Intercontinental Champion John Morrison by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH) While sitting ringside with Todd Grisham during the main event of WWE Superstars, United States Champion The Miz took the time to scout his former tag team partner and opponent at WWE Bragging Rights, Intercontinental Champion John Morrison. It wouldnt be long, however, before the arrogant Superstar would interfere. With Morrison seemingly about to deliver some Starship Pain on CM Punk, The Miz stormed into the ring and intentionally attacked The Straightedge Superstar to disqualify The Guru of Greatness.
The United States Champion may have gained some momentum in his rivalry with Morrison, but what will happen when these former allies, turned foes, square off at WWE Bragging Rights one week from Sunday at Pittsburghs Mellon Arena?
Vladimir Kozlov def. Tommy Dreamer (PHOTOS | WATCH) After coming to the ring accompanied by his associate in the ruthless roundtable, Ezekiel Jackson, Vladimir Kozlov made it clear to Tommy Dreamer that he had only one thing on his mind: Victory. Honing in on The ECW Originals already injured arm, The Moscow Mauler brutally attacked Dreamers left elbow, pinning his opponent for the win. To add insult to injury, Jackson then took to the ring, dispatching Kozlovs already defeated opponent with a thunderous slam. Following the match, Dreamers swollen elbow had to be drained by a medical professional. (PHOTOS)
Mark Henry def. Chris Masters to qualify for Team Raw (PHOTOS | WATCH) It was apparent that Mark Henry desperately wanted to join Team Raw at WWE Bragging Rights in the first-ever 14-Superstar tag team match. The Worlds Strongest Man overcame an injured left knee against Chris Masters to qualify and unite with co-captains DX, Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston. Henry utilized his size and strength to bulldoze over his opponent, finishing The Masterpiece off with a bone-crushing body slam, and earning himself a ticket to WWE Bragging Rights in the process.
