Former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson just did an interview with the WrestlingEpicCenter website, where you can check out the full interview. Below are the highlights:
- She had back surgery a few months back, and is doing better now. Shes not a 100% better year, but shes getting there. When asked if shed ever return to wrestling, shes not interested in actual in ring wrestling, but would be interested in doing something for special occasions.
- There was talk in 2005 that she would leave WWE, and she says that it was because there were personal problems with her husband that needed to be addressed. She learned from somebody that WWE was not happy with her decision to do this and they considered letting her go, but that decision wasnt made.
- She does not regret posing for Playboy, saying that she had fun doing it and loved going to the Playboy Mansion. She jokingly says that My mother might regret it, but I dont
- When asked about the internet fans of wrestling, she says she tries to avoid it because there is so much negativity and cant understand why people who have never been in wrestling before can talk about it like they are experts. Of the stories shes heard on the net, she says its about half & half over whether they are true or not.
- She doesnt watch much of the WWE. Towards the end, she kind of got frustrated because she would pitch storylines and nothing would come of it, and says its frustrating for all the girls. She also says its hard for her to watch because she had to leave because of injury and she wasnt ready to give it up.
- There was a little bit of talk of holding the new Divas Championship, but nothing ever came of it. She says that she felt she had really worked hard and improved in the ring, but some of her opponents would go out of their way to make her look bad.
- On the prospect of working with TNA, she says never say never and that she likes Jeff Jarrett & Gail Kim had pitched a few ideas to her about coming in (obviously before Gails recent departure) But for right now, Torrie wants to focus on her clothing store in Texas, which is going very well right now.

LOUIS Just two days before the WWE Championship Scramble Match at Unforgiven, General Manager Vickie Guerrero attempted to reclaim control of SmackDown.
Even after Undertaker continued his reign of terror, promising that endless agony and an eternity in Hell would befall her at Unforgiven (WATCH), an irate Guerrero burst on the scene with all the authority of her office. She stood toe-to-toe with both Big Show and Vladimir Kozlov, ordering them out of her ring before demanding that The Deadman give her an apology at the pay-per-view this Sunday. (WATCH)
A Scrambling twist WWE Champion Triple H defeated The Great Khali in a non-title Lumberjack Match with all of his WWE Championship Scramble opponents surrounding the ring. But, when the smoke cleared at the end of the night, it was Jeff Hardy who stood tall. After helping to even the odds as his fellow lumberjacks ganged up on The Game, the Legend Thriller suddenly delivered a surprise Twist of Fate to the champion, leaving no doubt that he is determined to take the gold away from him.
Earlier, The Brian Kendrick kept his SmackDown undefeated streak alive with an impressive win over the high-flying Hardy, thanks in no small part to Ezekiel Jackson. Just when it looked like Hardy was putting The Brian Kendrick away, Jackson yanked him from the ring and propelled him into the ringside wall, setting up his associate for the win.
United States Champion Shelton Benjamin gained some momentum of his own, hitting Pay Dirt to score a huge victory over his fellow WWE Championship Scramble participant and former United States Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter.
Which Superstar will walk out of Unforgiven with the WWE Championship around his waist?
The Truth unleashed R-Truth continued to make the most out of his second chance at life. After rapping his way through the St. Louis crowd, he scored an impressive win over Bam Neely, utilizing a high-octane arsenal that culminated with a devastating Ax Kick. (WATCH)
Sultry success After executing her lethal DDT on Maria for the second time in two weeks, Maryse heads into Unforgiven on a high note for her golden opportunity against Divas Champion Michelle McCool. Will the sultry Diva find the same success against the All-American Champion?
From Russia with hate Vladimir Kozlov continued his tireless search for better competition. Following Super Crazys success over newcomer Ryan Braddock, the Moscow Mauler invaded. But, when he threw down the iron gauntlet, it was Big Show that answered the call. However, before The Worlds Largest Athlete could give Kozlov the biggest challenge of his life, the Superstars were ordered out of the ring by an enraged Vickie Guerrero.
A ringside enigma For the second week in a row, Brie Bella has left the WWE Universe completely bewildered. Just when it looked as if her chances for success were fading, Bella sought refuge under the ring, reemerging to catch Victoria completely off guard.
According to numerous sources Gail Kim is not officially gone from TNA just yet. Apparently Gail and Dixie Carter have agreed to meet and discuss the possibility of her staying with the company. Neither women was happy with the way the situation was handled by the lawyers and agents have decided to talk things over one on one. Gail was offered a new deal by WWE but she did not sign it yet as she would really like to stay in TNA.

There are several major news items to report following Thursday's "iMPACT!" broadcast on SpikeTV as TNA Wrestling continues the road to the September 14 "No Surrender" Pay-Per-View event!
- Sting spoke out against the fans this week, leading to an appearance by TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe - who has been hellbent on getting revenge on "The Icon". The Sting-Joe confrontation brought out Kevin Nash, who tried to get in between the TNA superstars. While Nash and Joe argued, Sting hauled off and nailed Joe with his baseball bat! However, before the broadcast ended - Jeff Jarrett's music played! Sting then challenged Jarrett to come to "iMPACT!" next Thursday night!
- In the "Four Ways To Glory" qualifying, "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage defeated "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles after Frank Trigg cost Styles the bout! Cage advances to the Pay-Per-View main event for a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship!
- Consequences Creed earned a shot at Petey Williams and the X Division Championship at "No Surrender" by beating Sheik Abdul Bashir on "iMPACT!". Bashir originally got the win by using his feet on the ropes, but the referee found out what happened and allowed the match to restart, resulting in Creed coming back to beat Bashir. Creed will get a shot at the gold at the Pay-Per-View, while Bashir got into a brawl with the referee afterward!
- In a non-title match, TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. defeated Shark Boy and Super Eric of the Prince Justice Brotherhood. After the bout, The Latin American Xchange came out to get revenge on Beer Money. Hernandez ran Beer Money out of the ring, while the returning Homicide was waiting or them in the aisle! Homicide was wearing an eye patch as a result of what Beer Money did to him.
- It was later announced that The Prince Justice Brotherhood will take on The Rock N' Rave Infection at No Surrender!
- Abyss put out an open challenge, which was answered by Team 3D and Johnny Devine. Later, Matt Morgan came out to even the odds and help Abyss! During the brawl, Abyss was seemingly hesitant to use any weapons.
- ODB beat Raisha Saeed in Knockouts action, then battled Saeed to the backstage area. When she emerged, she had Saeed's burqa! Later (back in the ring) Kong and Raisha double-teamed ODB, leading to Roxxi coming out to clear the ring and help ODB.
Update on the futures of Christian Cage/Kevin Nash
According to Dave Meltzer, it could still go either way in regards to Kevin Nash and Christian Cage signing new deals with TNA Wrestling. A lot of it is going to depend mostly on how interested WWE is in either guy.
As far as Nash goes, it is believed that he has made it clear to TNA that WWE is interested in bringing him back. If he were to return to WWE, he would likely team up again with Shawn Michaels to combat Chris Jericho and Lance Cade. There is still concern as to what Nash can do in the ring even with Michaels as a tag-team partner.
It appears that WWE no longer has heat with Cage in regards to the way that he left the company in 2005. One of the things that likely held Cage down in the past was his lack of size, but due to the WWE's Wellness Policy, that wouldn't be as much of a factor now.
PITTSBURGH After a wild beginning on ECW on Sci Fi with a live edition of The Dirt Sheet, Matt Hardy, Finlay, Tommy Dreamer & Evan Bourne won an Eight-Man Tag Team Match, with Hardy pinning ECW Champion Mark Henry for the victory after the Worlds Strongest Man was given a Shooting Star Press by Bourne, a splash from Dreamer, a body splash from Finlay, and a Twist of Fate from Hardy. (WATCH)
In an Extreme world where five Superstars will vie for the ECW Championship at Unforgiven, things were upside down when The Miz & John Morrison hosted a special episode of their hit WWE.com show, The Dirt Sheet, on ECW on Sci Fi. Miz is one of the challengers in the ECW Championship Scramble on Sunday, and he was joined by guests Matt Hardy, Chavo Guerrero, Finlay and the Worlds Strongest Champion, Mark Henry.
Each guest, however, was treated to the insulting words of Miz & Morrison words that sparked a wild melee when Morrison hit Hardy with a microphone. As Miz, Morrison, Guerrero, Bam Neely, Mark Henry and WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas attacked Hardy and Finlay, Evan Bourne and Tommy Dreamer rushed to their aid, clearing the ring of the imminent threat. (WATCH) Who will walk out of Unforgiven with the ECW gold? Can Henry hold on despite the 80 percent chance of losing his title? Or will someone else step up and take the gold for themselves?
Ricky Ortiz continued his undefeated streak on ECW, defeating Ryan Braddock. The towel-waving Ortiz has been impressive during his streak, but how long can he keep the victories piling up?
Victories seem to be eluding newcomer Gavin Spears who, despite his claims that he is the crown jewel of ECW General Manager Theodore Longs New Superstar Initiative, has yet to taste success on ECW on Sci Fi. Spears did battle with Super Crazy Tuesday night, once again coming up short in his bid to earn his first win. Will Spears live up to his claims?
While it hasn't been made official yet by WWE, the word going around is that Shawn Michaels suffered a minor tear of his triceps which will not require surgery. The match for Sunday is apparently still going to take place and Michaels might not even need any time off. If this is all true, WWE and Michaels got a tremendous break.

D-Lo Brown in a non-title match The tag team match between Cryme Tyme and The Miz & John Morrison ended in a non-contest Kane def. World Champion CM Punk, Batista and JBL in a Battle Royal
ST. LOUIS Less than a week before Unforgiven, the participants of the World Heavyweight Championship and ECW Championship Scrambles faced off in over-the-top-rope Battle Royals. In addition, Raw was the site of several shocking returns, including Randy Orton, Candice Michelle and the high-flying Rey Mysterio.
Back from Hell At the beginning of the night, the still-injured Randy Orton appeared in his hometown to belittle Raws champions, drawing World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk out to the ring. After their exchange, two of Punks Championship Scramble opponents, Kane and JBL, made their presence known, boasting of their chances at Unforgiven. They were interrupted by another Scramble competitor, however, when Batista made his way to the ring, gunning for the Big Red Monster, who had brutalized The Animals friend, Rey Mysterio. Afterward, he turned his attack on the Straightedge Champion and the self-proclaimed wrestling god, spearing them both. (WATCH)
All four men faced off later in the night in a Battle Royal meant to feature all five competitors, but Rey Mysterio was still missing. Though Punk performed well, eliminating Batista and JBL, the ferocity of Kane was too much for the World Heavyweight Champion. After Punk was thrown from the ring, he had another confrontation with Randy Orton, dousing the Legend Killer with water. Meanwhile, Kanes victory was interrupted by Rey Mysterios familiar entrance music, as the Master of the 619 ran straight for the ring and dismantled the Big Red Machine. (WATCH)
Truly unforgiven In the ring together for the first time since Chris Jericho inadvertently punched Shawn Michaels wife, the two Superstars met to sign the contract waiving personal liability for whatever might happen in their Unsanctioned Match at Unforgiven. HBK and the first-ever Undisputed Champion shared harsh words, promising to do heinous things to one another on Sunday night. Hoping to get the jump on his former teacher, Lance Cade rushed the ring, but was caught by the ever-alert Michaels, who proceeded to viciously batter Jerichos protégé. HBKs assault was so aggressive and intense that he severely injured his arm, jeopardizing his match at Unforgiven. (WATCH)
Raw goes extreme As part of a cooperative effort between Raw General Manager Mike Adamle and ECW GM Teddy Long, ECW Champion Mark Henry and his four Championship Scramble opponents also competed against one another in a Battle Royal. The Worlds Strongest Champion showed why he deserves to have the coveted title around his waist as he eliminated Chavo Guerrero, The Miz, Finlay and Matt Hardy, to victory. (WATCH)
Killer pep talk In his address at the beginning of the night, Randy Orton also took aim at World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, saying that a better name for the priceless Superstars would be worthless, since they allowed two thugs to steal their titles. Later, in the locker room area, the champions confronted the Legend Killer, who slapped Rhodes and encouraged both young Superstars to take some action and grow a set.
Later, Cryme Tyme and The Miz & John Morrison prepared to face one another in a tag team match a result of the rivalry seen on their programs on WWE.com: Word Up and The Dirt Sheet. Before the four Superstars could even make it into the ring, World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase took Ortons advice, brutally attacking Cryme Tyme and taking back their stolen titles.
All eyes on her Though Orton is still recovering from his injuries, former Womens Champion Candice Michelle appeared on Raw fully healed and ready to go. The returning Diva worked together with Mickie James & Kelly Kelly to take on the team of Womens Champion Beth Phoenix, Jillian & Katie Lea Burchill. In spite of The Glamazons boasts about her strength and power, Candice led her team to victory by pinning Phoenix, the woman who injured her months ago. (WATCH)
Though one-half of Glamarella had difficulties securing a win on Raw, Beth Phoenixs beau, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella, tasted victory in a match against D-Lo Brown, as he commenced the countdown to breaking Honky Tonk Mans record for longest Intercontinental Title reign, with only 62 weeks to go.
The who is here? When John Cenas entrance music played in St. Louis, the crowds response was one of surprise and excitement, since the former WWE Champion had just undergone successful emergency surgery for a herniated disk in his neck. They were even more surprised when they saw who was wearing Cenas signature gear: Charlie Haas. Though the former WWE Tag Team Champion continued his trend of dressing up like other Superstars, Cenas moves and appearance werent enough for him to defeat the Jamaican Superstar, Kofi Kingston.
Noble impression As Layla looked on, Jamie Noble competed against William Regal. Though the 2008 King of the Ring was in brutal form, Noble shocked and impressed the beautiful Diva at ringside by rolling Regal up for the pin.
As we reported last night, Shawn Michaels suffered a torn triceps muscle working an angle with Chris Jericho and Lance Cade at the Raw and Smackdown television tapings in St. Louis, MO. The word last night is that, despite the injury, Michaels still intends to work against Y2J at Sunday's Unforgiven PPV in Cleveland, OH. Typically speaking, torn triceps require surgery and requires about six months time to recover.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com, Shawn Michaels suffered what is believed to be a triceps tear tonight at the RAW taping in St. Louis, MO. That is the only word we have on the situation at the moment.
Jeff Jarrett was not in favor of signing Sting last year since he didn't work house shows or international events. The decision to resign him is solely upon Dixie Carter. She views Sting as a true superstar who helps establish new business deals. Kurt Angle was viewed the same but now is being questioned since he hasn't increased ratings or PPV buyrates, and is known for being stubborn with new ideas from the creative team. The feeling is that Sting will be the ultimate decider on if he remains with the company for another year.
Wrestling legend Killer Kowalski dies Posted by Bobby Spade on 08/30/2008 at 12:25 PM
Walter "Killer" Kowalski passed away this morning at 2:15 AM. He had been taken off life support nearly two weeks ago following a massive heart attack on August 8th. Following his Hall of Fame wrestling career Kowalski also trained a number of stars, most notably Triple H. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Frankie Kazarian released the following statement this morning:
I was just woken up by a phone call that I have been dreading. My good friend Steve King just called and informed me that our dear friend and trainer Walter "Killer" Kowlaski has passed away. Anyone who knows me knows that I have always attributed Walter with all of my success in pro wrestling. He took in a 20 year old kid who had traveled 3,000 miles from southern California, and embraced him like a son. He was kind enough to pass on his extensive, and unique knowledge of this business to me. From day one, Walter became my trainer, and my friend. He guided me through every step of pro wrestling, but more importantly, taught me how to be a genuine, good person, and to treat others with respect, dignity and class. I owe so much to Walter, that I could never put it all in words. The time we spent together is and always will be some of the most precious memories I have, and I will keep it in a special place in my heart. So much of the best things that have happened to me are a direct result of his mentoring. The people I have met, the relationships I have made, and my success in and out of the ring are a direct result of him. Walter loved angels. We had many conversations about them on our regular trips to church that we both enjoyed on Sundays. To me, and anyone who knew him, Walter was an angel. He was a gentleman, friend, and honestly one of the best people to come into my life. Walter, I love you and I could never sing your praise enough. You set me on a path in this business, and in life, that has been in one word, a dream. Rest in the kingdom of heaven my dear friend, as you are now amongst the angels that you loved. Your student, friend, and brother in Christ, Frankie
Former WCW and WWE Superstar Steve Dr. Death Williams, 48, was just released from the hospital after surgery for a hernia. Williams came out of surgery and was saying he thinks it is time to retire as an active wrestler. WWE stopped using Williams as a developmental trainer a little over a year ago and he has been working a few independent dates ever since.

PITTSBURGH When youre on top, everyone is gunning for you. This is exactly the position WWE Champion Triple H finds himself in.
The Game had to fend off United States Champion Shelton Benjamin in a Champion vs. Champion bout. The King of Kings was successful, using a Pedigree to down the Gold Standard. But after the bell, Benjamin stunned Triple H by hitting him from behind with his United States title. To add insult to injury, The Great Khali came to the ring and chokeslammed the vulnerable champion. (WATCH)

Nowhere to hide Since returning from banishment and sending Edge to hell at SummerSlam, Undertaker has been very clear about how he feels about SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero.
Im not the forgiving kind, he said at the beginning of SmackDown in a rare ring appearance on the mic. With Vickie, Chavo Guerrero, Bam Neely, and WWE Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder watching from a monitor in Vickies office, The Deadman delivered an ominous warning. I will be coming for you. And, I will be coming for your soul. And once I take it, you will burn. Burn in hell, he bellowed.
Watch Undertaker's grim warning in SmackDown's Quick Cut
SummerSlam Rematch After losing to Montel Vontavious Porter at SummerSlam, Jeff Hardy had an opportunity to settle the score in a rematch on SmackDown. From the start, Hardy came at MVP with an aggressive offense. But as the battle wore on, MVP launched his own assault, resulting in a series of near pinfalls. But each time, Hardy found a way to survive.
In the end, the high-flyer dug deep and summoned the energy to deliver a Whisper in the Wind and Swanton Bomb to finish off SmackDowns Franchise Playa. After the bell, United States Champion Shelton Benjamin came to the ring to offer his version of a congratulations. (WATCH)
Jilted giant Before a winner could be determined in the tag team match pitting Jesse & Festus against WWE Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, Big Show interrupted to deliver a message. Unfortunately for Festus and the tag team champions, they ended up strewn about the ring after the angry giant took out his frustrations on them. The source of his anger? Not being included in last weeks series of WWE Championship Scramble Qualifying Matches on SmackDown.
I will never, ever, be overlooked again, he said. In a sarcastic apology to Guerrero for disrupting the match, The Worlds Largest Athlete said, Lets just call it an oversight.
Impressive debut After enduring some harsh trash talking from Kenny Dykstra before the bell, R-Truth let his actions do the talking throughout their match. Using an impressive corkscrew flying elbow, followed up by a scissors kick, the SmackDown newcomer picked up a debut victory. (WATCH)
Beautiful start Also making an impressive debut was Brie Bella. Using an inside cradle, SmackDowns newest Diva was able to stun Victoria and get the pinfall.
Blonde brawl In other Diva action, Maryse & Natalya picked up a win over Divas Champion Michelle McCool & Maria. Using a hard-hitting DDT, Maryse got the pinfall over Maria. But after the bell, Maryse attacked McCool and the two engaged in an all-out brawl that spilled from the ring onto the arena floor. Natalya got involved, holding the All-American Girl so that Maryse could get in a cheap shot. The blow left McCool lifeless on the arena floor, as the victors strutted their stuff on the way out of the arena.

Noble got hurt following a belly-to-belly suplex as he landed on his neck and upper shoulders. Hagar quickly pinned him and the match was over. It then took approximately three minutes for WWE personnel to get Noble to the backstage area.
