Details on the new stable in TNA As seen on last night's episode of Impact, Brutus Magnus dropped his gladiator gimmick and formed a stable known as the British Invasion with Doug Williams and Rob Terry. In their debut match as a team, Magnus and Williams defeated Homicide in a two-on-one handicap match after assaulting his tag team partner Hernandez backstage prior to the match.
Williams had been under contract to TNA for nearly a year, but the company had nothing creatively for him until now.
Terry, a former bodybuilder from Wales, got his start in wrestling two years ago when he signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He was in Florida Championship Wrestling for a while, but was peculiarly released this past summer as WWE doesn't give up on prospects who fit their ideal look for what a wrestler should look like so quickly. He stayed in Florida and has been training with Team 3D at their wrestling academy school in Kissimmee ever since. TNA signed him to contract in February.
