2012 will not go down in history as Ring of Honor's finest year from both an in-ring and a technological standpoint. The company made some changes to correct both of those situations over the past few weeks and if this show is any indication then 2013 should be a rebound year for the company.
The final two matches of the show saw Kevin Steen and his minions defend the two most important titles in the company. Their stranglehold over the world title scene came to an end as The Briscoes became 8-time ROH World Tag Team Champions. However, the group left the Manhattan Center with the most important title in the company as Kevin Steen successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against El Generico in a Ladder War.
