The most important thing about watching deviant images is, I think, the fact that you ask yourself a lot of times in everyday life: What is this? What the àçck is this? But that's in the real world, in everyday life. When you look at the people and the creatures that are shown in deviant images, you often think: Well, it can't get a lot crazier than that, that's a very odd world, they must feel like me, at the very moment that I ask myself: What the àçck is this? It's a yin and yang thing, I always need the bad things that don't hurt me, because the bad things that don't hurt me make the bad things that do hurt me flee. That's, to my opinion, the therapeutic quality of arts. There's a lot more to it than that, of course, but I think, in a way, everything is related to that.
