Big News on Wade Barrett's WWE TV Return Posted by Steve Carrier on 08/18/2012 at 07:06 PM
- During an interview with Arda Ocal of theScore in Los Angeles, Wade Barrett revealed that he is not 100 percent. Barrett said he still needs a few more weeks to fully recover from an arm injury before he returns to the ring with his new character being more aggressive. Barrett also promoted his new WWE Studios movie, "Dead Man Down" due out in Spring 2012.
Antonio Cesaro teased during an interview with Arda Ocal that he would change the US Title to the retired European Title if he won his
match against Santino Marella at SummerSlam this Sunday. Footage from the interview is embedded above.
Alberto Del Rio starts things off by saying he wants his title shot back, because Sheamus stole his car and he got rewarded. He says he is being treated unfairly by Booker T, and he's not leaving the ring until he gets his match reinstated. Booker comes out and says Alberto has been a pain in his side since he became GM, but Alberto says he doesn't care because he handles business like a man. Booker says a man wouldn't hire some cops to beat someone up, and he's not tolerating actions like that from anyone. Alberto says he earned the right to be number one contender, and he says he spoke will his lawyers, and... Chris Jericho cuts him off and heads to the ring!
Jericho asks him to please shut the hell up, because no one cares about his lawyers or anything to do with him, and he says Alberto whines like a chihuahua. Alberto asks who he thinks he is, then Jericho tells him to shut up in Spanish, and he insults him again then he says the translation was "Alberto's breath smells like dog poop." Jericho says Alberto isn't getting a title shot, so maybe when he beats Dolph Ziggler he will also get a title shot and beat Sheamus on Sunday. Alberto says there's no way that happens, then they argue a bit but Booker tells them it's not going down like this. Booker says he already said Sheamus isn't competing at Summerslam, but they will have a main event tonight, and it will be Alberto versus Jericho.

- It would appear that WWE has parted ways with developmental wrestler DT Porter as he is no longer listed on the roster page of FCWWrestling.info. He rarely appeared on Florida Championship Wrestling cards after joining the developmental promotion last year. In May, Porter, whose real name is Brian McGhee, posted a message on Facebook crying for help due to alleged mistreatment from camp officials. He then claimed that his account was hacked.
The "help" statement read: "Guys, I don't know how much longer I can handle this. Every day is a constant struggle to keep my sanity. I love wrestling and it's all I ever wanted to do. Already going crazy since I've been for like ten months now, but it gets worse. Every day a trainer goes out of his way to rib or disrespect me in front of the boys because I've been out so long. I can't clear myself. I wanna wrestle more than anything, but I don't even know who I am anymore. It's so f***ing hard. I just feel it just building inside of me and I don't know how much longer I can contain it. I have daydreams of just f***ing everyone up on some real shit. I'm not a kid. I'm a f***ing man. But what do you do when the people in charge of helping you get to the main roster are the ones making your life the hardest. I've been drinking almost every day. It's to the point to where I keep Vodka and Gin in my trunk. Help me!"
HHH Expected to Focus More on Tag Teams Posted by Steve Carrier on 08/16/2012 at 09:25 AM
- Some people who have worked closely with Triple H believe that when he gets more power in WWE, we will see more focus on the tag team division, putting the Divas division on the back-burner even more.
It should be noted that Triple H has never been high on women's wrestling. While WWE has been adding new women to developmental as of late, most of the new recruits are men and not women. Since Laurinaitis has been out of power, the days of recruiting models from agencies seem to be over.

TNA Knockout Gail Kim recently spoke to SpencerDailyReporter.com to promote this weekend's TNA house show tour in Iowa. says she's been "feeling the groove" since returning to TNA last year. Here are some highlights of what Gail Kim said about:
Working As Heel: "I'm looking forward to being the heel. I change my wrestling moves. When I'm a heel, I'm more technical and use submissions. When I'm a baby-face, I'm more of a high flyer."
Retirement: "I would love to leave wrestling at some point on a good note. Everybody wants to go out on top. Most of all, whatever I do next, I want to be passionate about. Because I've had wrestling so long, I know how happy you can be doing what you love. I'm looking forward to a future with my husband and what it holds."
She also talked about "feeling the groove" since returning to TNA last year and how hard it was WWE "sitting back and watch everybody in the ring doing what I love to do."
