Gisteren was het Willem zijn verjaardag en dus perfecte afsluiter van de 14 daagse US trip. Ook al krijgen we meer en meer informatie dat het Europees luchtruim gesloten is wegens een vulkaanuitbarsting, we laten het niet aan ons hart komen en gaan naar Ruby Tuesday voor het verjaardagsdiner. We konden er lekker buiten eten en het was er best lekker.
Deze morgen vertrok de Belgische bende dan richting luchthaven voor de terugtrip naar Brussel via Philadelphia. Het werd een terugtrip naar het hotel in Atlanta want alle luchthavens zijn nog steeds gesloten voor het gevaar van vulkaanas. En het ziet er helemaal niet goed uit want er is pas Woensdag terug plaats op de vlucht Atlanta Philadelphia Brussel. Aldus heeft de bende tijd om nog wat de toerist uit te hangen en onverwacht nog wat de vluegels uit te slaan.

Yesterday it was Willem's birthday and thus the perfect end for the 14 day US trip. Although not sure if this is the end as during the day we learn about an Icelandic volcano and the closures of most of European aerospace. But that is an issue for tomorrow, now we go to Ruby Tuesday for the birthday diner. It was our first time but for sure we will return to this restaurant.
This morning all went to the airport for the return trip to Belgium but instead it became a return trip to the hotel in Atlanta. All airports are still closed due to the danger of volcano ashes. First US Airways flight to Brussels with space for 5 is Wednesday pm!! So our Belgian visitors still have some time left for some sightseeing.
