    WRESTLINGBLOG

    06-03-2009
    uitslagen TNA IMPACT 5 MAART

We start off tonight’s show with a look back at the Main Event Mafia and their internal turmoil. We see the faux sympathy that Kurt Angle has shown to Sting. We see Jeff Jarrett show why he is the founder of TNA, we also see him get attacked by Kurt. We see the contract officially signed between Kurt and Sting.

Jeff Jarrett is in the Founder’s Lounge and he says that due to Kurt Angle’s actions last week, he was suspended for one week without pay. Jeff says that he is no longer an active wrestler and Angle decided to attack him and the executive shareholder. Jeff says that Kurt’s salary has been donated to a worthy cause.

We are live on tape from Universal Studios and your announcers are Mike ‘Humble Pie’ Tenay and Don ‘Forget Honky Tonk Man, I have an a** whooping list’ West.

Mike says that Don will explain his actions from last week. Don says that he knows that he shocked a lot of people last week and said a lot of things that were out of character. Don says that he said some things that hurt the fans and friends. Don says that if he could have last week back, he wouldn’t change any of it. Don says that he apologizes for nothing and he says that if you have been betrayed by a friend, you know how he feels. Don says that he is going to be on the announce team until he hears otherwise and tells everyone to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Mick Foley comes to the ring and he has something to say. Mick says that with great pride he introduces the TNA Heavyweight Champion and Sting comes out. Mick says that this has been a long time in the making. Mick says that he wants to thank Sting for saving him last week on Impact. Mick says that it is probably not the first time that Sting saved him. Two weeks ago, he went on a walk down memory lane, his most important moment was when he came out of a refrigerator box and hit the ‘elbow drop of a lifetime’ on Sting. Mick says that if it was anyone else, it would not have meant a thing. That move changed Mick’s life because every bit of success goes back to that day eighteen years ago. Mick wants to save Sting now. He hopes that after Destination X, no matter what else happens, he wants to think that we have seen the last of the Stinger as a part of the Main Event Mafia. Mick says that TNA needs Sting back because Mick needs Sting back as the executive shareholder. Mick says that the fans need Sting back.

Sting says that he appreciates the nice and kind words from someone like Mick because it means a lot. Sting says that he cannot let an egomaniac like Kurt Angle make the decision whether he is in the Main Event Mafia or not. Sting says that he does not have any problem with the other members of the Main Event Mafia and he has a history with them. Mick says that he has never played Sting the way the Main Event Mafia has.

The rest of the Main Event Mafia comes to the ring. Nash is on the mic and he wants to know why Mick is so tense. Nash says that Foley hasn’t been here long enough to know what is going on. Nash tells Steve that Mick is ‘office’ and not one of the boys. He calls Mick a ‘stooge’. Nash talks about the last five month and how they are so close to getting the respect that they deserve.

Sting says that he does not have a problem with any of the Main Event Mafia members in the ring. Kurt did not respect him when Kurt spit in his face. Nash tells Steve that he ain’t looking at Kurt. They knew that Kurt was a hot head but he is their hot head. He wants Kurt next to him if they have to go to war. He also wants Sting with him. Nash says that Mick and Jarrett painted Sting in a corner and they have to fight, but they can fight like warriors. They can fight with honor, dignity, and respect. At the end of the night, no matter who wins, the belt stays in the family. Nash says that they are stronger than ever. The other objective is that Sting turns his back and walks away without finishing what they set out to do. Sting might be able to live with that, but none of them will be able to live with that.

Kurt Angle is in the Impact Zone despite being barred from the building. We go to commercial.

We are back with the Ultimate X Rough Cut where they talk about the dangerous moves during the Ultimate X Match. Chris Sabin talks about how he had to deal with a title belt that was not going to come off. A.J. suggests that the next step would be an Ultimate X inside the Six Sides of Steel.

Jay Lethal is in the back with Lauren and Consequences Creed shows up and they are wearing suits. Lauren wants to know what the occasion is and Creed says that Jeff Jarrett gave them a bonus because Jarrett thinks that they are the future of the company. Lauren wonders if it came from Kurt Angle’s pay check. Jay Lethal has turned from Black Machismo into the Second Black Nature Boy. Lethal talks about the Machine Guns and how they are not loyal. Lethal says that this is getting started because they have ladders to climb.

After the match, the lights go out and Suicide appears. Shelley charges at Suicide but he fails to connect. Suicide with knees to the head and then he runs Sabin into Shelley’s midsection. Suicide uses Sabin for a leg drop on Shelley and then he drop kicks Sabin into the turnbuckles. Suicide with a suplex from a stretch plum position. Suicide takes the title belt. The lights go out again and Suicide is gone when the lights go back on.

We are in the Main Event Dressing Room and Kurt Angle is with Scott Steiner, Booker T, and Kevin Nash. Scott reminds Kurt that he has been banned from the building by Jeff Jarrett. Scott tells Kurt to leave. Angle says that he was only fined a few bucks and he was told to stay away. Angle says that he is not going to listen to Jarrett. Nash tells Kurt to go home. Nash says they don’t need any more headaches with him and Sting. Kurt says that he is here to have fun. Booker tells Kurt that Jeff Jarrett gave Kurt’s money to the Frontline for new suits. Kurt says that since it is his money, it is his property and he is going to get his property back.

We are back and we look at the two Off the Wagon Matches.

We go to the back with Lauren who is with James Storm, Robert Roode, and Jackie Moore. Lauren wants them to have some compassion for the two wrestlers who are gone from TNA. Roode says that he has lost a truckload of money in this recession, but he has truckloads more. He says that there are other jobs if you are not in TNA. Roode says that they made it clear with their challenge. Storm says that LAX does not understand English and one of them will be fired after tonight.

LAX come out and Hernandez says that neither of them are going home because they are going to win the titles.

We are back and it is time for a look at the situation between A.J. Styles and Booker T.

Booker T comes to the ring with Sharmell and Scott Steiner. Booker says that he wants to get a few things off his chest about him and A.J. Styles. Booker reminds us about things he said about A.J. and his past. Booker says that he was wrong about A.J. He was trying to show A.J. some tough love. Booker says that A.J. showed him how to be humble. Booker says that he wants to squash things and have A.J. come out to shake hands so they can be better men. Booker tells A.J. that Scott Steiner won’t do anything.

A.J. Styles’s music plays and his pyro goes off but he does not come out of the ramp. With the distraction, it allows A.J. Styles to enter the ring and hit Steiner from behind with the belt and then he turns his attention to Booker. Steiner hits A.J. and it is a two-on-one attack. Steiner holds A.J. for Booker and Booker with a slap. A.J. avoids Booker and he grabs the belt as he leaves the ring.

A.J. backs into three policemen in full riot gear. Two of them take A.J. away while the third one goes into the ring. Steiner pushes this policeman and it is Samoa Joe. Joe with a kick and punch to Steiner and Joe has the same knife from last week. Security hits the ring and they try to convince Joe not to kill Steiner.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and Don and Mike argue about who is at fault about what just happened with the Main Event Mafia, Samoa Joe, and A.J. Styles.

We see A.J. Styles being taken away in handcuffs as Booker taunts him.

Don says that he has had enough with Mike and he leaves one more time.

With only one man at the announce table, Kurt Angle attacks Jay Lethal as they enter the Impact Zone. Jay gets in a few punches but Angle with a rake of the eyes. Angle sends Lethal into the ring and hits an Olympic Slam and it is time for Angle to reclaim his suit jacket.

Matt challenges Abyss to a Match of 10,000 Tacks. He will make Abyss never come back.

TO THE BACK where Lauren is with Eric Young who is wearing one of the Kurt Angle paid for my suit suits and Lauren makes sure to point this out. Eric says that he is mad that Kurt hasn’t thanked him because he bought the suit at Salvation Army but he spent the rest of the money on a Surround Sound system for his game room. Eric invites Angle over to play, but it looks like Angle wants to stay at the Impact Zone to play Punch Out with Eric’s face. Security comes out and Angle takes care of all three with a single punch to each. Young tries to fight back and Main Event Security pulls Angle away. We go to commercial.
