We willen jullie bij deze voorstellen aan ons nieuwe huisdier , onze 'cola' beer , het was origineel een
koalabeer die Bart voor me heeft meegebracht uit Australie, en vermits we in Atlanta, de coca cola stad
wonen, is het nu een cola beer geworden !!

Onze poezen zijn al bekomen van hun bezoek aan de veearts, Mieuwtje lag gisteren te slapen bij mini-max,
dit is het beertje waar mijn lieve Berner Max vroeger mee speelde, zelfs al is onze Max er niet meer, zo
blijft hij toch nog altijd bij ons aanwezig. Fluffy ligt nu buiten te 'chillen' in een van onze tuinstoelen, het is
momenteel rond 20h en slechts 27 graden dus dat is een goede meevaller !!

Vandaag is onze president op bezoek geweest in Atlanta ! Helaas is hij niet afgekomen naar ons thuis
om een kopje koffie te drinken en Belgische chocolade te eten ...

Op weg naar huis even geluk gehad op de autostrade, ik reed op het middenvak, rond de 120 km per uur en
plots lag er een grote metalen stang van wel 1,5 m lang op de weg, ik kon die niet meer ontwijken en
het gaf een luide knal, thuis de wagen gecheckt en ik zie geen schade en zie ook niks loshangen, duimen
maar dat we geen extra factuur hebben binnenkort !

Donderdag werk ik van thuis uit, een verhuisfirma komt een schatting doen van de verhuiskosten, we hebben
een firma aangesproken waarmee onze buren verhuisd zijn en heel tevreden over zijn.

Nu zaterdag zal er veel lawaai zijn, ze komen namelijk gans het dak afnemen en een nieuw plaatsen, en dit
op 1 dag tijd, er zal een invasie van 14 man aanwezig zijn !! Ik hou alvast de poezen binnen tot ik zeker ben
dat alle nagels rondom het huis verdwenen zijn !

Mieuwtje en Mini Max

We would like to introduce you to our new pet, our 'cola' bear , it was  originally a koalabear that Bart
brought with him from Perth, but Bart decided since we live in Atlanta, the coca-cola city, the Koalabear
is now officially a 'Cola Bear '

Our cats have forgotten all about their visit to the vet and are pretty happy and relaxed. Yesterday Mieuwtje
was sleeping next to 'Mini-Max', this used to be the toy of my lovely Berner dog Max, since Max is no longer
with us, at least I still feel him a little bit around me as I still do miss him.Fluffy is currently 'chilling' in one of
our garden chairs, it is now around 20h00 and 'only' 27 C which is really nice and cool for us !

Today our president was in Atlanta, unfortunately he did not come to our home to have a cup of coffee
and some Belgian chocolate ...


When I was driving home tonight, I was driving about 70 miles per hour , in the middle lane of an Interstate.
all of a sudden there was a metal bar on the road and I could not avoid it anymore. I heard a loud metal
sound, and when I came home I checked the car immediately, I could not see any immediate damage
on and under the car, so fingers crossed we will not have another expensive bill ..

On Thursday I will be working from home, as a moving company will come by to make an estimate of
the moving costs. Our neighbors have used them and were very happy with their service.

Next Saturday it will be pretty noise at home. Our roof will be completely replaced, they plan to have
a crew of 14 people coming over, so I will keep our kitties inside until I have checked and ensured
all nails are gone.
