Once upon a time, in a small village located on the banks of a murky river, there lived a giant crocodile. The villagers feared the crocodile and avoided going near the river. However, one day, a young boy who was curious about the crocodile went to the river to see it. The crocodile, who had been lonely for so long, dragged the boy into the water and drowned him.
From that day on, the villagers avoided the river even more, and the crocodile was left alone once again. But the boy's spirit did not rest and it began to haunt the village, appearing to the villagers in their dreams and warning them of the crocodile's danger.
One night, the villagers gathered together to find a way to put the boy's spirit to rest. They decided to appease the crocodile by offering it a sacrifice. They chose a young girl from the village to be the sacrifice and sent her to the river.
The crocodile, who had been waiting for a companion, was overjoyed to see the girl and dragged her into the water. The girl's spirit joined the boy's spirit, and the two of them were finally at peace. The villagers never saw the crocodile again, and the boy's spirit stopped haunting them.
From that day on, the villagers lived in peace and harmony, never forgetting the sacrifice that had been made to put the spirits of the boy and girl to rest. And the crocodile, who had finally found its companion, swam deep in the river, never to be seen again.
