Onze gasten komen terug van 3 dagen Hilton Head en de uitstap heeft duidelijk hun zinnen wat verzet. Want het nieuws vanuit Europa was tot vandaag niet echt opbeurend. Maar plots en onder druk van de luchtvaartmaatschappijen wordt dan toch het luchtruim gedeeltelijk geopend. Deze middag nog even gebeld naar US Airways en voorlopig is hun terugvlucht voor morgen nog steeds ok en zijn er 5 plaatsen voorzien.
's Avonds gaan we met zijn allen eten voor het laatste avondmaal, deel 2. Dankzij het hotel ontdekken we een nieuw restaurant en hier komen we nog wel een keer terug. En nu maar duimen dat morgen alles goed loopt en onze gasten eindelijk naar huis kunnen.
Our guests are back from 3 days Hilton Head and clearly the unexpected trip has helped to forget they are stucked. Till today none of the reports from Europe were positive but finally and under pressure of the airline companies the aerospace is re-opened. We call this afternoon with US Airways and the flight of tomorrow is still planned to go ahead and our party of 5 is still confimred as having a seat on that flight.
We all join for the last evening meal, part two. Thanks to the hotel we find a new restaurant in the area. The food was great so a repeat visit will happen for sure. Wished our guests a good return flight (part two) and hope they finally will be able to get back to Belgium!
