    WWE Superstars Results - 6/30/2011
Report by: Sam Tindall of WrestlingNewsWorld.com

AUTHORS NOTE: It is my honor to once again join you for this edition of WWE Superstars. It was refreshing to see your comments last week, keep 'em coming!

    ***********

The show opens with Beth Phoenix on her way to the ring as Stanford & Mathews welcome us to the RAW portion of the show.

Gail Kim greets a few lucky fans as she makes her way to the squared circle. Scott reminds us that both women have held the Women's Championship but have yet to achieve Diva's Championship "glory".

Both women have done the opposite of Melina/Kim and have tweeted it was a dream match come true for them to wrestle each other. And we are underway...

    Beth Phoenix vs. Gail Kim

They lock up in the ring, Beth backs Kim into the ropes. Kim dodges Beth, who shoots for her legs, and attempts a Hurricanrana. Beth powers out of it and misses a Clothesline, which sets her up in the corner for Kim's inverted Spear/Crossbody. Kim attempts to get the upper hand, but Beth grabs Kim from the top rope and presses her above her head. She drops her like a bad habit and the fans already seem behind this match. Beth with a cover... 1... 2... Kickout by Kim.

A series of counters brings them to the corner. Kim fails another attempt at the Hurricanrana. Kim launches an assault by Dropkicking Beth off of the top rope (who never goes up there anyways) and while Phoenix is on her hands and knees she connects with a dropkick to the face! Kim then flies at Beth with one of her trademark moves, a tilt-a-whirl headscissors armbar submission hold! Beautiful! Beth is slowly brought to her knees as she begins to fade. The fans rally behind her and she powers out with a Sidewalk Slam!

Beth goes into power mode: two clotheslines, followed by an Atomic Drop and a double axe smash to the chest of Kim. She screams as the fans cheer her on. She calls for the finish, following it with a slingshot suplex. 1 ... 2 ...kickout.

The two then go back and forth, reversing all positions into a pinning combination. Beth catches Kim who makes ONE wrong move and hits the underhook facebuster - the Glam Slam! 1 ... 2 ... 3!

    Winner: Beth Phoenix by pinfall.

Phoenix helps Kim to her feet and the two shake hands - a sportsmanship (or should I say sportswomanship) we don't see often here in the world of sports-entertainment.

A promo airs for our main event: Trent Beretta & The Usos vs. Gabriel, Slater & Kidd. When will they turn Gabriel face? Seriously!

Promo for the Best of Cage Matches DVD. Has anyone noticed it's TV-14??? Thank God!

    ***********

JTG makes his way to the ring and apparently I missed something because the crowd (or post-production propaganda) has suddenly decided to boo the former member of Cryme Tyme. He calls for his music to be cut.

He successfully rips on "Las Haters Ville" and claims it feels good to be booed. He claims that if they want to make some money in the gambling capitol of the world, they gotta "bet on fly!"

Chris Masters makes his way to the ring for a re-match between the two. Stanford informs us that Masters holds the first victory.

    JTG Vs. Chris Masters

JTG gets a headlock on Masters, who backs him into the corner. JTG quickly finds himself in an attempted Masterlock. JTG slithers out of the ring.

Upon reentry, Masters his a stiff chop followed by a Suplex. JTG hits a quick shot to the head of Masters and follows it up with a dropkick to his back. He then targets the head and hits a few elbows. 1 ... 2 ... Kickout.

JTG locks in a Chinlock as a "You Suck" chant gains momentum. If Andy Levine didn't sell VKM's slap long enough, well... Masters takes about 5 seconds to kill JTG's heat and has already powered out. It may be simply a testament to his power, he misses a clothesline and gains one in return from JTG. 1 ... Kickout from Masters.

JTG attempts another submission and the power game comes into play quickly again. Samoan Drop by Masters who then connects with a series of the LOUDEST chops I have heard (minus the Big Show's.) He hits a Shoulder Block from the second rope and continues to punish JTG, who needs to find a way around this power game.

JTG attempts a crossbody, but Masters swings him around and makes quick work of him with a Masterlock Submission. We are left trying to figure out how someone can pass out that quickly in a rushed match. Props to them for trying to tell a story.

Winner: Chris Masters by TKO from the Masterlock.

The follow-up promo for Andy Levine from RAW airs followed by another promo for our 6-man tag team match Main Event.

    **********

Alicia Fox makes her way to the ring accompanied by Rosa Mendes.

Striker promos MITB Pay-Per-View as Kaitlyn makes her way to the ring with mentor Natalya at her side.

Alicia Fox w/ Rosa Mendes Vs. Kaitlyn w/ Natalya

Fox nails the rookie with a kick and sends her off the ropes to a rude awakening of a shoulder block. Kaitlyn goes for an early cover. 1 ... Kickout.

Kaitlyn tortures Fox with a wristlock and hoists her above her head. Fox powers out of it and begins to torture Kaitlyn's arm by slamming it on the mat. She rallies out of it as well.

Alicia goes for a kick, Kaitlyn grabs her leg and Dragonscrews her to the ground. She follows it up with an inverted Bulldog. Natalya gives us the impression that she is coaching her student to stay on top of Fox.

Kaitlyn hits another shoulder block but her time to shine is over as Fox reverses an attempt and slams her face first into the turnbuckle. Jack begins to tout Kaitlyn's study of the game, past superstars such as Wendi Richter.

Experience seems to lend the upper hand as Fox hits a kick to Kaitlyn's gut before taking to the ropes for her finisher, the Axe Kick! 1 ... 2 ... 3!

    Winner: Alicia Fox by pinfall.

Jack questions how Kaitlyn will take this "set back."

Another promo for our main event followed by an announcement that on the 4th of July edition of RAW we will see a #1 Contenders Match for the WWE Championship: Alberto del Rio Vs. R-Truth Vs. Rey Mysterio! I assume that the ad means to face Cena at MITB, so they appear to be running with the Punk suspension storyline.

    ***********

WWE.com Poker promo followed by our RAW Rebound. CM Punk's promo follows the Tables Match mostly in tact. Jack then informs us of Punk's suspension and Striker hints at an appearance by Vince McMahon this Monday on RAW.

The Uso's then come out to another Haka which I am confused as to why they are doing a Maori war dance and not a Samoan war dance. To the uneducated audience it still seems like a pretty awesome entrance I must say!

    WWE All-Stars promo.

    ***********

Trent Beretta comes out to a nice pop.

The (pointless) 3-Time Tag Team Champions Gabriel & Slater make their way to the ring along with Tyson Kidd who is WITHOUT a manager this week.

Trent Beretta & The Uso's Vs. Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater

Trent and Kidd lock up to start this match off as Jack cites their recent rivalry. They also inform us that Tyson's small amount of hair is now completely gone. Nice. A series of counters lands our first hold as Kidd locks Baretta into an inverted ankle lock. Baretta slows down Kidd with a hammer lock counter of his own. Baretta hits a nice dropkick. 1 ... 2... Kickout by Kidd.

Trent gets a tag and Kidd flies across the ring to get one as well. Slater and Jimmy Uso enter the ring.

Headbutts by the "One-Man Rockband" seem to backfire as they tout the hard-headed Samoan heritage of Jimmy. Jimmy hits one of his own, Slater's head appears to be spinning. Jimmy hits a few dance moves followed by a wrestling move: a sit-down powerbomb. 1...2... Kickout by Slater.

Striker (who does have something good to say once in a while) gives as a few character traits of the Usos (which means 'brothers' in Samoan) such as Jimmy being "more smooth" while Jey is "a bit of a hot head at times." Jimmy tags in Jey as these words ring true with Jey nailing a vicious elbow drop on Slater. 1... 2 ... Kickout.

Jey's ambition backfires as he runs into a boot by Slater who tags in the South African, Justin Gabriel. Gabriel hits a spinning heel kick and attempts a Suplex. Jey reverses it into a Northern Lights suplex with a bridge. Impressive! Of course Jack and Matt are so busy talking about the upcoming South African tour, they almost forget to call the cover. 1... 2... Kickout.

Jey hits a Scoop Slam before tagging Baretta, who hits a slightshot leg drop on his way in for good measure. 1 ... Gabriel powers out!

Headlock by Baretta followed by a shoulder block. He takes to the other side and monkey flips over Gabriel only to be met face-to-face as Justin kips-up to his feet in a nice exchange. Baretta hits a nice shot to the face on Gabriel who inches his way into the corner. The domination continues as he hits his trademark springboard elbow smash! He goes to the well (or the ropes) one time too many and goes for a crossbody, Gabriel ducks and Baretta nails the ropes. Slater immediately tags in for the cover. 1 ... 2... Kickout.

Mark Henry vs. Orton promo brings us to the commercial break.

    ***********

Tyson Kidd connects with a kick to the back of Baretta as we return to the show. 1 ... 2 ... Kickout. He brings it into a headlock. Matt informs us that they are focusing on Trents back and neck and the onslaught continues as Slater tags back in. He slams Baretta down and puts a lock on his shoulder. Trent battles out and they tease the tag. He eventually tags in an Uso brother!

Jey clears the "bad guy" corner and nails a spinning headbutt on Slater. He then SLAMS into him with the running hip smash ala Rikishi! He then sets Slater up, goes to the top rope and fights off Kidd only for Slater to run up the ropes and hits a Super Powerslam! 1 ... 2 ... Kickout by Jey. Gabriel is tagged in.

He hits a swinging neckbreaker. Nunzio counts the 1... 2... Kickout by Jey. Gabriel brings him into another headlock. Kidd tags in and hits a dropkick. 1 ... 2... Rope break!

Slater tags back in and lobs a few punches and kicks, stomps and every shot you can think of. Another headlock and Heath quiets the fans as he SLAMS Jey to his back. The monotony of the typical hot tag is thrown out here. He slingshots Jey into a Spear on Gabriel. Here comes Jey's opportunity as they nail a double clothesline and both men are down. Jimmy Uso & Tyson Kidd are tagged in.

Jimmy plants a forearm into the chest of Tyson, screams and as Kidd attempts to reverse it he is loured into an Alley-Us, the Uso Samoan drop. 1 ... 2 ... Kickout by Kidd!

Kidd hits a Jawbreaker on Jimmy, who falls into a tag on Baretta. Baretta hits a highflying dropkick and fails to get the pinfall. The match begins to breakdown as everyone begins to fight. The two legal members are up high! Baretta NAILS a Superplex on Kidd into a sea of Superstars on the floor outside of the ring! Nunzio begins the count.

6... 7 ... 8... Baretta struggles to get Kidd and himself into the ring. He goes for the cover only for it to be broken up by Gabriel. We are left wondering if this team can ever get a fair shake at a pinfall! The Usos hit a double Superkick on Justin Gabriel and make sure Slater cannot get into the ring as Baretta hits the Dudebuster Tornado DDT! Trent tags an Uso who hits their signature Samoan Splash! Cover 1... 2...

3! Outstanding match by 6 hungry superstars!

Winners: The Uso's & Trent Baretta by Pinfall!

The trio celebrate in the ring as replays air. Matt asks us to join them Friday on SmackDown! Fade to black...
