Independent Wrestler Santana Garrett Alludes To Good News
Independent wrestler Santana Garrett tweeted that she received some good news today but was not able to elaborate on it. Santana was one of the three women who received a tryout at TNA's developmental territory OVW. She faced former TNA developmental talent Taeler Hendrix in a losing effort. Santana did not only receive a TNA tryout, but in September got a WWE tryout in their developmental territory NXT, losing to Ric Flair's daughter Charlotte. If the name seems familiar, Santana has appeared for TNA on two different occasions. The first being in March of 2010 as the valet of the re-debuting Orlando Jordan where he debut a new look and started the bisexual angle. After training Santana returned to TNA at the Knockouts Knockdown on March 17, 2013, where she competed as a villain in a losing effort against Brooke Tessmacher. Other women who recently received TNA Tryouts include Candice LaRae (twice), Veda Scott, and Marti Belle. I can confirm that Christy Hemme was looking into ROH and former OVW star Scarlett, but I don't know if she ever did get the tryout.
