More on Ryder not getting his U.S. title shot Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 11/17/2011 at 09:39 AM
WWE's website has a new storyline article up with comments from John Laurinaitis on Zack Ryder. Laurinaitis has denied Ryder's United States Title petition and given the Survivor Series Title shot to John Morrison.
Laurinaitis told WWE.com:
"I think I'm being very generous because John Morrison was on a losing streak which he seemed to have broken with a victory over Dolph Ziggler in a match last week. I'm all about giving talent opportunities and I feel that John Morrison has earned an opportunity to compete for the United States Championship."
"As far as Zack Ryder's twitter petition goes, no General Manager in WWE history is more about social media than I am. However, I feel he is going to have to gain many more than 15,000 signatures before I consider giving him an opportunity to compete for the United States Championship. Again, I'm all about giving talent opportunities ... when I feel they have earned them."
Dolph Ziggler's Opponent At Survivor Series Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/16/2011 at 01:36 PM
It was announced at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Bridgeport, Connecticut that Dolph Ziggler would be defending the United States Championship this Sunday at the Survivor Series. It was originally reported John Morrison would challenge Ziggler for the strap on Sunday. However, other reports claimed that Ryder would be the challenger.
WWE.com announced Wednesday that Ziggler will defend the United States Championship against Morrison at the event.
TNA star Jeff Hardy debuted a new mask at Sunday's Turning Point pay-per-view. The mask he wore to the ring prior to his match with Jeff Jarrett can best be described as "alien meets predator meets the Power Rangers."
TNA Talent Being Moved To OVW. One Wrestler Leaving The Company
According to PWInsider TNA has started to approach talents that aren't currently being booked on TV regularly, asking them to relocate to Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky to continue to refine their ring skills. We've heard a few names have been approached, but can confirm that one of those names, Ink, Inc.'s Jesse Neal, has turned down the request and will be finishing up with the company shortly.

BOSTON Finally, The Rock has come back to Boston! In front of a raucous, capacity crowd in Bostons TD Garden, The Great One made a thrilling return to the ring and laid the smackdown on The Miz, R-Truth and . . . Mick Foley?!
The Rock & John Cena faced off with The Miz & R-Truth (WATCH | PHOTOS) Theres a reason hes known as The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment. For the better part of 20 minutes, The Rock enthralled a sold-out crowd in Bostons TD Garden with little more than a microphone. Calling out his Survivor Series opponents, The Miz & R-Truth, The Brahma Bull was soon joined in the ring by John Cena.
Although they stood together against The Awesome Truth, the WrestleMania opponents couldnt help but take a few shots at each other. But when things got physical, the Cenation leader and The Peoples Champion were on the same page as they put the boots to their arrogant opponents.
It was a definite sign that on Sunday, Cena and The Rock may be able to work together.
Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS) Coming off a huge victory over Randy Orton on SmackDown, Wade Barrett locked up with The Viper again tonight, but a clear winner could not be decided. Six days before they captain opposing teams at Survivor Series, The Viper and the British competitor saw their bout turn into bedlam as the members of their teams stormed the ring and started an all-out brawl. The ring may not be able to contain these 10 competitors on Sunday.
Jonah Hill announced for next Mondays Raw SuperShow (WATCH) The star of the upcoming comedy "The Sitter" will be keeping an eye on all the madness of WWE when funnyman Jonah Hill guest stars on next Monday's Raw.
Kevin Nash attacked Santino Marella (WATCH | PHOTOS) Proving hes one of the most dangerous Superstars on the roster, Kevin Nash interrupted Santino Marella and powerbombed the Italian Superstar, nearly driving his body through the canvas. The big man then took a moment to gloat, saying that he's here tonight while Triple H is sitting at home.
WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio & World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. CM Punk & Big Show (WATCH | PHOTOS) Before teaming with Big Show in an exciting preview of Sundays two World Title bouts, CM Punk was ambushed in the locker room by the vicious Alberto Del Rio and stomped into the ground. (WATCH) Bravely, The Straight Edge Superstar still made it out for his match, but he couldnt stop The Mexican Aristocrat in his weakened state and was pinned by the WWE Champion. After the bell, Del Rio continued his assault, punishing Punk with the cross armbreaker.
Kelly Kelly def. Natalya (WATCH | PHOTOS) Following the announcement that Eve will face Divas Champion Beth Phoenix for the title this Sunday at Survivor Series, the beautiful challengers best friend and current Maxim covergirl (WATCH) Kelly Kelly proved that she was more than just a pretty face by beating the smug Natalya.
Sheamus def. Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS) Before they clash on opposing teams at Survivor Series, Sheamus and Jack Swagger battled one-on-one with the powerful Celtic Warrior claiming victory.
Mick Foley presented John Cena, This is Your Life! (WATCH: Part 1 | 2 | 3 | PHOTOS) In an attempt to unite John Cena and The Rock before their big Survivor Series bout, Mick Foley presented a candid look at the Cenations leaders extraordinary life. Hearkening back to a moment Foley shared with The Brahma Bull on Raw more than 12 years ago, the former WWE Champion introduced Cenas little league coach, father and former tag partner, Bull Buchanan, to the ring.
Unfortunately, things did not go as The Hardcore Legend planned. First, the coach embarrassed Cena when he brought up a traumatizing childhood strikeout, then B-2 claimed that his former partner ruined his life and finally Cenas dad chastised the WWE fans who boo his son.
Before things could get worse, The Rock hit the ring and delivered a devastating Rock Bottom to Mick Foley, saving his Survivor Series partner from any further embarassment.
Mason Ryan def. U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS) After WWE.com announced that Christian pulled out of Team Barrett at Survivor Series due to an injury, Vickie Guerrero revealed that Dolph Ziggler will be taking the sketchy Superstars place on the squad. Apparently, the United States Champion was trying to stay in one piece for Sunday night as Vickie interfered early in the match by slapping Mason Ryan across the face. But before the cocky competitor could get out of the arena, he was tossed back in the ring by John Morrison and driven into the mat by the massive Welshman.
Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes & Hunico def. WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston & Sin Cara (WATCH | PHOTOS) Beaten and unmasked by Randy Orton on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes showed the WWE Universe his face and an even nastier attitude. Claiming that The Viper actually emancipated him by taking his mask, the twisted Superstar brutalized two of the competitors he will face at Survivor Series before pinning Kofi Kingston.
Mick Foley arrived at the arena (WATCH) As Michael Cole writhed on a trainers table somewhere in the arena, WWE Raw SuperShow received an unexpected guest Mick Foley. Arriving in a limousine, the former WWE Champion revealed that he spared no expense to show The Rock and John Cena a night they will never forget.
Jim Ross failed The Michael Cole Challenge (WATCH | PHOTOS) Is anyone in the WWE Universe surprised that The Michael Cole Challenge was a sham? After weeks of threats, the sniveling announcer finally subjected J.R. to three tests for the opportunity to take over his announcing position. First, the Sooner beat Cole in an arm wrestling match. Then, J.R. schooled him in a dance competition. But the WWE Hall of Famer couldnt pass the final challenge a comparison to see who weighed less.
Cole may have been entertained by his swerve, but he was the only one. Outraged by what he described as a colossal waste of time, CM Punk stormed the ring and vowed to make Raw interesting again. Of course, he was quickly interrupted by Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis who announced a huge bout for tonight CM Punk & Big Show vs. WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio & World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry.
Unimpressed by the GM's declaration, The "Voice of the Voiceless" immediately went about making Monday night more entertaining by locking Cole in a brutal Anaconda Vise. (WATCH)
- WWE is now selling a "Future Endeavors" t-shirt for John Laurinaitis. Former WWE Diva Cherry wrote the following on Twitter regarding the new gear: "I have 2 say that t new "Future Endeavor" tshirt is pretty hurtful for me at least! A lot of dreams were crushed w that statement. Not cool"
WWE Tough Enough contestant Ivelisse Velez returned to a WWE ring at the FCW live evet on Thursday night. She was eliminated from the recent season due to an injury.
Velez is the third woman from Tough Enough to currently be signed to FCW as Christina Crawford and Ariane Andrew are there as well. She has previously gone under the name Juliet The Huntress.
Scott Hall Enters WWE Sponsored Rehab Again Today Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/12/2011 at 10:13 PM
Scott Hall entered WWE sponsored rehabilitation once again earlier today, I can now confirm.
Hall, who WWE has spent more on than any other past or current performer for rehab, was highlighted in an ESPN documentary last month.
There was one thing unusual about Hall's latest stint as I'm told a limousine picked Scott up at his home today to take him to the rehabilitation facility.
Sources close to Hall indicate to me that he's been drinking heavily over the past few months.

Results from the Turning Point Pay-Per-View
TV Championship:
After the match going back and forth between Robbie E and Eric Young, with Young shedding a few layers of pants Eric Young brought it to the top ropes diving onto Robbie E and giving him the advantage, however, Robbie E managed to pick up the win after Robbie T interfered in the match by taking out Eric Young allowing Robbie E to get the pin and become the new Television Champion!
World Tag Team Championship:
This mixed tag match started out with only the men competing and each team doing everything they could to get the 3 count. Jesse Neal sporting a red, white and blue mohawk, speared Hernandez and with the two reaching for the tag they both finally tagged in Toxxin and Sarita. After Hernandez interrupted a near pinfall on Toxxin, Ink, Ink. seemed to gain control, however, even after ripping down the pants of Anarquia ,Mexican America picked up the win afteroutside interference allowed Sarita to pin Toxxin.
X Division Championship:
This was an extremely physical match by these competitors. It started with Kash and Aries trying to take out Sorensen and doing whatever they could to make it happen. They stuck to the mat to start, however, Sorensen quickly took it to the air with an impressive dive outside of the ring onto Aries and Kash. It wasnt long before it went back to the 2 on one scenario against Sorensen. After a couple near pinfalls by Kash, Aries told Kash to stick to the plan so he could keep his belt , though this didnt seem to be something Kash was entirely on board with. After a suplex and a neck breaker Kash had Sorensen pinned but Aries on the outside put his foot on the rope to stop the count. While arguing with the Ref Aries came from behind for a roll up on Kash to get the 3 count and retain the X Division title.
No DQ Match:
After Christopher Daniels formed a gentlemans agreement with RVD to make it a regular match, Daniels started out in control by striking when RVDs guard was down. When things seemed to stop going the way Daniels wanted he attempted to leave but did not make it far with RVD in tow. Despite Daniels making the match a regular match he brought into play a chair and disregarded the agreement he just made before the start of the match. Favor seemed to go back and forth for the majority of this bout, however, RVD came ahead as both the crowd favorite and the top contender in this match despite Daniels unfair methods and was able to pick up the 3 count and win after a 5 star frog splash.
Undefeated Streak:
These two giants started out with brutal blows and appropriately a test of strength. As the match progressed Crimson showed amazing resilience to the blows Morgan was dishing out. Morgan was unleashing many of his signature moves that would typically decimate his opponents but they did little to slow down the undefeated Crimson, even after the Carbon Footprint, Crimson could not be pinned. Morgan did show much resilience from Crimson as well which showed these two opponents to be quite evenly matched. Crimson and Morgan resorted to exchanging punches and it eventually led to a stoppage by the ref after both threw him to the ground for a double disqualification.
Tag Team Match:
Steiner and Ray worked together to weaken Mr. Anderson with a good old fashion beatdown. After the ref missed a tag from Anderson to Abyss the beating continued as Abyss looked on. Finally Abyss managed to get tagged in and cleaned house on Steiner and Ray. After Anderson was nearly pinned the ref said Abyss was tagged in who promptly went for the blackhole slam on Steiner and got the pin to pick up the win.
Knockouts Championship:
This match started out strong with the two competitors going back and forth however, due to a distraction from Karen Jarrett, Rayne was able to interfere unnoticed and hit Sky and almost allowing Kim to land a splash off the top rope. When Sky was distracted it allowed for Gail Kim to hit Sky and get the pin to become the new Knockouts Champion.
Challenge Match:
The match started out with Jarrett waiting in anticipation to start. Though it was short lived as Hardy enlisted a series of moves and finished Jarrett off with a Twist of Fate to get the Pin. Jarrett demanded that the match be restarted and Hardy obliged. After much back and forth Hardy came out victorious for the second time. Jarrett would not accept this and went after Hardy and forced him back into the ring where after what seemed to be a sure pin for Jarrett was reversed by Hardy for a third pin!
World Heavyweight Championship:
In the main event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, new champion Bobby Roode defended against "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Roode tried to take advantage with his power early on, but AJ gained momentum with his high-flying skills. In the end, after a back and forth battle, AJ Styles went for the Styles Clash finisher, but Roode reversed it and with a handful of tights, got the 3 count and retained the championship! Another cheap win for Roode - and an underhanded win he'll certainly have to address on Thursday's IMPACT on SpikeTV!

Former Star Kamala Reportedly Has Foot Amputated Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/11/2011 at 11:28 AM
WrestlingNewsCenter.com reports James Harris, who is known as "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala, had his foot amputated Monday due to complications of high blood pressure and diabetes.
Hollywood Jimmy, a close friend of Harris, wrote Wednesday, "I talked to James today and hes in good spirit. James is a true Memphis Wrestling legend and will be missed in the wrestling world. I had the opportunity to travel up and down the road with James and he's one of the nicest people in the wrestling business. I wish James a speedy recovery and we hope he feels better."
This would likely signal the end of his 37-year career as a professional wrestler, which has included stops in every major promotion including WWE, World Class Championship Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, Mid-South Wrestling, Memphis Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling and the American Wrestling Association. He continued to compete on the independent wrestling circuit in recent years and would occasionally resurface on national television. He last appeared on a national show at TNA Wrestling's Slammiversary pay-per-view event in June 2008, as a guest at Jay Lethal and SoCal Val's wedding.
Harris is on Facebook at www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1656220687. His last message, published October 14, reads: "Sometime when I'm riding along the highways in my big 18 wheeler I think of a particular moment in wrestling, and I will just hold on to it as long as I can with warmth. Then again, there are the sad times. I guess we all have them."

Sheamus def. Christian Ted DiBiase def. Jinder Mahal World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. Daniel Bryan Big Show def. three local athletes (3-on-1 Handicap Match) Alicia Fox def. Tamina Hunico & Epico def. The Usos Wade Barrett def. Randy Orton
SmackDown results: Survival of the British By: Michael Burdick November 11, 2011 Tags: SmackDown: November 11, 2011
LIVERPOOL, England Just nine nights before Survivor Series, SmackDown aired from Liverpool, England for the first time ever, as "The Barrett Barrage" moved across the pond and right over WWE's Apex Predator.
Wade Barrett def. Randy Orton (WATCH | PHOTOS) Just one week after Wade Barrett triumphed over Sheamus, "The Barrett Barrage" gained shocking momentum as the tough English Superstar scored a stunning victory over opposing Survivor Series Team Captain and nine-time World Champion Randy Orton.
When Barrett countered The Viper's RKO by pushing Orton forward, the referee was forced to duck out of the way to avoid a collision. His split-second loss of focus opened the door for the aggressive Brit to hit his prey with a thumb to the eye, before rolling the disoriented Orton up for the extremely important win.
Hunico & Epico def. The Usos (WATCH | PHOTOS) One week ago, Hunico emerged to help an unknown Epico launch a brutal attack on Sin Cara. This week, the two Superstars teamed up to take on The Usos in tag-team action with Raw Superstar Primo standing in their corner. During the match, the SmackDown announcers revealed that Primo and Epico are cousins.
After Hunico scored the pinfall thanks to numerous distractions by his new partners in aggression Primo launched a post-match sneak attack from behind. This paved the way for a three-on-one assault that only added insult to injury.
Alicia Fox def. Tamina (WATCH | PHOTOS) At the urging of SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, the sultry Aksana looked to get some pointers by accompanying Alicia Fox to her match with Tamina. (WATCH)
A-Fox did not disappoint. Even with "Pin-up Strong" Diva Natalya sitting in with the SmackDown announce team, the determined Diva stayed focused, overcoming a tough effort by Tamina with an impressive somersault leg drop.
Big Show def. three local athletes in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) Big Show invited his Survivor Series adversary, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry (MATCH PREVIEW), to stay and watch the carnage he was about to unleash, as he took on three local athletes at the same time.
Dominating with an absolutely massive onslaught, The World's Largest Athlete hit a double chokeslam on two of his unfortunate foes before delivering the WMD to the third for the three-count.
World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. Daniel Bryan (WATCH | PHOTOS) After surviving his match with Mark Henry one week ago, Daniel Bryan welcomed a rematch against the daunting World's Strongest Champion. But, his heroism proved insufficient, as Henry eventually flattered his gutsy opponent with the World's Strongest Slam.
Following the match, the irate World Champion tried to induct Mr. Money in the Bank into his "Hall of Pain." Bryan fought back valiantly, only to suffer more of the same. However, when his massive punisher tried to attack an advancing Big Show with the chair moments later, The World's Largest Athlete met his wielded steel with the full force of his huge fist.
Ted DiBiase def. Jinder Mahal (WATCH | PHOTOS) The leader of the "DiBiase Posse" continued to carve his own path, reigning supreme over Jinder Mahal with Dream Street.
Sheamus def. Christian (WATCH | PHOTOS) Despite claims by Christian that he had a serious neck injury, the crafty Superstar gave Sheamus a run for his money. After a brutal effort by both Superstars, The Great White hurled his adversary into the turnbuckle, stunning him long enough to hit the Celtic Cross for the pin.
Survivor Series Team Captains Randy Orton and Wade Barrett faced off (WATCH | PHOTOS) Wearing a neck brace supposedly the result of a chokeslam at the hands of Big Show one week ago Christian interrupted a heated exchange between recently named Survivor Series Team Captains Randy Orton and Wade Barrett (MATCH PREVIEW). Things quickly turned physical as The Viper engaged both Superstars. The two-on-one struggle inspired Sheamus to charge to the ring and even the odds.
As a result of the altercation, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long ordered an immediate rematch between Sheamus and Christian a showdown originally scheduled for one week ago. He also made an monumental main event between Barrett and Orton.

We open with a video package looking at the history of Beer Money leading into last weeks shocking and completely nonsensical heel turn when Bobby Roode hit his now former best friend James Storm with a beer bottle and defeated him to win the World Title.
We then go to the arena as the new champion comes to the ring to address the fans for the first time as the World Champion. He is annoyed at the fans for booing him, but then reasons that they were actually chanting Roode, which is what those morons were doing last week when they cheered him in his match with James Storm. This is a generation of selfishness, and he is the leader of the New Generation. Come on, dont call it that! Well turn around and see TL Hopper and Kwang come running out. He says doing the right thing gets you nowhere, and last week he ate James Storm for lunch and the stupid son of a bitch (Roodes words) never saw it coming. We see Storm watching backstage on a monitor and being held back by security as the crowd chants Cowboy, but Roode continues and says that after 13 hard years, opportunities like Bound For Glory and last week only come along every so often, so he made the most of it. Storm knocks out a security guard and comes out from the back, but is stopped on the ramp by security, who quickly tears through all of them and rushes the ring as Roode heads for the hills. Sting comes out of the back and cuts off Roode on his way to the back, telling him that if he needs to look out for himself, Sting would rather take the high road, so hes going to make a rematch tonight and Roode will have to defend against Storm, and as Storm would say, Sting is sorry about his damn luck. Roode is livid as Storm death stares him from the ring.
Speaking of former Fortune members fighting each other, AJ Styles wrestles Christopher Daniels, Ronnie from the Jersey Shore teams with Eric Young against Robbie E and Rob Terry, and Gail Kim & Madison Rayne defend the Knockouts Tag Team Title against Velvet Sky & Mickie James.
Speaking of Young and Ronnie, theyre backstage, and theyre WALKING!
Speaking of backstage, Dixie Carter is walking around talking with the CEO of Bellator Fighting Championships, the newest addition to the SpikeTV family, then we go to a video package hyping the upcoming Crimson vs Matt Morgan match at Turning Point.
Time to head to the ring for our opening match!
The Pope vs Crimson
They tie up and Pope chain wrestles his way around Crimson, but Crimson takes him down with a shoulderblock. Pope responds with a kick to the gut and a DDT for 1, then comes off the second rope with a fistdrop for 2. Crimson catches Pope in a three quarter nelson and rams knees to his skull, but Pope reverses out and knocks Crimson on his back with an uppercut. Pope comes off the ropes, but Crimson counters to the Red Sky for 3.
Winner: Crimson
Gunner is backstage saying that he was raised to respect your father, and hes always lived by a chain of command, and tonight, hes going to teach Garrett Bischoff about that chain of command and teach him some respect.
Time for the match weve all been waiting for!
