Thats where the money isthats the top of the
mountain for this sport, if I got the opportunity, Im sure Id take it, but for
now Im happy where Im at. Its too crowded over there; at TNA, I get some
space.
Who he would like to wrestle in the
future: (Aside from his X Division feud with Rob Van Dam) I
patterned my style off of him, so its just so surreal now to see me in the same
ring with him, King stated. King said hed love the opportunity to go
one-on-one with AJ Styles. Hed also like the opportunity to one day feud with
former WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin. Sheltons sort of a double-edged sword,
as Ive constantly been compared to him throughout my career, King said. But I
think our levels of athleticism would complement each other nicely, and weve
never fought each other one-on-one before.
On the
possibility of Impact Wrestling tapings coming to Vegas Ive
already talked to Dixie about it, King said. Hopefully Ill be able to coax
her into it.
- No confirmed word yet on what kind of actions, if any, WWE will take against Jack Swagger after his arrest on Tuesday night. The only thing we've heard is that they were considering "booking changes" which can't be good for Swagger.
There is talk within WWE about how creative is handling Dolph Zigglers push. While he had strong wins over Randy Orton at Survivor Series and John Cena at TLC, Ziggler has been constantly losing on WWE TV lately. He is still in line for a World Heavyweight Title run but the momentum he had at the end of 2012 has stalled out.

Roderick Strong def. ACH via a brainbuster/backbreaker combination
Charlie Haas def. Pepper Parks via rollup

S.C.U.M. def. Davey Richards, Michael Elgin and Adam Cole
Details:

- It was announced they will be back in Cincinnati before the end of 2013.
Jay Briscoe def. QT Marshall
The night started off with QT Marshall generating some heat with the crowd leading into a match with Jay Briscoe. Jay took the win by pinfall.
Jay Lethal def. Tadarius Thomas
Jay Lethal picked up another victory on the road to his World Title shot. Jay defeated Thomas with the Lethal Injection.
Mark Briscoe def. Spyder Nate Webb
Mark Briscoe pinned Spyder Nate Webb after a Froggy Bow. Lots of comedy with the Redneck Kung-Fu in the beginning.
Roderick Strong def. ACH
Roderick Strong pinned ACH after a great back and forth match. He picked up the win after a brainbuster/backbreaker combo. ACH had the crowd solidly behind him even before breaking out his high flying moves. At the time this looked like the match of the night.
Hoopla w/ Truth Martini
After intermission Truth Martini came out with two scantily clad women for his show called Hoopla. After some cheap gags he brought out Adam Cole to challenge him to defend his title soon against Matt Taven. Cole super kicked Truth to the delight of the fans.
Charlie Haas def. Pepper Parks
Charlie Hass cut a promo that went as low as insulting some fans in wheelchairs. As tasteless as that was, his match with Pepper Parks was said to be just as disappointing. Parks gave some good effort, but the finish was opening a shaken can of beer in Parks eyes to blind him followed up with a roll-up.
BJ Whitmer def. Kyle OReilly
BJ Whitmer and Kyle OReilly started off methodically, but they heated up to have a great match that saw Whitmer go over by submission. Hard hitting as expected by both men.
6-Man Elimination Tag Match S.C.U.M (Kevin Steen, Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino) def. Davey Richards, Adam Cole & Michael Elgin
Said to be a very fun main event. Davey Richards was the first to be eliminated by Kevin Steen with a Package Piledriver. Steen then eliminated Adam Cole via F5. Jimmy Jacobs was the first member of SCUM to be eliminated as Michael Elgin pinned him. Elgin continued to fight in a 2-on-1 situation before eliminating Steve Corino. This brought the match down to Steen & Elgin, where Steen was able to eliminate Elgin with a reverse small package, thanks to interference from SCUM. Jay Lethal and The Briscoes came out for the save after the match, with Lethal confronting Steen to end the show. SCUM seemed to have a great time working the ringside crowd insulting fans during the match.
WWEs writing team has been in somewhat of a rut lately, with a lot of disagreements and politics. The recent flip flopping on the Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow breakup is seen as one of example of poor planning and lack of commitment to storylines. Many of WWEs top talents including The Rock, CM Punk, John Cena and others are pitching their own ideas and not relying on creative to direct their characters.
Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have been getting rave reviews behind the scenes in WWE. All three members of The Shield are seen as having breakout potential, with Reigns having the look and intensity of a top tier guy, Rollins being a great worker and Dean Ambrose having the it factor that sets him apart from everybody else. Ambrose has been given the strong compliment of compared to a modern day Terry Funk.

Swagger's Arrest: What Wellness Policy Calls For Posted by Steve Carrier on 02/20/2013 at 09:33 PM
- Earlier today, TMZ.com broke the story that WWE superstar Jack Swagger was arrested in Mississippi last night after a SmackDown taping and charged with DUI, marijuana possession and speeding (all misdemeanors).
Swagger is in the midst of the biggest push of his career and is scheduled to challenge for Alberto Del Rio's World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 29. It remains to be seen how WWE will respond to Swagger's DUI & drug arrest, but the following portion of WWE's Wellness Policy could spell trouble for him:
"Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal."
"Subject" to immediate dismissal does not mean mandatory dismissal. Countless WWE wrestlers have been arrested for DUI in recent years, however the drug possession charge could really hurt him.

WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly driving under the influence ... with pot in his car.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Swagger -- real name Jacob Hager -- was leaving a "Smackdown" taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was pulled over for speeding.
According to law enforcement, the officer who pulled him over determined Swagger was driving under the influence -- and a search revealed Swagger was in possession of marijuana.
We're told Swagger -- a former WWE World Heavyweight champ -- was taken in by local sheriff's deputies ... and later released on his own recognizance.
We reached out to WWE, who tells TMZ, "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."
