Welcome to this weeks Ring of Honor! We are welcomed to the show by Kevin Kelly and Jim Cornette in the ring. Tonight we will have a Double Main Event, but the first we will see is Jay Lethal versus Michael Elgin.
Jay Lethal speaks of facing Michael Elgin. Jay says he will break the bubble that Elgin lives in. Lethal says he hopes Roderick Strong watches what he will do to Elgin. Truth Martini speaks of the House of Truth being a very cohesive unit. Elgin wonders if Lethal knows what hes gotten himself into. Elgin says he wont stop the match, no matter how much he begs. Roderick Strong interjects and says he and Elgin know that he will be there when Elgin messes up. Strong then sarcastically calls Elgin porky. Elgin says he can handle it, and they break out in an argument.
Jay Lethal makes his way to the ring. Michael Elgin makes his way to the ring, with Truth Martini.

Jay and Michael lock up. Elgin back Jay against the corner, and clean breaks. Elgin backs up, keeping eye contact with Lethal. They lock up again, but Elgin throws Jay across the ring. Once more, they lock up. Jay gets a Side Headlock, but is thrown against the ropes. Jay tries to take down Elgin, but to no avail. The two lock up once again. Jay gets a Side Headlock, and is thrown against the ropes. Lethal tries to take down Elgin again, but Elgin stands unfased. Elgin yells Lethal to do it again, but Lethal punches Elgin. Elgin goes for a Larait, but Lethal dodges and chops Elgin. Elgin is thrown to the outside, and Martini tries to distract. Elgin gets back in the ring, but Lethal goes for the Lethal Injection. Elgin hits a Lariat to Lethals back. Lethal runs the ropes, but Martini grabs Lethals leg. Jay runs to Elgin, but gets Clotheslined to the mat. Elgin covers, but a kick out.

Jay elbows out of a Side Headlock and runs the ropes. Elgin grabs Jays head, and sends him to the floor. As Elgin distracts the ref, Truth Martini beats on Lethal. Elgin goes to the floor and grabs Lethal. Jay is whipped to the barricade, and has his ribs smashed against it. Jay goes to send Jay to another barricade, but Lethal reverses. Elgin is thrown back in the ring, and Lethal follows. Elgin immediately grabs Lethal, and hits a Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out by Lethal. Elgin grabs Jays head, but Lethal attempts to make a comeback. Jay manages to get some fists, but Elgin retaliates with a Snapmare. Following that, Elgin locks in a Rear Headlock. Lethal gets up, and hits a Chin Breaker. Elgin throws Lethal to the apron, but Jay hits Elgin. Jay goes to springboard to Elgin, but Truth grabs his leg. Elgin is shouldered in the gut, and Lethal hits a Sunset Flip. Pin, but a kick out. Elgin attempts to Powerbomb Lethal, but Jay gets out. Lethal hits Elgin in the face with a Superkick. Pin, but a kick out. Jay goes for the Lethal Combination, but Elgin hits some forearms. Jay tries to kick Elgin, but Michael grabs the legs. Lethal attempts an Enziguri, but Elgin moves. Elgin picks up Lethal from the mat, and hits a German Suplex. Pin, but a kickout. Elgin goes for a knee to Jay, but Lethal grabs the leg. Lethal hits an Enziguri to Elgins head. Lethal hits a Lethal Combination. Lethal goes for an Elbow Drop, but Strong comes to the ring. Jay hits Strong away, and gets off the top rope. Elgin and Strong begin arguing, as Lethal Dropkicks Strong out of the ring. Lethal runs the ropes, and connects with a Lethal Injection.
Winner: Jay Lethal
After the match, Elgin goes to leave the ring. Strong yells at Elgin, and Michael gets back in the ring. Elgin is given a mic, and gets close to Strong. Elgin tells Strong he will kill him if he makes another mistake.

Inside ROH: The Briscoe Brothers are shown doing interviews and meet and greets. During it, Paradyse and Chris Silvio, two Ohio Valley Wrestling Superstars interrupt them. This leads to a match between the two, which The Briscoes win.

Kevin Kelly and Jim Cornette welcome us back, speaking of the Main Event. Kevin Steen will face Eddie Edwards for the Ring of Honor Championship. As Cornette speaks of Steen, he comes to the ring. Followed by Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino, Kevin walks down the ramp with a mic in hand. Steen asks Cornette if he can hear what the fans are chanting. Kevin asks the fans to chant it again, as the erupt in Mr. Wrestling chants. Cornette gets in the ring, as Steen says he has a lot to speak to him about. Cornette says the reason Kevin hasnt been announced as Mr. Wrestling is because of his actions. Steen says he, the fans and his championship disagree. Steen says he wants to speak of a dinner he has with some sponsors. Kevin says it was very goof, because he didnt let anyone bleed. Jim says its because he threatened a mans life. Steen says he only said he would eat his face if he kept begin provoked. Cornette says what he believed would be true. Jim says he is ruining ROHs image. Cornette says from know on, every time Steen has a match, it will be for the ROH World Championship. Cornette then says, sooner or later Steen will get ROH kicked of the air. Steen says, Sooner or later, we will be dead. You sooner, and me later. Steen then says Cornette will never live to see the day that he will lose his title.

Kevin charges to Eddie, but Edwards begins hitting Steens face. Steen retaliates with some forearms, as he pics up Eddie. Steen throws Eddie to the floor, which smashes Jacobs. Steen is taken to the floor by Eddie. Edwards goes to the apron for a kick to Steen. Kevin grabs Eddie leg, and trips Edwards smashing his face to the apron. Eddie smashes Steen to the barricade, and runs a knee to him. Kevin goes for a Powerbomb to Eddie, but Edwards reverses into a Hurricanrana. Steen picks up Edwards, and does a Fallaway Slam into the apron. Steen throws Eddie into the barricade while pointing at a Steen Kill Steen sign. Kevin drags Eddie around the arena, and puts his head into the barricade again. Eddie tries to fight back, and headbutts Steen. Kevin seems unfased, and puts Eddie near the ring. Steen hits a forearm. Steen grabs Eddie, and begins yelling at Cornette. Steen begins biting Eddies face. Steen throws Eddie in the ring, and kicks him in the back. Eddie slaps Steen in the face. Steen throws Steen in the corner, and begins choking him with his foot. Steen does it again, talking to the camera.

Steen is clubbing Eddies back, but Edwards fights back. The two begins trading forearms in the middle of the ring. Steen yells at Cornette Right from the 1980′s as he locks in a Headlock. Steen whips Eddie towards the corner. Eddie puts a foot up, who grabs a running Steen. Kevin is hit a a Belly-to-belly Suplex into the turnbuckles. Edwards hits a Suplex to Steen, as he goes top rope. Eddie connects with a Missile Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Eddie tries to whip Steen, but Kevin gets a Pumphandle position. Kevin picks up Eddie, and hits a Shoulderbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. Eddie grabs Steen in a Waistlock, but Steen elbows out. Eddie whips Steen to the floor. Eddie hits a Suicide Dive to Steen on the floor. Eddie gets back in the ring, and does another dive to Jimmy Jacobs. Steen gets back in the ring, and hits a Lariat to Eddie. Pin, but a kickout. Eddie is thrown in the corner, but goes top rope. Eddie hits a Codebreaker to Steen, followed by a Falcon Arrow. Pin, but a kickout. Eddie goes top rope, and attempts a Double Stomp. Steen moves away, and grabs Eddies legs. Steen locks in a Sharpshooter. Eddie inches to the ropes, and gets out of the move. Eddie gets on the apron, and begins hitting Steen. Kevin grabs Eddie, and hits a DDT elevated on the ropes. Pin, but a kickout. Steen yells at Eddie, saying he will never be beaten. Steen attempts a Cannonball, but Eddie moves. Edwards goes top rope, and hit a Double Stomp to Steen. Pin, but a kickout. Eddie goes to Double Stomp Kevin, who is on the apron. Steen moves, and grabs Eddie. Steen then Powerbombs Eddie through the Time Keepers table. Eddie is covered in the ring, but a kickout. Steen goes top rope, and goes for a Senton. Eddie puts his knees up. Steen and Edwards trade about five Superkicks. Steen was put on the top rope from Eddie. Edwards hits an Enziguri to Eddie. Edwards goes for a Backpack Stunner. Kevin gets out, and hits a Sleeper Suplex. Kevin picks up Edwards, and connects with the F-5.

As many feared, Viacom and DirecTV Failed to reach a working agreement last night and all viacom network feeds have been removed from DirecTV including SpikeTV. Below is the press release from both companies.
We are deeply disappointed that DirecTV dropped Viacom's channels before our midnight deadline this evening, severing our connection with its nearly 20 million subscribers nationwide. We proposed a fair deal that amounted to an increase of only a couple pennies per day, per subscriber, and we remained willing to negotiate that deal right up to this evening's deadline. However, DirecTV refused to engage in meaningful conversation. EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DIRECTV customers were left without Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and 14 other channels today, after Viacom dropped its networks from DIRECTV at approximately midnight EDT. DIRECTV executives reached out to Viacom both yesterday and today with a new proposal and a request to keep the channels on while we continued to negotiate, but never heard back, so DIRECTV had to comply with their demand to take the channels down or face legal action.

"We have been very willing to get a deal done, but Viacom is pushing DIRECTV customers to pay more than a 30 percent increase, which equates to an extra $1 billion, despite the fact that the ratings for many of their main networks have plummeted and much of Viacom's programming can be seen for free online," said Derek Chang, DIRECTV executive vice president of Content, Strategy and Development. "Viacom sent us a letter last night that outlined our obligations to remove the channels by midnight or face legal action just as they were falsely telling viewers DIRECTV was responsible. Let's be clear, Viacom took these channels away from DIRECTV viewers."
On its Website www.directvpromise.com, an information resource for customers affected by programming disputes, DIRECTV pointed out that Viacom is demanding an exorbitant increase for many Viacom channels that customers may never watch. DIRECTV stated that if Viacom believes all of its networks are worth so much extra money, DIRECTV customers should have the right to choose which Viacom channels they want to pay to keep and which ones they don't.
"We have absolutely no problem compensating Viacom fairly, but they have now knowingly put our customers in the unreasonable position of either accepting their extravagant financial demands or losing some of their favorite TV shows," said Chang. "We feel our customers should not have to pay more for these networks than the customers of any other TV provider. We reiterated this to Viacom today and have not heard back from them."
"We understand that Viacom's actions are inconveniencing our customers so we are doing everything we can to help them find alternative programming until this gets resolved," Chang added. "Customers will now see a variety of replacement channels available to them on one screen, in a Mix Channel format, when they tune to a Viacom channel. For instance, those going to the Nickelodeon channel slot will see alternative choices for children's programming such as The Disney Channel, ABC Family, Cartoon Network, PBS Sprout, The Hub and Boomerang. AAA matchmaker Konnan joined Mister Saint Laurent on this weeks episode of MLW Radio, available right now at MLW.com. He spoke about CMLLs decision to introduce a new Mistico to replace WWEs Sin Cara.
Everyone knows who he is, said Konnen. Its a guy called Dragon Lee. Hes a young high flyer who is actually very good and does some really wild [stuff], but isnt as polished as Mistico and hes not very well liked even though hes a face in CMLL. One of the reasons is because Mexico City mostly likes heels. Mostly everyone gets booed in Arena Mexico that are babyfaces. Hes already getting booed and usually guys, whether its the guy who took over the Psicosis gimmick or the guy that took over the La Parka gimmick, at the beginning they get a lot of heat from the people because they know theyre not the original and people shout [stuff] at them.
Usually guys that were clones werent as good as the original guys and this guy isnt going to be the exception. I think that its CMLL being desperate because nothing theyre doing right now is really drawing. They dont really have any real big stars. They have a lot of good young wrestlers and some good veteran wrestlers, but they dont have those stars where you can bring them to a TV station and ask them to do an interview.

- We've noted before that WWE offered top women's wrestler Sara Del Rey a developmental deal. She was waiting on medical testing to come back but the feeling is that she will pass just fine.
There's speculation among some in WWE that Del Rey may be hired to help train the WWE Divas but that's not confirmed yet. Either way, Del Rey joining the company is seen as a major move.

Former WWE talent Serena Deeb, 26, was arrested on July 8, 2012 in Tampa, Florida for operating a vessel while intoxicated. Her crime was categorized as BUIBoating Under the Influence.
Deeb appeared for WWE in 2010 as a member of the CM Punk-led Straight Edge Society, a group which promoted and abided to abstinence and disciplineprimarily no smoking, drinking, or drugs. The faction acted as a militant organization, denouncing all people who didnt practice the Straight edge lifestyle, even those who also abstain from substance abuse. Her contract was terminated in August of that year, with WWE sources citing that she was not maintaining the gimmicks image in public.
Deeb continued to wrestle independently following her release from WWE. She took an indefinite break from the profession in October 2011 after suffering a serious concussion in a match and now works as a yoga instructor.

AJs music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. She says that this Sunday in the WWE Championship match she will be the special guest referee. Her actions will greatly affect the outcome of the match. Its a very difficult and emotional position for her. She introduces CM Punk.
Punks music hits and he strolls down to the ring. He addresses AJ by asking what she wants. AJ says that last week Punk said that she is mentally unstable and needs professional help, but she scoffs at the notion and says that she is in complete control at all times. The crowd chants *This Chicks Crazy*. She starts to say that Punk has great eyes, and he fills her up with passion and desire. In essence, he turns her on. AJ drops to one knee. CM Punk will you marry me?
Daniel Bryan runs down to the ring screaming No!. He tells AJ that this will be the biggest mistake she ever makes, and he cant allow it. Everyone knows that CM Punk doesnt love her. He is just playing her because she is the special guest referee for their match. Punk only cares about himself. Punk says that Bryan doesnt know the first thing about him, so he should shut up. Bryan says if hes wrong, then Punk should say I do. Bryan says that while Punk sees her as a Special Guest Referee, he sees her as a special person. Bryan drops to one knee and proposes!
Punk interrupts and says that this is spur of the moment decision and not something Bryan had planned. He asks Bryan to produce the ring. He cant, so they begin to argue.
*May I have your attention please* Surprise! Im back and running RAW tonight. Ive enjoyed watching the love triangle and I think Punk and AJ make a great couple. So they will be in a mixed tag match against Vickie Guerrero and Daniel Bryan.
Bryan says that it isnt fair and starts to scream.
*May I have your attention please* Dont feel too bad Bryan, if you win maybe AJ will see him in a different light, or maybe not. Either way, good luck.
AJ says that the proposals caught her by surprise, so she needs to go to the back and think. She believes that everything happens for a reason. She has a feeling that she is going to walk out of this arena with her future husband.

Sheamus v. Jack Swagger
Swagger takes him back but they get back to their feet. Swagger tries for the second rope drop, but Sheamus catches him and hits the Celtic Cross. Sheamus connects with the Brogue Kick and this match is over.

Alberto Del Rio appears on the Tron and says that this Sunday he is going to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus.
Santino is in the back with Zack Ryder. Santino says that the Anonymous GM is in the building tonight and he is making it his mission to find the GM. Santino dons his Sherlock gear and starts to search.

Dolph Ziggler & Tensai v. Tyson Kidd & Christian
Vickie is on commentary for this match. The match is underway as we come back to RAW and Tyson tags in Christian. He flies into the ring at Dolph and levels him with a clothesline. Tensai gets the tag and counters a Killswitch. Tensai runs into the turnbuckle and gets hit with a flying elbow. Tensai takes control and slams Christian down to the mat. Tensai hits a back splash, and this match is over.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler & Tyson Kidd
After the match, Tensai takes the attack to Tyson Kidd. He lifts him into the air and hits a Powerbomb on the apron! He follows with a back splash.
At ringside Cole and Lawler begin to argue about who would be the best GM. Whilst arguing, Cole accidentally splashes water on Lawler.

At first, Cole refuses to read the message. Jerry walks over and starts to read instead. Seeing Cole and Lawler bicker is bringing back great memories, so tonight in a WrestleMania rematch from my era as GM, Jerry Lawler will face Michael Cole.

Brodus Clay v. Drew McIntyre
Drew climbs to the top rope and leaps for a crossbody. Clay slams him down to the mat and quickly hits a front splash. This match is over before it starts.

# Santino is in the back and accuses Jericho of being the GM. Jericho says that how does he know that Santino isnt using this as a ruse and he is the GM? Santino considers it for a moment and then walks away. Show walks into the shot and Jericho says that they used to be one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Show says that some of the most embarrassing moments of his career happened when he was in JeriShow. He tells Chris to stay out of his way and maybe he wont knock him out.

John Cenas music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He says that Sunday at Money in the Bank he is going to climb the ladder and win. He puts over the PPV. The Money in the Bank match changes the landscape of the WWE. He begins to rundown his opponents and why he will beat them.
John Cena & Kane v. Big Show & Jericho
Cena and Jericho start the match off. Cena whips him into the corner and hits a bulldog. Show gets the tag. Cena dodges a couple of punches and tags in Kane. He backs Show into the corner and unloads with a series of punches. Show reverses and hits a big clothesline. Show connects with a big headbutt that sends Kane out of the ring. Back in the ring, Kane is whipped into the ropes and hit with a shoulder block. Jericho gets the tag and immediately walks into a punch. Cena gets the tag and suplexes Jericho. Chris whips Cena into the ropes and distracts the referee so Big Show can hit him with a cheap punch.

Back from the break, Show locks up with Cena and pushes him to the mat. He lifts him up and chops him hard across the chest. Show attempts a second, but Cena tries to lift him up for a scoop slam. Shows weight falls on top of Cena for a pin. Cena kicks out but is quickly lifted up into a bear hug. Cena escapes and hits a side slam. Kane gets the tag and crushes Show into the corner. Kane hits a DDT and goes for the cover, but Show kicks out. Kane takes to the top rope and leaps for a lariat, but Show dodges and hits him with a spear instead!
Kane kicks out, and Jericho gets the tag. He takes Kane and puts him against the second rope to choke him out. Show takes a cheap shot at Kane on the apron.

Back from the break Kane is going after Jericho and tags in Cena. He hits a couple of shoulder blocks and signals for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena misses and Jericho tries for the Walls. Cena escapes and hits the AA! Show pulls him out of the ring on the cover and this match is ruled a DQ.
Winners: John Cena & Kane
After the match, Show grabs a ladder from under the ring. He puts in the ring and goes on the offensive. Cena grabs one of his own and clears the ring.

Eve Torres is in the back with Punk and says that she is worried about Punk. She says that AJ might go crazy if she doesnt hear what she wants to tonight. Eve puts over Punks title reign and then says that AJ must emasculate Punk.
Santino is in the back and finds a cell phone. He says that it must be the RAW Anonymous GMs. Khali walks up and picks up the phone. Santino asks if he is the GM, but Khali gives him the run around.

Sin Cara v. Heath Slater
Cara bounces off the ropes, but gets hit with a shoulder and covered. Cara kicks out. Slater hits a scoop slam and then gets behind him and locks on a rear headlock. Cara flies into the ring with a clothesline. He hits La Mistica and this match is over.
Winner: Sin Cara
As a result of this match, Sin Cara has qualified for the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
After the match Heath Slater gets on the mic and says that he will beat any past Champion. Bob Backlunds music hits and he makes his way down to the ring! Bob Backlund!
Heath Slater v. Bob Backlund
Slater extends his hand for a shake and Bob accepts, and then punches Bob in the head. Backlund gets behind Slater and locks in a Chickenwing Crossface!
Winner: Bob Backlund
There was no referee, so the last match was not official.
Michael Cole stands up to reveal the poll results of whether or not there should be a match between he and Lawler. It was 75% in favor of a match. Cole tells the fans that they are hypocrites.

Michael Cole v. Jerry Lawler
Cole tries to escape, so Booker T throws him back into the ring. Lawler picks up Cole for an airplane spin and then goes for a cover. This match is over.
Winner: Jerry Lawler
Josh Mathews and Booker T were on commentary for this match, so Mathews takes to the podium when the Anonymous GM flickers. He announces that since Booker T interfered, Cole is being declared the winner.
Santino comes out and says that he has had enough. He has come to the conclusion that if the GM is here tonight, the only place he can be is under the ring, because he has checked everywhere else. Mathews reads that no he is not. There is absolutely no one under the ring, so leave now.
Santino looks under the ring and starts to get dragged under. Hornswoggle comes tumbling out. Lawler asks if swoggle is the one causing all of this misery. He shakes his head yes. Then he goes after everyone and clears the ring.

CM Punk & AJ v. Daniel Bryan & Eve Torres
Punk and Bryan start the match. They exchange blows and Bryan takes an overhead tumble. Bryan charges at Punk and connects with a couple of knees. Punk whips him into the ropes and hits a spinning heel kick.
Eve gets the tag so AJ is brought into the ring. AJ gets on top of Eve, but it quickly pushed back and into the corner. She fights her way free, but gets caught with a punch and spear. Eve connects with a front headlock and then throws AJ down to the mat hard. Eve tries for a summersault, but AJ gets her knees up. She charges at Eve in the corner and connects with a knee and spinning heel kick. AJ keeps her from making a tag, but then gets kicked away. Eve tries to tag in Bryan, but he backs away. AJ goes for the roll up, and this match is over.
Winners: AJ & Punk
Bryan gets on the mic and says that he just proved that she means more to him than any match. Punk says that hell lay it all on the line right now because he doesnt care if it costs him the match at MitB and his Championship. The fact is that he is not going to marry AJ. If Punk saying that hurts her, then he is sorry. But at least he cares enough about her to tell her the truth. AJ walks up to Punk and slaps him across the face. Bryan tells AJ to come home. AJ walks over and slaps him too! AJ closes the show with a series of Yes chants in the ring and then skips her way to the back.
It was previously reported
here on TNAInsider that DirecTV was set to drop 26 channels including Spike
TV. In response to this many TNA fans and wrestlers took to twitter trying to
take action and keep Spike and the other 25 channels on Direct. An interesting
piece of information was found on their offical website.

DIRECTV is not willingly removing MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy
Central, Spike or any other channels even though Viacom began telling viewers
exactly that at approximately 11:24 p.m. EST last night. The truth is, that only
5 minutes later, Viacom sent an express letter via courier to DIRECTV
threatening legal action if DIRECTV did not comply with Viacoms demand that DIRECTV turn off the channels. Viacom is
legally forcing us to take down the channels, while publicly claiming they are
against it.
DirecTV has been saying that they will not be
removing any of the channels unless they are forced to and will keep the
channels up during the negotiations if allowed.
Also, the offical DirecTV twitter page replied to the Dixie Carter
video on TNA Today in which they said :

DIRECTV is dropping channels again. Were very disappointed, especially since weve been working to come to a resolution, even granting DIRECTV a deal extension. We simply can't understand why DirecTV doesn't value the channels its subscribers watch the most.
In an interesting turn of events, Kenny
King decided to add fuel to the fire by posting a tweet that will no doubt get
Ring of Honor fans riled up while leaving TNA fans to wonder whether one of
ROH's most popular tag teams will reunite on Impact. King posted the following
on hisofficial
twitter account:
"As far as I'm concerned, #ANX is NOT
dead. Rhett is my brother, and us not working together in one place is not the
end."

Austin Aries on his emotions on
winning the TNA World Title:

It was great. I dont know if you can sum it up in a sentence
or two, but a lot of emotions kind of hit me. The culmination of not only my
year in TNA, twelve years in the wrestling business, but really just a lifelong
love affair with the wrestling business. To think back to the early days of my
childhood and getting into professional wrestling and to think where I am some
twenty five years later, its hard to put that all in perspective, but Im sure
in the coming days and weeks, it will start to sink in a little more. It was a
great feeling and a great moment. The energy coming out the Impact Zone, the
response I have seen so far in the wrestling community has been overwhelming.
Im glad I can be somebody that can help create a buzz right now in this
business.
Was winning the TNA World title the
highlight of his career?

Yeah, I have to say it ranks right up there. I was always one
of those people who never had a favorite this or a favorite that. This right
now, with everything that went along with it and the culmination of it, I think
it ranks right up there with the greatest moment so far of my
career.
Talks about the year he has had
starting with last years Destination X:

When I walked in there, I had come to a decision that I wasnt
really happy with the opportunities I was getting in the wrestling business. I
felt I was at a certain level as a performer and a competitor and if I wasnt
going to get that opportunity or get treated in a way that was fitting for
someone of a guy with my talents, then I decided it was time to do something
else.
Ive always been a guy that did his own thing, and set all my own
rules, and that was a decision that I made, but when TNA offered that
opportunity, I had to take it. It was a great opportunity to come back and have
a second chance at a place where you dont always have a second chance at. I
didnt look back and had nothing to lose at that point and I said 'here I am,
this is me. Either take it or leave it.' But I can be a money guy in this
business and in this company and so far I have proven that and its been
great.
Talks about the positive reaction he has
been getting from fans:

Part of that overwhelming reaction and that moment, it could
not have been created had Bobby Roode not had such a successful run as champion
the last 7 or 8 months, and the job he has done as World Champion I dont think
can be taken for granted or give him enough accolades on what hes done. That
helped create that special moment last night. I just try to go out there and be
myself. My job is to go out there and entertain people and get a reaction out of
them. Make them care, one way or the other.
I guess just go out there and
be myself and if you love me thats great and if you hate me thats great too.
As long as you care when I walk out that curtain or when you see me on camera,
thats all I care about. I think people can gravitate to someone whos
authentic, who know who he is, whos comfortable with who he is, who goes out
there and expects a lot out of himself. Makes some boisterous claims but backs
them up. I also think my passion and love for this business is something I hope
translates. Its been an interesting ride going in there obviously I was new to
them and maybe it took them a while for them to warm up to me, but right now
each and every time I step out there, it seems like the Aries Army just keeps
growing.
On how fans are saying this title
victory is a great moment for not only TNA, but all of wrestling:

Its touching and Im glad they feel that way. I think that
over the years and Im a wrestling fan too and there have been moments and you
go back to the night Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero became wrestling champions.
You go back to when CM Punk became champion. The night Daniel Bryan became
champion. AJ Styles getting the opportunity in TNA to be the man. I think as a
wrestling fan, when you see performers or colleagues succeed and you know they
are the type of people that have the same love and passion and respect for the
business that you do, thats what you want to see.
You want to see those
people succeed because you know the right people are making it to the top and
then its our job to make sure the wrestling industry thrives and continues to
grow. I feel like we are primed for the next boom in wrestling. If you look at
the two major companies, you got the right guys in the right positions. I think
with some good thought behind it we can really create a buzz and get people
interested in the mainstream and the masses get interested in wrestling
again.
On Hulk Hogan being behind
him:

Initially I didnt deal with Hulk a lot.We didnt have a lot of
interaction. But I hear a lot of the criticisms within the company and outside
the company about his role. My dealings with him have been great. He has a
really good mind for the business. I dont think people understand that. He was
one of the most successful performers of all time in this business for a reason.
It went beyond just his charisma, his look and all these other factors. He has a
great mind for it and I appreciate that he had confidence in me and everyone
else in the company had the confidence in me.
On the X Division:
Quote
I think if you look at the pay per view last night there was
some quality talent that was on the PPV. I imagine some of those guys will
continue to be a part of Impact Wrestling moving forward. I think if you look
out there, there is a lot of talent who are not under contract to another
company or soon will not be under contract to another company, who we definitely
want to take a look at and see if they have something to bring to TNA Impact
Wrestling. We tried to do the reboot of the X division last year and we tried to
infuse some new talent into it. Just through some circumstances and some
injuries and some departures, I dont think it sustained itself as they had
hoped.
So I think there will be more effort going forward. When you
couple that with the Gut Check concept too, its another tool to infuse new
talent. Kenny King and Mason Andrews and Rubix, those are all guys who I think
if you continue to give opportunities too, will grow with the company and become
guys who will definitely be entertaining in the X division and
beyond.

Morgan Adds More Speculation For A WWE Return
Matt Morgan has posted another cryptic
tweet on his future in pro wrestling. Asked on Twitter if he has signed with
WWE, Morgan replied, "Well, I KNOW the answer to that one, and very soon
EVERYONE WILL KNOW the answer. #ChangeIsGood."
Meanwhile he is still on
the TNA Wrestling roster page, as well with Ric Flair, who was recently fired
from TNA. It has never been officially announced that he has left TNA, but it is
believed that he finished up his contract wrestling a last match against
Criminson at a TNA house show.
Sonjay
Dutt Injured During Destination X PPV, Alludes To Being Signed.
Sonjay Dutt suffered a dislocated shoulder
during last night's Destination X pay per view. He was escorted to the back
where he popped his shoulder back into place and returned to the match. Dutt
wrote the following on his twitter
account confirming the news and alluding that he was possibly signed by TNA
and will be back to compete in the X-Division soon.
"Thank
you so much to everyone. I dislocated my shoulder last night, going to rest for
few weeks, hope to continue my journey to the X title."
