Tonight, however, the Puerto Rican Superstar failed to teach his NXT Rookie a lesson. Instead, he ended up on the receiving end of a devastating Playmaker from MVP and lost his bout. Whats even more frustrating for Carlito is that it was Tarvers botched interference that led to his loss. How will the apple-spitting Superstar deal with his winless NXT Rookie?

Chavo Guerrero & Zack Ryder (PHOTOS | WATCH) Two of Raws most exciting Superstars joined forces this week as Evan Bourne & Yoshi Tatsu teamed to take on the arrogant duo of Chavo Guerrero & Zack Ryder. While the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior and The Long Island Loudmouth proved to be worthy opponents, the two simply werent able to keep up with the explosive offense of Bourne & Tatsu. In the end, Air Bourne nailed Chavo with a breathtaking Shooting Star Press to pick up the victory for his team.

Layla (PHOTOS | WATCH) Beth Phoenix would like nothing more than to get her hands on Womens Champion Michelle McCool, but at the beginning of this weeks WWE Superstars, Vickie Guerrero made it clear shell make sure that never happens. Claiming that The Glamazon is too manly for a Womens Championship opportunity, the Official SmackDown Consultant said Beth would never get near the title.
Unsurprisingly, Vickies controversial statements enraged The Glamazon, resulting in a rough night for the always annoying Layla. Battering her opponent with serious power maneuvers and a devastating Glam Slam, Beth picked up the victory and made it clear that shes coming for McCools Womens Championship whether Vickie likes it or not.
