As noted before, El Generico wrestled a TNA dark match last night and is booked to wrestle another tonight. Generico is still under contract to ROH and received permission from officials to do the TNA matches.
- TNA officials are currently finalizing plans to bring back The Main Event Mafia with Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Sting, Samoa Joe and other members. Officials would like for Booker T or Scott Steiner to return but nothing is a lock on either of them yet. AJ Styles and other stars are also being discussed to join the group.
The Mafia will be returning to feud with Immortal as the top babyface group in TNA. One of the main reasons theyre being brought back is because Spike TV requested it. The Main Event Mafia brought some of iMPACTs highest rated segments when they were around.
With the return of the group, all signs point to Kevin Nash re-signing with the company. However, if he doesnt re-sign, TNA officials arent worried about having to replace him in the group.

- Former WWE star Gregory Helms, who ripped Shawn Michaels on Twitter a few months back, had more comments against Shawn this week after his Hall of Fame induction.
Helms wrote: "The HOF is great but I take more pride & comfort in the fact that I've never "screwjobbed" ANYONE in life or the biz! $$$ isn't everything."
Later, Chris Jericho wrote that Shawn was the greatest performer of all-time. Helms re-tweeted Jericho's message and added his opinion: "BS! Flair did more & got more people over.
Helms then wrote another message, which sounds like it was directed at Jericho: "If u got something to say, say it public. Enough ass-kissing. He wasn't the greatest when he was cussing u out in catering."
Helms continued to rant:
"Flair got over people that absolutely SUCKED!! Shawn hadn't gotten over anyone but himself in the last decade!!
I'm sorry being honest comes off bad on Twitter, I'm not hating, I'm stating FACTS!! Facts that I would swear by on my life.
And wearing a cross doesn't make u right. Hitler wore one too! Don't be FOOLED by a TV persona!! I'm always honest. NO ONE can accuse me."

- A number of older independent wrestlers were informed by World Wrestling Entertainment officials that they are solely seeking to hire talent under the age of 30, especially those that would Enter the company's developmental system.
While not an official edict, more than four wrestlers were told this in recent weeks when looking into potential work with the organization.
- WWE.com announced today that Florida Championship Wrestling, the official developmental territory of WWE, is holding a four-day talent evaluation clinic March 4-7 in Tampa, Florida.
NXT season three contestant AJ Lee and Raw Superstar Darren Young are the most notable wrestlers to land contracts with WWE via FCW's talent evaluation clinic. Both signed developmental contracts immediately following a tryout in May 2009.

Monday's episode of WWE RAW scored a 3.05 rating, virtually even with last week's rating. The show did hours of 3.0 and 3.1.
RAW averaged 4.60 million viewers over the two-hour broadcast, with the first hour doing 4.55 million viewers and the second hour doing 4.65 million viewers. Overall, the show was up around 100,000 viewers from last week.
While a 3.05 rating does not sound like anything to celebrate, there was fear within WWE that the rating was going to dip below 3.0 due to the stiff competition that RAW faced from the BCS Championship college football game on ESPN, which was the most-watched show in cable history. The BCS game drew a 17.8 rating and averaged 27.3 million viewers.

When the rating is announced for last night's episode of WWE RAW, it likely will not be pretty. Monday's BCS National Championship game on ESPN (between the Oregon Ducks and the Auburn Tigers) drew a staggering 16.1 overnight cable rating, according to TVByTheNumbers.com. If that number holds up, it would make that game the most-watched show in the history of cable television. The record is currently held by an NFL Monday Night Football game on ESPN between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings (10/5/09). That game did a 15.3 rating with 21,839,000 viewers.

John Cena issued an apology on Twitter for using the word "ass" on RAW, claiming he was fined for the non-PG language. Cena wrote on Twitter.com/JohnCena:
"Lots of posts about my language last night on Raw. I do apologize. It was out of line and I was indeed fined. If I have offended anyone it was not my intention."
"I was very frustrated about being hurt and not able to compete. I lost my cool. I am sorry. Next time I will use something more creative like 'whoop yer crap locker' or 'whoop yer dump box.'"

NASHVILLE When the country music capital offered a hearty howdy to the Raw roster, the Superstars returned the hospitality by offering up matches that were as fine as a fiddle, a host of Nexus initiations that looked as painful as a porcupine patch and one of the most Showstopping announcements in the whole darn history of WWE.
Randy Orton & Jerry Lawler def. WWE Champion The Miz & Alex Riley (WATCH | PHOTOS) Alex Riley might want to think about a new gig. As assistant to WWE Champion The Miz, Riley has suffered his share of humiliation. This week proved no exception. Just three weeks until the WWE Title Match at Royal Rumble, Miz teamed with Riley in a tag team match against his Rumble opponent Randy Orton & Jerry The King Lawler.
Although The Viper has demonstrated how dangerous he can be, Miz has also been unable to pin Lawler as well. As a result, Riley saw a lot of action and Orton took full advantage. WWEs Apex Predator laid out Riley with an RKO, but before he would pin the frat fiend, he offered The Cleveland Screamer a chance to rescue his partner. The Miz, selfish Superstar that he is, however, simply walked away and permitted Orton and Lawler the easy pin.
CM Punk deferred Nexus initiation; Cena confronted Punk via satellite (WATCH | PHOTOS) Standing high on the TitanTron, CM Punk must have felt like the tops in Tennessee. Unfortunately for him, though, he turned out to be just a ninny in Nashville. Rather than take a leap of faith as he had promised, The Second City Savior instead laughed at the gullibility of the waiting audience, informing them he had no intention of jumping. He eventually made his way to the ring, where he joined the remaining disciples, who did follow through with their Nexus initiations: Michael McGillicutty, Husky Harris and David Otunga.
As Punk bragged about his supposed superiority, Cena flashed onto the TitanTron. The 2010 WWE Superstar of the Year promised to be at Raw live next Monday night and challenged his nemesis to a match. When the Nexus leader agreed to compete, Cena vowed he would destroy Punk then and there.
Shawn Michaels announced as 2011 WWE Hall of Fame Inductee (WATCH | PHOTOS) The first 2011 WWE Hall of Fame Inductee will be Shawn Michaels! Although his induction has always been a foregone conclusion, HBKs return to Raw still left everyone in the WWE Universe overwhelmed. Everyone, perhaps, except mouthy Mexican Alberto Del Rio. After criticizing The Showstopper, Del Rio felt pretty smug until the future Hall of Famer demonstrated just why he will be inducted into the esteemed hall he leveled Del Rio with Sweet Chin Music!
Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel refused to take part in Nexus initiation (WATCH) Not all Nexus initiations end with a brutal crescendo. When CM Punk insisted that Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel slug it out with kendo sticks in order to prove themselves worthy of the group, the two original members were clearly averse from the get-go. Although the two circled one another ominously, they eventually laid down their weapons and stormed out on The Second City Savior.
John Morrison def. Sheamus (WATCH | PHOTOS) It appeared as if the guru had almost run out of greatness. John Morrison appeared to be getting absolutely clobbered by his recent rival Sheamus. Before The Celtic Warrior could claim victory, however, Morrison showed there was still some delight left in his Monday night fight when he flipped the script on the Irishman deep in the match and quickly edged out a win.
David Otunga endured Nexus initiation (WATCH | PHOTOS) Unenviable task, meet immovable object. Big Show dropped by Raw to brag to the WWE Universe that it would be he who was going to prevail at this months Royal Rumble. During his speech, however, The Nexus interrupted. As if that werent masochistic enough, David Otunga, in pursuit of carrying out his initiation, hesitantly stepped into the ring, faced The Worlds Largest Athlete and slapped him across the face. Needless to say, Show unleashed his wrath on a yielding Otunga and left him shattered on the canvas.
U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry def. Tyson Kidd & Ted DiBiase (WATCH | PHOTOS) Tyson Kidd might want to think twice about hitching any wagons to Ted DiBiases star. The two paired up against United States Champion Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry in a tag bout and ended up fizzling under the heft of The Worlds Strongest Man.
Bryan undoubtedly hoped he could come up a winner the following night as well when he and his WWE NXT Rookie Derrick Bateman would embark on a double date with The Bella Twins.
Husky Harris endured Nexus initiation (WATCH) Husky Harris faced a daunting test. In the second Nexus initiation of the night, the third-generation Superstar was required by CM Punk to undergo a series of strap lashings. As fellow Nexi cracked the leather slabs down upon his back, Harris writhed in pain. The ordeal finally ended at Punks discretion, after he had deemed Harris worthy enough to remain in the group.
Alberto Del Rio def. R-Truth by Count-out (WATCH | PHOTOS) La Verdad, or The Truth in Spanish, suffered another setback. For the second time in as many weeks, Alberto Del Rio emerged victorious in a bout against R-Truth. The Truth began to unravel when the SmackDown Superstars personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, distracted him with taunts. After punishing Rodriguez, Truth could not manage a return to the ring in time to beat the 10-count.
Afterward, the Mexican aristocrat once again berated the American audience and vowed that he would win the Royal Rumble to headline at WrestleMania.
CM Punk commenced "new" Nexus initiations (WATCH | PHOTOS) CM Punk continues to impose his self-righteous revolt upon the Raw roster. As the de facto leader of the "new" Nexus, The Second City Savior foiled a scheduled WWE Tag Team Title Match in order to satiate his ego.
Punk led the band of outlaws in an attack on current tag champions Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov. He then sprang a surprise on his own minions. Every Nexus member, including himself, must undergo an initiation ritual to prove themselves worthy of the yellow and black band.
To establish his devotion, Michael McGillicutty was forced to endure the finishing move of each of his cohorts. The third-generation competitor reluctantly agreed, and by the time Punk delivered the final punishing maneuver, a GTS, McGillicutty appeared to be slipping in and out of consciousness.
- Former Nexus member Michael Tarver is said to be ready to return to action full-time now and is still wrestling in WWE developmental. Tarver is coming out with no entrance music and has been wearing his Nexus armband.

On her status: "I'm not just leaving TNA, I'm retiring from wrestling and going back to school. "
Her TNA departure: "I have nothing but good things to say about TNA. If it wasn't for my experiences there I wouldn't be the person I am today. But the way things were going, I just felt I needed a change. With the state of the company and the way they were using me, there wasn't a lot for me to keep me going either. I've done a lot of the things I wanted to do, and there aren't many opportunities left for me."
Her future in wrestling: "If I go back to school and earn a degree, and then some amazing wrestling opportunity came my way I'd be able to make a more adult decision. I have to think about the rest of my life, the state of my body and my bank account. But never say never. Maybe a year or two down the line if I can still fit in my tights!"
