Once upon a time, in a bustling city, there lived a crocodile named Crocky. Crocky was a large and fearsome creature, feared by all who lived in the city. But despite his fearsome reputation, Crocky was a lonely and misunderstood creature. He longed for companionship, but no one dared to get close to him.
One dark and stormy night, Crocky decided to take a walk through the streets of the city. As he slunk through the alleys and backstreets, he came across a group of children huddled together under an awning, trying to stay dry. They were shivering and scared, and Crocky felt a sudden surge of compassion for them.
Without thinking, he approached the children and offered to take them to safety. To his surprise, they accepted his offer without hesitation. Crocky led the children through the stormy streets, shielding them from the rain with his massive body.
As they walked, the children told Crocky about their lives and their dreams. Crocky listened with interest, and soon he found that he was no longer lonely. He had made friends, and it was the happiest he had ever been.
But as they arrived to the safety of an abandoned house, the children disappeared, leaving Crocky alone once again. Confused and disorientated, Crocky searched the house for them, but he could not find them anywhere.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, but the children never returned. Crocky realized that they were not real children but ghost children, and he had saved them from the stormy night by giving them a place of shelter.
From that day forward, Crocky knew that he had a special purpose in life: to protect lost and lonely children, just as he had been protected by the ghost children. And so, he spent the rest of his days walking the streets of the city, searching for other lost and lonely children to take under his wing.
To this day, many say that on stormy nights, you can still see Crocky wandering the streets, looking for the next lost child to save. And if you're ever out on a stormy night, and you see a large crocodile walking down the street, don't be afraid. It's just Crocky, the ghost crocodile, keeping the lost children safe.
